About a 6-minute walk from Katsushika Station, there is a cake shop located between Nishi-Katsushika and Katsushika stations on the Tozai Line. The showcase displayed around 24 types of cakes and other sweets. Besides what I purchased this time, the cheesecake looked delicious. However, I won't visit again due to the short time I felt the staff's customer service did not suit me. The cakes themselves were delicious. Mont Blanc for 450 yen (left in the photo). The chestnut cream is firm, with rich whipped cream underneath, mildly sweet custard in the center, sponge around the edges, and what I believe is apricot jam or syrup on top of the chestnut. The combination of chestnut cream and whipped cream was delicious. It paired exceptionally well with coffee, balancing out the sweetness and creaminess. Cheesecake for 350 yen (right in the photo). It has a mild sweetness and a hint of saltiness that enhances the cheesy flavor. The cake is moist, with a sweet gelatin coating on top. It's refreshing and delicious, and the price is relatively affordable, leaving a good impression.

After stopping by the cycle shop in Katsushika and feeling hot, I wanted something cold, so I thought about getting some homemade soft serve ice cream at the cake shop here. But it turned out to be soft serve from Sujata... I chose chocolate and ate it while walking. It was quite firm. The cake shop had an old-fashioned feel and seemed a bit outdated. It would be nice if it was a bit brighter.

I have been using this cake shop since April 2018! It's a delicious and beloved shop. The owner is friendly and loves to chat. April is my birthday month, so my daughter bought a whole cake for me. We always celebrate family birthdays with Pomme du Terre cakes. This time we got a 6-inch size cake with decorations by making a reservation in advance. Since we are regular customers, they kindly added extra fruits as a service for my birthday. Thank you so much. We had a party at night and shared the cake with 8 people, and it was so delicious that there was none left. Pomme du Terre's cakes are really delicious! Their tarts are also tasty, so I will definitely go back to buy more. Thank you so much.

I always use this place and the cakes are really delicious. I've been coming here for over 15 years now. Whenever I'm nearby, I always get a cake for my mother's birthday or special events. I recently visited after a long time and was surprised that they remembered me. The cakes are still as delicious as ever, which makes me happy. Especially the shortcake and strawberry tart are amazing. The gentle whipped cream is irresistible. The tart has a thin layer of chocolate between the tart crust and the filling, which is also delicious. Having a point card with no expiration date is convenient. I will definitely make a reservation for my father's birthday next.

The shop has a very friendly sign at the entrance that says "We accept orders for birthday and graduation cakes!" It is a shop loved by the community. I went there to buy a bouquet for my anniversary with my wife, and also decided to get a cake. Their classic Mont Blanc, shortcake, and cheesecake have reliable flavors, but this time I decided to try their most popular items, the strawberry tart and the "Black Angel" made with bamboo charcoal and raspberries. I always find it hard to choose because everything looks so delicious. The owner is a friendly man who loves to chat, and you can tell he truly enjoys his work. This passion is reflected in the taste of the cakes. The cream is not too sweet, and the cake is fluffy. Thank you for the meticulous work that is perfect even for special occasions like anniversaries.

Feeling tired and craving something sweet, I visited a small handmade cake shop. I don't usually eat sweets, so I bought a "Pumpkin Pudding for 300 yen & Choux for 150 yen (both including tax)". When I opened the box at home, I was surprised to find a plastic spoon for the pudding and paper napkins, showing their attention to detail. The pumpkin pudding was rich and had a moist texture, with a subtle pumpkin flavor. The custard cream in the choux had a strong egg taste, and the crispy pastry was delightful. The shop was celebrating its 23rd anniversary with a campaign, so many students from a nearby vocational school came in. Thank you for the delicious meal.

In recent years, I have been buying Christmas cakes from various shops in the neighborhood. Last year, I bought from Amaretto, which was featured on a TV show. Before that, it was Toraaribe, and before that, Toraaribe again. And before that, it was Un Fond Solaire. I remember the year of Laputa too. This year, I bought from this shop for the first time in about 8 years. It was the first place my wife bought a Christmas cake in Kasai. We made a reservation a while ago and went to pick up the cake with the voucher, but my order wasn't ready, so it was a bit chaotic (laughs). The atmosphere of the shop was homely, and the cake we brought home had that homemade feel to it. Both the sponge and the cream tasted like a cake made by a mother. It was delicious in its own way. At least better than last year's Amaretto. But after trying cakes from a few different places, I still think Toraaribe is the best. I wonder where I should buy from next year.

There is a small cake shop located under the guard of Kasai that has been around for a long time. The entrance decorations are enticing. I often go there to buy cakes for guests or gifts. The display case is so eye-catching. It looks so luxurious. The sweets floating in the dim light. Just that makes it 50% more appealing. However, the prices are high, so I often buy roll cakes for my family. I haven't tried the popular bamboo charcoal roll yet. I'm not the adventurous type, so I often buy the chocolate and strawberry cream ones like in the picture. The whipped cream is light and not too heavy. I hope this shop continues to thrive.

There is a small Western-style confectionery shop in a town a little away from the station, offering a variety of cakes, roll cakes, and baked goods. I purchased one pudding (¥280) and one cream puff (officially called "choux" for ¥150). Pudding - Personally, it may be a bit too sweet, but it's not unpleasantly sweet and I enjoyed it. Cream puff - It's filled with plenty of cream and has a satisfying texture. This one is moderately sweet and easy to eat. The service was also polite.

The store has a sign saying it closes at 8pm, but actually stays open until around 9pm, which is very helpful for those looking to buy cakes late at night. The cakes are homemade, cute, delicious, and reasonably priced, making it a great find. There is a wide variety of options to choose from. The only downside is that the location is quite far from the station, but since there aren't many good cake shops in Kasai, it's worth the trip. The store is located near TCA, along the elevated tracks, and although it may be a bit hard to find, it's definitely worth a visit.

They sell delicious and reliable cakes such as roll cakes, chiffon cakes, baked goods, and cream puffs. I wonder how long they have been in Kasai. The owner has been running a cake shop for about 30 years. I will ask next time how long they have been in Kasai. It seems that people who were children have grown up and now bring their own children to buy cakes. Have they been in the current location for 20 years? Truly a local cake shop. The taste of the cakes is authentic! A whole roll cake can be eaten in no time because it's so delicious. When I used to live nearby and was single, I would eat about four cakes at once. The owner also enjoys his own cake late at night.

Located between Kasai and Nishikasai, near the elevated track of the Tozai Line, is a cake shop. The shop has a slightly fairytale-like atmosphere, with small dwarf figurines in the outdoor foliage. Upon entering the shop, you will encounter a man who doesn't quite fit the fairytale theme. The glass display showcases various cakes such as shortcakes, roll cakes, and birthday decoration cakes. The shelves inside the store are filled with a variety of baked goods. One interesting find is a completely black cake named "Black Angel" (360 yen), made with charcoal mixed into the sponge cake to give it its dark color. Despite its appearance, the cake is not bitter and the cream, which is white, contrasts beautifully with the black. The cream is lightly sweetened, reminiscent of buttercream. The Mille-feuille (330 yen) is unique as it uses layers of pie crust instead of the traditional crepe layers, sandwiching custard cream in between. The only downside is that it is difficult to cut vertically, so you may have to eat it by peeling off the layers. The cream puffs were on special for 100 yen instead of 150 yen, with a limit of 5 per person. Despite their small size, they are generously filled with cream, which is also subtly sweet like the other desserts. The shop is known for its not overly sweet cakes. They offer various discounts and service cards for future visits.

One day, while muttering about wanting to eat cake, I walked down a street I don't usually take and stumbled upon a cake shop! Without hesitation, I went inside. Wow, it's like a fairytale. They not only have cakes, but also a ton of baked goods. I got a cheesecake (baked) and a Mont Blanc for 700 yen. The cheesecake is a classic souffle type. The cheese flavor is a bit subtle, but the jam on top is really delicious. The Mont Blanc has a slightly subtle chestnut flavor, but the cream and sponge inside are not too sweet and very tasty. It's not mind-blowingly delicious, but it's just right for everyday enjoyment in terms of cost and taste. I'm curious about their baked goods too.

I bought the Black Angel! The raspberry flavor was strong and very spicy. After that, the staff talked to me for about 20-30 minutes.

The shop is far from my house, and I have never actually been there. Sometimes I have them bring back souvenirs. Today it's a shortcake. I like it. It's not the trendy low-sweetness, texture-focused shortcake. It's the kind I had as a child, with a sponge and cream that have a rich flavor. It's not overly sweet, but has a delicious, subtle sweetness. They've been open for 24 years, and are a cake shop loved by the locals. The deliciousness must come from the pastry chef's years of experience. Keep up the good work!
