We went on a Friday night and it wasn't too crowded, so we were able to get a table at a good time without a reservation. The menu had unfamiliar items, but everything was surprisingly delicious. I highly recommend the Rundan Sapi.

When the scorching heat continues day after day, I start craving Southeast Asian cuisine, so I decided to have lunch at "Buri Made" along Killer Street where you can enjoy delicious Indian cuisine. The popular "Nasi Campur" was already sold out, so this time I ordered the "Nasi Goreng" which comes with satay. The lunch menu is limited in variety, but it feels more cost-effective than the dinner menu, so the restaurant was crowded and the staff seemed very busy. The "Nasi Goreng" was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of seasoning, and it came with a sunny-side-up egg and krupuk, so it was not boring at all. Personally, I think it would be interesting to try using the coconut sauce from the satay for a little flavor change! Indonesian cuisine is great for when you're feeling a bit sluggish and not very hungry because you can still enjoy it. The service is sincere and pleasant, making it a great Indonesian cuisine restaurant.

I have never been to Indonesia, but the interior is cute and the smell of spices makes you feel like you're in Bali. It was crowded during lunchtime with many customers. I ordered Nasi Goreng, which reminded me of the bento boxes my mother used to make. Nasi Goreng comes with blanched vegetables topped with peanut sauce, vermicelli soup with nam pla, and miso-glazed chicken. The Jasmine rice, which is the specialty, was flavorful and the fried egg added a mild taste. It was spicy but had a rich flavor that even Japanese people would enjoy. Next time, I want to try Nasi Campur.

I had the Nasi Goreng. There were about four lunch options available, and I originally wanted a variety of side dishes, but when I arrived around 12:30, they were already sold out. The Nasi Goreng had some sweet sauce on the meat, and the rice was well seasoned, giving it an authentic taste. I was satisfied with the generous portion of rice, and some men even ordered the large size.

I went to eat Indonesian food at a restaurant in Omotesando. The restaurant is on the second floor, and you have to climb a narrow staircase to get there. The restroom is located outside the restaurant. There are counter seats and table seats, but the space is not very large, so it's best to arrive early if you have a specific menu in mind. They tend to sell out of dishes later in the day. I ordered the Nasi Champur for 1,000 yen. The salad with Gado Gado sauce was delicious, and the chicken soup with glass noodles had a mild flavor. The Nasi Champur was a plate with various side dishes like satay, slightly spicy chicken, and vegetables. I enjoyed mixing and eating them together. Some dishes were a bit spicy, but everything was delicious. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Today, I had a meal with a junior colleague who just returned from Vietnam. During their stay in Vietnam, they didn't keep in touch at all, but we still enjoyed eating Nasi Goreng together. It was a bit disappointing, but funny. As always, it was delicious. Although curry is tempting, Nasi Goreng is still the best choice. Thank you for the meal! 😊

On a rainy and humid day, I suddenly craved Indonesian food and decided to go to "Buri Made" for lunch. Unfortunately, the "Nasi Campur" I wanted to order was sold out since it was close to closing time. Instead, I tried the "Curry Babbi," which is a Balinese-style pork curry. It had chunks of pork and a good amount of spices. It was sweet but also had a mix of sourness and spiciness, making it delicious! The cost performance was also good, and overall it was a very convenient and tasty restaurant.

The lunch at Brimade is delicious as always. I usually have the Nasi Goreng, but today I tried their new menu item, curry. It has a hint of coconut flavor and the braised pork is delicious. I mixed it with the spicy red sauce and couldn't stop eating. Thank you for the wonderful meal! (^_^)

At night, Brimade's course menu is first of all, too cost-effective! Recommended 7 dishes plus senbei and dessert for an amazing 3000 yen!! You can try all the representative dishes, so it's recommended if it's your first time at Brimade at night. However, it's mainly meat and fried food with no rice, so you might get really full with the generous portions. You can add your favorite items to the course, but it might be difficult to do so unless you're really hungry. Unlike the crowded lunchtime with chatty office ladies, the atmosphere is calmer at night, with a higher Balinese and Indonesian vibe, which is really nice. Also, the wife's gentle smile that you don't see during lunchtime is reassuring.

It was my first time, so I decided to go for the course menu! The shrimp senbei is definitely a winner ✨ I love it ❤️ The sauce that comes with it is delicious ✨ The boiled vegetables with peanut sauce have a nostalgic taste. The fried spring rolls, I tried them with the shrimp senbei sauce, but they are best with mustard. The fried tempeh was my first time trying it, it has a strong bean flavor and feels healthy. The seasoning of the chicken meatballs is quite strong. When it started to feel a bit heavy, I refreshed with the chicken and glass noodle soup ✨ The Balinese-style pork belly makes me crave rice, so I wait for the Nasi Goreng ✨ The Nasi Goreng made with Indonesian rice is light and fluffy, and I'm happy with the generous portion. The dishes came out at a good pace and were all delicious. I would like to try them a la carte next time.

Menu:

Overall:
The quality is so good that you will want to eat two servings for two people! (laughs) In other words, it's a place where you'll want to eat two servings.

Buri Made offers authentic Balinese and Indonesian cuisine. Located a 3-minute walk from Omotesando Station. Opened in 2009, with the owner, Made Sugita, hailing from Bali. All sauces, such as sambal and gado-gado, are homemade. Sambal is a spicy condiment in Indonesian and Malay cuisine, while gado-gado sauce is a sweet and spicy peanut sauce. Their signature dish is the Sambal Seafood with rice, priced at 1,000 yen (includes soup, salad, and iced Javanese tea). The seafood is a frozen mix but tastes great with the long-grain rice. The portion size for the large serving is generous. They also serve Balinese coffee, which is rustic and fruity. The atmosphere inside is stylish with a cozy Asian vibe, and the service is standard. Overall, a place where you look forward to trying the rest of the menu as each dish is enjoyable.

Buri Made is a great place to enjoy high-quality Balinese and Indonesian cuisine. Located just a 3-minute walk from Gaienmae Station, it opened in 2009 and is owned by Made Sugita from Bali. They make all their sauces in-house, including sambal and gado-gado sauce.
Gado-gado sauce is a sweet and spicy peanut sauce. One recommended dish is the Nasi Champur Bali, a set of various side dishes served with rice, priced at 1,000 yen including soup, salad, and iced Javanese tea (extra 100 yen for a large portion). Each dish is meticulously prepared, and the large portion is quite filling.
Bali Coffee (hot) is another popular item, priced at 200 yen. It has a simple and fruity flavor, served in a generous portion. The Bali Coffee tradition involves letting the coffee grounds settle at the bottom of the cup, then pouring off the top layer to drink without stirring in the settled grounds.
The restaurant has a stylish Asian atmosphere and provides standard customer service. Overall, it is a hit restaurant with excellent and meticulous cooking. It is definitely worth visiting, and you can't go wrong with this choice.

I wanted to have an Asian lunch, so I looked it up and visited a restaurant. It was a bit of a walk from Gaienmae Station, and as I walked along a big road, I found the restaurant. The restaurant was on the second floor, so I climbed the stairs to the entrance on the first floor. There was a sign at the entrance, so I climbed the stairs next to it. At the top of the stairs, there was the entrance, and inside was a restaurant with Asian-style interior. There were a counter and small tables for two lined up, and I waited a bit after they cleared the counter. I had decided in advance that I wanted to eat Nasi Goreng, but I was intrigued by the various dishes on the lunch menu. When I asked if it was like Nasi Goreng, they said it was not, but a menu where toppings were placed on rice, so I ordered Nasi Goreng. There was a kitchen behind the counter, and I could see a bit of the cooking process. After waiting for a while, a salad arrived. It had a brown dressing, and when I tasted it, it had a nutty flavor. When the Nasi Goreng dish arrived, it had shrimp crackers, grilled skewers, and a fried egg on top. When I roughly mixed it, it tasted like a slightly sweet fried rice with a hint of spice. I could also smell the spices, making it feel like a dish from a foreign country. Mixing the fried egg in a little made it creamy, and adding the shrimp crackers gave it a crispy texture. The shrimp crackers were light and crispy even when eaten separately, and they were delicious. It was a satisfying lunch, and I thought it was nice to have a different kind of meal once in a while. Thank you for the meal.

There were a few foreigners at the restaurant, and I thought they might be from Indonesia. The entrance was hard to find, but once inside, it was packed for lunchtime. I had Nasi Goreng for the first time in a while, and it was delicious. The photos look blue because of the green sunshade at the restaurant, making everything appear blue.

I struggled between daikon and pork belly curry, but in the end, I went with the Sambal seafood curry and it was delicious! To enjoy a relaxing lunch at Burimade, I had to arrive right at the 11:30 am opening time since I always end up ordering a large portion due to coming on an empty stomach. Today's lunch was great as always, with excellent taste and value for money. However, after 12 pm, the place gets filled with chatty office ladies and it's hard to relax. If you want to savor the taste and ambiance leisurely, then evening visits would be better.

I love this restaurant, but after 12 o'clock, it gets crowded with chatty office ladies who ignore the taste of the food and the efficiency of the staff, making it uncomfortable. For those who want to enjoy the lovely atmosphere and food of this place, I recommend going for lunch at the opening time. I always used to go for the Sambal Seafood, but the new menu item, Pork Belly and Daikon Curry, is also delicious! I will definitely come back for lunch at the opening time again.

I went to the evening session of "Brimade," an Indonesian restaurant on Killer Street in Kita-Aoyama! Unlike the lively atmosphere during the day, the evening was cozy! First, we toasted with the representative Indonesian beer "Bintang"! We started with a "vermicelli salad" and "fried spring rolls." They were decent. Then, in the middle, we had to have some "satay"! When eating Indonesian food, you can't miss out on "satay"! I've had the chicken satay for lunch many times, so this time I chose "chicken meatballs" and "shrimp"! The satay was nicely grilled and the peanut sauce was delicious! The "Balinese-style fried chicken" dipped in sweet and spicy sauce went perfectly with the beer! We finished off with "Nasi Goreng" and it was just enough to fill our stomachs! I was satisfied with the homely atmosphere of the restaurant - it's a great place to dine!
