If you're a salaryman in Tokyo, you may have heard of Kushi Hachin. I've been to the Otemachi branch a couple of times, but I didn't have a great impression, so I tended to avoid the Tenjin Ginza branch. This time, we decided to drink early in Tenjin Ginza, and there was someone who had never been to Kushi Hachin before, so we visited the Tenjin branch for the first time. The restaurant has few table seats and many counter seats. I was pleasantly surprised by the daikon salad served as a complimentary dish. Looking at the menu, I was surprised that the skewers were more expensive than I had imagined, but there were some interesting items, so we ordered a variety of dishes to try. We ordered natto roll skewers, quail bacon rolls, grilled chicken thigh, chicken tail, green onion with chicken, zoolan shish kebab, and ham cutlet. Among the unique items, the way the manager cooked them was excellent, with just the right amount of grilling. I would like to visit again if I feel like drinking early.

I had some time and was looking for a shop when I came across this place. It was located in the Jūjō Ginza shopping street, so I decided to go in. I was glad to see that they were open early. Inside, I noticed that there were many elderly regular customers at the counter. It seems like this place is loved by the locals. I wasn't very hungry, but I ordered some yakitori. It was brought to me relatively quickly and I tried it. The taste was okay, it was quite delicious. The prices were also very reasonable, which was nice. Thank you for the meal!

About 10 years ago, I used to frequent a different branch of this restaurant. The staff would always greet me and when a table opened up, they would move me from the counter to a table. It was a fun time with a mix of nostalgia and new experiences. The skewers were consistently good. I would love to go back again.

I absolutely love the bell pepper-wrapped meat skewers at Kushihacchun. They are so satisfying and delicious! The portion size is great and they have a nice texture. I also enjoy their potato salad. The skewers are always a safe choice! It's a great place to go alone or with friends. They also offer takeout, so it's fun to enjoy a drink while waiting for your order to be ready.

On this day, we visited this restaurant that we found on the way. (As of December 6, 2020, 3.01 points) I often visit Kushi Hachin at the Shinjuku store, but I see that they have opened a store in Jujo as well. The location is just a 1-2 minute walk from JR Saikyo Line Jujo Station North Exit. It is on the first floor and has a bright and welcoming atmosphere. There are counter seats near the entrance, and you can also drink here. I don't mind this style. There are no steps at the entrance, so you can enter smoothly. Inside the restaurant, there is a counter seat that goes around to the right, and tables in the back. The interior of the restaurant is small. The table seats were full, so I sat at the counter seat. The menu includes drinks such as Hoppy and the shop's traditional shochu highball called "Lark," as well as sours and various other options. They also have sake, shochu, and other drink choices, so you can enjoy a variety of drinks. For food, they offer unique dishes like the Natto Maki Skewer and Green Pepper Cheese Pork Roll, as well as regular yakitori and yakiton. They also have fried foods, salads, and simmered tripe, among other options. I noticed later that the store's format may be different, as yakisoba is not included in the menu for closing dishes, which was disappointing since it's a menu item I always order. I started with a Hoppy set. For snacks, I ordered macaroni salad and various skewers. The Natto Maki Skewer is a must-have dish. The skewers come out in a good order. The staff seems to include experienced and inexperienced members, so there may be some variation in the timing of serving, but the ordered items are delivered properly, which is satisfactory. - Taste Evaluation - Natto Maki Skewer: One of the shop's original classic skewers. Natto is mixed with minced meat, wrapped in seaweed, and grilled. This flavor is addictive, so I always order it. Green Pepper Cheese Pork Roll: Another one of the shop's original classic skewers. Green peppers are stuffed with cheese and wrapped in pork belly. This is really delicious. Green Onion and Pork Skewer: The green onion and pork skewer is perfectly cooked and delicious. The saltiness is just right. Macaroni Salad: It's a classic type, but it's packed with plenty of vegetables. It's a dish I always want to have a little bit of. - Overall Evaluation - I think this restaurant is still in the process of establishing itself, but I'm happy to have found a favorite restaurant for the second round in Jujo, where there are mostly Chinese restaurants for the second round. I will visit again.

Natto skewers? Tempura? I was surprised to see those here and there, but here they have natto meatballs! So delicious!! Also, noteworthy are the cheese-stuffed meat-wrapped bell peppers and cherry tomatoes, and boiled peanuts! They were delicious.

I was able to leave work early this day, so I decided to go out for drinks with my friend in Jujo! We went to a yakitori restaurant called "Kushihacchin" which is about a 2-minute walk from Jujo Station. It's known for its good cost performance. It was my first time visiting Kushihacchin. I didn't take many photos of the food, but we ordered quite a few skewers. They serve a spicy miso sauce with yuzu pepper, which goes really well with the yakitori. It's delicious! I will definitely come back again!

Today, I decided to visit Jujo for some errands and decided to explore Jujo Ginza, which I had heard about. Of course, I was also looking for a place where I could have a drink. When I exited the north exit of Jujo Station and turned right, I saw an arcade called "Jujo Ginza" in the back. The atmosphere was lively with local people bustling around. Jujo Ginza turned out to be quite a long shopping street. As I walked a bit further down East Street from Jujo Ginza Arcade, I noticed a sign that said "You can drink from 2 PM!" in front of a shop. There were tables outside where you could sit and drink. Intrigued, I decided to step inside. Inside, there was a U-shaped counter with tables at the back. It was a cozy little place. I was seated at the counter and ordered a black Hoppy and some skewers and thick grilled egg. The owner, a man, was focused on grilling while the two young Asian women were handling the cooking. Their friendly and attentive service made me feel welcomed. The skewers were a bit tough but tasted great with the special miso sauce. I also tried a dessert called "Shingen Ice," which was like Shingen Mochi with ice cream and black honey on top. It was delicious and I couldn't resist finishing it quickly. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made this place special. There was a rival izakaya opening on the same street, but this place had a warmth and charm that set it apart. Jujo Ginza had other standing bars and eateries that looked promising too. Overall, my first visit to Jujo Ginza was enjoyable and I had a great time.

Before visiting Sake Lab Tokyo, I stopped by for a quick drink to adjust my schedule. It's a valuable place that opens from lunchtime. I ordered some meat-wrapped cheese-stuffed peppers and tsukune, along with some potato fries as snacks. I kept drinking the shochu highball menu item called "Lark" the whole time. I'm not sure what "Lark" means, but it was refreshing and delicious. After about an hour, I headed to Sake Lab Tokyo. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived at the restaurant for a second round with a coworker after work. We had a course for the first round, so we made a reservation to supplement a bit (skewers + carbonated drinks). Both of us love liver, so we ordered hoppy with a variety of skewers including grilled liver, and some potato fries with skin on. The grilled liver had a nice bounce on the outside and juicy on the inside, which paired perfectly with the carbonated drinks. My coworker wanted more, so we ordered extra (haha). The potato fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Whether you want to leisurely drink at the first spot or quickly supplement what's lacking at the second spot, it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance as some places may not accept walk-ins depending on the time.

A restaurant that takes 35 minutes to make negima and tsukune. They prioritize customers who keep calling the staff, even if they ordered later. The food was delicious, but it's frustrating, so I won't go there again.

I visited this place for the second round of day drinking with my friend. It was my first time visiting the Kushihacchin in Tateshi store. I started with a traditional drink called "Rak" (350 yen), which was refreshing yet had a strong taste of alcohol, very delicious. The daikon radish with ponzu sauce served as an appetizer. I just found out that refills are free, so I can enjoy it without hesitation. For the main skewers, I followed my friend's recommendation and tried the grilled liver, which was a superb dish with a good amount of fat. The tongue was also enjoyable with a nice texture, and my excitement level rose even more. I had some pickles as a palate cleanser, and I couldn't resist getting more daikon radish. Next, I tried the harami, which was also delicious. For snacks, I ordered tamagoyaki and thick fried tofu. The thick fried tofu was served hot and fresh from the fryer. The counter, which was sparsely populated when we arrived, was almost full by the time we left. This indicates the high popularity of the place. This was my second visit to Kushihacchin after the Tateshi store, and I realized how great it is, so I am likely to visit other locations in the future.
