Towards the end of last year, this place moved from the first floor entrance of Tokyu Food Show to the second floor. Compared to the busy first floor entrance, the second floor is more peaceful and allows you to carefully select sweets from the showcase. I tried the Pecan Nut Buttercream Cake for 540 yen. After letting it rest in the fridge, I took a bite and enjoyed the combination of firm texture and creamy filling. The buttercream is flavorful yet light on the palate, with a hint of rum adding depth to the taste.

I was planning to buy traditional Japanese sweets, but I ended up cheating on them with some baked goods (*^^*)ゞ【Red Koji Sablé, around $80】Crunchy and crispy, with a delightful texture♡ I can't really taste the red koji flavor, but I'm sure it's used in the fermentation of the dough.【Stick Financier (Chocolate), around $200】The world is already in Halloween mode (lol) Crunchy and juicy, with a straightforward chocolate flavor.

This is a gift, but I tried the cookie assortment. It had a good balance and comforting taste. It's not too fancy or crumbly, but rather a moist and solid cookie. It's not too sweet, so I could enjoy it with Japanese tea instead of black tea. It has a universal appeal that doesn't cater to a specific age group.

There is a supermarket located in one corner of Furel Tokyu. Since it is inside a supermarket, there is a ramp, and the store is barrier-free. Many people with wheelchairs or strollers often visit, so it's convenient for shopping. Some people carry the store's basket like Sazae-san, but let's consider the perspective of children in strollers or people in wheelchairs. Now, they have cute wrapped baked goods and fresh cakes here. There are various types of cakes, including jelly, but I like cream puffs. Using the best ingredients without lying about them is the passion of Peti Fleur since its establishment. They try to avoid using additives as much as possible. They may have a rustic charm like a local cake shop, but I would recommend this place over cakes that cost nearly a thousand yen each, as they put in a lot of effort. Thank you for the meal, I will visit again.

I had a delicious cake after a long time! It was really tasty. It was a mango fruit cake! It was almost all mango! There was so much mango that I was completely satisfied! It was so delicious that I couldn't get enough of it! I highly recommend this cake! The sweetness was also mild and it had a nice balance with the deliciousness of the mango! The plate says "Congratulations on your marriage!" but I'm not actually married! Haha! There's a reason for that! Haha! I would like to try another cake at this shop next time!

When you come out of Jiyugaoka Station North Exit in Tokyo, turn right and go straight. Turn right at the end and cross the tracks, the supermarket building is right there on the first floor. I was looking for a cake at 9pm, but everywhere was closed except for this place which was just about to close. I had a slice of shortcake, it had a refreshing taste with a slightly nostalgic flavor. The price was reasonable, around 500 yen for a slice of shortcake.

This was my first time purchasing from this cake shop. I used to just pass by without noticing it, but this time a small slice of cake caught my eye with a Santa Claus figure on top, looking at me. It was so cute that I couldn't resist buying it. They also had Snoopy-themed pudding with a mug, all decorated with Christmas holly. The prices were a bit high, but I still bought them. The shop seems to have multiple locations in Kanagawa Prefecture and offers various items with attention to detail. I checked their website and found that they usually provide reasonably priced items. I later read reviews and saw that many people, including MyRebiew, gave high ratings. I purchased the Snoopy mug with pudding, which was delicious when eaten with strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi. I also bought the Christmas chocolate with Santa, strawberries, and holly, although I haven't tried it yet. The only downside was that the items were not packed properly in the box, causing the Santa figure on the pudding mug to get squished. It's understandable, especially during this busy season.

Royal milk tea jelly for ¥486 including tax. It has a nice balance of tea aroma and sweetness. The shiny appearance of the jelly looks refreshing. The milk and tea parts are layered, so I want to eat them together by scooping vertically with a spoon, but it's a bit difficult not to spill.

The original Mont Blanc with candied chestnuts as toppings has been gone from the showcase for a while. In its place, it seems to have been replaced by the following: "Mont Blanc Royale, ¥551" - Yum! The flavor of Western chestnuts is lovely! It seems to be flavored with some kind of Western liquor... maybe a good rum?! This adds depth to the taste. There are pieces of candied chestnuts not only on top but also inside. Quite a luxurious creation! The base has a crunchy and fluffy texture, adding a nice touch. This type is also delicious! "Lemon Mousse, around ¥500" - A lemon-flavored mousse dessert. The refreshing acidity of the lemon is nice, but the mousse is a bit too thick, perhaps due to a lot of gelatin, making it take a while to melt in the mouth. The chocolate mousse in the center is small in quantity, and I doubted if it really matched the lemon flavor. If it's citrus, orange goes much better with chocolate. Overall rating: ☆3.8

The other day, I went to Jiyugaoka and bought some cookies at Petits Fours Jiyugaoka store. It seems to be a Western-style confectionery shop in Kamiooka, Yokohama. I think I may have bought something there before ❤️ It is located next to Tokyu Store along the street, and I couldn't help but be drawn to the cute sweets. The chocolate chip cookies were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, very delicious. I was able to buy some sweets for my friends too, so it was great ❤️

The prices are reasonable. They sell baked sweets and chocolates, but I opted for a fresh cake with cute decorations. The taste was not too sweet, just right. The cookies are quite cheap and perfect for personal use.

It was delicious. If you don't buy the parking for 3000 yen, it costs 1000 yen. However, they offered it as a service when we left in 10 minutes.

Chestnut Mont Blanc (¥454): Start by tasting the sweetened chestnuts on top, followed by the string of chestnut paste. The unique rich sweetness is still present. I wonder if they use different sugar? The yellow Mont Blanc is supposed to be made by straining the sweetened chestnuts to create the chestnut string, so the secret to its unique sweetness must lie in how the sweetened chestnuts are made.

I read Myrebi's report and decided to stop by this shop because the cheesecake seemed to suit my taste. The shop is located in the space right in front of the entrance to Jiyugaoka Frell from the station side. I also bought some groceries at Tokyu Store and then got a cake to go from this shop (*^^*) The main store seems to be in Yokohama. The prices seem to be the same as in Yokohama, so I was happy with the pricing that was not typical of Jiyugaoka. There were many baked goods on display, and girls were browsing through them. When I looked into the showcase, I saw many classic cakes like those from an old-fashioned local cake shop. It brought back memories of my childhood cake shop visits, and I felt very nostalgic. They even had sweets in Doraemon pottery, which was very down-to-earth and nice (*'▽')b Since the Mont Blanc I was looking for was not available, I only bought the cheesecake. The cheesecake (¥378) had a basic appearance. It was like the cheaper ones you often see, but without jam spread on top. You often see those in rural supermarkets, but I rarely encounter them in Tokyo (;・∀・) The evenly browned surface was baked firmly and had a fine texture, so I thought it would have a fluffy, bubbly texture, but when I put the fork in, it was surprisingly firm. It maintained a moderate firmness, allowing you to feel the weight of the cream cheese, and as you eat it, it melts and has an excellent texture. It's like a souffle, but not 100% souffle! The combination of meringue and cheese is exquisite! ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ The refreshing acidity of the cream cheese lingers, and the bottom part is a thin sponge, delivering an elegant sweetness. This is a taste that I really like! I definitely want to come back for this basic cheesecake! Jiyugaoka has many well-known patisseries with high standards, but this shop, conveniently located near the station and with reasonable prices, is also recommended. I only had the cheesecake, so it's hard to give a complete evaluation, but as a basic cheesecake, it had a very good mouthfeel with just the right amount of refreshing sweetness, plenty of cheese flavor, and above all, at this price (!), the taste was quite impressive. In terms of Jiyugaoka's atmosphere, it may lack a bit of luxury, but if you're wondering what sweets to have today, it's worth trying out this unpretentious cake shop once in a while (^O^)-☆

October 2016: I chose the cheesecake (¥378) because the browning looked even and delicious. The first thing you notice is the refreshing lemon acidity. The texture is slightly grainy at first, but quickly melts and becomes smooth. The acidity of the cream cheese enhances the flavor in combination with the lemon acidity. September 2016: In the chestnut season, I decided to revisit my favorite dessert after a year. I ordered the chestnut Mont Blanc (¥454). The chestnut paste string is made by squeezing chestnuts that have been candied, and I think a flavored syrup that enhances the sweetness of the chestnuts is added as a secret ingredient. I can't figure out what flavor it is, so I'll ask the staff next time. October 2015: I revisited after a long time. I ordered the chestnut Mont Blanc (¥432) again. It's still delicious. The flavored syrup added to the chestnut paste string is still a mystery. I'll ask next time! March 2015: I found a delicious sweet treat! I ordered the chestnut Mont Blanc (¥432). The amber color is classic, but the cross-shaped arrangement of chestnuts is modern. The candied chestnuts are carefully prepared. The chestnut paste string is made by squeezing candied chestnuts, and a flavored syrup is added as a secret ingredient, making it rich and delicious. The base is a finely textured sponge roll cake. The combination of the creamy chestnut, sponge cake, and flavored cream is harmonious and very delicious. I liked it so much that I ordered three in a row over two days. Apple pie (around ¥350): The pie crust and apple compote are well-made, but there could have been more apples towards the edges. A bit disappointing! Cream puff (around ¥300): The whipped custard has a nice flavor added to it. Recommended! Overall, the chestnut Mont Blanc and cream puff are highly recommended. Definitely worth trying!

"When you hear 'Mont Blanc,' you think of chestnuts, right? So, do we really need to say 'chestnut' in front of it? I have a bad habit of being picky about small details. Another bad habit of mine is using lines from Detective Sugiura. If something bothers me, I can't help but look it up - that's another bad habit of mine. So, as usual, I did a little research on 'Mont Blanc.' 'Mont Blanc' is defined as a cake made with plenty of chestnuts. It is named after its resemblance to a mountain. The Mont Blanc mountain in the Alps is undoubtedly the origin of its name. In French, it means 'white mountain.' Therefore, in France, it is called 'Mont Blanc aux Marrons.' Translated, it means 'Chestnut Mont Blanc.' Oh! That's a surprisingly satisfying conclusion! So, it's the official name in France. It's getting me really excited! If we consider the location of Jiyugaoka... it must be an authentic 'Mont Blanc'! Many of you may already know, but 'Mont Blanc' was born in Jiyugaoka, Japan. Its history dates back to 1933. The first owner of 'Mont Blanc' encountered it during a trip to France. So, Jiyugaoka and 'Mont Blanc' have a surprisingly deep connection. However, this time I bought a 'Chestnut Mont Blanc' from 'Petit Fleur,' which has its main store in Yokohama. This shop is located right in front of the main entrance of 'Fleur Avec Jiyugaoka.' The display and uniforms are cute, making you forget that you're in a supermarket. However, the customer service is average, reminding you that you are indeed in a supermarket. But the pricing is reasonable compared to other Western confectionery shops in Jiyugaoka. The 'Chestnut Mont Blanc' mentioned at the beginning costs 432 yen. I also bought a 'Melon Jelly' for the same price, totaling 864 yen. Considering the price, I think it's quite delicious. Sometimes, it's nice to think about having a 'Mont Blanc.' Overall, I recommend it. It's priced affordably for children's snacks!"

There is a cake and sweets shop on the first floor of the building where Tokyu Store in Jiyugaoka is located. The shop is small, and the window display is filled with cute sweets. I bought some cookies and a Florentine-like pastry. The cookies are delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. The Florentine has a nice honey flavor. I think this shop offers good value for money. It's a great place to buy souvenirs too.

This is a new Western confectionery store located at the front entrance of Fleurir Avec Jiyugaoka. They sell cakes, baked goods, and more. I purchased the Framboise (399 yen) and the Rare Cheesecake (399 yen). They are about 20% cheaper than other stores. The Framboise is a colorful mousse cake with strawberry jam inside, giving it a sweet and tangy flavor. It looks great and tastes delicious. The Rare Cheesecake uses cream cheese and has a light and fluffy texture. The whipped cream on top was a bit too much and overly sweet. The balance was not quite right. The cookie base was firm and hard to cut through. This seems to be a Western confectionery store mainly located in Yokohama. The affordable prices are definitely a plus.
