Soft and fluffy pudding a la mode with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The pudding is delightfully bouncy and creamy, with a touch of cream cheese that adds richness and a subtle flavor. It's dense and satisfyingly rich.

The variety of coffee options is quite extensive, and they are carefully hand-dripped for serving. You can also purchase coffee beans starting from 100g, so you can leisurely enjoy a cup in the shop and buy your favorite beans to take home. I visited around 3pm, and the shop was about 80% full and bustling. They also offer a wide range of food and dessert menu options.

Located about a 5-minute walk from the south exit of Katsushika Station on the Tozai Line, this cafe is situated in a quiet residential area run by the owner couple who roast their own coffee. They opened in the summer of 2019 and have a wide variety of beans available, including Panama's 'Geisha', as well as beans from Colombia, Brazil, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and more. With the increase in the amount of coffee consumed at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this cafe is a delight for coffee fans. The owner carefully explains the different flavors and characteristics of the beans and recommends based on the customer's preferences. I personally love the shop's blends like 'Dark' and 'Amber', as well as the single origin Brazil 'Tomio Fukuda'. The homemade hotcakes by the owner's wife and other pastries like Florentine are delicious and pair well with the coffee. The atmosphere and background music in the shop are calming. I visit regularly and also order beans online.

It's about a 7-minute walk from Katsushika Station. The shop is located in a residential area. It's a coffee specialty store that sells beans roasted in-house. There are large canisters of beans lined up between the kitchen and the cafe area. I think there were about six 2-seater tables and two or three 4-seater tables. I've visited a few times and often see customers enjoying coffee and conversation leisurely. The Virgo Neapolitan costs 700 yen, and coffee is 600 yen. The Neapolitan doesn't have a special feel, but that's okay! It's a coffee specialty shop that offers light meals. The ingredients are onion and sausage with a fried egg on top, giving a slightly luxurious feeling if you were to eat it at home. In addition to potato salad, the lettuce was dressed with onion dressing. The coffee is the shop's blend. I asked for it after the meal. It has a light bitterness, and as I drank it, it reminded me of the elegant image of black tea. The coffee cup is thin, and the way it smoothly flows into the mouth somehow left an impression on me. Perhaps because I don't usually drink from such cups!笑

It seems that there was a seismic shift in the coffee world during the one year break from Tabelog. The name causing this buzz is Anaerobic. Anaerobic refers to the refining method of coffee beans, involving anaerobic fermentation (I don't really understand it). Located about a 5-minute walk from Kasai Station, this calm shop is situated in a residential area. In addition to selling coffee, they have a spacious cafe space, and the interior was bustling with locals enjoying delicious-looking lunches. I tried the rumored Anaerobic coffee. Clear flavor, with a clear aftertaste, meaning it's light. To put it rudely, it's a full-bodied amount, tasting like a high-quality coffee extracted for the second cup. It has a clean bitterness in the aftertaste, reminiscent of green tea rather than black tea, without the usual fruity or harsh aftertaste found in natural coffees. The lemongrass flavor mentioned may be a characteristic of these beans or Anaerobic coffee in general, but I'm not sure. According to a coffee expert reviewer, Anaerobic coffees are known for their fruity notes, so I'll try something different next time. I also had three pancake-sized bagels. These were straightforward and delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness to complement the coffee. Anaerobic. Perhaps it's a more enchanting world than its name suggests. (The shop has a wide selection of coffee beans, a range of prices, and is very appealing as a coffee shop.)

There are several shops in Kasai where you can buy coffee beans, but recently I often buy from Otomezasan here. I have used various shops, but this one is the best. Today, I purchased Geisha beans. It's a natural Geisha from the Auro Maal Aurora Farm in Panama, 200g for 5,900 yen. This price is slightly cheaper than the market price. Today, thanks to the 30% PayPay back in Edogawa Ward, I got 1,770 yen back, so I got a great deal. The beans were quite hard as they were lightly roasted, but they were ground for me. The taste was rich and full-bodied, with various flavors. It really changes your concept of coffee taste. I bought a washed one last time, but today's natural one was much better. I wonder how much it would cost to drink at the shop? (laughs) This shop is really convenient. I'm so happy that a shop like this opened in Kasai.

Pervert is a compliment. When perverted to the extreme, it's cute. This place, which looks like a karaoke cafe near Kasai Station, has an abnormal variety of beans on offer. There are probably over 20 types. I wonder if they kept buying things that caught their interest at auctions and ended up accumulating so many. What a pervert. I ordered various items. · Eat-in Pancake Costa Rica Natural Bunny Metal · Beans Ethiopia Anaerobic Bunny Metal In conclusion, I think this is the best bean museum in East Tokyo. You're sure to find your favorite here. The pancakes are of the old-school type. They go well with fruit-based coffee. Costa Rica Natural D is like drinking fruit juice. It's not bitter or sour, but has a refreshing acidity. It can also be described as bright. Bunny Metal is not commonly seen, but when I tried it, it turned out to be a really delicious bean. It's sweet and tasty with a hint of herbs and flowers in the background. It looks normal, but it's like wearing slightly quirky clothes. I still love Mocha beans. Ethiopia Anaerobic. Anaerobic fermentation, an innovative process that seems to be hot in Central and South America. I was told that another roaster has something like this, but this was the first time I saw it in a store. And in Ethiopia? I had to try it. As soon as I opened the pack, I could smell a mix of rum and chocolate. It's like a chocolate treat for autumn and winter, reminiscent of rum. When pouring hot water, it smelled like almonds. When I tasted it, at first it was like muscat grapes, but as it cooled down, it turned into strawberry. It's so confusing, but I love it. Highly recommended for those who want to embark on a journey to find beans.

This pudding has a surprising twist - it's a rich pudding with cream cheese inside. Despite its cute appearance, it's actually quite firm when you dig in. The gentle texture is a delightful surprise, offering a new and unique flavor. The contrast is amazing!
Bastille
A classic favorite with a crispy exterior and a gooey, perfectly cooked center. It's a must-try!
Baked Rare Cheese
Moist and tender with a gentle, fluffy sweetness. Made with tonka beans, it has a sweet aroma reminiscent of almond. A new and delightful flavor!
Pair these with the deep-roasted Mandheling coffee for a perfect match! Highly recommended!

This coffee roastery cafe opened on August 5, 2019, and has quickly become a popular spot for locals to relax and enjoy. It's no wonder it's so loved - the sweets and coffee are delicious! Even on a weekday afternoon, it's bustling with customers. The combination of tasty treats and great coffee is definitely a winning formula!

This is a coffee shop located in a residential area about a 5-minute walk from Katsushika Station. When I passed by the front of the store before, I smelled the good aroma of coffee, so I visited later. It was around 11:45 am on a Sunday, and almost all the 2-seater tables x 5 and 4-seater tables x 2 were occupied. Luckily, a table became available and I sat down. Thankfully, the morning menu was available until 12 pm. I ordered the Hotcake (¥650) from the morning menu with a drink of Virgo Blend Premium. It took about 20 minutes to be served (there was a prior notice about the wait time). The Hotcake, along with the drink, came with roast ham, premium boiled egg, homemade potato salad, and marinated mushrooms. As an old man, I'm not sure about the difference between pancakes and hotcakes, but the Hotcake had a fluffy texture and just the right amount of sweetness, bringing back nostalgic feelings. The salad, ham, marinated mushrooms, and boiled egg were also delicious. The coffee had a rich flavor and a pleasant taste. I could feel the dedication in the coffee despite being an amateur. This content is fantastic! It's no wonder the place was almost full. The Virgo Blend Premium is usually ¥600! The morning menu is much appreciated.

Today, I had breakfast at this coffee shop which roasts their own beans. I just noticed this place yesterday, even though it has been open for a year. The location is a bit odd, about 500m from the station according to Google Maps. It's twice the distance from Komeda, located 250m away. It's not exactly a prime spot, more of a residential area. Is it worth the trip? Well, if you can have this coffee, then yes, it's worth the extra 250m walk from Komeda. They offer a wide variety of coffee choices for their breakfast menu. I tried the 650 yen hotcake breakfast. Today, I went for the blend coffee. The breakfast included ham, potato salad, marinated mushrooms, boiled egg, and hotcakes. Quite a satisfying meal. And the blend coffee was carefully brewed. 650 yen is a good deal. The trendy BGM added to the ambiance. I'll definitely be coming back here often. I'm happy to have a place to enjoy good coffee in Kasai. The locals are lucky to have this nearby.

It seems difficult to enter at first, but the inside of the shop is spacious and comfortable. You can upgrade to a morning set by adding 250 yen to your coffee. There are about 30 different types of coffee to choose from. I would like to go there again.

Finally, Tabelog has published it. I've been waiting for this shop to be listed. It's a cafe run by a couple. What's nice is the strong love for coffee beans from the husband. The light meals come with coffee, so it may seem a bit expensive. Lunch starts from 1000 yen. But personally, I really like the taste. Today's set was Tomato Stew (with meatballs) + Drink for 1000 yen + 200 yen (additional charge for coffee rank). This month, I'm saying goodbye to my workplace in Kasai area, so I'm using it as a farewell. Today, I splurged and chose "Geisha." The coffee beans at this shop are labeled with their place of origin. When I told the husband my preference, he answered politely. "Geisha" is priced at 800 yen and 1000 yen per cup. It was something I had been longing for. I think it's worth it for morning or lunch. Morning service is available until 12:00. It's 650 yen for toast or mini pancakes with salad and boiled eggs on one plate. They changed the boiled egg to a fried egg at my request. They also sell raw eggs. Of course, they also sell coffee beans. You can also take drinks to go. If you arrive before 11:00, you can have lunch and a light morning snack with coffee. There are no rice dishes, but there are hot sandwiches, Napolitan, toast with light snacks, and baked goods available. The amount may be insufficient for men. The husband's detailed coffee talk is enjoyable at this shop. It's easygoing without any pressure. You might find the coffee a bit weak, so it's worth asking if you can adjust the strength. It would be interesting to have coffee made with lightly roasted beans if available. It's a shop on the first floor with a snack bar on the second floor along the road of Kasai Sanfujinka, about two blocks away. It's located in the alley between Mini Stop and the park. It's easy to spot because of the flag waving. Closed on Thursdays, open from 9:00 to 19:00. WIFI available. In October 2020, I still think it's a good cafe, so I raised my rating. Additional note from January 2021, from 3.5 to 4.1. From June 2021, it seems that the regular holidays are now on Mondays and Tuesdays. On Twitter, they also serve delicious-looking desserts. I would like to visit again.
