The main floor offers modern Spanish cuisine courses, which are very popular. However, we heard that the bar space is also recommended, so we decided to visit with friends on a day when it seemed to be not too crowded (no reservations allowed). We arrived early and, as planned, the counter bar area was empty. The counter is located near the entrance, but the spacious area, along with the soft feel and pleasant smell of the wooden counter, created a very calming atmosphere. The first impression was really good. We quickly looked at the menu and ordered a sherry for a toast and some tapas. The drinks were around 700 yen for wine or beer, and even a bottle of wine was under 4000 yen. Unlike the main floor's course menu, the classical tapas menu was available, and surprisingly, we could order pintxos for 385 yen each (they were of high quality and not cheap at all, as shown in the photos). Other menu items ranged from 500 to 600 yen, with main fish dishes priced at just over 1000 yen, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere felt like eating at a local bar in Spain, and the pricing was also done in a local style, as the manager mentioned. We ordered a bottle as well, and the total bill for a lot of food and drinks was surprisingly affordable. [Today's a la carte orders (including dishes for 3 people): Iberico ham platter (1540 yen), Pintxos (assorted 3 types: 385 yen each x 3), Wagyu beef flank (2200 yen), Roasted duck (990 yen), Ham croquettes (660 yen), Seafood risotto (990 yen)].

I always look forward to enjoying dishes that stylishly incorporate Nara ingredients and vegetables. This time, I paired it with wine and it was delicious. The interior with a view of the kitchen has a nice atmosphere. I would like to try the bar area next time.

I finally visited the restaurant I had been curious about. It was my first visit, so I made a reservation for the a la carte menu. The cost performance is amazing. The prices are surprisingly low, and I even had to ask the staff if it was true. Despite the low prices, the food is delicious, so it's really high cost performance. The seafood risotto was around 990 yen, and it was incredibly delicious. It tasted like something that would easily cost 2,000 yen at other restaurants. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice. It seems like a place where you can casually drop in for a la carte dishes, so I will definitely visit again.

In one corner of the restaurant, there is a bar-like atmosphere with a menu and drinks that clearly show an effort to make it feel like a Spanish bar. The snacks served are crispy fried snacks made from Sanuki somen noodles. We ordered shrimp pinchos, oil-marinated sardines, croquetas, tortilla, carne asada, duck, etc. All the ingredients used are of high quality, which stands out. The taste is sure to be good. However, the tortilla is softer compared to Spanish tortillas, perhaps tailored to Japanese taste. The drink selection is limited but enjoyable, with options like red wine made from Tempranillo grapes. Overall, it's an interesting concept. While not a traditional Spanish bar, it incorporates elements that remind you of one, with exciting discoveries related to Nara and Japanese ingredients. I look forward to visiting the main restaurant in Nara someday.

Hello, everyone! I am "The Solitary Gourmet," your humble servant in the world of food. Since my review, the number of visitors to "Dominic Bouchet Tokyo" in Ginza has increased dramatically, which is great news! The environment is well set up, so I hope the food will also improve in quality. For all you intellectual gourmets out there, you must be familiar with my beloved "Accord" in Nara. Whenever I have a budget of 50,000 to 70,000 yen per person for a meal in Tokyo, I make sure to visit Nara for "Accord" at least once every five times. Just like "Esquis" in Ginza, "Accord" in Nara is still one of my top-rated reviews. However, it seems that the locals in Nara are not giving it much love, as the review ratings are not as high as I would have expected. The dishes created by the mature and sophisticated chefs at "Accord" are truly exceptional. Recently, I had a conversation at "Accord" in Nara. The staff welcomed me and mentioned that they have opened a branch in Tokyo as well. I promised to visit and share my feedback soon. So, I found myself in Shinbashi after a long time. The atmosphere at the restaurant was a bit off, and the lack of proper greetings made it feel uncomfortable for me. The interior design was elegant, but the overall vibe was not to my liking. The lunchtime crowd in this area is quite different from the usual clientele, making it a hidden gem for those who enjoy a leisurely meal lasting over an hour. As I sat down, the staff offered us a pre-meal drink. I opted for a Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) while my companion chose a grape juice. The drinks were served, and we made a toast by the window. The food and bread were decently tasty, and the grape juice had a nice, moderate sweetness. I could imagine it pairing well with the dishes at "Accord" in Nara. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and I look forward to trying more of their dishes.

This seems to be a Spanish restaurant in Nara with two Michelin stars. It has a spacious environment, perfect for taking shelter from a thunderstorm. They offer Nara's local sake and craft gin. You can enjoy dishes like croquettes and terrine individually, making it a great place to visit without a reservation.

Located on the second floor of Nara's antenna shop, this restaurant uses ingredients from Nara. It is said to be a sister store of the famous Nara restaurant "Accord" and also holds a Michelin star. The atmosphere inside is stylish and chic, but not overly so. It feels very Nara-like in a good way. The low chairs make it a cozy place to relax. The main dish is, of course, Yamato beef, which was even better than any other Yamato beef I've had in Kansai. The other dishes were also sophisticated, with a touch of Japanese taste. The friendly manager provided excellent service, making the experience very pleasant. A really great restaurant. Interestingly, there doesn't seem to be anyone from Nara working here! ===========

Toki Dinner Course 11,000 yen, Sparkling x2, White wine x2, around 30,000 yen for 2 people, pre-meal tea, Marumitako, vegetables covered in mud, early summer greens, moist chicken, blue beans, Yamato round eggplant and sea urchin, new tea granita, handmade pasta by Niren Yamamoto with shiso Genovese, Benie with the taste of the sea and the scent of early summer, Yamato pork assard with summer vegetables and scallop tartare, lemon confit, Nara honey pudding, edamame tiramisu with mint, Nara hojicha small sweets. It was delicious! Especially the shiso Genovese and corn fritters! I'm just taste-deaf, but no matter how expensive the pork is, it still tastes like pork... so I thought I should have changed the main course to Wagyu beef. The pace was just right, the drinks were affordable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date.

It was my first visit in about a year, and it was a hot day so I couldn't resist ordering a glass of white wine (770 yen). The lunch menu seemed to change every three weeks or so, and I happened to visit when the new menu was introduced. First, I had Nara corn soup, which was smooth and sweet underneath the foamy surface. The "Bonito and Black Edamame Empanada" was a pie filled with seasonal bonito, which was a unique and delicious combination. The black edamame added a nice texture, and the bell pepper sauce was refreshing. The bread was from a bakery called "Pain de Cuisson" in Nara, which I have been a fan of since my first visit. The "Baa-ku Pork Albondigas" meatballs were made from pork raised in Nara by Izumizawa Farm in Gojo City. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the accompanying vegetables were also delicious. The total cost was 1,980 yen, and I was pleasantly surprised that the prices have not changed since they opened, and the quality of the food remains excellent. I didn't have time for dessert on this visit, but adding dessert and coffee for 550 yen would make the lunch even more satisfying.

From appetizers to elaborate dishes that look good for the body. The expression of deliciousness comes from the aroma, color scheme, combination of ingredients, Nara-grown vegetables, and even changes in temperature, all of which are challenging. The presentation is like art! The golden eye snapper and the main dish Ichibo were especially delicious!

I went for lunch on a weekday. There is a restaurant area and a bar area. I chose the weekday lunch special, so I sat in the bar area. There are counter seats and table seats. I chose a table seat because I wanted to relax. The menu included: Gazpacho with ancient Kyoto strawberries, Duck and new onions Coca, Red snapper and Nara vegetables Salsa Verde. I added dessert and a drink for an additional charge. I had lime and mint sorbet for dessert and coffee to drink. Everything was delicious.

I visited the restaurant for a birthday celebration with a reservation for 4 people for lunch on a holiday. The restaurant has earned one Michelin star in 2023, and I had been curious about it! Although I didn't mention it specifically, we were guided to a semi-private room ✨ It is conveniently located near Shinbashi Station, on the 2nd floor of the Nara Prefecture Antenna Shop, so it's easy to find and you won't get lost. [Order details] - Buckwheat soba with young burdock, celery gelato - Homemade salted cod brandade with red bell pepper sauce - Whole wheat noodle with arugula and firefly - Yamato beef assard with snap peas sauce - Bread - Cheesecake - Chocolate cake (with birthday message) - Seasonal strawberry juice - Grape juice - Coffee and tea after the meal When looking at the menu, I was curious about what the flavors would be like. However, the dishes had a gentle and deep taste that also conveyed a sense of Japanese cuisine, and everything was truly delicious! They also pay attention to Nara ingredients and dishes, making me feel like I was on a trip. I will definitely come back again! [Recommendation] For business meetings, dates, family gatherings, and girls' night out. The spacious interior of the restaurant made it easy to have conversations without being bothered by other noises!

The service was exceptional, creating a pleasant dining experience throughout.

Located in Nihonbashi, this Spanish cuisine and bar inside the Nara Prefecture-operated tourist information center "Nara Mahoroba-kan" is supervised by Chef Kawashima, who earned one Michelin star in the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2023, and Chef Nagasawa, who previously worked at "Restaurant Sanpau," awarded one Michelin star in the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2023, and "Le Roger Eguskirol Ginza Mitsukoshi Store," which is now closed, and was awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide Nara 2022. The menu differs between the private room and the bar, with a hexagonal "Nara lattice" object hanging overhead and a beautifully curved counter made of Yoshino cypress serving reasonably priced a la carte dishes. Tapas, similar to the Japanese "otōshi," include fried Three-Wheel Somen with paprika. It is interesting that they propose souvenir items as recipes using Three-Wheel Somen sold at Nara Mahoroba-kan. The Gaspacho made with ancient capital strawberries uses strawberries born in Nara Prefecture instead of the usual tomatoes, making it a cold soup. The Ensaladilla with Shrimp Aioli is a Pinchos dish that has Spanish potato salad on top of bread, with grilled shrimp placed on top and drizzled with aioli sauce, a mayonnaise-based Spanish classic sauce. All this for only 440 yen is a great deal! The Roasted Wao Duck features slowly cooked Wao duck meat from Nara Prefecture, priced at 990 yen, offering a generous portion of duck meat. Today's gelato includes two flavors: banana and vanilla. Despite being a restaurant in a tourist information center, the sophisticated presentation and reasonable pricing make it worth a visit. If you enjoyed this review, please consider following the account and saving the restaurant.

I visited this restaurant for lunch for the first time. I arrived earlier than the opening time of 12:00, but they wouldn't let me sit until then. I had reserved the 8800 yen lunch course in advance, but when I asked if I could upgrade to a higher course, they bluntly said, "That's not possible here!" It was a bit off-putting, but I understood it was a long shot. The food was okay, nothing outstanding. I ordered the recommended strawberry juice, but they only had enough for 3 out of the 5 people in our group, so the other 2 had to settle for grape juice. It seems a bit unreasonable to have such limited quantities of a recommended drink right after opening.
