Today, I went to a rock-paper-scissors-themed izakaya where almost everything is priced at 333 yen. I made a reservation for the all-you-can-drink option! The exterior has a nice red lantern, and the interior is mainly counter seating. Smoking is allowed at the tables. The menu is truly almost all priced at 333 yen (((o(*゚▽゚*)o))). The famous Toro Katsu is limited to one per person. I ordered Toro Katsu, beef skewers, simmered dish, and potato salad! The old-fashioned potato salad, simmered dish, beef skewers, and Toro Katsu were all tender and delicious. Thank you for the meal m(_ _)m.

I lost!! It was a tie for a while, but I lost! But it was fun♡ I wish the beer I ordered was a big pitcher. Just be careful, you can only play rock-paper-scissors once. The premium beef cutlet was delicious! It came with about three different dipping sauces. Even after finishing the cutlet, you can continue to use the sauce, so it's better not to take it away.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Kamata. Today, I won at rock-paper-scissors for the first time (although it was my friend who won). When you order a beer as your first drink at Janken-san, a game of rock-paper-scissors starts, and if you win, you get a super big beer for the regular price. Today, I had:
- Tomato Salad: A salad with lettuce surrounded by tomatoes, very Instagrammable.
- Beef Cutlet: I went with the most basic one, but it's still the best.
- Wasabi Beef Skewers: Wasabi and meat really go well together.
It's a bit off Bourbon Road, but the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and it's affordable, so I highly recommend it!

I went with my high school friends! The owner, Rin, plays rock-paper-scissors with you, and if you win, the beer, takoyaki, and edamame will be bigger than usual, haha. They let you keep playing until someone wins, so they are really kind. (One of my friends misunderstood and froze for a moment thinking it was a festival stall one-shot game and ended up losing, haha) The Toro katsu was really delicious, starting with the standard one. Then we ordered the Italian and Japanese-style ones as well, haha. Personally, I like trying different toppings with the standard one. The menu is fun to look at with an Italian vibe, and you can feel Rin's warm personality.

If you win at rock-paper-scissors, apparently you get free beer, but my friend and I are not beer drinkers so it was meaningless (lol). As for the food, I forgot the details but the beef cutlet was really delicious and really cheap. It was easy to eat because it was bite-sized.

We arrived slightly after the happy hour at around 6 PM and sat at a 4-person table. We ordered 2 plates of tonkatsu, 6 plates of yakitori, and 1 plate of salad. We also had 3 large beers, which cost us around 7500 yen in total for two men. About half of the menu items were priced at 333 yen each. The Sapporo beer we had was very good. The breeze passing through the restaurant during this season was refreshing. I would like to visit again during happy hour next time.

A place I frequented every week, where the highlight was the ice-cold draft beer in a glass for only 333 yen. If you win a rock-paper-scissors game, you get a big jug of beer. It's a great spot for summer salarymen in Kamata. The food is decent for the price of 333 yen. If you want something more delicious, I recommend the neighboring hormone shop. This is a cheap drinking spot that stays open until around 2 am, so you can drink even after late-night overtime. Also, if you go after a sauna session, the ratings might skyrocket.

It felt like I stumbled upon this place, but the food was delicious and the staff were friendly, so it was really great (^^) I had a lot of fun chatting with them and enjoyed my meal. The restaurant was spacious, with a very impressive interior that made it very relaxing! The fried chicken was the best!

I went to this restaurant four years ago when I was walking along the Tokyu Line on the Kandai side, which I rarely visit. I felt like trying their popular dish, Toro Katsu, so I went in. It was just after opening, so I was the first customer. The drinks and appetizers were all priced at 290 yen (excluding tax), which was very straightforward. I ordered a set with Hoppy White and spaghetti salad, and got a coupon for a complimentary dish of deep-fried river shrimp. The Hoppy set I chose was Half & Half with black and white. The premium beef Toro Katsu came with three different sauces: salt, garlic soy sauce, and wasabi soy sauce. The presentation in a large sake cup-like container was quite extravagant and I liked it. The crispy coating and rare inside of the katsu for only 290 yen was amazing. There was also ponzu sauce available, so you could enjoy four different flavors. I preferred the salt sauce. Unfortunately, they didn't have the sauce available, but I still enjoyed it. The Seafood Butter Soy Sauce Grilled dish was excellent. I enjoyed a lot of shochu in a large glass. The Red Spicy Chicken Karaage had a hint of chili, but it wasn't too spicy. The karaage itself was delicious. They had a challenge menu for drinks, and I tried the Spiritus, which I think is better frozen rather than chilled. You don't need lemon with it. It's 96% vodka. I used to have it in my home freezer, but I tried it again after a long time. It seems like they have opened a sister restaurant on the east side, so they must be doing well.

On August 2nd (Friday), after finishing work, the drinking enthusiast headed to Kamata. Today, they invited their colleagues for a tour of Kamata! The first stop of the day was a beef wholesaler-owned restaurant called "Janken". Everything at this restaurant, including drinks and food, is priced at 290 yen! They started with Janken Draft Beer. If you win at Janken against the staff, you get double the amount, but this time they lost. They also ordered some Edamame, Potato Salad, Tomato Skewers, Nagoya Miso Pork Cutlet, and Premium Beef Pork Cutlet. The food was delicious! As for drinks, they had Hoppy, Grapefruit Sour, and Kamata Highball, and ended up quite drunk. Now, on to the second stop, "Kushisai Honten"!

On a Saturday afternoon, during an odd time when you can still drink... preferably somewhere with a meaty vibe... I decided to try this place out. It's near Kamata Station, a bit away from the drinking district, making it a hidden gem (in my opinion). The entrance is small, and the interior is cozy, with about 8 seats at the counter and two small tables for 4. It feels like a ramen shop converted into a bar. They open from 2 pm on Saturdays. So, I took a seat at the counter and checked out the menu. The first beer is a challenge - if you win rock-paper-scissors, you get a large beer instead of a regular one. The manager kept tying, but I finally won! I was up for it, but unfortunately lost. The prices are all 290 yen, but the appetizer is 315 yen. It seems to be run by a butcher, so the menu is meat-focused. I can't remember much, but I do recall that the miso mayonnaise that came with the cabbage was delicious. The manager kept saying, "Great value for the price!" Well, I did win at rock-paper-scissors after all... I'll probably go back for an early Saturday drink again sometime.

This is a new izakaya that opened in the place where there used to be a restaurant called "Bucchigiri Janken Kamata Nishiguchi" before. I had been ignoring it because it had the same name as the previous place, assuming that the content would be the same as well. However, I heard from a friend that this new place is worth visiting, so I decided to check it out. I visited around 7:30 pm on a weekday and it was about 50% full. The previous "Bucchigiri Janken Kamata Nishiguchi" had a service where you could play rock-paper-scissors with the staff and if you won, you would get extra edamame. Here, they offer a similar service called "Janken Nama!!" (play rock-paper-scissors with the staff for a chance to win a large beer) and "Janken Takoyaki" (win and get extra takoyaki, lose and get no octopus). This time, I tried "Janken Nama" and won a large beer. We also tried dishes like Nagoya Toro Katsu, Miso Cabbage, Kamata Highball, Garlic Beef Skewers, Japanese-style Beef Skewers, and Genki Sour, all priced at 290 yen each. Compared to the previous place, the prices seem a bit higher. It was mentioned that you can use Gurunavi points or gift cards at checkout, but unfortunately, the foreign staff working that day couldn't process them. It seems that you need to visit when the manager is around if you want to use Gurunavi points or gift cards.

After leaving the Ozeki restaurant, the next place I visited was this rock-paper-scissors restaurant, which is a direct sales store of a beef wholesaler. The specialty here is the rock-paper-scissors game where if you win against the staff, your first drink will be upgraded from a medium to a large for only 290 (305) yen. The young staff at this new restaurant seems to be weak at rock-paper-scissors, with reports of losing nine times in a day. However, I managed to win easily with a rock, so I got the large drink! Unfortunately, my friend lost and stayed with the medium, but it was still a fun experience. We ordered the Toro Cutlet, which was a good deal for the price, but the breading was a bit heavy that day. The beef was not bad, so maybe the yakitori would have been a better choice. The potato salad was creamy and delicious. The tomato skewers were surprisingly good. We switched to Hoppy for drinks, and the refill drink was served in a Picardy glass with ice, but the quantity was a bit small. It was a good place to start the night with the chance to upgrade your drink size through a simple game of rock-paper-scissors. Cheers!

I walked a little from the station and found a cozy, crowded restaurant in the area. The menu was all priced at 290 yen, which was great. The fun part was that if you win rock-paper-scissors with the staff, you can upgrade your drink from a small to a large size. Unfortunately, I lost, but my friend won and got a large drink. The pork cutlet for 290 yen was cheap but the batter was a bit soggy and oily. It reminded me of a place in Shinbashi. I ordered a Kamata Highball, which was too sour for my taste, so I had a bit of tequila to balance it out. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Overall, I enjoyed the experience despite the mixed feelings about the food.

We visited a restaurant that caught our attention with its sign saying "All items 290 yen," which was conveniently close to our home. The manager, Lin from Fujian province, greeted us and offered a special where if you win rock-paper-scissors against him, you get a larger drink. My wife tried but unfortunately lost, but it was a fun experience. We tried various dishes, such as the "Toro Katsu," which was tender and delicious fried beef with wasabi, garlic, and salt seasoning. The "Miso Cabbage" was simple but tasty, and the "Garlic Beef Skewers" were flavorful. We also enjoyed the "Miso Beef Cutlet" and "Chicken and Nameko Mushroom Stew." We had a satisfying meal with beer, shrimp chili, skewers, and more, all for around 4000 yen. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and we look forward to visiting again.

There is a restaurant located along the Tokyu railway line, a short walk from the station. I was intrigued by their 290 yen flat-rate pricing, so I finally decided to give it a try. For drinks, the first glass of draft beer involves playing rock-paper-scissors with the manager, and if you win, you get a large mug. I love this playful touch, so I gave it a shot and ended up losing. Oh well, it happens. For the second round onwards, I ordered a highball. The Oimori Highball and Kamata Highball both have apple vinegar and citric acid, giving them a delicious tanginess. The food, despite being priced at 290 yen, was of surprisingly high quality, as expected from a wholesaler-run establishment. The various torikatsu dishes were all cooked to perfection, with a rare and juicy interior. The Italian torikatsu in the photo came with a basil dip on top, which was simply divine. The spicy chicken wings were not actually spicy, but rather tasted like Happy Turn snacks. However, this cheap and cheerful flavor was irresistible. If I had just stuck to a few drinks, the bill would have been in the 2000 yen range, but I got carried away and ended up having over 10 drinks on my own, leading to quite a shock when it came time to pay. If I ever come back, I'll have to be more careful. This place is recommended for when you want to enjoy quality beef at an izakaya.
