Visited for Sunday lunch. Just before opening, there were about 20 people lined up outside the restaurant. It seems that the impact of the coronavirus on dining out has weakened compared to last year. The staff soon began seating customers. I managed to slip in just in time for the first round. I ordered the Samurai Festival (3 kinds) for 1500 yen (excluding tax). You can choose from 13 types of vegetables and 3 toppings, and I chose chicken, soft-boiled egg, and oysters. I also upgraded from 13 vegetables to 20 vegetables for an additional 200 yen (excluding tax). Although I was seated in the first round, the order is made in order, so there was a reasonable wait time. The curry was served around 12:15, which was actually faster than I expected considering the time it took to decide on the menu. The process of frying the vegetables after ordering adds to the wait time, but it's understandable given the nature of soup curry. The curry contained various vegetables, tubers, and beans cooked in various ways. Since soup curry tends to be light, the deep-fried vegetables matched well. The chicken, oysters, and egg provided a well-balanced meal. All the ingredients were delicious. The rice included some brown rice, and I enjoyed it with a soft-boiled egg on top, creating a delicious combination with the curry soup and ingredients. I recommend this place in Kichijoji near the station for those who want to enjoy delicious, nutritious, and body-friendly curry in a relatively relaxed setting.

Arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 am on the middle day of the 3-day weekend. Usually, this is a time where you can enter without waiting for the usual weekend lunch, but due to the 3-day weekend, there were quite a few people waiting. Waited for about 40 minutes and finally got inside. Ordered the following on the tablet: - 3 Kind Samurai Festival (tax included 1925 yen) * Zangi, Crispy Broccoli, Fried Mochi - 12 Vegetables (tax included 1265 yen) You can change the vegetables, but you need to call a staff member for that. It would be nice if you could change it on the tablet too. The first impression when the food arrived... Oh, the amount of vegetables has decreased again. I understand that it's due to rising prices, but I can't help feeling disappointed as I remember there used to be so many vegetables piled up that you couldn't see the soup. However, the curry is still delicious as always. The deep-fried vegetables also blend well with the soup and are delicious. Especially the burdock is exquisite.

First visit. Chicken and 20 types of vegetables soup curry for a day. You can choose the spiciness, amount of soup, and rice. For the chicken, you can choose between crispy or tender. I ordered crispy chicken, level 3 spiciness, original soup, and medium rice. The soup is filled with plenty of chunky vegetables that stimulate the appetite!! The chicken is crispy on the outside but tender and falls apart inside! I enjoyed dipping it in the soup and got full from the vegetables. I didn't order it this time, but I heard that the crispy broccoli and zangi toppings are delicious, so I'll try them next time.

In Kichijoji, I had a delicious soup curry lunch! This time, I ordered zangi and half chicken with vegetables, spiciness level 3. It reminded me of Hokkaido's soup curry, very good and tasty curry. The soup curry here has vegetables cut a bit smaller, with a variety of types and plenty of them, so you can get a rich variety of nutrients all at once. Especially the burdock was large and very flavorful and tasty. Also, you can enjoy two types of chicken, zangi (= fried chicken in Hokkaido?) and regular chicken, making it a very enjoyable and delicious curry. The food and taste are impeccable, but there was something that bothered me at the dining table. This time, I had a counter seat, and there was a shoe locker right next to it. The shoe locker was facing towards the seats, and some customers were making a lot of noise by taking off and putting on their shoes right next to where I was eating, which made me feel unclean and uncomfortable. I hope this can be improved.

I wanted to eat curry and searched for curry restaurants near Kichijoji, and discovered this place! I was worried about the lack of volume in soup curry, but decided to go after seeing a photo with lots of chicken and vegetables. The food menu was curry only, but it was nice that you could customize the amount and variety of vegetables, types of meat, and cooking methods! This time, I chose the curry with chicken and 20 types of vegetables for a day. The soup was reportedly mild with a strong broth, no spiciness, and the chicken was stewed. I also ordered a medium portion of rice. There were more vegetables than I expected, and I couldn't finish them all, so I thought maybe I should go for the one with 12 types next time... But I felt happy to eat lots of vegetables. The chicken was a large piece and very tender! The soup was mild and easy to eat, which was nice. I would like to go again soon.

Located a little off the main street, Rojiura Curry SAMURAI in Kichijoji is a charming soup curry restaurant with a great atmosphere. The menu is extensive, allowing you to adjust the spiciness and rice portion to your liking. I tried the "Pork Belly and Vegetable Curry," which was delicious with crispy fried vegetables and melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. All the other curry options looked tasty as well, so I definitely want to visit again.

This is a shop that I have visited multiple times. Personally, this is my favorite soup curry place in Kichijoji. When I arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday, the shop was full, so I had to wait a bit. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I entered the shop. I ordered my food using a tablet. I selected the type of curry, the soup, and the amount of rice in that order on the tablet. After placing my order, I called a staff member to change the vegetables (which some people may not know). I ordered the 12-vegetable curry for 1255 yen and the 3-item samurai festival set for 1955 yen (zangi, crispy broccoli, fried burdock). The prices have gone up a bit, but the dishes are still full of vegetables and delicious. Not only the curry, but also the zangi, crispy broccoli, and fried burdock were all delicious. I was happy to see that they now accept PayPay, in addition to cash. There were many families with young children around, and I was impressed by the fact that chairs and blankets were provided. I definitely want to go back again!

I used it for an early dinner. This was my 4th visit. I'm happy that you can choose the ingredients, soup taste, and spiciness of the soup curry here, allowing you to make arrangements that suit your mood of the day. The soup has a depth of flavor without being too heavy, and it tastes really good! Furthermore, the large fried vegetables are really delicious! You can feel the shop's commitment. This time, my husband ordered Zangi (fried chicken) and shared a bit with me. This is obviously delicious, but the main menu "chicken" is truly outstanding!! Considering the quality of the food, the price is reasonable, so I can't say it's cost-effective, but when it comes to delicious soup curry, this place is the first thing that comes to mind. With the increase in touch panel ordering due to COVID, it was the same when I visited after a long time.

I was at GW, but I didn't have to wait long to get in. The interior of the restaurant had a calming lighting which was relaxing. I ordered a vegetable and chicken curry, which had tender chicken that could be easily shredded with a spoon. The vegetables, especially the burdock, were delicious. The rice was a bit dry, and even though I ordered a normal portion, it was quite large. There were no drinks included, so it felt a bit pricey. The restroom had disposable toothbrushes, which was a nice touch compared to other curry restaurants. Overall, I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, but the taste didn't make me want to go back again.

The mildness level was 1, and I ordered the Samurai Matsuri (shrimp, broccoli fry, chicken), along with a regular size rice (180g). The soup curry was just right this time with the reduced spiciness, making it possible to enjoy the soup on its own. The smooth and mellow soup harmonized well with the fried ingredients, creating a truly delicious taste. There were families, groups of elderly ladies, and individuals like myself, making it a welcoming restaurant. Orders were placed using tablets, but payment was made at the regular counter in the back of the store. Only cash payment is accepted.

The volume was great and the vegetables were cooked just right, making them easy to eat. The toppings included 12 types of vegetables, zangi, fish fry, and a generous amount of broccoli curry sauce. It was a lot of food for 1800 yen, so I think it was worth the money. The interior and exterior of the restaurant were both stylish.

I used to go to the Kagurazaka branch often, but this was my first time using this shop. I was a little disappointed to find out that the shrimp curry I was looking forward to is limited to the Kagurazaka location. Instead, I topped the regular curry with zangi (deep-fried chicken) and crispy broccoli. The zangi and crispy broccoli were very delicious, especially the broccoli which had a hint of garlic flavor and was very tasty. However, the zangi was about 60% smaller in portion compared to my previous visit, which was a bit disappointing. I still think I will definitely order both again when I come next time, but I feel like the impact of rising ingredient costs is evident here. I will consider coming back when I am in the area. By the way, there were about 8 groups waiting in line, and it took about 20 minutes to be seated.

After going to HMV to buy the record I was looking for on Record Store Day, I suddenly craved curry. I ordered a curry with 12 kinds of vegetables, but since I wasn't very hungry, I decided to go without rice. Turns out, it wasn't enough at all! I couldn't help but feel envious of my partner's chicken with bones and, above all, the white rice.

It was delicious. Especially the crispy broccoli was seasoned with garlic and had a good amount of saltiness. It was surprisingly indulgent for broccoli, and I enjoyed a whole floret despite feeling a bit of heartburn afterwards. I ordered the Chicken and 20 Vegetable Dish (crispy chicken, regular soup, spicy, topped with crispy broccoli and a warm egg). There were plenty of vegetables, making it quite photogenic. Each vegetable was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. However, I wished they had provided a knife as it was difficult to cut with just a spoon and fork, resulting in some vegetables being eaten whole. Also, the "soup" was more like a thick sauce, almost like a creamy soup rather than the soup curry I was expecting. It was very tasty but not exactly what I had in mind. Overall, it was really delicious, so I would recommend it if you're okay with a more saucy curry instead of a watery soup curry. Thank you for the meal.

I was able to enter the restaurant around 12:10 on Saturday, but by the time we left, there were over 10 groups waiting. They have tatami seating and terrace seating, making it popular among families with small children. It took a little while for our order to arrive. I had "Samurai Zangi & Chicken 1/2 with vegetables" and my husband had "Chicken with vegetables". The chicken was crispy and the soup, which was level 4 spicy, had a deep and gentle flavor with the umami and sweetness of the vegetables. I usually don't like large carrots in soup curry, but here the vegetables were cut into easy-to-eat sizes, with 12 varieties, so I enjoyed it until the end without getting bored. I especially liked the burdock, broccoli, and yam. The rice, cooked firm with brown rice, went well with the soup. The soy sauce-flavored Zangi also paired perfectly with the rice. It was satisfyingly delicious with a good portion size. I'm curious about the braised pork and 20 types of vegetables. Next time, I'll order with less rice and increase the spiciness.

I tried takeout in Sapporo and it was delicious, so I decided to dine in to see if it would be even better. I visited around 1 pm on Saturday. There was a wait of about 5 groups when I signed in at the storefront, and I waited for just under 30 minutes. I ordered the chicken and 12 vegetable curry with spiciness level 0. It wasn't spicy but very flavorful! I'm not a fan of spicy food so I chose level 0, but I think level 1 or 2 would have been tasty too. Level 0 felt a bit lacking. The spiced vegetables were each substantial, especially the burdock and lotus root were delicious! The chicken was so tender it could be easily shredded with a fork! I was very satisfied. I think I was more impressed when I had it in Sapporo before, but maybe I was just really hungry (lol). The staff were kind and polite, which was also nice. I heard you can make reservations on weekdays, so I would like to go again.

Rojiura Curry SAMURAI. Kichijoji store (@samurai.kj) [Chicken and 20 types of vegetables for a day] ¥1,815 Soup: Mild (creamy soup with Japanese-style broth and soy milk) Spiciness: 4 (spicy) Rice: M (180g) Chicken: Crispy This is my second visit! Last time, I arrived before 12 o'clock and got in right away, but this time, there was a long line outside the store, and it was crowded! The popularity is incredible. The memory of the last visit was so delicious that I powered up and placed my order. This time, I increased the variety of vegetables, so it was more voluminous and colorful! I don't think there are many places where so many large vegetables are generously included. Especially the burdock root! It's cut into thick slices and added in a big way. The overwhelming presence of the texture is incredibly delicious... Other vegetables such as pumpkin, soybeans, and wood ear mushrooms, as well as favorite vegetables and rare vegetables for curry, made the experience enjoyable throughout. The large ingredients do not lose to the curry flavor, and when combined with the curry, the deliciousness is enhanced, making me feel happy. I chose "Mild" for the type of curry and set the spiciness to 3. It has definitely mellowed out with the soy milk. The spiciness is slightly noticeable, but I think I can handle one more level, so I'll try setting it to 4 next time. For the chicken, I chose the "Crispy" option, which is fried in oil. The outside is crispy, and it easily flakes off with a spoon, so there's no worry about getting messy. Moreover, it's juicy and incredibly delicious... By the way, the staff members are very kind, so it's healing. My happiness level skyrocketed!!!! Thank you for the meal. I visited Rojiura Curry Samurai in Kichijoji! This is a specialty shop for Hokkaido-originated soup curry, located in a cozy alleyway. I tried the Chicken and 20 types of vegetables for a day (1815 yen), which is their most popular dish. You can check the types of vegetables for the day on a board. It was a healthy meal with plenty of meat and vegetables. It's been a while since I had so many different types of vegetables in one meal. You can choose between crispy or tender chicken, or even change it to pork belly. You can also choose from regular, mild, coconut, or mild coconut soup. The spiciness level ranges from 0 to 10. There are many toppings available as well. The curry was unique and delicious with plenty of ingredients. I should have asked for more rice! Everything was delicious and my body was happy. They also have a new flavor of lassi - Blueberry Lassi. It's tangy and goes well with curry. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place for a girls' night out or a date.

The shops in Shimokitazawa always have long lines, so I always ended up giving up and leaving. In Kichijoji, I was able to enter the shop without waiting on a weekday afternoon. The curry was delicious, although I forgot what combination I ordered. But the most impressive thing was how delicious the fried broccoli was!

This is a shop that I have visited many times. While waiting to enter, they have changed the system from writing your name on a paper at the entrance to using a device where you input the number of people and receive a waiting number. Once inside, you order using a tablet. I chose 12 types of vegetables and the Samurai Festival set of 3 items, but I couldn't find the toppings for the Samurai Festival set on the tablet, and I also couldn't change the vegetables. So I had to order on the tablet and then call a staff member to place the order, which was a bit inconvenient. The taste is consistently delicious, and personally, I prefer the taste here over Suage. I am satisfied with the variety of vegetables. The toppings I chose, Zangi, crispy broccoli, and fried yam, were excellent. (Although it seems like the amount of vegetables has decreased compared to before, probably due to rising prices.) One thing I always think about is that it's a shame they only accept cash. Despite some drawbacks, I will visit again because it's delicious.

Lately, I haven't had soup curry for dinner. So, I decided to go all out and visited Rojiura Curry SAMURAI in Kichijoji to try their classic dish, the "Samurai Matsuri" for 1,925 yen. The choice of crispy broccoli and minced meat is essential, so the final choice of one additional item is crucial. This time, I chose whole tomatoes for the first time. When I crushed the whole tomatoes with a spoon, the tomato acidity and umami seeped into the soup and it was delicious. Whole tomatoes are also good. The crispy broccoli was extremely delicious as always! I love it so much that I could even have it as a main dish haha. I just can't seem to cook it well at home. Thank you for the meal.
