When I come to Kyoto, I plan to visit the bar "Setsugekka." It is located near Kyoto City Hall, in a renovated building that was once a bank from the Taisho era and is now a registered tangible cultural property. Upon entering, you walk through a long corridor with soft blue lighting and are greeted by the bartender. I requested the "Salon" area today, which features classical sofas. I sat on an antique leather sofa and ordered a watered-down drink. The high ceilings and modern interior surrounded by classical furniture made time pass by as I indulged in a luxurious atmosphere. I enjoyed some chocolate as a snack and had a very peaceful time. Thank you for the wonderful experience. There are also lovely seats at the regular bar counter.

It's relatively quiet on regular days, but it's smooth to call ahead before going. There seem to be quite a few foreign visitors. It's a bar, but there is also a table floor (salon) where groups of four people are also seen. The seasonal menu (fresh fruits) is delicious. Those who are good at fresh fruit cocktails seem to be good at everything, but that's just my personal opinion haha. It's a favorite place of mine.

The underground bar with a single wooden plank is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, and I was lucky enough to be able to stay there. It was a lovely shop... I'm pretty sure I included a cake with my reservation, but it didn't come with the menu, which was a bit disappointing. However, I was able to enjoy stylish and delicious cocktails, so that was really nice...! Especially the Kyoto-style matcha liqueur cocktail in an elegant glass was wonderful, and I'm glad I went.

The building is made of stone and used to be a bank. The narrow entrance and long corridor give it a Kyoto-like feel. If you want to smoke a cigar, there is a special lounge for that. They offer rare cigars from around the world, making it a must-visit for enthusiasts. I tried something recommended and it had a wonderful aroma I had never experienced before. Being able to smoke rare cigars in a historic building is truly priceless. The place is open until 2 AM, perfect for those who enjoy Kyoto's nightlife. You can also take unfinished cigars home, but be careful as the smell may linger in your bag. The price includes the cost of one cigar.

It's a bit hard to find, but the atmosphere is really nice and the staff are friendly, so you can visit with peace of mind. I'm not very knowledgeable about alcohol, but they explained everything carefully so I could enjoy it. I would like to visit again.

The third stylish place with just the right cost performance (ordering a lot may significantly increase the price) seems like a sure way to impress a girl on a date (I went with my colleagues from work though...). The regular customers seemed to be chatting amicably with the bartender. There are different ways to enjoy the place like that too.

I went to smoke a cigar, but there was already a customer, so I was taken to the underground room. I had ice wine and smoked the cigar with Irish coffee. The staff kindly guided me to a zone where I could smoke the cigar once it became available. Thank you very much! It is a great restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

I don't drink alcohol, so I ordered a non-alcoholic coffee cocktail and beautifully presented chocolate. The atmosphere is nice, so I would like to use this place for special occasions.

I ordered a selection of chocolates and two drinks. I felt out of place when I first entered because of the luxurious and clean interior, but the bartender was kind and attentive throughout, making it a pleasant and calm experience to enjoy my drinks. The drinks provided were also very delicious. Most importantly, they have Tatsunoko Gin, which is rare, so I recommend trying it out!

However, the place is heavily geared towards smokers, with many smoking customers, so it can be uncomfortable for non-smokers. I had mentioned that I dislike smoke when I entered, but during the pandemic, I was seated right next to a smoker at the crowded counter, and their constant smoking aggravated my asthma. I wish they had been more considerate towards non-smokers when assigning seating. I don't think I'll be visiting again.

I visited the bar before dinner and had a highball with Laphroaig. The carbonation was a bit too much for my liking, but the bar had a wonderful atmosphere. I would like to visit again next time for a leisurely post-dinner experience.

I came here to enjoy some leisurely time after a long while. I have a slightly smoky Scotch whisky and a cigar. It's a relaxing time. While it's fun to have a lively time with drinks, it's also nice to enjoy drinks like this slowly.

I tried to sneak into the place for the cigars, and the legacy atmosphere of the interior and furnishings is amazing. The time flows leisurely yet with high quality. The hospitality of the staff is wonderful, and the homemade chocolate enhances the flavor of the cigars. It was a wonderful shop.

After experiencing the goodness of cigars at The Nikka Bar in Sapporo, I have been wanting to enjoy a leisurely time with cigars again somewhere. The opportunity arose in Kyoto this day, and upon researching, I found that this shop I had visited before had cigars. The staff provided detailed explanations on both whiskey and cigars. However, as time passed, I forgot how time-consuming it is to enjoy a cigar. Slowly savoring the aroma of whiskey from the barrel and the aroma of the cigar, while lost in thought. It was truly a wonderful time. I would like to visit again.

I used this place for the second time today. After arriving, I remembered that I had sat in the exact same seat about five years ago. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit, with just the right amount of light. The staff are attentive and take orders before you run out of drinks. It's a wonderful space where adults can relax and enjoy some quality time with alcohol.

There are four floors, but always end up in the same place. Is it decided by face? ← No, it's different when I go alone and when I go with a few people, but both have a good atmosphere~✨ The bar is all about the atmosphere, not just the drinks. I was surprised when someone grabbed my shoulder from behind when I tried to go to the restroom.

The space for adults on Sanjo Tomonji Street has a really nice atmosphere. Enjoying brandy while having appetizers. A time of indulgence. A supreme time. Today, I am enjoying horse meat appetizers with oil. The rich aroma of brandy stops time.
