On this day, I was rejected by several nearby bistros one after another, so I decided to visit this place because it seemed to have lunch service until relatively late. Even though I pass by this street often, I had missed out on such a wonderful restaurant... Well, I was busy with my BM (business meeting) at the time (failed miserably). When I entered the restaurant with a calm navy exterior, the interior was slightly dim but had a nice atmosphere. They offered a brunch menu with options like pasta, hamburgers, and steak, and you could choose from three different dishes that seemed to change daily or monthly. I opted for a set that included pasta or a hamburger, salad, and a drink. You could also order items individually, and there were menu options with dessert as well. I chose ginger ale and iced tea for my drinks on this slightly sweaty afternoon. The pasta was Bolognese served in a large black dish with an elegant portion size. The pasta had a chewy texture, possibly made from fresh pasta. The minced meat in the Bolognese was large and satisfying to eat. With the bread provided, even eating the leftover sauce with the bread was delicious. As for the hamburger, it didn't have toppings like tomatoes or pickles, just lettuce, but the texture of the patty was amazing, and the bun made with sake was fluffy and wonderful. There was plenty of mustard that came bursting out, giving it a gourmet adult burger feel. The French fries were thin and crispy, and also delicious when freshly fried. The interior of the restaurant had a sophisticated atmosphere inspired by British tailors, and although I couldn't take photos because there were other customers, there were interesting displays like jackets on mannequins. The wall lamps had a great sense of style, and amazingly, the owner renovated everything DIY! What a wonderful sense of style. Although it's a bit off the main street in Kagurazaka, there are quite a few hidden gem restaurants in this area. The lunch was satisfying in terms of portion size, service, and ambiance. Thank you for the meal~
