Whenever I drive by, there is always a line at this place that caught my attention. My best friend made a reservation for us and we finally went. It was nice that they served hot water when we sat down, as I often drink hot water at home. I ordered the daily health meal. It was a one-plate meal with stir-fried pork and komatsuna, pumpkin and cream cheese with nut soy mayo salad, pickled Chinese cabbage, and a main dish of ginger miso simmered mackerel with plenty of vegetables. It also came with miso soup and brown rice. The flavors were gentle and comforting. I realized that I get enough vegetables in my diet, but my son may not be getting enough as he grows older. We laughed and talked about this while enjoying our meal. After eating delicious vegetables, we took a short walk. Let's go to Tennoji and explore.

On Saturday night, I felt like eating Sanmi's rice after a long time and decided to visit. I arrived around 8:15 pm, just before the last order, so it was not crowded. The price was a bit higher, but I appreciate that I can eat a well-balanced meal with vegetables, meat, and brown rice. I prefer the chicken breast tempura to be fried a bit more, but overall, the food was delicious and I was able to enjoy it leisurely. ★Payment with PayPay available.

It was rumored to have long lines, but luckily I was able to get in right away. It seems that just before lunchtime on weekdays is the best time to go. Now, the colorful set meal looked appetizing, but for a big eater like me, it might have been a bit lacking in portion size. I finished eating before 12 o'clock and by around 2 o'clock, I was already feeling hungry again, haha. The flavors were mild and gentle, which I really liked. Thank you for the meal.

Around 5:00 PM on a regular day, there were about two customers. Uber Eats orders were coming in frequently. Dinner service starts at 5:30 PM, so the dishes served at this time were more suitable for a café setting. The ordered dish was tantanmen, which had a light and easy-to-eat soy milk base, and seemed to use whole wheat noodles. It had a strong flavor of Sichuan pepper and was packed with plenty of summer vegetables, making it popular among women.

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Abeno Station, Sangmi Abeno offers healthy set meals with plenty of vegetables and brown rice. You can enjoy a guilt-free meal that is kind to your body, even when eating to your heart's content. With lunch, cafe, and dinner sets available, as well as healthy dessert options, you won't get tired of visiting. I tried the Whim Brown Rice Set and Sawatake Curry Roux. The set included brown rice, vegetable miso soup, a salad with beet dressing, cold tofu with small dried fish, sweet potato and pumpkin side dish, simmered hijiki seaweed, and fried mackerel, totaling around 30 different vegetable and seafood items. The dishes were not only visually appealing and health-conscious, but also delicious, bringing out the natural sweetness and umami of the ingredients with a well-balanced mix of rich and light flavors. Sanmi's soy milk pudding may be the number one soy milk pudding in the world. I brought a large bottle as a gift to a friend who is stuck in quarantine due to COVID-19, and they were so happy they almost cried. The soy milk pudding has left nothing but a good impression, it is the ultimate soy milk pudding. This time, I tried the soy milk pudding parfait (seasonal variation). It was my first time coming for a snack, and my first time trying the parfait. I was so excited I couldn't contain myself. The current season features a Fruit Almond Soy Milk Pudding Parfait. It was a bit more expensive, but that's just the way it is during this season...it cost 1045 yen including tax. The almond tofu was made with care and was genuine almond. The jasmine jelly added a hint of Chinese herbal medicine flavor. It was refreshing, slightly mature, and paired well with the soy milk pudding. The sweetness was restrained, resulting in a fresh overall taste. Well, I chose this one because I wanted to try the seasonal limited edition, but personally, I prefer the basic black honey soy milk pudding. However, the texture and deliciousness of the soy milk pudding and the jelly inside the parfait were still top-notch. Since the parfait changes with the seasons, I look forward to trying the summer version next. I truly believe that Sanmi's soy milk pudding is the best in the world.

After a business trip to Abeno, I stopped by a café on my way back and ordered their limited edition pumpkin zenzai. However, when I tried it, it tasted more like potage soup with weak red bean paste flavor, which was disappointing. They had a lot of delicious-looking options like brown rice lunch, so I plan to give them another try next time.

I tried the daily healthy brown rice set meal at Jitsumi, which I used to frequent since my student days. This was my first time visiting the Abeno store! The salad dressing was a limited edition strawberry sauce and it was incredibly delicious. From the main dish to the side dishes, everything had a gentle flavor and I was able to get plenty of vegetables, leaving me feeling full and happy!

I went to lunch with a friend. I always thought it would be crowded and there would be a line on holidays, but when we went after 1 pm, we were lucky to find an available table on the second floor without having to wait. Lucky♡♡ We both ordered the daily healthy meal for 990 yen. It included simmered chicken thigh and vegetables, pork and eggplant with sesame miso stir-fry, shiitake mushroom fritters, date and pumpkin sweet potato soy mayonnaise salad, and additive-free barley miso soup. It also came with brown rice. First, let's have the brown rice♪ Mmm! It's really delicious! I usually eat brown rice at home for health and diet reasons, but brown rice tends to have a unique taste and can be dry and hard. However, the brown rice from Mise Mi is chewy, doesn't have that unpleasant bran taste, and is incredibly tasty! It's not like eating white rice, which is great! How do they cook it so deliciously? They must use special brown rice and have a secret to cooking it. I doubt I can achieve this fluffiness on my own. The side dishes were all gently seasoned, and while I felt a bit unsatisfied at first, after finishing everything, I was quite full. I almost wanted to ask for more salt! But I think the dishes are carefully calculated in terms of salt content and calories, so I appreciate it. I feel like I had a healthy and nutritious meal, which eased my guilt about drinking alcohol at night (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

I used the weekday lunch for the first time in a while. I went later because I heard that lunch orders could be placed until 3:00 pm. The daily lunch set for 990 yen including tax can be paid with PayPay. It's a grateful place because you can get protein, vegetables, and brown rice.

I have used this restaurant a long time ago, but visited it again after a while. I used it at night and also during the day, and found that some days were good while others were a bit off. Sometimes it gets crowded during lunchtime, so I guess it can't be helped. The staff's voices were loud and sometimes it felt a bit rushed... I wish they would lower their voices a bit. I felt like I could relax more when using it at night, as the miso soup during lunch seemed to be missing some ingredients. It's a healthy restaurant with food that is gentle on the body, so I like it. I will try to visit again during less busy hours.

The daikon, carrots, and tomatoes served on the side are also nice!◎ Sweet potato and pumpkin mash, napa cabbage and sea chicken stew, plenty of fresh vegetables♪◎ Brown rice, miso soup with cabbage, potatoes, and onions♪ How many delicious vegetables did I get to eat in total! It's been around for a long time, and I recently visited after a long time. Along Abeno-suji, the "Jitsushinbi" store with three "Mi" in its name, also known as "Sanmi", opened, and I thought, "Ah, I thought this type of store would become popular in the future." It seems like my prediction was correct. Nowadays, there are organic and natural food stores popping up everywhere, and I think they will continue to evolve in the Reiwa era, but this store seems to be a pioneer in Osaka. The signboard at the store said, "Abeno store 19 years!" Wow, 19 years. They offer a daily healthy meal set for 920 yen, which includes a chicken and soy milk cream stew with lots of vegetables, carrot rapé, garlic soy sauce stir-fried spinach and mushrooms, sweet potato and okara mochi, a vegetable salad with beet enzyme dressing, a vegetable miso soup, and chewy brown rice. This was considered fresh back when they first opened. They now also sell products, and their side dishes are quite normal for organic and natural food, with lots of vegetables and vinegar and enzymes evenly distributed. The portion size is not very large, but for under 1000 yen, I think it's a reasonable amount. What surprised me was the delicious tofu pudding that comes with an additional 150 yen or by following them on Instagram. It seems to be a popular item, and many people order it. It's also included in their seasonal parfaits. This tofu pudding is delicious! It doesn't have the typical tofu-like smell and has a light and gentle texture. It's topped with black honey. The takeaway size (serves 2-3) is around 756 yen. Considering that convenience store desserts easily exceed 300-350 yen nowadays, it's actually quite affordable. I would love to give this tofu pudding as a gift to someone. I even decided to come back just to try the dessert! It's my favorite!

It was a little past 2 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon! A late lunch... I decided to visit a place that had caught my interest before!! I managed to find the place, located along the Chinchin train line!! It's somewhere between Abeno Delta and Q's Mall, on the east side of the tracks!? There were already two groups of customers in front of the store!? I quickly wrote my name on the waiting list, thinking it would be a ramen shop-like experience... The small shop had mostly female customers... There was a lot of hustle and bustle with customers buying the shop's special dressing and browsing through recipe books... After a longer wait than expected, about 25 minutes, I was led to a nice table in the back of the shop! First of all, there was a surprise!? A complimentary white broth, and I ordered the daily healthy meal set with sweets and a drink... The set included fried chicken with salted koji and leek tare, hijiki and enoki mushroom tea soba salad, pork and turnip Korean-style miso stew, and tofu topped with tuna and soy milk mayo! The drink was grain coffee and the dessert was soy milk pudding! While enjoying the cafe time menu and sweets menu, I observed the atmosphere inside the shop... After a little over 5 minutes of waiting, the lunch and miso soup were served as one dish!! Brown rice and colorful dishes arrived~♡ I thought it was just the way I like it*・.。.:*・゜゚・* First, I warmed up my stomach with the gentle miso soup... I then tried the salad with basil enzyme dressing - it was delicious~♡ Next, I had the fried chicken... The salt koji sauce brought out the natural umami of the chicken thighs, which was good☆*:.。. o The firm texture of the brown rice combined with its sweetness was a nice match... Both were delicious~ヾ(^。^*)b I couldn't get enough!! Furthermore, the slightly Korean-style pork and vegetables, along with the fresh vegetables, had a nice blend of natural flavors and gentle seasoning... I wanted to eat out somewhere, but I didn't feel like eating much today... so I came here after more than half a year. I arrived a little after 11 am. I feel like this place often has a line outside, but today we were able to enter smoothly. By noon, it was already full. They have a daily special or curry, and I went for the various options on the daily special menu. The warm white broth was comforting even though it's a bit hot outside. The healthy meal of brown rice and miso soup was delicious as always. I don't usually make miso soup with proper dashi at home, so it tastes even better here. The main dish was chicken nanban with plenty of tartar sauce and various vegetables. The mayonnaise, which I'm not a fan of, was somehow milder and I later found out it was homemade tofu mayo. The daikon radish was nicely seasoned and stood out to me. The three deli dishes were a combination I don't usually make, and I enjoyed the flavors. I wonder if they forgot the cilantro? I personally prefer it without, so it was fine for me. The food was delicious, but I wish there was a bit more in terms of portion size. I might end up eating too much (laughs). I appreciate the generous amount of salad. The dressing seemed to be a special one too. It's nice to have natural food once in a while.

So many types of vegetables and mushrooms in these lightly seasoned dishes that really bring out the natural flavors!(^^)!◎ Miso soup with daikon and carrots◎ Brown rice with black sesame seeds. I have been to their shop in Umeda a few times, but I didn't know they had one in Abeno. It's a great place for those who care about their health, which is important for someone like me at my age. This time, I ordered the Sanmi Lunch, which is a standard choice. As someone who enjoys rich flavors, I found the seasoning a bit lacking, but the abundance of vegetables made me feel reassured. The restaurant was filled with female customers, and I felt a bit out of place, but it was still enjoyable. It might be a nice place for a date in Abeno. Thank you for the meal once again.

I didn't bring my camera, so I took the menu photos with my smartphone, which is why they are upside down. I was planning to leave before noon after meeting with a friend, but ended up staying past lunchtime. We decided to have lunch somewhere in Abeno and ended up at a natural food restaurant that has been around for a while. We were seated quickly, but there was a short wait after us. The lunch options were either daily specials or chef's choice. I was tempted by the chef's choice with cartilage curry, but ended up choosing the daily special with black vinegar sauce. My friend also ordered the same. Instead of cold water, they served hot water, which was nice. The daily special healthy meal started with the main plate, followed by brown rice and miso soup. The miso soup was delicious, with a strong bonito flavor. The plate had a variety of dishes to enjoy, such as fried mackerel with vegetables in black vinegar sauce, stir-fried pork and celery with kimchi, simmered hijiki and shiitake mushrooms with raw egg, tofu topped with sesame seasoned with dried baby sardines, and a salad with yuzu enzyme dressing. The combination of ingredients was unique and tasty. The brown rice was also tasty, although a bit too much for me. I managed to finish it with a little help. I skipped dessert as I had a snack before coming here. If you ever find yourself indecisive about lunch in Abeno, this place is worth a try. My friend seemed satisfied and enjoyed the meal.

Introduction~ Very Healthy Brown Rice Lunch! Lots of Vegetables for a Healthy Lunch~ Yesterday night I had a meal at an izakaya, so today for lunch I wanted to eat something a bit healthier. I searched for a place in Tennoji where I could have a healthy lunch and found "Jitsumi" in Abeno area along the Hankai Tram line. It's a cafe with a street-level store along the Hankai Tram line and they serve lunch until 3 pm! It was just before 2 pm and I had to wait for about 5 minutes. The interior of the cafe seemed appealing to women and it was a two-story building. They also offer bento for takeout. Their catchphrase "Eating is Living" is wonderful! The menu includes a daily healthy rice dish with a protein topping (1140 yen). The interesting part about the healthy menu is the protein topping, which means you get more main dishes like fried chicken - it increased to 6 pieces! They also mix hijiki seaweed with the rice for iron. It's quite interesting and well thought out! I wonder if it's supervised by a registered dietitian? The other menu option was brown rice curry, which also looked delicious. It's a hearty meal with lots of vegetables. The side dishes included: - Chicken breast tempura with salted leek sauce - Chicken and root vegetable simmered dish - Pork and daikon radish Korean-style miso stew - Tofu topped with tuna, soy milk mayo, and fried tofu skin The chicken tempura was surprisingly not dry despite being made from breast meat, and it was fried perfectly! Today, I was able to sit down with hardly any wait. The daily special was fried chicken breast. There were plenty of vegetables to choose from and they were delicious without being too strong in flavor. I followed them on Instagram and got a mini soy milk pudding as a bonus.

This popular restaurant had a line, and I had to wait for about 20 minutes. The interior of the restaurant is narrow, and the entrance and aisles get crowded. It might be tough for those with large bags or big groups. I wanted some hot water or to order dessert after the meal, but the staff seemed very busy today so I decided to skip it. Next time, I'll try coming at a different time.
