I want to eat fish for 300 days, but sometimes you just crave meat, right? When you search for "Osaka Tennoji Yakiniku," the number one result that comes up is "Yakiniku Manno." This place is a well-known butcher shop in the area! The meat from butcher shops is always delicious! Manno is a wagyu wholesaler. Back when Manno was still doing wholesale business, they had a strong desire. "Farmers work hard to raise cows! I want customers to know that! I want to make sure they eat meat with more care! "Meat has various names for different parts, and each part has a different taste! I want people to know that!" However, this passion did not reach the yakiniku restaurants of that time. "But Manno, customers only know about kalbi and loin! Stop with the complicated stuff! "If you're going to say that, why don't you try it yourself!" So, in order to directly convey this message to consumers, they created "Yakiniku Manno." This place, located right near Tennoji Station North Exit, has a slightly more luxurious atmosphere compared to other stores. Of course, there are table seats as well, but it has an elegant atmosphere. There are many young couples here~ We shared the following dishes for two people: Wagyu Yukhoe, Namul assorted, Kimchi assorted, Upper tongue, Recommended 3 types (Hich, Sirloin, Misuji), Upper mino, Upper teppanyaki, Kotecchan, Biwaharami (with sauce, with salt), Yukkejang ramen, and Cold noodles. It was delicious, but something felt lacking... Maybe the portion was a bit small? Since we ordered a la carte, it ended up being a bit expensive. The course menu is extensive, so the course option may offer a better value! But for couples who want to enjoy a stylish meal in small portions because they can't eat a lot, this place might be perfect. The wagyu was delicious, as expected from a direct-operated butcher shop. The service and hospitality were impeccable, and the mood was always sparkling. Manno, who manages 10 stores in Osaka City, seems to have different classes for each store, so I want to visit all of them. I support them as a local! Thank you for the meal.

I enjoyed trying various cuts of meat for lunch. Although I don't usually eat yakiniku, when I go with my son, it's all about the meat! We ordered two affordable lunch sets of lean meat, which come with a choice of sauce or salt, Wakame sauce, Namul, and rice. The lean meat set for 2530 yen was very high-quality, with no fat and very reasonable. We also ordered Tan Yukke, Wagyu tongue, top loin, top skirt, ooltegi, and harami set, along with oxtail soup and 5 alcoholic drinks. The Wagyu tongue was delicious when lightly seared. The Tan Yukke was melt-in-your-mouth good. The lean meat lunch set was also delightful when lightly grilled and seasoned with salt. The top loin was tender and melted in the mouth. The top skirt had a pleasant texture, especially when eaten with salt and lemon. The ooltegi had a nice chewy texture when grilled. The oxtail soup was quite filling and tasty. We ended up adding the harami set and enjoyed it as well. Overall, it was a luxurious experience enjoying various cuts of meat for lunch. The atmosphere is perfect for a date, but as my time in Osaka is coming to an end, I indulged in delicious meat to my heart's content. Thank you for the feast!

I tried this restaurant after being influenced by the media, but I didn't feel as impressed as I had expected. Specifically, the trimming of the meat was amateurish, resulting in too many unnecessary parts. The service was good, but it lacked attention to detail. Considering the price range, I believe they could improve their performance a bit more.

We made a reservation for a semi-private room for 5 people, but we were guided to a space for 6 people which felt a bit cramped. We ordered the special course and finished it in about 2 hours. The pace of the service was a bit slow, but towards the end, we were suddenly full when the meat platter arrived. The grilling space is small, so I think it's best for 4 people to come. Overall, the flavors were subtle and delicious.

After shopping in Tennoji, I visited this restaurant without a reservation. I occasionally visit the Kitahatake branch, but this was my first time at this location. It's a stylish place with a counter at the top of the stairs in a building. We ordered a namul assortment, salad, harami, salt tongue, tantan sashimi, akami meat, and more. You cook the meat on a grill before ordering. The harami was tender and delicious. The raw tongue sashimi was a first for me. It had a smooth texture and melted in my mouth. I don't usually eat raw meat like yukhoe, but this was tasty. I might get hooked on it. All the meat was delicious. We finished with cold noodles topped with plenty of vinegar. The refreshing cold noodles after eating the meat was perfect. I often forget to take photos when I go to a yakiniku restaurant because I get so into grilling, so I can't post on food review sites, but my friend who came with me today kept saying "take a photo!" which was helpful (even though we still forgot to take some photos lol). The staff were efficient and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Tonight, I visited "Yakiniku Manno Tennoji Store" located right by Tennoji Station North Exit after a long time. The first time I visited was in 2017, when a fellow Tabelog reviewer invited me to the first offline meeting at this restaurant. This time, we sat at the counter on the second floor, where we could watch the chef cut the meat while it cooked. This special seat is highly recommended when dining with two people. The meat cooked on the grill, with charcoal emitting smoke, was exquisite. Charcoal grilling is said to be efficient as the far-infrared rays directly reach the ingredients, heating them quickly at high temperatures. The convenience of starting with just a switch and the minimal smoke from the roaster are also appreciated. Asking the chef about the cuts while watching him slice them in front of you before ordering adds a touch of sophistication to the yakiniku experience. My favorites were the domestic upper harami and the chewy brisket. I also enjoyed the quality of the upper mino. I believe the Wagyu tendon (yukke) is a must-try dish to accompany the yakiniku. With the increasing number of yakiniku restaurants in the Tennoji area, Manno's pricing may seem slightly higher, but the quality of the food does not disappoint. I particularly liked the lean, less fatty taste of the red meat. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will be back soon!

We visited Yakiniku Manya Tennoji with our family of three. We ordered two servings of Wagyu slend×2, Harami Yukke×1, Misuji×1, Top loin×3, Top Harami×1, Top lean meat×1, Top Akasen×2, Super fresh liver×1, Top intestines×1, White kimchi×2, Bibimbap×1, Large rice×1, Cold noodles×1, Draft beer×4, Oolong tea×2, total 29,255 yen. We enjoyed all the meats, especially the variety of delicious horumon (offal) options. The seasoning for the meats like yakiniku sauce, yukke, and slend were a bit light, possibly to enhance the natural flavors of the meats. The sauce container on the table, which was integrated with the plate, was small and made it difficult to dip the meat in the sauce. I used to frequent the Kitabatake branch many years ago, and I feel that the service has significantly declined since then. This may be due to the large number of customers coming to Tennoji.

I made a reservation for 7:30 PM! I ordered the Tan meat tasting set, featuring 4 different types of grilled meat, Kimchi and Namul assortment, premium tongue meat, a combination of Harami and Manno Wagyu beef, fresh hormone meat, Chisha cabbage, rice, and soup. The thick-cut tongue meat was the most delicious. They have both counter and table seating, suitable for various occasions. This place in Tennoji is a silver medal-winning restaurant for yakiniku!

I went to Mano after a long time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, and it wasn't too rowdy with just men, making it a nice place to enjoy yakiniku with female friends. There are various types of meat from different regions, so it's hard to say which one is the best, but this time, the tongue was the most delicious. The harami was also, of course, delicious.

Hello, this is Mark. They say that meeting is the beginning of parting. With my boss leaving at the end of March, we decided to hold a farewell party at short notice. I was in charge of choosing the restaurant, and it was quite challenging to find a place that could accommodate 7-8 middle-aged men with a reasonable price for all-you-can-drink. While everyone wasn't too picky, I personally wanted to have delicious food. After some consideration, I settled on Manosan, a yakiniku restaurant I had been to a few times before. They offered all-you-can-drink options and set courses at a reasonable price. The salted tongue, harami, and kalbi were all delicious, and the cost performance was still great. All the gentlemen who attended seemed satisfied, so it was a night where I felt fulfilled as the organizer.

I went to a restaurant called "Manno Livestock" where my former colleague now works. I remembered being taught how to trim meat by that colleague in the past. I had the Harami lunch for 1650 yen and a bottle of beer for 700 yen. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Yakiniku Manno has several branches, and this time I visited the Tennoji branch. The interior design looks very expensive! It has more of a teppanyaki restaurant atmosphere than a yakiniku place. As a result, the menu prices are on the higher side. The taste is good, but the portion size and value for money are lacking, which is why I gave this review. First, let's start with a comparison of four different types of tongue dishes. This is perfect for those who want to taste various types of tongue. Each one has a different texture to enjoy, but personally, I liked the thick-cut tongue the best haha. One great thing about this place is that many meat dishes are available in half sizes. (By the way, if you sit at the counter, you can even order just one piece.) So, I ordered the top kalbi and top loin in half sizes. The top kalbi had a surprisingly light flavor, while the top loin was rich with beautiful marbling. The brisket yakiniku is served with ponzu or sesame sauce instead of egg. This time, I enjoyed it with ponzu for a refreshing taste. The tetchan had a rich flavor and great texture. I also added the biwaharami and jaw in half sizes. The biwaharami was very light but still packed with meaty flavor. The jaw was a bit chewy, but the texture was enjoyable. As a rice dish, I ordered a sushi assortment, which was delicious as expected. And then, the cold noodles. It had a simple taste but was the perfect way to finish the meal. The counter seats are spacious, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. Of course, there are also table seats available. Yakiniku Manno Tennoji Branch If you want to have some crispy and delicious meat in Tennoji, head to Yakiniku Manno! The second-floor counter seats have one small charcoal grill for every two people. The atmosphere is a bit dim with a touch of luxury, and the staff are efficient and friendly. We tried various dishes such as Japanese beef slendro for 1,320 yen, Napa cabbage kimchi for 400 yen, Japanese beef harami for 2,400 yen, Japanese beef tongue for 2,400 yen, two pieces of jaw for 380 yen, Manno-ya kalbi (half) for 820 yen, meat sushi platter with three types (grilled upper kalbi, grilled brisket, grilled lean meat) for 1,400 yen each, wakame seaweed soup for 450 yen, black oolong tea for 450 yen, and ginger ale for 380 yen. Two of us, maybe ladies, enjoyed a decent amount of food. The yakiniku sauce comes in two varieties, and there are condiments like wasabi and rock salt. I particularly liked the wasabi. This time, we also tried the jaw, which was slightly chewy but delicious without any strong taste, so I would definitely order it again. JR Tennoji Station North Exit? Walk 1 minute and cross the wide pedestrian crossing, next to McDonald's and an izakaya? Go up the stairs to the second floor. At the top, there is a long L-shaped counter with seats for 2 people each, without partitions and with space between seats. I had the Harami lunch for ¥1,870. You can choose from large, medium, or small rice, and I chose medium. I asked for medium, but it sounded like small, so I confirmed medium. The lunch included white cabbage kimchi, bean sprout namul, rice, and a dark-colored soup. The Harami came with about 7-8 slices, around 120g I think, and was accompanied by cabbage. There were two types of sauce, without explanation: a Japanese-style sauce with a dashi flavor and a sesame oil? sauce. There was also rock salt. The meat was cooked on a charcoal grill, and you could season it with either sauce or salt. The flavor of the meat was mild and delicious.

I made a reservation through Tabelog for 6:30 PM on Saturday. I ordered the Namul assortment, which included burdock, bean sprouts, carrots, mushrooms, and komatsuna. The seasoning was not typical Namul style, but it was not too spicy, which was good. The bean sprout soup had thick bean sprouts that were crunchy. The meat selection included tongue salt, kalbi, lean meat, and loin. The lean meat was especially delicious.

Visited at 11:30 on Saturday with no other customers. Ordered to share the lean meat and harami. Hmm, seems like the portion of meat is a bit small for the price. It's kind of thin. I thought lunch sets were supposed to be more cost-effective, but apparently not here. The taste is okay. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice. It seems like you can also order from the regular dinner menu during the day, so it's more suitable for those who just want to have yakiniku from lunchtime onwards.

I had lunch at Yakiniku Manno Tennoji store, located very close to Tennoji Station. Lunch is only available on weekends and holidays. The interior of the restaurant, which is mainly counter seating, resembles more of a bar than a yakiniku restaurant. The placement of the shichirin (charcoal grill) is quite unusual, as it seems to be embedded inside the tables. This unique setup eliminates the need for conspicuous smoke exhaust systems, resulting in a very clean and stylish interior. I have been to various yakiniku restaurants, but this level of thought put into the interior design is rare, if not the first time I've seen it. This alone got me excited. I had the lean meat lunch, and the meat was delicious. What surprised me even more was the sauce. The sauce at this restaurant is really tasty. They provide a sauce with a rich dashi flavor and another with a spicy oil-like taste, both of which are unique and delicious. While nearby budget yakiniku restaurants also have a sauce with a dashi flavor, is it common in this area for yakiniku sauce to have a dashi base? Either way, it was delicious. The service at the restaurant was also excellent, making me realize that I must visit for dinner as well. It seems that you can also order the premium cuts for lunch, so I recommend making a reservation and enjoying a feast of grilled meat from noon. It was delicious. The meat is delicious, but the portion size and price are not balanced. It feels like the name of the restaurant is more famous than the actual food. I ordered meat sashimi, but it only came out towards the middle of the meal. The lettuce for wrapping the meat came out at the end. The bulgogi was frozen solid. The kimchi and namul platters were surprisingly bland. Is this place really famous for its barbecue? I muttered to myself. The interior is nice, but the tables on the third floor are dimly lit, making it hard to see if the meat is cooked. I've been here before when it first opened, and the food was also served very slowly. I don't remember the taste. I haven't been back since, so maybe that's just how it is. I should have done more research and opted for the skirt steak or short rib lunch instead.
