I used it on a Sunday night. I made a reservation for a waiting list on a reservation site, and it seems that about 20 groups were waiting ahead of me at 5:30 PM. I arrived around 6:30 PM. It was crowded with families. There were three all-you-can-eat options, and I chose the middle one. Drinks were separate, and since I came by car, I opted for the soft drink all-you-can-drink for 500 yen. It's a good deal for those who want to eat a lot. There were a few things that bothered me, such as a gap between ordering and receiving the food, the soft drinks being a bit weak overall, and the dessert plates not being warm.

・Standard Course I came here again because King's place I recently visited was not great. The thickness of the meat here really gives you a satisfying feeling. I can't say which one is better, but before I thought overall King's place was superior, but now looking at the cost-effectiveness, Sakai's place has significantly improved in quality, and my wife and I agreed on that.

Standard Course During the new coronavirus pandemic, my family rarely dined out for dinner, but recently we have started going out little by little, and the time has finally come to visit the yakiniku restaurant that my wife has been wanting to go to the most. In our neighborhood, there are two yakiniku restaurants, King and Sakai, which are the top choices with a focus on domestic beef all-you-can-eat menus. Among the various dishes we tried, I thought the domestic beef cut kalbi (salt marinade) was the most tender and delicious. Although the price for domestic beef kalbi is about twice as much as the cut kalbi, I thought the tenderness and flavor were better with the cut kalbi. Also, I found that the garlic butter filet tastes better when eaten without dipping it in the garlic butter sauce (depending on how it's cooked). Overall, I felt that King had the edge in terms of the size and thickness of the meat. The dessert system was such that you could only order the number of desserts corresponding to the number of people in your party.

A yakiniku restaurant where craftsmen cut carefully selected domestic beef into three different courses that you can choose from. The "Gokumi Kalbi" was delicious. It is thicker than regular kalbi and packed with flavor. The Gokumi Kalbi is marinated in sauce after making cuts in the stick-shaped meat, so when grilled over charcoal, you can enjoy juicy meat. Be sure to visit if you have the chance.

Located along Itsukaichi Street, there is a yakiniku all-you-can-eat restaurant called Nikumasa Sakai. Despite being all-you-can-eat, they really are meat masters! About a year later, I finally visited for the first time, arriving around 5:30 pm and waiting for about 40 minutes to be seated. You order using a remote control from your table, and the meat arrives in less than 10 minutes after ordering! It's quite fast. There is almost no stress after ordering, which is typical of all-you-can-eat places. I'm not sure if the staff is excellent or if the system is excellent, but it's really good. I ordered a variety of meats, but the Sakai Kalbi and thick-cut misuji were exceptional! Honestly, they are so good that I think they could be sold at a separate price, but the fact that they are included in the all-you-can-eat menu is fantastic! The price is 2,980 yen per person. The pudding for dessert was amazing. I will definitely bring my junior colleagues from work next time!

I went there for the first time on a weekday and it was quite crowded. They offer a buffet with a select course for 2580 yen and all-you-can-drink alcohol for 1280 yen, which is quite reasonable, so the customers seemed to be on the younger side. The taste was okay overall, with the thinly sliced beef being almost artistically thin (laughs). But considering the price, it was enjoyable to eat there.

I visited for lunch. Instead of ordering the lunch course, I chose from three different courses. The meat in the 3000 yen course was about the same as all-you-can-eat at other places. The only downside was that you could only order one dessert.

There was a family gathering and we chose this place because it can accommodate a large number of people comfortably. It's a yakiniku restaurant with all-you-can-eat options, and the spacious private rooms were a big plus. I was a bit nervous as I don't usually go to this type of restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu. It was so much fun! The all-you-can-eat options range from Select Course (2580 yen) to Premium Course (3980 yen). With the Premium Course, you can enjoy all 135 items on the menu for 2 hours (desserts limited to 1 per person). Seniors (60 years and above) get a 500 yen discount, and elementary school students pay half price, so we opted for the Premium Course. The drink all-you-can-drink option is 1280 yen (500 yen for soft drinks). I decided to go for the Premium menu with a star next to it! The portion size per serving was great, allowing you to indulge in whatever you like. The quality of the meat was surprisingly good, even the standard cuts were delicious. The Cheese Dakgalbi-style Basil Chicken was also enjoyable. The side dishes were plentiful, and I particularly liked the shredded cabbage salad with dressing. The vegetable sushi was a unique addition, and I appreciated being able to try new things without hesitation. The Kalbi soup was customizable in terms of spiciness, and I enjoyed adjusting it to my liking. The special cold noodles portion at the end was surprisingly normal-sized, which made me laugh! I ate until I felt like my stomach would burst. It was a fun experience. This place would be great for family gatherings like this one, as well as company outings. It's also a fantastic option for parents with young children, as kids under elementary school age eat for free. The only downside is that the touch screen ordering system is so enjoyable that you might end up overeating. Thank you for the delicious meal!

We visited a friend's house and had a great time together ☆ At night, our friend took us to a nearby yakiniku restaurant called "Nikusho Sakai". It was close to our friend's house, but about a 15-minute walk from Higashi-Koganei Station. The restaurant had a large and impressive appearance that was easily recognizable from afar along the main street! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we saw delicious looking meat! There were plenty of semi-private rooms, making it a perfect place for a mom's gathering. They offered three course options: Select, Standard, and Premium. This time, we chose the Select course. It was a 120-minute all-you-can-eat option with 72 items to choose from! You could also add a drink all-you-can option for an additional 2580 yen (excluding tax) or 1280 yen (excluding tax). And guess what! Children under elementary school age could get free drinks! Orders were placed using a touch panel. We started with a toast with beer! Since my daughter was very hungry, we ordered "Coarse Ground Sausage", "Tsukune", and "Potato" first. My daughter was enjoying the food, especially the potatoes! They were so delicious and crispy, like they had just been fried! The taste was amazing, and I wondered how they fried them. For adults, it's good to have some enzymes first! We started with "Kimchi Assortment" and "Namul Assortment"! For the meat, we chose salt for those that could be selected with salt or sauce! There was sauce prepared on the table, so those who preferred sauce could use it. The restaurant had a nice selection of salt that you wouldn't expect from an all-you-can-eat place. We all enjoyed grilling the meat together without any pressure! The meat was beautifully marbled with fat. We also tried "Kokuuma Shoga Horumon" and "Tsubozuke Yakiniku", which were delicious! It was fun to cut and grill them ourselves! We also had "Yakishabu Roast", which was similar to the high-end yakiniku restaurants! We grilled it on the net and enjoyed it. For dessert, we had "Kagomori Fromage", which was similar to the popular cage-shaped cheesecake! It was fluffy, soft, and rich! Since we visited in a large group, the all-you-can-eat option allowed us to order without worrying too much, making it a great choice. I wonder how different the quality of meat is between the Select and Premium options... I'd like to try it!

I rented a car and went to see cherry blossoms, then made a reservation through EPARK and went to Nikushokuzakai. It's a buffet-style restaurant. It gets pretty crowded on weekends, so it's better to make a reservation. The convenience of being able to make a reservation from your smartphone is much appreciated. This time, I decided to go for the top-tier "Premium Course" without drinks. With a total of 135 items including premium dishes like domestic beef fillet, premium cuts like flank and aged lean meat, kalbi, and loin, there was a wide selection to choose from. I started by ordering the premium items such as domestic beef fillet, flank, aged lean meat, kalbi, and loin one after another. The quality of the meat for just 3980 yen was definitely a steal! After finishing the meat dishes, I decided to try something different with the Basil Chicken Cheese Fondue. It was delicious to dip the chicken in the cheese fondue with gochujang after grilling it until crispy! The cheese fondue went well with shrimp, meat, sushi, bibimbap, and jeon. It was convenient to have the option to add more cheese as much as you like! Next, I tried the vegetable sushi. You can eat it with just vegetables, but why not add cheese or wrap it with meat since you have the opportunity? It's great that you can enjoy a variety of ways to eat. Grilling the wasabi separately and eating it is exceptional! For the finale, I had bibimbap. Of course, I topped it with grilled meat to add some variety to the dish. As for dessert, I underestimated the dessert at a buffet-style restaurant, but surprisingly, it was quite elaborate! Especially the "Fluffy Fromage in a Basket" was rich and creamy, dangerously delicious even when full! The Nikusho Melting Luxurious Pot Pudding was so creamy that it felt more like a drink! As for desserts, you can only have one per person at a time, but they are carefully selected and of high quality. I actually preferred having just one dessert at the end. However, I was tempted by the variety and wished I had gone with a larger group to try a little bit of everything. I wish there was a restaurant like this near my home. I would love to visit again during Golden Week or on a trip.

I always passed by a yakiniku restaurant right next to Koganei Park, along Gokaido, that caught my attention. I hadn't really looked at the name carefully before, but it seems to be called "Nikusho Sakai." Wasn't the name in hiragana before? It seems different. Recently, it looks like it has been renovated! I was looking for a venue for a parent-child meeting with middle school boys who are always hungry. Intrigued by the large sign that says all-you-can-eat domestic beef starting from around 2500 yen for a 2-hour limit, I went with three mom friends to check it out from the opening time of 5:00 pm! "This area is called Sakurazutsumi, so it must be beautiful when the cherry blossoms bloom, so we should do hanami too, right?" we said as we sat down. The exterior was clean and the seats were also clean. We chose the Standard course from the three levels of courses available: Select, Standard, and Premium. All-you-can-eat 114 items for 2980 yen excluding tax, and you can also eat meat sushi. Isn't that cheap?! If the child is in elementary school, it's half price, and children under elementary school age are free. I should have come earlier!! It's already the adult rate (laughs). But I eat quite a lot, so it's definitely worth it! Today, I only had two drinks without opting for all-you-can-drink, which costs 1280 yen excluding tax. Non-alcoholic all-you-can-drink is stated as 500 yen. It's still cheap, right? And the order is done through a touch panel. As a meat lover and a meat-eating dieter, every day is a "meat day" for me♪ It's not the "Year of Meat" in the Heisei era, but soon the Heisei era will end, and we won't have another "Year of Meat" in the Heisei era again. So, this time, we decided to go for yakiniku on a November holiday evening, and I had been curious about Sakai Yakiniku along Gokainichi Street for a while. According to their website, they are open from 4 pm on holidays, so we went around 4 pm without a reservation. I had wanted to visit this place several times before, but they don't serve lunch on weekdays and only open at 5 pm at night, so I had given up. The fact that they are open from 4 pm on weekends and holidays is very convenient for me, as I tend to have lunch out around 4 pm. I assumed that regular customers wouldn't come at 4 pm, so it would be empty, but I was wrong. Several groups of customers had made reservations online and were waiting in the waiting area. However, even without a reservation, they seated us at a window-side booth shortly after seating the reservation guests. I had always thought it was the "Sakai Yakiniku" sign, but it had been renovated and the sign had changed to "Nikushoku Sakai" with the slogan "All-you-can-eat domestic beef." I love all-you-can-eat yakiniku and shabu-shabu❤️ We ordered the 77-item Select Course (2787 yen per person) + All-you-can-drink soft drinks (540 yen per person) and placed our order using the tablet device on the table. We ordered items such as salted loin, salted pork belly, hormone, basil chicken, garlic salt/beef liver, garlic salt/tongue, selected loin, and salted selected kalbi. When grilling pork belly and hormone, the fire went up, maybe because of the oily meat? I couldn't grill them well. Still, the most delicious thing for me was the beef liver. Then, for dessert, a refreshing yuzu sherbet. Even though I was full without eating carbohydrates, I felt a bit incomplete due to the grilling mishaps. The yakiniku roaster fire was burning perfectly though...
