I went to Bistro Jil in Meguro! It's so stylish, the food is delicious no matter what you order, and the staff's customer service was great. When I'm at Jil, I always feel like having some sparkling wine. My favorite dishes are the Japanese beef carpaccio and the mushroom and pecorino cheese risotto. The cheese on top is light and easy to finish in one go. It goes well with wine too. The customers are all stylish people. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of counter seats, perfect for couples or girls' night out. Of course, there are also many tables, and there were a lot of people drinking in groups. It's easy to drink here, it's a great place! I will definitely go back again!

"JILL," a casual bistro, has relocated from the basement of a building in front of Meguro Station to the middle of Gonzo Hill. It is operated by Zillion Co., Ltd., which also manages "Pizzeria & Trattoria GONZO" and "Bar Sinatra." Despite visiting early on a weekday evening, the place was fully booked by 7 p.m., so make sure to make a reservation. The staff are friendly and seem to get along well. The atmosphere is like a Starbucks turned into an izakaya and it seems like a great place to work. The pricing of alcohol is reasonable, and they pour generously. I feel like I could become friends with the owner of this place. They also offer a variety of light alcoholic drinks like beer and sours, making it suitable for use as a Western-style izakaya. They value seasonal ingredients, as indicated by dishes marked with the "seasonal" symbol on the menu. One dish we tried was the "Seared sardines with water eggplant and green bean salad," which was juicy and delicious. The "Oyster and fatty eggplant ajillo" was a generous dish with plump oysters that paired well with white wine. The specialty "JILL's baked pate de campagne" was like a hamburger with an interesting texture. The "Sauteed beef heart" had a chewy texture and a strong iron-rich flavor that paired well with the miso sauce. They have a charcoal oven in the kitchen, so trying their hearty meat dishes is also recommended. For a carb dish to finish, we ordered the "Seared octopus and new ginger Staub rice," which was rich and flavorful with plenty of butter. It was of a quality that you would happily eat at a Japanese restaurant with a customer price of 50,000 yen. Overall, with drinks and food costing around 5-6,000 yen per person, this place is a perfect spot for drinking and dining, with a great atmosphere. It has a similar style to "Standing Drink Bistro SHINSante," but with more comfortable seating, making it a convenient choice. They also offer a 5,000 yen plan with all-you-can-drink, making it suitable for company drinking parties.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday at 7:00 PM. I called to request an earlier reservation time, and they kindly accommodated my request, allowing me to arrive about 30 minutes earlier than planned. I sat at the counter where I could see the chefs cooking, which was enjoyable. I ordered... a draft beer, bean sprout and spring vegetable namul, uff mayo tripe, orange wine, anchovy cabbage, lamb sausage, baked eggplant, and all of them were delicious. The sausage had a strong spice flavor and was very satisfying. The service was friendly, and I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

JILL Patcho, a mountain of fried potatoes, corn and truffle bruschetta, eggplant something, 4 cheese omelette, beef something, Ufumayo, oyster and mushroom ajillo, duck meatballs, sardine and green bean salad, and squid ink spaghetti. The omelette was especially delicious. The speed at which the dishes came out was incredibly fast. Also, the customer service was excellent. Thank you for the meal.

This is a stylish bistro restaurant that is ideal for dining with a large group of people, with seating for 65 and a layout featuring many counters. We ordered the "JILL Special Course" with all-you-can-drink, as well as dishes like "Braised Beef Cheek" and "Rich Chicken Liver Paste." The dishes were all of high quality and delicious, and we felt that ordering a la carte might be better than the course. Next time, we plan to order everything a la carte! The restaurant was packed with lots of customers! This popular bistro and bar in Meguro is always crowded, even on weekdays. The food is delicious and pairs well with wine. We ended up drinking three bottles of red wine with three people. I love sausages, especially lamb sausages! They were delicious! The carpaccio at the beginning was also tasty with a great sauce that went well with the drinks. We enjoyed trying a variety of dishes and had a great time. I went to the old mixed-use building without knowing that it had moved. The interior of the restaurant seemed to have expanded compared to before. It was still a popular place. Before I knew it, I was eating various dishes. Four women started with beer and wine, and ended up opening two bottles. When it comes to drinking, fried food is a must, right? The potato fries were delicious! I finished with cheese risotto and was very satisfied. It was so crowded even on a Thursday, so I'm sure it will be fully booked today, Friday. I was surprised to see that the sparkling wine I ordered for my first drink came in a glass that looked like a masu (a wooden box for measuring rice). It was a bit odd to have sparkling wine in a masu, unlike sake, but I finished it with a laugh. The food was all delicious, especially the potato salad which I liked so much that I ended up having three servings. The dessert was also tasty. Thank you for the meal.

A popular izakaya located in a semi-basement. It has a stylish atmosphere and is easy for both women and men to visit with friends. I visited on a Friday night and it was very lively. We sat at the counter with two people, but it was still difficult to hear the voices of the people next to us. It's not ideal for a quiet date. Order hearty dishes like steak and potatoes. It has moved from the basement floor in front of Meguro Station and opened a new location. Both the old and new locations are packed with customers. The staff is as cheerful as ever. The table space is small and the seats are close together, so it's not very spacious. But the cost performance is good. I was looking for a stylish izakaya and ended up at this place, and it was a big hit ❤️❤️❤️ This corn and truffle bruschetta was delicious and not easily found in other restaurants. There were only young people! It's not a calm atmosphere, but rather lively. The menu names sound delicious, making it hard to decide! Be careful not to order too much as each dish is quite filling. The shrimp and watercress bistro dumplings were especially delicious. The skin was chewy, and the shrimp inside was juicy and tasty. I highly recommend this dish. Overall, the flavors were quite strong and felt a bit too salty. But as long as you don't eat too quickly, it should be okay!

A shop that I keep going back to. They have classic menu items but also frequently change their seasonal dishes, so I never get bored. I recommend the anchovy cabbage and shrimp with watercress dumplings from their regular menu. Their signature Staub rice changes its contents, but everything is delicious! I believe this shop offers the best value for the price.

This place never disappoints, always meeting my expectations in Meguro. I used to go there often before moving, but had trouble getting in. However, they moved to a larger space that solves that problem. They have a great selection of delicious wines, creatively seasoned dishes, and always satisfying meats. I feel like trying lamb, which is popular, but without any strong smell, so if you were hesitant before, there's nothing to worry about. You'll definitely love it.

When I first entered the restaurant, I couldn't tell how busy it was inside, but as soon as I opened the door, I could see how popular it was. We chose the all-you-can-drink course for ¥5,000 this time, and we were really impressed by the value for money. The food was delicious too. We visited the second restaurant. We were undecided on what to order, but they kindly informed us that they could provide half the portion and price. Following my visit to Sinatra, I hesitated between there and here, but ultimately decided to end the night at JILL! This was my second visit. We enjoyed the famous overflowing sparkling white wine with long yam pickles, and for the finale, we had the recommended grilled beef harami, flatfish, and grilled leeks with Staub rice in Chardonnay butter. The Staub rice changes monthly, and this time it was different from the lemon truffle butter rice with golden threadfin bream and Kyoto leeks from last time, but it was just as delicious. The finale set, in terms of both taste and cost performance, is currently the best combination. The service was excellent as always. The portions of the roast and rice were generous, and the total bill for two came to just over 5,000 yen, making it an outstanding value!
