In Oita Prefecture, there is a specialty yakiniku restaurant that serves delicious beef from Bungo cattle. They are very particular about the quality of the meat, and you can enjoy incredibly fresh and tasty cuts. Their lunchtime limited rare hamburg steak is also very popular. The rare hamburg steak set is available in 150g for 1200 yen or 200g for 1500 yen. You can add a raw egg for 100 yen, and the set comes with salad, soup, and rice. Additional sauce and rice refills are free. This luxurious hamburger steak is made from 100% Japanese beef. You can choose your preferred doneness, whether you like it rare like yukhoe or well-done. I arrived at the restaurant around 1:00 pm for lunch and it was almost full. Since I was dining alone, I sat at the counter seats with a view of the open kitchen. Last time, I had the popular rare hamburger steak (200g), so this time I chose the Japanese beef yakiniku set meal. It was available in 100g for 1,500 yen, 150g for 1,800 yen, and 200g for 2,300 yen, and I chose the 200g option. The set meal came with a large vegetable salad, a light beef bone soup, and rice with free refills. I opted for extra rice. I didn't catch the name of the meat cut, but I made sure not to overcook it, just searing the surface before eating it with sauce. It was quite tender and easy to eat, and the sauce was delicious. Since the portion was generous, having extra rice was a good choice. Next time, I might try the premium Japanese beef set meal with 150g for 3,000 yen. The total bill was 2,980 yen (set meal 200g for 2,300 yen, large bottle of beer for 680 yen). Thank you for the meal, I will definitely visit again.

I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened, it was my first visit. Since I was alone, I sat at the counter seat right in front of the open kitchen. The most popular dish is the rare hamburger steak set, and I decided to go for the 200g option instead of the usual 150g. I added a raw egg on top. All lunch sets come with salad, beef bone soup, and rice. I also added extra sauce for the hamburger steak, requested a larger portion of rice, and got a free refill of rice. The rare hamburger steak was served on a 15cm square iron plate, with a seared surface but the meat inside was truly rare. The staff instructed me to cut the hamburger steak into four pieces. I poured the sauce from the iron plate onto the white rice, then mixed the hamburger steak and raw egg together. It was delicious. The total bill came to 1,600 yen (1,500 yen for the set, 100 yen for the raw egg). I will definitely visit again.

The restaurant was full again this time. I ordered the special salted tongue, which was delicious and visually stunning last time, but when it arrived, I was so surprised that I stared at it in disbelief. It looked completely different from last time, almost like a different dish. I felt embarrassed to have invited my relatives because the appearance was not very good, so I cooked it before taking any pictures. Last time, the meat had cuts in it, but this time it didn't, and the size of the meat was about half as small. The taste was still delicious, just like last time, but the difference in appearance was very disappointing. I also ordered the Sotohira, which was tasty last time, but this time the appearance was quite different as well. All the meats were very delicious, but I was surprised that the size and appearance could vary depending on the day, which was disappointing. We stayed for the 2-hour seating limit until the last order, but as it got closer to the end, they started clearing the dishes quickly, making us feel rushed to finish. The male staff who served us last time was very polite, but one of the female staff who served us this time seemed to be in a bad mood, as she didn't smile at all. The taste was very delicious, and I had a great impression on my first visit, but... Anyway, the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I was in the mood for meat, so I decided to try this place that I had been curious about for a while. They had counter seats that were easy to use even for one person. I was torn between the rare hamburger and the grilled Japanese beef set, but I wanted to have some meat so I ordered the 150g grilled Japanese beef set. It's nice that you can choose the grams. The set came with salad, soup, and rice. The salad could have been a bit colder. The meat was fresh and delicious. However, I was a bit concerned about the grill. Was it just me? Even though the heat wasn't too strong, the meat burnt easily. But the inside was still raw... Maybe I'm not good at grilling.

If you want to eat yakiniku in Tennoji, this highly recommended restaurant is a must-visit. It opens at 5 pm, but it quickly gets crowded, so reservations are essential. In addition to the items listed on the menu, they will show you the daily recommendations, with the most popular being Sotohira, where you wrap leeks around thigh red meat, prepared by the staff. Other recommended dishes include Hiuchi and Negi Shio Tan. The leeks in the Negi Shio Tan are added later, so they stay fresh and you can wrap them around the tongue without them falling off while grilling. Order: Bean sprouts, Namul, Negi Shio Tan, Nagaimo (wrapped in plum and large leaf), Chateaubriand, Sotohira, Hiuchi, Morioka cold noodles (there is also a Korean-style option). Once again, it was a highly satisfying experience. Thank you for the feast!

Two people visited the restaurant. It was a Friday night, so the spacious interior had a calm atmosphere with lights that made the meat look even more delicious. There seemed to be many customers and staff. The meat was delicious! I recommend the ribeye. Maybe because of my age, I couldn't handle the fat towards the end of the meal. The yukhoe only tasted like sesame oil, which was a bit disappointing. I want to try the hiochi next time! I also want to try the hamburger they serve during lunch hours.

I visited for lunch for the first time! Despite it being a weekday, the restaurant was full of customers. The lunch prices are relatively reasonable for being able to eat yakiniku! However, the yakiniku was not at a level where I would want to come back for more. It was delicious, but not outstanding. I recommend trying the hamburger instead! The rare hamburger, mixed with egg and other ingredients, was delicious!

This was my first time trying out Yakiniku Hormone Bungo. Although Sakai Higashi is the closest to my home, I decided to go to Tennoji because I haven't explored the area in a while. I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. This time, I ordered a course with all-you-can-drink at the counter. The first beer I had was so delicious, especially in the hot weather during the day! The meal started with salad and yukhoe. The meat sashimi had plenty of marbling and tasted great with wasabi soy sauce. Yeah, it was delicious! After that, I tried tongue, harami, and other cuts, all of which were cooked well. I also felt like trying hormone and liver, so I added those to my order. I got a bit carried away and had to really focus to finish everything with a full stomach. Next time, I might try ordering various items a la carte. The young staff members were working hard, and I got a positive impression. I know they must be busy, but I will continue to support them. When it comes to eating yakiniku in Tennoji, my only choice is Bungo (´^ω^`)ブフォwww There are no other options available (´^ω^`)ブフォwww However, you have to make a reservation in advance, sometimes even if you call a week ahead, it may not be possible to get a booking (´TωT`). Today, I didn't even plan to go to Bungo for dinner, I was just wandering around thinking if there is a nice place to eat, I'll go there (・∀・). Then, right in front of me, there was Bungo (´^ω^`)ブフォwww Even though I knew it was 99% impossible, I decided to give it a shot and asked a staff member standing by the stairs, who happened to be seeing off a customer, the standard line, "I don't have a reservation, can I still get a table?" (・∀・) Unexpectedly, Edison appeared! It was not a stroke of genius, but a miracle happened! I was just happy to sit down at a table (´^ω^`)ブフォwww I have been to Tennoji before, but this was my second time at Bungo. I always sit at the counter, where you can watch the staff cut the meat right in front of you, which is a nice view (˶ᐢωᐢ˶). The dish I always order at Bungo is "Sotohira"♡ The staff grills it for you, cuts it into bite-sized pieces, and serves it to you (˶ᐢωᐢ˶). It's so delicious! Another dish I usually have is the sirloin yukhoe, but since it contains raw ingredients, I have to wait until after giving birth (´ฅωฅ`). I highly recommend trying it! You can ask as many questions as you want about the meat being cut in front of you, and if it looks delicious, you'll want to try it (笑). I ordered the marbled salted tongue (tongue base) and garlic rice, which looked delicious, and imagined ordering the Namu Mori, Oikimu, Enoki Butter Yukhoe, and Jansu Soup! I arrived around 11:10 before the opening, but there was already a line! I was worried if I could make it for the first round, but luckily I did. I chose the 200-gram hamburger with the optional egg. The recommended way to eat it was to mix the egg with the hamburger in a sukiyaki style, but when I tried it with a hamburger on top of TKG (tamago kake gohan), it was so delicious! The only downside was that the bottled beer was warm. Despite that, I will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Visited during the daytime (* 'ᵕ' )☆ Arrived 10 minutes before opening and there were already 3 people in line. As soon as the restaurant opened, I was seated at the counter, and I ordered the Rare Hamburg Steak Set with 200g of cheese topping (1700 yen). The set came with salad and soup, and rice refills were free. The hamburg steak was quite rare when it arrived! It felt like I was eating Yukhoe (Korean raw beef dish) because the inside was cold. Personally, I prefer it when the meat is cooked a bit longer in the sauce, but the flavors were still excellent and the rice was delicious. The staff were attentive and I had a good impression of them. Just a heads up, the door at the exit was very heavy, so be careful when leaving (*´︶`*)ノ

I went to the popular Rare Hamburger restaurant around 11:10 and there was already a line forming. I was able to get in on the first round. The lunch set comes with salad, soup, and free rice refills. The soup had a strange taste, I couldn't really figure it out. The rare hamburger is made with 100% Japanese beef. It used to be Yukke, so it can be eaten raw. The sauce seemed to be a ponzu-based sauce. It was a bit strong with vinegar when drinking it, but it went well with the rice. Honestly, I prefer my hamburgers hot. It's worth trying once just for the novelty. The Japanese beef set was delicious, but the meat wasn't particularly tender.

The meat tea pickles were very delicious. All the meats were also delicious. The staff were kind and there was a service where they would cook items that required a special technique. However, the pricing is not cheap, so I would like to go on a special occasion.

Arrived on Sunday after 1:00 PM. Waited for about 30 minutes because there was a line. Ordered the Rare Hamburger 150g for 1,200 yen including tax with a cheese topping for an additional 200 yen including tax. Wanted to try the Wagyu Yakiniku Lunch 200g for 2,300 yen including tax but it was sold out. The Rare Hamburger was delicious, but the yakiniku was just okay as the meat was tough. The sauce had a sour taste that I didn't particularly like. Overall, it wasn't worth waiting in line for. Payment accepted by card or cash.

A popular restaurant known for their hamburg steak. I felt like eating yakiniku, so I ordered the premium Japanese beef set meal (including tax, 3000 yen). It was incredibly tender and the rice went down easily. Next time, I want to try the hamburg steak. It's best to aim for lunch yakiniku since they are fully booked for dinner.

Located near Tennoji, this popular yakiniku restaurant is so busy at night that it's hard to get a reservation. Today, I visited for lunch. The hamburger is said to be popular, but I ordered the premium Japanese beef set instead. It was my first time trying Oita beef, and it was tender with a sweet flavor from the marbling. I think the quality of the meat for the price of 3000 yen is quite reasonable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice, making it a good place even for solo yakiniku dining.

I arrived on Saturday around 11 o'clock and there were 3-4 customers ahead of me, but I was able to get in at the opening. I ordered the rare hamburger steak lunch set (200g) with an egg on top. The outside was nicely browned, but the inside was rare, which I liked because I could adjust the cooking to my liking. It was very delicious. The yakiniku (grilled meat) also looked very tasty and I wanted to try it... I will definitely come back again.

I made a reservation by phone around 5:30 pm on Saturday. They said it was okay for 3 people to come in 10 minutes. I was happy to see they had Akahoshi bottled beer, but it wasn't cold enough. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Namul assortment, Negi Shio Tan (2 servings), Yukke (1 serving), premium liver (2 servings), Harami (2 servings), and Wakatama soup (1 serving). The Tan was a bit tough, and while everything was tasty, nothing really stood out. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived at 12:05 and waited on the stairs for about 20 minutes. (There were around 10 people in line) I ordered the Rare Hamburg Steak set meal (with unlimited rice) for 1500 yen. It came with rice, salad, and soup. It took about 10 minutes for the food to be served. The center of the hamburg steak was cold, so I cut it in half to cook it through. When I tried it, I enjoyed the fluffy texture and the taste of the Japanese beef. If you plan to use it for lunch break, be aware that time is quite tight.
