In winter, I always think that I want to eat blowfish at least once a year. So, I went to the main store of Osaka Torafugu-kai. It is located on the 6th floor of an old building near Teradacho. I went with a junior teacher, and we were provided with a private room. We started with Oolong tea and blowfish milt soup. The rich soup got me excited. We made a fresh ponzu sauce with soy sauce and yuzu. We had blowfish skin and hot water blanched blowfish. They were garnished with gold powder, making it quite luxurious. Then we had thickly sliced tessa and a very rare blowfish simmered dish, which was a first-time experience for me. Next came the main dish of this restaurant, grilled blowfish. Since the famous gourmet Eiichiro Funakoshi passionately praised the deliciousness of grilled blowfish at the best restaurant of his life, I also became fascinated with it. We grilled blowfish on a roaster, including salt-grilled skin and distant body parts. The skin was definitely tastier than grilled meat, and the distant body parts were quite delicious. We also had a blowfish roe pizza as an interval. Then we had grilled skin, distant body parts, and black uguisu spice-grilled dishes. The spice used was an original seasoning of this restaurant, adding blowfish salt to shichimi. The grilled dishes were all delicious. We took a short break with blowfish tempura. We also had grilled skin, neck meat with soy sauce, and additional grilled neck meat, which is a rare part that can only be taken from one fish. The grilled dishes were all amazing, especially the neck meat with soy sauce. The last dish of grilled blowfish was the grilled upper body with grated radish and soy sauce. The quality of the upper body was outstanding. Finally, we had a beautiful tecciri. The ingredients were cooked in a pot and then served. We enjoyed a delicious tecciri. As a finale, we had a whitefish porridge, which was topped with grilled blowfish milt. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Dessert was ice cream, and we finished with tea. The bill was surprisingly 20,000 yen per person, but the satisfaction level was extremely high. It was a real and delicious experience. Thank you for the meal.

Summer fugu is delicious. I enjoy it while the different parts are explained to me. I also have Tessa and Teppi with original ponzu sauce made right in front of me. The ponzu sauce has a wonderful aroma. Grilled fugu tastes almost like meat. It fills me up slowly but surely, and I am satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Warm shirako served as sushi, the testes and sperm sacs are lightly seasoned with ponzu sauce, grilled shirako is creamy, and the ovaries are grilled and the sticky mouthfeel is fried. You can enjoy different textures for each part of the fugu, so you won't get tired of it. I heard there are also shops in Tokyo, so I will definitely go try it out.

Tora Fugu no Kai Honten. I had heard about it, but was surprised to find it here. Once inside the building, there was a proper shop. They took care of everything. We ordered the shirako separately. The concept of grilled fugu changed for me. It goes well with red wine! They have half bottles of Rindo which is great for someone like me who wants to drink sake, beer, and highballs. They asked about the amount for the final zosui. I ordered a small, but I think a medium would have been fine. The service was excellent and I was very satisfied. They hung my jacket in a different room, but my bag still picked up some smell, so be careful. The ventilation in the building was a bit smoky due to construction on the ventilation fan. It was delicious. There are no photos of the grilled fugu. (laughs) Thank you for the ponzu sauce as a souvenir.

I was invited by a friend's couple to visit their place for the first time. It was located in a room in a building with no sign, so I hesitated to ring the doorbell. I had a fugu course with grilled shirako (market price)... shirako soup, yubiki (blanched fugu skin), tessa (thinly sliced fugu sashimi), karaage (fried fugu), salt-grilled fugu, hot pot, etc. Everything was served by the host, and it was truly the best. It was the most delicious fugu I have ever had!

A completely members-only restaurant. It's located in a room in the Fugu Club Mansion. You wouldn't know it's there unless you're a member. Each floor is made up of private rooms, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying about others. The white fish soup is exceptional. You can have as many bowls as you want. I indulged in the grilled and sashimi dishes, it was so luxurious. I forgot to take a picture, but the fin sake was also excellent. The food was so delicious, I was in the best mood.

I went there after a long time! The food was delicious as always, and my friends were satisfied too. We also had pike conger that day. It was tasty, and I tried blowfish for the first time, which was also delicious. I was surprised to see that the complimentary gift had changed from rice crackers to ponzu sauce.

In a certain apartment in Terada-cho, there is a completely members-only shop. There is no sign, and you have to go up to the 6th floor of a quite old-fashioned apartment building. When you open the door, you will see a hanging scroll of "Osaka Fugu Association" and a luxurious space that you would never imagine from the exterior of the building. Each floor is a private room, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying about the surroundings. We were guided to a private room and the course started. White fish sperm sashimi, hot pot, tessa, chawanmushi, fried fugu, grilled white fish sperm, fugu ovary pizza, grilled fugu, fugu hot pot, dessert. It was a truly luxurious fugu course. The service from the staff was excellent, and it was a very good restaurant experience. Thank you very much for the meal.

★Osaka Torafugu no Kai Main Store★ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ A series of restaurants I've always wanted to try! Torafugu no Kai The entrance looks like a room in an apartment, making it hard to find the location. This time, I was taken there by the president I am grateful to for my birthday present. First, we had Torafugu skin with gold flakes! The ponzu sauce was incredibly delicious. Next was Fugu sashimi! The grilled Shirako (milt) was irresistible. And then, the Shirako soup. It was unbelievably delicious. I could probably drink 10 bowls of this. I doubt anyone would say it's not good. It's truly amazing. After being amazed, it was time for Fugu fin sake. The staff turned off the lights in the room and served the fin sake, creating a special atmosphere. It's definitely Instagram-worthy. From fried Fugu to grilled Fugu, we enjoyed every dish. The salt-grilled Fugu was followed by garlic soy sauce, which had a luxurious aroma. I wanted seconds... I can't resist the deliciousness. Lastly, we had Tecchiri. The larger the Fugu, the bigger the fins. It was incredibly delicious. I had two bowls of the porridge as a finish. Thank you for the feast. Looking forward to enjoying the premium course next time.

The other day I visited this place for the first time, which is a membership-based restaurant. As a fugu lover, I was very excited. First, there was a performance with finsake, where blue flames were lit and poured into the drink, which was a sight to behold. Next, I tried the tessa fugu, which had a crunchy texture and a refreshing taste unique to white meat, and before I knew it, I had finished it. It was a blissful moment. Then I had salted hand-pressed sushi, where the salt used included fugu spines, showing the attention to detail in this restaurant. The best dish for me was the shirako, which was creamy but in a whole different league, immersing me in its creamy richness. It was so delicious that I couldn't help but close my eyes in delight. The meal continued with soup, grilled fugu, and tempura hotpot. The grilled fugu showcased the excellence of fugu, with its high fat content and intense seasoning, almost resembling pork. The sight of the oil catching fire on the hot plate was unexpected for a fish dish. Lastly, I had the hotpot as a finale, which was a perfect way to end the meal. Fugu hotpot is a classic and this one did not disappoint. The chewiness of the fugu and the various transformations from one fish made the experience fresh and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was surprisingly homey, with children's voices coming from the next room. Although I had imagined membership-based restaurants to be heavy and dark, this one was quite the opposite. It was a delicious experience. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the main store of Osaka Torafugu Kai for the first time in a year, and the grilled shirako is really delicious! The fried fugu also has a lot of white meat, so I'm very satisfied haha. This shop is a members-only establishment, so first-time visitors cannot enter. I was taken here by a friend who is a member. The shop is located in a room in a building, with no sign or name at the entrance. You may not find it without someone to guide you. I wondered if anyone would come to such a place, but it seemed busy during the winter fugu season. The food was all delicious, especially the grilled fugu. Only course meals are available, but you can also add individual dishes. Drinking and eating here costs around 15,000 yen per person. It truly is a sophisticated establishment, and I would like to visit again.

Since it's a members-only establishment, it was hard to find the entrance. It looked like a regular apartment building! After making a reservation, I was given a password to enter. As soon as I got off the elevator, I found the restaurant right away! The fugu dishes were all delicious! The grilled shirako in particular was amazing! You can choose between salt and sauce, but I recommend the salt!
