My daughter invited me to a restaurant to express her gratitude, and I was pleasantly surprised by the upgraded level of the cuisine. I had champagne and Perrier, while my husband opted for the 7-course wine pairing. The lunch course was a fixed price of 3,960 yen including tax and service charge. The dishes included: 1. Consomme with mushroom aroma 2. Red wine braised deer meat teriyaki burger with Treviso and capers 3. Amberjack, avocado, and pear tartare with crab meat, lettuce, and caviar topped with remoulade sauce 4. Pan-seared lobster with chrysanthemum and foam sauce 5. Low-temperature cooked foie gras in a peanut butter and rum raisin cream with coffee jelly 6. Nagasaki squid wrapped in kadaifi with Parmesan cheese and sauteed spinach sauce 7. Risotto with sauteed mackerel, mackerel liver sauce, and clam broth 8. Shinshu premium beef fillet with Jus de Boeuf sauce, chestnut puree, sauteed burdock, and shiitake mushrooms topped with Himalayan truffle 9. Sweet potato ice cream with roasted walnuts, sweet potatoes, lemon peel confit, and Mimolette cheese foam 10. Apple pie reconstruction with apple sorbet, caramel-flavored custard cream, warm apple sauce, and apple puree sorbet made from red apples 11. Herbal tea with honey and apple scent. The service was impeccable, and the chef's skills were evident in the delicious seafood dishes and perfectly cooked meat dishes, without any toughness. The wine pairing options were excellent, with a variety of wines from around the world. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and my daughter is already looking forward to going back.

Anyway, what's amazing is the cost performance. And the atmosphere. It's quite surprising, almost like a peach tree level (maybe a bit old-fashioned haha). This time, I was going to Osaka, so I did some research on restaurants. I made a reservation at this popular casual French restaurant with a reasonable price. When I arrived, the building it was in was a messy commercial building, with no sense of luxury. Well, it's casual French, so I thought as I headed to the restaurant, but there was a completely different world inside. A gorgeous atmosphere that feels like a different dimension from the surroundings. The seating space was a bit narrow, but the interior was elaborate with marble and a central kitchen like a stage, creating a luxurious feel. And all the plates were stylish. They used a lot of Hermes tableware, allowing you to enjoy an extraordinary experience. The dishes were all elaborate and visually stunning. There were many courses, and there were elaborate presentations like smoking right in front of you, or pouring clam chowder from an Arita ware teapot on the table. The fish and meat were mostly cooked at low temperatures, with great textures and fun elements like horse meat being served in a Monaka and eaten by hand from an Hermes can. All of this for only 5280 yen including tax is truly unbelievable. Also, the wine pairing with 7 types of wine in 20ml, 40ml, and 60ml options, with the standard 40ml costing around 5800 yen for all 7 glasses. This was also a shocking price. And each wine had its own uniqueness and was delicious. The waitress who brought the dishes and explained the wines was cute and kind. For a restaurant of this caliber, the quality of both the food and wine would easily cost double. However, in terms of taste preference, I personally wouldn't say it's the best. There was a slight feeling that some of the dishes were partially prepared in advance and that couldn't be completely hidden, but it's understandable given the effort put into these dishes for this price. For French cuisine beginners, this place would be impressive. It's more than enough for young couples to enjoy without worrying about their wallets, making it a great recommendation for special occasions like anniversaries.

The atmosphere and food were great. Although there was a slight delay, they kindly accommodated us. You can choose between pork and beef for the main dish, but I recommend choosing beef. The variety of dishes was so exciting that I enjoyed every moment until the end.

Pluie dete, which means "summer rain" in French, was a cool and refreshing restaurant with a marble, white, and blue color scheme. They only offer set course lunches and dinners. When I arrived, I was surprised to see that almost all the customers were wearing the same outfit, so I wished I had come earlier. The tableware was Hermes, featuring sketches of animals from the Ecuadorian jungle, which was a feast for the eyes. The main course was a prefix meal with my partner's favorite, black wagyu fillet. I opted for a small wine pairing as I had more drinking plans later on. The dishes, drinks, and conversations were all enjoyable, so I apologize for not remembering the exact details of the food. The wine pairing included a variety of wines from France, California, and even Kyoto, with the Panamera Chardonnay being a favorite. The staff were all wonderful and unique, providing excellent service. The pricing was impressive for the quality and experience offered. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable dining experience.

The foie gras chawanmushi was excellent! The atmosphere was great and didn't feel like a station building. It seems like there's not much that can be changed, but it would be nice if the seating was a bit more spacious and if bread was served before the main dish. After the meal, we had tea, but it would have been even better if we could choose between coffee and tea. We had a pleasant dining experience. Thank you very much.

I had heard that there was a cost-effective French restaurant on the first floor of Osaka Station Building, so I decided to check it out. The set course with wine pairing was around 16,000 yen per person, which was indeed a good deal. Although there was an additional cost for upgrading to a premium main dish, I opted for the black wagyu fillet since I wanted to make the most of the experience. As someone with a big appetite, I found the portion size to be a bit small, but it might be just right for those who prefer lighter meals when ordering the course menu.

I made a reservation for a lunch course. In addition to the course price, there is an 8% service charge and you must order one drink per person. I was asked to choose the meat for the course, and I chose the fillet without knowing how much extra each meat option would cost. As a result, the fillet I ordered ended up being 1800 yen more per person. There were four meat dishes to choose from, but I didn't realize the additional cost and ended up with a higher bill than expected. The taste of the dishes was excellent, but the portion sizes were small, so I personally found it a bit unsatisfying. In terms of cost performance, I didn't think it was that great, but the food was really delicious.

I visited this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was convenient to access from Osaka Station without going above ground, which was great in this hot weather. The restaurant was lovely, the food was delicious, and the staff were very attentive. The birthday plate was also very cute and we were very satisfied.

Since hearing that Gran Roche's second store opened in Umeda, right in front of the station building, I have been wanting to visit but haven't had the chance until now. This time, four middle-aged ladies visited the restaurant together. Location: Located in the Osaka Station building group, in just one building. When I first heard about this location, I was surprised and somewhat shocked. The entrance is only accessible from the outside, but once you step inside, you can see the delicate yet striking corner of the restaurant. Interior: The website states there are 24 seats, but the layout is focused on tables for two towards the back. Since we were a group of four, we were guided to a table for four at the back. The lunch was naturally fully booked on this day. The monochrome and transparent space exudes a sense of elegance. However, the tables for two are not very spacious, so there may be a slight feeling of crowding. Nevertheless, the fact that this space is located in the "Osaka Station building" is truly impressive and commendable. We opted for the "Lunch Course (8-9 dishes) for 4,180 yen including tax." The pairing course also allows you to choose the portions, which is a nice touch. And of course, almost all the tableware is from Hermès, which is incredibly lovely. Food: The lunch course included a variety of dishes such as corn ice cream, avocado mousse and sweet shrimp mini tart, duck meat with milk sauce, scallop fritter with egg yolk sauce, fish burger-style sandwich, mushroom and shrimp gratin, seafood pie, black wagyu fillet, and dessert (almond tofu ice cream/peach compote). The cold appetizers were refreshing, warm appetizers were delightful, and the main course of fish and meat was satisfying. The desserts were also a perfect ending to the meal. Pairing: The pairing included a selection of wines from New Zealand, Tamba Winery, California, Languedoc, Bordeaux, and Hungary, as well as champagne at the beginning. The variety and quality of the pairings were truly enjoyable and added to the overall experience. Overall, the high cost performance, delightful pairing, and wonderful French cuisine make this restaurant a must-visit in Osaka Station. Special thanks to the staff for accommodating our dietary restrictions. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience!

The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of Osaka Station Front Building with Hermès-designed interior and Hermès tableware. The food was delicious and intricately prepared, such as corn ice cream, small tart, duck meat with ratatouille, scallop beignet, conger eel soup, flounder pie with anglaise sauce, and pork almond tofu for dessert. Despite the affordable course menu, the wine selection is a bit pricey with limited options due to the younger crowd frequenting the place. The restaurant was fully booked, and I would love to try their lunch menu next time. I wish I had asked how often the menu changes. Thank you for the wonderful meal! #Pluiedete #UmedaFrench #UmedaGourmet #KitashinchiFrench #KitashinchiGourmet #HermèsTableware #HermèsDesign #UmedaItalian #KitashinchiItalian #Innovative

This restaurant received high ratings in all aspects. The dishes, though small in portion, were elaborate and the tableware was top-notch. The staff, especially the sommelier-in-training, provided excellent service. They were attentive in selecting wines that complemented the dishes and their friendly customer service was exceptional. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

I was able to enjoy delicious food at a great cost-performance ratio. There were many dishes to choose from, allowing me to enjoy various flavors. I upgraded my main dish to filet mignon, which was worth the additional charge for its deliciousness. There were also two dessert options available. The staff explained the restaurant rules in a polite manner, making it easy for even first-time visitors to feel comfortable. I look forward to visiting again.

I visited this place mainly because it was close to where I was staying. The staff were attentive and the food was well explained. I particularly enjoyed the white wine from Tango, as it was a type I had never tried before. The wine pairing with 7 different wines (each 60ml) was a highlight of the experience.

I heard from an acquaintance that there is a cheap and delicious French restaurant in the building in front of the station, so I made a reservation and visited. I thought that at a price of 5,280 yen for a full-fledged French course, the food might not be that great, but I had some expectations. When I went there, I was able to enjoy a full-fledged French course and each dish was carefully prepared. It may not be filled with luxury ingredients, but you can definitely enjoy delicious food. I recommend this place. Thank you for the meal!

I get pretty tipsy after three glasses of wine, so I really appreciate small portion pairings. The wine and dishes are delicious on their own, but combining them makes each bite and sip three times more enjoyable. I could feel the owner and staff's desire for guests to casually yet thoroughly enjoy French cuisine. I sensed a warm and cool vibe that's typical of the Kansai region. ^_^

Here, I visited a popular and reasonably priced innovative restaurant in Kansai, as part of the Kansai Top 100 Restaurants tour using the Tabelog online reservation system on a holiday evening. The restaurant had 24 seats and was located in a corner of an old mixed-use building, creating a trendy atmosphere. I ordered the 5280 yen dinner course when making the reservation. The overall quality of the ingredients was modest, perhaps reflecting the price. However, the course included a variety of dishes, some of which were creatively prepared. The corn sorbet and foie gras mousse were particularly delicious. The Hokkaido pork I chose as the main dish was tender and tasty, resembling a braised dish rather than a roasted one, which was unexpected. Despite being listed as an Italian Top 100 restaurant for 2023, I found the restaurant to lean more towards innovative French cuisine. Thank you for the meal!

I used this restaurant for a special occasion. I ordered the course meal and pairing (40ml) and enjoyed the dishes. The pairing was easy to drink even for someone like me who doesn't usually drink wine, and the amount was just right! For the main dish, I chose the A4 sirloin steak over the filet. Even though I usually prefer filet, I didn't feel any greasiness in the sirloin and it was cooked just right, making it the most delicious dish! The price was a bit high because of the pairing, but it was a satisfying anniversary celebration!

I made a reservation for 7:00 pm on a weekday and visited for the first time. I sat at the counter and ordered the dinner course. The restaurant was beautiful, and there were only female customers, which was unexpected for a building like this. I started with a highball and then ordered wine pairing. The pairing could be chosen in three levels of quantity, and I went for the middle option. I enjoyed 7 stylish and delicious appetizers, followed by a beautifully presented fish dish and a fillet steak for the main course. There were also two dessert options. They didn't have grappa, so I ordered an additional calvados for after-dinner drink, which was also delicious. Everything was great and delicious, but the standout dishes were the duck appetizer, Italian-style chawanmushi with conger eel, the amazing pie with exceptional sauce, and the perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth fillet. The calvados was also delicious, and it was a bit hard to resist ordering more, but I managed to pay the bill without any issues.

"Pluie dete" is a trendy Italian restaurant located on the 1st floor of Osaka Station Front Building in Osaka Umeda. Despite being categorized as Italian, the cuisine is not traditional Italian but rather an innovative fusion incorporating elements of French and other cuisines. The restaurant has received high praise, prompting my curiosity to visit during a recent trip to Osaka. I hastily made a reservation for lunch and was delighted by the set course menu offered. The menu changes approximately every three months, and on this particular day, the meal began with an amuse-bouche of "Shrimp and Avocado Mousse" and "Corn Sorbet," followed by appetizers of "Duck Ratatouille" and "Scallop Beignet." The main courses included a unique "Burger-style Manju" and a fish dish of "Turbot, Scallop, Shrimp Pie with Mont Blanc Sauce," as well as an entree of "A4 Rank Black Wagyu Beef Fillet." For dessert, we enjoyed "Almond Tofu Ice Cream," and the meal concluded with coffee and petit fours of "Honey Lemon Tea" and "Peach Compote." Additionally, the entree offers a choice of three meat dishes, with only the "Hokkaido Yumenotaido Pork Grilled" option being without an additional charge. The overall dining experience was refreshing, with a seasonal touch evident in the dishes. The price of 4,180 yen for the set course (excluding additional charges for the entree) was surprisingly affordable, especially considering that the dinner menu is priced in the 5,000 yen range. Furthermore, the wine pairing options ranged from 4,378 yen to 8,228 yen, offering a selection of seven wines carefully curated to complement the dishes. The wine list included trendy choices such as New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and South Africa Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon, ensuring an enjoyable pairing experience. Overall, "Pluie dete" offers a casual and enjoyable dining experience with impeccable taste and great value for money, making it one of the best restaurants I have visited this year!

It was about a 10-minute walk from Osaka Station, but the exterior of the restaurant was lovely, so I was excited even before entering ☺️ It was my first time having a course meal with my friend, so I was a bit nervous, but I was impressed by the staff's smiles and thoughtful care from the moment we walked in. Since both my friend and I are hearing impaired, I had informed them of this when making the reservation, and they explained the course menu and wine selection through written communication, allowing us to enjoy each dish and wine. We also upgraded the meat and ordered wine, and it was just a little over 10,000 yen per person, which is really affordable considering the wonderful service. Both my friend and I were able to have a fantastic evening in a relaxed atmosphere, so I would love to visit again.

However, the actual payment is less than 10,000 yen per person. If you don't upgrade the meat, it's around 7,000 yen, which is very cost-effective. There are also drinks like highballs for those who are not good with wine. The meal includes something like a dessert in between, which allows you to refresh while eating. The menu changes every 2 to 3 months, making it easy to visit regularly.
