We went to celebrate with our family and my request was to eat fugu hot pot. I did some research and found out that there are two restaurants with the same name in Kokoco and Kitatata. The taxi driver on the way there mentioned that they are probably brothers. We arrived at the restaurant with our seats already reserved. The atmosphere was calm and traditional, perfect for enjoying fugu cuisine. It had been many years since I last had fugu hot pot, so I was really looking forward to it. When we entered the restaurant, it was bustling with energy and full of people. The staff quickly showed us to our table. The restaurant was full of foreign customers, which was probably due to the location. We ordered the fugu hot pot for 2750 yen, boiled fugu for 550 yen, and fugu sashimi for 1320 yen. We also added fried chicken, udon noodles, and spring greens. We enjoyed the delicious dishes, especially the fugu sashimi which was fresh and beautifully presented. The spring greens were crisp and tasty. The ponzu sauce was also delicious. We also had some drinks and ended the meal with a delicious porridge. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I recommend making a reservation in advance as the restaurant is always busy.

Unforgettable day. The ponzu sauce at the beginning was delicious. Fugu really does make people happy. Everything was delicious. The staff made it, but the porridge was a bit bland. The grilled dish was a bit spicy. Well, for this amount at this price, it's cheap.

We had a drinking party at "Ajihira" in Shin-Imamiya on this day. It was a support drinking party for a restaurant that is still operating despite the pandemic. We went to "Ajihira" to eat blowfish. It's nice to be able to have it grilled at this time of year! We enjoyed not only the grilled blowfish but also the hot pot and porridge. And we drank "Hire Sake". Even though there is cold "Hire Sake", warm "Hire Sake" is still delicious, especially on a slightly hot day. The blowfish at Ajihira was so delicious!

The person who came for the first time this time was extremely satisfied~ (*^-^*)◎ Tetchiri for two♪ Even three people couldn't finish it all!◎ Pufferfish tempura♪ It was incredibly delicious today!(^^)!◎ Grilled pufferfish ovaries♪◎ Yubiki (thinly sliced pufferfish)♪◎ Butsu-kiri tessa (pufferfish sashimi)♪ Such presence~◎ Tessa (pufferfish sashimi)♪◎ Zosui (rice porridge)♪ A single serving is more than enough! Symbol of Osaka, Marubiru, is closing down. I stayed here for the last time. They have taken great care of me. Whenever I come to Osaka, I always visit Fugu no Ajihira. It's cheap, delicious, and unique to this place. Hirezake is my favorite drink. The zosui made by the mama here is the best in the world. I hope it will always be here.

I brought a senior colleague who wanted to go to this restaurant because of its great reputation. We were impressed by the powerful hot pot and enjoyed some sake. We ordered sashimi, boiled dishes, and grilled dishes. The content was satisfying for half the usual price. My senior colleague was also impressed. The best part was the porridge made by the landlady at the end. It was delicious!

♪Japanese fish, delicious kuekochi, fugu♪ (Song: "Island Country DNA") For Valentine's Day, my dad wanted something strong and hearty, so I made a reservation at the famous "Ajihira" restaurant! The lively atmosphere, packed with fugu lovers, and the cute waitresses speaking broken Japanese were adorable! The fugu sashimi was amazing when wrapped in cabbage and topped with garlic chips! The tecciri dish for 1.5 people had so much fugu slices, I've never seen so much before! The yubiki and fugu tempura were unlike any other place! And the highlight was the zosui with fugu fin sake - my dad was very pleased!

I love the boiled fish, tempura, and fried chicken here! The sashimi is big and has a firm texture, very satisfying to eat. And the mama-san makes delicious porridge at the end, which is also really tasty!

We finished with porridge. I also secretly ordered udon this day (laughs). We had beer and sake, and it was a fun year-end party. The blowfish at Ajihira was so delicious!

The restaurant was very clean, and the blowfish dishes were exquisite and very reasonably priced. The hot pot, sashimi, and fried blowfish were all excellent. The final rice porridge was delicious too, and I would love to visit again. It was a shame that the shirako (blowfish milt) was not available until December. I will visit again to try the shirako.

I went with two friends after 6 pm. We had 1.5 servings of shabu-shabu, 2 servings of sashimi, 2 servings of fried chicken, 3 glasses of draft beer, and a pot of porridge. We shared the dishes among us, and the total cost for three people was 14,800 yen. It was incredibly delicious.

I went to a regular puffer fish restaurant that is strangely popular. I wasn't a big fan of puffer fish to begin with, but I thought the porridge at the end of the course was better than other places. The puffer fish tempura was also crispy and good. The restaurant is kept clean.

I wanted to eat reasonably priced and delicious fugu in Osaka, and after researching, I found this place. The interior is casual yet clean, with spacious seating and a comfortable atmosphere. The dishes are all delicious. I love fried chicken, and I often eat it, but the one here was exceptional. The fugu hot pot had large, firm pieces of meat, and the finishing porridge was the best I've ever had. It's not a place you can easily drop by, but I would like to visit here again.

Here at the blowfish specialty store "Ajihira". It's been 5 years since I visited to reward my subordinates. I often hear that blowfish is best in winter, but they serve it all year round here. *Seems to be farmed. Especially in summer, the "grilled blowfish" is delicious! We eat thickly sliced blowfish on a charcoal grill. The meat is thick and fragrant! Blowfish fin sake is also available! It's rich in flavor with two fins. We keep ordering more while topping up our drinks. I haven't eaten blowfish sashimi like this at other stores. Even the regular sashimi is thick... We drink, eat, and have a great time. We finish with rice porridge. This restaurant really has a great old town atmosphere.

On a day in April, we had a drinking party in Imazato to support a restaurant that is still open despite the pandemic. After attending a real meeting, we all went to a blowfish restaurant called "Ajihira" in Imazato. It was my first time at "Ajihira" in 2 years. We ordered the "grilled blowfish" and of course, the "blowfish hot pot" which are only available from April to October. We split the orders of "grilled blowfish" and "blowfish hot pot" among half of the group each, and enjoyed both dishes. The "grilled blowfish" was a style where we grilled it ourselves on a charcoal grill. We had "Hire sake" as our drink, of course. There was also cold Hire sake available, but I prefer mine hot. And for the finishing touch, we had porridge. It's a secret, but actually, before the porridge, we also had "udon" noodles in the pot (laughs). So, we were really stuffed with the grilled blowfish, blowfish hot pot, and porridge. They were all so delicious!

Had dinner with my older brother and his wife here. My brother's colleague showed him some photos of delicious food, so we decided to come here. The food was simple, cheap, and delicious. The sashimi, fried chicken, and grilled fish were all excellent. The only downside was that the grilled cod milt came wrapped in aluminum foil, making it difficult to eat. If this place was closer to home, I would come here once or twice a month. Just writing about it makes me crave it again. I definitely want to come back! Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to year-end parties, you can't go wrong with a hot pot! That's why we came to Ajihira. The staff here are mostly Vietnamese exchange students, but they speak good Japanese and provide great service. The hot pot is affordable and delicious, you can really enjoy it here. The shirako (milt) is huge and a great deal. The sliced fish for the hot pot is also generous in size. With this much food, you'll need to add a lot of vegetables. The porridge is full of flavor, so you can look forward to glowing skin the next day. It's elegant and delicious!

As someone born in Kanto, I had a strong image of fugu cuisine being a strict course meal, but this restaurant has more of an a la carte and izakaya atmosphere. It's a type of fugu restaurant where you can casually order what you want to eat, which is not very common in Tokyo. It was interesting that they didn't try to make dishes like tessa look fancy. The tetchiri fugu dish was so voluminous that I thought they must be using fugu weighing over 1.5 kilograms. The blowfish sashimi was also a hearty dish that didn't seem like fugu at all, with a satisfying texture. It was a satisfying meal with hirazake in hand. Thank you for the feast!
