お昼寝ムーキ
I often go to Namba but have a hard time making it to Daikoku-san. I really wanted to have clam soup! So I came alone, but they still weren't open even at 11:30... They started seating customers at 33 minutes past the hour... Inside, there were middle-aged and elderly women running the place. Today, the lady in the back seemed strict, while the one in the front seemed kind, making the soup. They only bring your order once everything is ready, so it's like a set meal restaurant. If you order grilled or simmered fish, you might have to wait a while. The basic options are small, medium, or large rice, along with side dishes, grilled fish, and simmered fish. The soup comes with tofu, egg, or clams, in either red miso, white miso, or clear broth. I ordered: simmered burdock root for about 400 yen, boiled komatsuna greens for about 400 yen, small rice with extra ingredients (forgot the price, around 400 yen), clam soup (forgot the price, around 350 yen), and a packed lunch with assorted side dishes (forgot the price, around 1296 or 1300 yen). I brought my own bag, so that was good. The total came to 3109 yen. My order was just side dishes, rice, and soup, so it came out quickly. The hot soup can only be enjoyed at the restaurant. The clam soup had a strong broth and was delicious. Next time, I'll try the red miso or white miso clam soup. When I opened the lid of the rice, I could smell the seaweed. The rice with extra ingredients was delicious, with finely chopped ingredients like konjac and fried items. The simmered burdock root was slightly sweet, and the boiled komatsuna greens had a gentle soy sauce flavor. The traditional flavors at this place are truly special. I couldn't resist enjoying the rice and side dishes at home too. It was delicious! I'll definitely visit again.
