I went to "Yuzu-an" in Hanakoganei and had the seasonal Yuzu-an course for 8,298 yen (for two people). It is a Japanese restaurant located at the intersection of Koganei-dori and Tokyo-dori. I made a reservation for 7 pm and went with my daughter. For the seasonal Yuzu-an course, we could choose between mushroom hot pot, white soup, and sukiyaki soup. We ended up choosing the white soup and sukiyaki soup. The hot pot didn't have a special seasonal feel, but my daughter enjoyed the dessert which included sweet potatoes and grapes.

I had a late dinner at "Yuzu-an" in Hanakoganei. It was a seasonal Yuzu-an course for 3,480 yen, where you can choose the type of beef for the shabu-shabu. It was a request from my daughter, who is a college student visiting home. The restaurant is located at the intersection of Koganei Kaido and Tokyo Kaido, heading north from Hanakoganei Station. I made a reservation for 7:50 pm on a Saturday night, but had to change it to 9 pm because my daughter's train was delayed. The course started with shrimp chawanmushi and a sushi assortment, and we could choose up to two types of broth for the shabu-shabu. The dishes were mostly served by robots, but there were a few instances where they arrived empty and waited next to our table. Since I drove there, I couldn't drink alcohol, but I tried two glasses of grapefruit soft drink from the all-you-can-drink menu. The tempura had a thick batter and was a bit greasy, but overall, the other dishes were delicious and we had a pleasant time.

I went to Yuzu-an for lunch and chose the domestic beef shabu-shabu set for 1680 yen. It came with 4 plates of beef, vegetables, 5 pieces of sushi, tempura, chawanmushi, and a choice of 2 types of dessert. It seemed like a great deal for the price. I might go back for lunch alone next time. I chose the limited-time tantan and seafood dashi flavors. My mother ordered 3 types of tuna sushi and ate all the sushi and tempura. Even then, we were both full for just over 2800 yen. It was a great value lunch. It's recommended to make a reservation before going to this popular restaurant. They also have other menu options for weekday lunches, so I would like to go back again.

Recently, I discovered a shabu-shabu eat-all-you-can restaurant nearby. I was surprised that they offer a variety of dishes in addition to shabu-shabu! The lunch course at "Sushi Shabu-Shabu Yuzu-an" is priced at 2280 yen. The lunch shabu-shabu is a great deal, with two types of pork, chicken thigh, and tsukune. While they don't have beef, the variety is still satisfying. The shabu-shabu is cooked in two types of broth and is tender and delicious. It's a healthy way to enjoy shabu-shabu by cooking it in broth. Even the vegetables are enjoyable to eat when boiled. My favorite is the lightly boiled lettuce. While cabbage is tasty too, the lettuce is just delicious! With ponzu and sesame sauce, along with a variety of condiments, you can keep eating endlessly. I would prefer to have it with white rice, but I couldn't resist ordering sushi. Tuna, salmon, squid, shrimp, tamago, and even corn gunkan sushi were available. It's a luxurious feeling to have all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sushi. The shabu-shabu alone is satisfying, but the additional dishes are also great. There are so many options that it's hard to choose, but you can't eat everything. I ordered the crab cream croquette and my favorite chawanmushi. The shabu-shabu, sushi, and additional dishes are all delicious. There's no menu item that disappoints. I wish I could keep eating more, but my stomach is already full. To try a variety of dishes, it might be best to go with a large group and share. To finish, udon noodles are served in the soup made from the meat and vegetable broth. Even though I had sushi, it's a shame to waste the delicious soup. The single serving size is easy to eat and convenient. It's an order buffet, so you eat and then order more. The staff seems busy, but then a serving robot brings the food. The times have certainly changed. From shabu-shabu to sushi to additional dishes, there's a wide variety of options that you can't finish. I wish there were restaurants like this when I was a hungry student...

On the third day of the New Year, there were a lot of people with free time. Someone invited me to lunch, so I followed them to Yuzu-an, a restaurant that used to be a conveyor belt sushi place. It's been a while since the restaurant changed, but it was my first time there. As soon as I entered, I asked if they had a reservation, but they didn't. The place was quite crowded, and luckily we were able to find seats without a reservation, but some groups behind us were being turned away. Wow, it's popular here, huh? We used the touch panel to order various dishes, with the main options being hot pot shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, and side dishes including sushi. It was quite luxurious. Since it was an order buffet, it was nice that they brought us the dishes we ordered. I filled up on meat haphazardly, and although it was not as good as sushi from a more expensive place, I ate a lot of sushi and even had dessert at the end. Kids would probably enjoy this kind of place with a variety of options to eat.

I discovered Yuzu-an in Fukui and decided to take my family there since they had never been before. Since it was the end of the year, I made a reservation online. It was our first time going as a family, so we chose the popular seasonal Yuzu-an course (tax included 3,608 yen). We selected the hot pot with spicy soup and bonito broth. While waiting for the hot pot to heat up, we ordered sushi and side dishes. The sushi had a good variety of traditional and non-traditional toppings. Unlike with barbecue, where you have to worry about burning the meat, with hot pot you can take your time, which is nice. I didn't manage to take photos of everything, but it would be impossible to try all the different options on the menu.

My wife and I visited by car. She has had lunch with friends here before, but it was my first time. Although the buffet is recommended, we both don't eat much, so we ordered the shabu-shabu set. It comes with a hot pot, chawanmushi, and 3 pieces of sushi. There are two types of broth for the shabu-shabu. The meat and vegetables were delicious, and we left feeling satisfied. I had some business with a dealer for the summer Yuzu course, so I made a reservation and went to Yuzu-an. Even though summer is coming to an end, I was able to enjoy the summer course. I got to taste dishes like salt lemon dashi, eel, and pike conger, and the pepper and cheese tsukune was quite good too. As always, I left the restaurant with a full and satisfied stomach after a delicious dinner.

When you come to Yuzu-an, your excitement level always goes up. It's like being a little kid (laughs) because they offer all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sushi! There are also various other options available (#^^#) I always go for the top course without fail. The luxurious course costs 3980 yen plus 490 yen for all-you-can-drink. With the luxurious course, you can enjoy black beef, skewers, and premium sushi. The sushi is quite fresh and the rice is nicely warm. I usually order mostly black beef for shabu-shabu, but sometimes the pork is delicious too (laughs). The marbling of the black beef is amazing, and even if you eat a lot, you won't feel too full (personal opinion, laughs). This time, they had seasonal items like natural sea bream nigiri, sweet shrimp nigiri, and bamboo shoot and trefoil dumplings available for a limited time, and they were all delicious. The fact that they have these limited-time items makes you want to go back even more! I feel like I want to go back right away (laughs).

Tokyo, Kodaira City. At the Kitano-Naka intersection on the Koganei Street, I clenched a 15% discount coupon and entered during lunchtime. I aimed for the autumn all-you-can-eat with salmon and matsutake mushrooms. The lunch buffet was originally 2,178 yen including tax, but with the discount it was 1,852 yen including tax. However, I found out that the salmon and matsutake mushrooms were not included in this offer, so I requested to upgrade to the eligible course. The meal began with matsutake chawanmushi, which was incredibly delicious and made me feel happy. I tried both a spicy and a matsutake broth for the hot pot, which might seem like two extremes, but the meat with matsutake broth was especially delicious. I was delighted. I also tried dipping the meat in beaten egg with the spicy broth. Having matsutake sushi was such a luxurious treat. The matsutake steamed dish helped me calm my heart. I finished the meal with a chestnut daifuku for dessert. Thank you for the feast.

Tokyo, Kojimachi City. At the Kitano-Naka intersection on the Koganei Street. All-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sushi restaurant. They offer courses with pork and beef. Desserts are also all-you-can-eat. I was seated and ordered the pork shabu-shabu course. The first meat was cooked by the staff. You can order through a touch panel and the serving robot brings the food to you. The serving robot is adorable and I couldn't help but watch it. You can choose from about four different soup bases for the shabu-shabu. I chose the refreshing lemon soup, which was delicious. You can eat a lot of meat. The sushi was also tasty, although on the smaller side. But it's all-you-can-eat, so it's okay. The desserts were small too, but it's nice that you can try many different kinds. We could choose two types of shabu-shabu soup, so we picked Sichuan and kelp. There was a time limit, and the remaining time was displayed on the tableside device, but we ended up staying until the time was up while enjoying the food and chatting. The dishes were satisfying as we could order our favorite items as needed. We went to "Sushiro" last night, but the sushi here was better. Due to the state of emergency, alcohol was not served, but with a discount, it was reasonable at 7,861 yen for two people.

It's been a while since I had shabu-shabu. I wonder if they have sea urchin sushi... it was a limited time offer so maybe it's gone now, haha. The restaurant is as crowded as ever, but I made a reservation so we were seated right away. The hot pot broth is the standard kombu and bonito, and we enjoy the ponzu sauce with plenty of grated daikon radish, a classic at Yuzu-an. You can't do this at other shabu-shabu restaurants, you know♪ Unfortunately, the sea urchin sushi was no longer available. I'm full and happy with delicious sushi and shabu-shabu from the New Year onwards. So happy~~~

On November 15, 2019 (Friday), just like the previous article, I had been dining out for work throughout the week. This was my third and final day of dining out. I made a reservation at Yuzu-an Hanakoganei, just like on the first day. This time, I couldn't get a reservation for 12:00, so it was for 1:00. Before heading to the restaurant, I took a stroll at Kodaira Furusato Village, enjoying the sunny weather. When I arrived at Yuzu-an Hanakoganei, everyone had already ordered the autumn special Matsukado lunch. I decided to have the Mont Blanc pudding for dessert. It seemed like a busy weekend for everyone, but unfortunately, the experience was not as enjoyable for me.

On November 12, 2019 (Tuesday) at 12 o'clock, the autumn dining activities began. I had planned to go out for meals three times during the week. On the first day, I made a reservation for 13 people at Yuzu-an Hanakoganei store. We reserved a room and everyone ordered their favorite dishes from the menu. The autumn limited Matsukado lunch was popular among those who weren't picky eaters. The meal included Yuzu-flavored duck nanban dipping soba, Dobin-mushi, Matsutake mushroom Dobin-mushi, and the aroma of Matsutake mushrooms. We always enjoy dining at Yuzu-an Hanakoganei store during this season. After the meal, we visited the nearby Kodaira Furusato Village, where we explored the Old Ogawa Family Residence entrance building, a wooden single-story thatched-roof building.

Birthday Trilogy Son Edition Today is my son's birthday. He is not around due to work (of course). He will have dinner with his girlfriend at night. So, let's have an early birthday lunch on a free day. Son, what would you like to eat for your birthday? Shabu-shabu or takoyaki? Shabu-shabu eat-all-you-can. When I googled with the keyword "birthday," I found Yuzu-an. I have seen the signboard before, but I have never been there. So, which one is better? I prefer option 2. I chose option 1 - Shabu-shabu, sushi, and kushiage eat-all-you-can at Yuzu-an in Koganei City. It's a family restaurant. Kurochaya in Akiruno City - a stylish old folk house serving kaiseki dishes. I didn't mention kaiseki at all. That's right. When I looked it up, I was surprised to find that shabu-shabu, sushi, and kushiage were also eat-all-you-can. I was amazed and decided to go and see it for myself. There are so many varieties! Sukiyaki is also available, and you can choose raw eggs as well. Sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, sushi, kushiage, one-plate dishes, desserts - all you can eat. Soft drinks are also available for 390 yen with a wide variety. The Hanakoganei store is spacious inside, and the service is excellent. They quickly take away empty plates. Even if you go for an early lunch on a weekday, there are many elderly customers. Everyone was eating bento boxes. It's a great restaurant for those who want to eat a lot. We also requested a birthday plate, and they wrote a flower on it, which was a small but thoughtful gesture that made us happy. The photo shows just a part of it. I went out for dining activities during the week of November 5th to 9th in 2018. On November 8th, we visited Yuzu-an Hanakoganei store with a group of 13 people. We all ordered the Matsukado lunch set with dessert and a drink. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal while chatting and having a good time. After dining, we visited the Kodaira Furusato Village nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we look forward to visiting Yuzu-an Hanakoganei store again in the fall of 2019.

On November 6, 2018 (Tuesday), unfortunately, the weather was rainy. During work, we had our annual dining out activity. We visited a restaurant called Yuzu-an Hanakoganei, where we had reserved for 16 people at around 12 o'clock. We have been using this restaurant for 4 years now. Although the menu was open for selection, we all ended up choosing the Matsukado lunch, which is a seasonal dish. We waited eagerly for the Matsutake mushroom hot pot dish. We enjoyed the Matsukado lunch, Yuzu-rich duck soba, and duck soup. Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time chatting and enjoying our meal. The staff at Yuzu-an Hanakoganei were very accommodating, allowing us to have a private floor near the restroom. We also enjoyed the dessert that came with the lunch set, with me choosing the sweet potato Mont Blanc and a cup of hot coffee. I found the perfect restaurant for a birthday party at our house with two men in their 20s. It's an all-you-can-eat restaurant with shabu-shabu, sushi, tempura, dessert, and other dishes.
