On this day, I had some errands in the Hamamatsucho area early in the morning, and I was looking for a place to have breakfast. There was only a certain hamburger chain nearby, and to my surprise, there were foreign tourists with backpacks lining up even in the morning! I didn't feel like dealing with the crowds, so I looked to the side and saw a sign for "Renoir." I noticed that there seemed to be available seats by the window on the second floor, so I decided to visit this place. There are stairs in front leading to the second floor, but it's nice that there is also an elevator at the back. The interior of the restaurant is more spacious than I expected, with completely separate smoking and non-smoking sections. I chose the non-smoking section. The smoking section seemed smaller and more crowded. When I looked at the menu, I found a nice-looking breakfast set, the "Renoir Blend" for 570 yen, with an additional 200 yen for the "Morning D Set." This set includes a fresh vegetable and onsen egg salad, which is a fresh menu option for me at Renoir, known for its Danish pastries and sandwiches. I wondered if the menu had changed recently. Come to think of it, the logo has also changed... After researching, I found out that they have expanded their brand into multiple brands. There is Cafe Renoir, as well as other familiar coffee shops like Cafe Renoir and Miyama Coffee. Now, my coffee and salad have been served. A large plate with lettuce, tomato, onsen egg, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and a block of toast Danish bread, providing a good balance of nutrients and a visually appealing presentation. The Renoir Blend coffee is quite dark roasted, has a good foam, and is brewed very well. Without intending to, I ended up having a salad breakfast at Renoir, starting my day off on a good note. The hamburger chain on the first floor was packed early in the morning, but the atmosphere on the second floor here was calm and not too crowded, making it a hidden gem. There were only a few groups of people waiting. With separate smoking and non-smoking sections, a great atmosphere, and delicious coffee, I will remember this place for future meetings in Hamamatsucho.
