Today, my work colleagues and I went to watch a boxing match together. Our valued customer is very enthusiastic about supporting the boxing gym, so we all gathered around to support the fighter that our valued customer sponsors. I don't really understand boxing much, but it was really interesting. What made it even more exciting was that all 10 matches ended in knockout within 2 rounds, so there was never a dull moment. Of course, the fighter we were supporting also achieved a great victory. Watching from the third row ringside, the intensity was incredible. The breath of the fighters, the sweat flying, the sound of punches landing, the voices of the cornermen, the gong sound – it's all so different from watching on TV. There were 4 fighters making their debut that day. Some won their debut fights brilliantly, while others couldn't perform as they had hoped and ended up losing. Seeing those who entered the tough world of boxing, some in tears as they returned to the locker room after a defeat, I felt the beauty of their determination. During breaks between matches, I bought a pork cutlet sandwich at the concession stand to refresh myself. The familiar "Mansei's Pork Cutlet Sandwich," which is said to bring victory. It was just right to eat while watching the fights, and as always, it was delicious. They also sell it at the Ueno station shop, so it's convenient to buy when traveling to the Tohoku region. Recently, they have added variations like fillet cutlet sandwiches and hamburger sandwiches, making it even more enjoyable. JR station bento boxes are always overpriced and not very tasty, so "Mansei's Pork Cutlet Sandwich" and "Sakai's Shumai Bento" are reliable allies for frequent travelers. That day, there was a Giants baseball game at the neighboring Tokyo Dome in the evening, so there was a huge crowd. However, most people were heading to the baseball stadium, and only a few were going to the Korakuen Hall to watch boxing. I'm not really interested in professional baseball or boxing, but if I had to choose, I would definitely go for boxing. Unless it's a title match or a nationally famous fighter, the fighters' desperation comes across directly, which is very engaging. It would be great if they were more popular. I occasionally go to a professional baseball game out of obligation, but I usually get bored halfway through. The constant noise of the annoying trumpets is also irritating. However, with boxing, there is hardly a dull moment. It was truly an enjoyable time.
