I visited a small restaurant located behind the Hachobori intersection during the day. It's just a minute's walk from Hachobori Station. Inside, there were two large shared tables and a counter facing the wall. I sat at the edge of the table and ordered the New Style Poke Bowl (regular size for 680 yen) with tuna and amberjack. I also got a yuzu ponzu miso soup for 180 yen. There were other options for the poke bowl like salmon, octopus, shrimp, and scallop, and for the sauce like original, spicy mayo, classic, Korean spicy miso, basil, wasabi mayo, butter soy, bisque, and black mapo. The portion size could be chosen from small to extra large, and the taste was not bad. I didn't know what poke bowl meant, but it seemed like a Korean word. I noticed during payment that the restaurant is apparently closing around autumn, as there was a notebook for signatures to support its continuation. I wonder what the circumstances are. Thank you for the meal.

Having lunch at Hatchobori. It's an izakaya located in a small alley off Shiodome Street. They mainly serve dishes like Pogi-don during lunch hours. I arrived before 1 pm and there were 3 other customers already there. The restaurant has small tables and a counter. You can choose your fish (tuna, shrimp, amberjack, salmon, scallop, octopus) and sauce from a variety of options like original, spicy mayo, classic, Korean spicy miso, basil, wasabi mayo, butter soy, bisque, and black mapo. I chose tuna and amberjack with original sauce. Toppings are available for an extra charge but I opted not to add any. They offer small to extra-large portions ranging from 580 to 980 yen, and I also ordered a side of miso soup for 180 yen. I ordered the Pogi-don for 680 yen with miso soup. They ran out of white rice so they served brown rice at no extra charge. First, the miso soup arrived, followed by the Pogi-don a couple of minutes later. The rice was topped with lettuce, kaiware, and diced tuna and amberjack, with some rice crackers on top. The original sauce was fruity with a hint of spiciness. It tasted good, but the portion size for the regular serving was a bit small, making it feel like an incomplete lunch. It might be just right for women.

This is my first visit to this restaurant, and I have also been here once before. It is a sake-focused establishment located near Hatchobori Station. I know that many businesses have been struggling since the pandemic, so I felt compelled to share my experience here. First of all, the food and drinks are all delicious. For example, the chicken skin with ponzu sauce was seasoned perfectly with dashi and very tasty. The dried Me-hikari fish that I am currently obsessed with is also delicious and at a very affordable price. The all-you-can-drink option for premium sake such as ginjo and daiginjo is a great deal for someone like me who loves to drink. I heard that they may have to close the shop next November due to contract reasons, and personally, I find this concerning. They are also facing challenges in raising funds for future expansion. If anyone reading this review is willing to support them, please consider visiting the restaurant. Thank you.

It's a difficult place to order, but the food is delicious and the staff are friendly. They have a wide variety of poke options, making it fun to choose. There were only 2 customers when I arrived around 12pm on a weekday, and a few more came later, but it didn't get crowded. They also offer takeout, which is convenient. I had the regular poke for ¥650, with brown rice for an additional ¥55, miso soup for ¥165, and a large size for ¥110. I didn't intend to get a large size, but it turned out that way. The portion wasn't really that big, so it might not be enough for big eaters. The staff were very nice, the food was tasty, so overall it was a good experience. I was a bit surprised that the brown rice and miso soup were extra charges, which I didn't realize until I saw the receipt. It was a bit confusing to order because the order form didn't have prices listed. If you stick to basic orders, you can get a meal for under 1000 yen, which is great value. Free Wi-Fi and card payment are also available, which is convenient. Thank you for the meal!

I tried the one-coin lunch at a restaurant with a sign outside. I had a bowl where I could choose the amount of rice, and two types of seafood. I chose maguro and kanpachi, which were served with lettuce. It was refreshing and delicious. The price of 500 yen was great value for money. The restaurant also had Wi-Fi, which was convenient.

During lunchtime, I visited a restaurant near Hacchobori Park after participating in an EX Raid (Pokemon Go) there. The restaurant is known for its all-you-can-drink refrigerator sake at night. They had brands like Shirakawa-go and Jyokigen Kojiro. Today, I had the mentaiko pasta lunch set with tonjiru (pork miso soup). You order by writing on a paper on the table. The staff was beautiful, which made me understand why it's a regular spot for some people! The pasta was delicious and the lunch set was only 900 yen, so I think it's a good deal. It's a bit far for lunch unless there's a Pokemon event, but I'd like to try going at night next time.

This restaurant offers all-you-can-drink of various premium Japanese sake (junmai, ginjo, daiginjo) from different regions in Japan. In addition to sake, they also offer all-you-can-drink whiskey, bourbon, shaoxing wine (Chinese wine), shochu, and soft drinks. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, similar to an Italian restaurant. I tried the braised pork belly, which was cooked in awamori, and it was absolutely delicious. They also have a sushi menu and a variety of dishes to satisfy your hunger. This is a great place for women who want to compare different types of Japanese sake.

I visited during lunchtime. I planned to go meat-free and eat a fish menu on this day. You can eat chunks of raw fish in a bowl. It also comes with a vegetable salad. If you watch the amount of rice, you can also eat brown rice, making it a perfect healthy lunch for women. The hot pork miso soup was delicious, but I accidentally enjoyed it on my meat-free day. Oh well. The wasabi mayo sauce is delicious, so wasabi lovers, go for it.

Recently, a slightly trendy new shop seems to have opened. My partner was interested in it, so we decided to stop by. From the outside, I thought it was a standing bar, but when we entered, there were chairs available. The concept seems to be all-you-can-drink with a wide selection of alcohol displayed on one wall, with about half being Japanese sake. The sake is categorized by region, making it a good opportunity to learn about different brands. We chose the 90-minute all-you-can-drink option, which cost 2160 yen including tax. We ended up extending for an additional 30 minutes, paying an extra 864 yen. So in total, we paid around 3000 yen for a 2-hour drink session. It was fun picking out drinks from the fridge, but the small glasses available caused a bottleneck at the door. It would be better to have larger glasses or allow customers to hold three glasses at a time to avoid congestion and maintain the fridge's temperature. The food was visually appealing, with dishes like a cheese platter for 432 yen, salted squid with gold leaf for 324 yen, and other items like seared char siu, kimchi, sausage platter, potato salad, double sea urchin, seared fatty tuna, and seared salmon. The dishes were beautifully presented on elegant plates. Towards the end, a group of women arrived, changing the atmosphere slightly. My friend and I chatted with an employee from the United States in a corner. We ended the meal with a delicious mentaiko pasta for 648 yen. The sake selection includes premium brands, so ordering a popular one early on is recommended. Overall, the shop caters to a specific taste and willingness to pay for the refined ambiance. It's also suitable for those who prefer quick drink sessions. Personally, I prefer spending long hours in lively, casual establishments, so this shop may not be the best fit for me. However, considering it is a new venture with efforts from a young owner, I will adjust the overall rating accordingly.

I enjoyed bluefin tuna sashimi, grilled mackerel from Oarai, and fried chicken, followed by unlimited servings of my favorite Japanese sake! On this day, I savored a total of 7 different types of sake, including the precious FLINT.

For those who love sake and are conscious of cost performance, they can choose their own sake to enjoy. The tuna (akami, chutoro, otoro) that the chef mistakenly procured was excellent.

A self-service all-you-can-drink restaurant with a focus on sake. It's a great place for sake lovers with excellent cost performance. They always have over 60 types of sake available.

When I visited this restaurant a few times after its reopening, I noticed a decline in quality. The amount of mango decreased and the burdock salad was no longer included. Everything became optional, which increased the variety. The menu expanded, stamp cards were introduced, there were promotions like the 500 yen lunch, and efforts were made with signage, Hot Pepper, and paid Tabelog listings. However, it seemed like the number of customers did not increase. Also, the One Spoon Sushi dish seems overpriced at 350-500 yen as it doesn't require much skill to make. Perhaps they lowered the prices, but the Poki bowl, which I used to enjoy for being both stylish and delicious, now feels somewhat average due to the increased options, leading to a decrease in satisfaction and making it feel expensive. I don't think I'll visit again. It's a shame despite all the efforts being made.

There is still about 30 minutes until sushi, so I decided to stop by another place to buy some souvenirs. I got a poke bowl and taco rice from "HAMAMORI" near Hatchobori Station, which also offers sushi at night. The place looked like a bar at first glance. Although they were supposed to open at 11:00, the blinds were still closed, so I asked if I could get a takeout, and they said yes. I waited inside the restaurant for my order to be ready. The taco rice came in a large flat container, different from what I expected, but it fit nicely in my recently changed Nightingale bag. The dish was half salad and half hot taco rice, with a choice of white or brown rice. I chose brown rice and it had Chinese mushrooms and bamboo shoots in it. The taco was crumbly on top of the slightly spicy rice, creating a nice contrast. I was surprised to learn that taco rice is actually a dish from Okinawa, not Mexico. I got it as a takeout because it was listed under the sushi category.
