Recently, a slightly trendy new shop seems to have opened. My partner was interested in it, so we decided to stop by. From the outside, I thought it was a standing bar, but when we entered, there were chairs available. The concept seems to be all-you-can-drink with a wide selection of alcohol displayed on one wall, with about half being Japanese sake. The sake is categorized by region, making it a good opportunity to learn about different brands. We chose the 90-minute all-you-can-drink option, which cost 2160 yen including tax. We ended up extending for an additional 30 minutes, paying an extra 864 yen. So in total, we paid around 3000 yen for a 2-hour drink session. It was fun picking out drinks from the fridge, but the small glasses available caused a bottleneck at the door. It would be better to have larger glasses or allow customers to hold three glasses at a time to avoid congestion and maintain the fridge's temperature. The food was visually appealing, with dishes like a cheese platter for 432 yen, salted squid with gold leaf for 324 yen, and other items like seared char siu, kimchi, sausage platter, potato salad, double sea urchin, seared fatty tuna, and seared salmon. The dishes were beautifully presented on elegant plates. Towards the end, a group of women arrived, changing the atmosphere slightly. My friend and I chatted with an employee from the United States in a corner. We ended the meal with a delicious mentaiko pasta for 648 yen. The sake selection includes premium brands, so ordering a popular one early on is recommended. Overall, the shop caters to a specific taste and willingness to pay for the refined ambiance. It's also suitable for those who prefer quick drink sessions. Personally, I prefer spending long hours in lively, casual establishments, so this shop may not be the best fit for me. However, considering it is a new venture with efforts from a young owner, I will adjust the overall rating accordingly.
