This is a retro coffee shop located in Kuromon Market. I visited for breakfast during a business trip to Osaka, staying in Nipponbashi. The atmosphere around here, in Nipponbashi, feels almost like being in a different country. I visited on a weekday around 8 am, and there were a few middle-aged men sitting alone at 4-person tables, reading newspapers and sipping coffee (myself included). The interior of the shop is like a traditional coffee shop, a nostalgic scene. I ordered the "Egg Toast" from the Morning Service "A" for 600 yen including tax. The toast sandwich with crispy egg had that distinctive Kansai texture. However, the highlight of this shop is the rich coffee. I have been drinking black coffee for almost 20 years, but I had to add milk (coffee creamer) and sugar this time. Otherwise, it was too intense, almost like drinking black, with a sticky texture lingering in the mouth. It was my first time in a while having coffee with milk and sugar, and it reminded me of the bottled coffee milk I used to enjoy at train station kiosks or public baths. It was really delicious. This rich coffee from Ibuki Coffee Shop brought back those memories.

On this day, I went to Osaka for errands with a companion. After finishing work, we left Tochigi Prefecture and arrived at Namba Station around 6 am the next day. We waited until 7 am when the coin parking opened. We decided to have breakfast at this place recommended on Tabelog, "Ibuki Coffee Shop." I ordered the A set for 600 yen. The interior of the shop had a retro feel (you could sense its history). The atmosphere was very quiet and calming, perfect for a morning meal. It may not be suitable for those who don't smoke. I had a crisp black iced coffee, which was strong in bitterness but had a rich and refreshing taste. It looked like it would also be delicious with milk and sugar syrup! The egg toast had a nice crunchy texture from the cucumber and a gentle flavor from the seasoned egg on the crispy toast. I didn't know much about it, but it turned out to be a shop with delicious coffee! It was a great start to my day in Osaka. Thank you for the meal!

A Showa-era style café located inside Kuromon Market. I visited for the first time around 10 am on a weekday. The place was filled with a wide range of customers, including different age groups and tourists, with quite a few seats already taken. Breakfast is available until 11 am. I ordered the egg toast set with ice coffee for 600 yen. The sandwich was simple yet delicious, with eggs and cucumbers inside. The ice coffee was refreshing and had just the right amount of richness. The café had a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere, from the decorations to the furniture, creating a calm and cozy space. The only downside was that the restroom was old and dirty.

During my arcade stroll on 7/21, I visited a retro-style café. The front section is non-smoking, while the back is for smoking. It's not completely separated, so please be aware of that. I had a blend coffee for 540 yen. It was quite strong and bitter, but also had a rich flavor with a clean finish. However, the aroma was subtle. Thank you for the meal.

The shop is an old-fashioned coffee shop. There are many foreigners now, but in the back, there are older gentlemen chatting away. It's a place that makes you wonder if this is how coffee shops used to be. I had coffee and an egg sandwich. The taste is good.

Ibuki Coffee Shop Kuromon Market is a coffee shop located a 3-5 minute walk from Nihonbashi Station. It has a long history and is located in the Kuromon Market in Nihonbashi. They open at 7 am, making it convenient for those looking for a morning spot. The shop is also divided into smoking and non-smoking sections, making it comfortable for both smokers and non-smokers. I tried the mini sandwich set and a cafe au lait this time. The set includes classic sandwiches like egg and tomato, ham and cucumber, with a drink. The mini sandwiches were just the right size, with a delicious combination of egg salad with plenty of mayonnaise and tangy tomatoes, and thick ham with crispy cucumbers. It's a great spot for a light meal when you're feeling peckish. Be sure to visit! Thank you for the meal!

The bed is not well cleaned, there are cardboard boxes scattered around, the toilet is not clean, and the water in the sink is dripping slowly... but the coffee here is incredibly delicious! The price of the coffee is surprisingly high, but personally, the taste is excellent! I want coffee lovers to try this outstanding coffee at least once.

I came to Kuromon Market for shopping. It seems to have turned into a seafood BBQ spot with the return of inbound tourism. I turned off the main street and found Ibuki Coffee Shop. It looks like this shop was opened separately from Marufuku Coffee Shop. The interior has a retro Showa-era coffee shop atmosphere and is quite spacious. I ordered a coffee for 540 yen, and it came with a cup of strong coffee, a spoon with a cube of sugar, and some milk. Just like the Ibuki in Nishinari that I visited earlier, the coffee is very strong and bold. I enjoyed the rich coffee black at first, then added a sugar cube and some milk, just like at traditional coffee shops in Osaka. The combination of the coffee's flavor and the old-fashioned coffee shop atmosphere is really nice.

I went to Ibuki Coffee Shop in Sakae, so this time I went to Ibuki Coffee Shop in Osu Kannon Market. The strong coffee was so delicious that it made me tremble with joy. Even though I usually drink my strong coffee black, I read a review that said adding sugar and milk to strong coffee can make it taste even better, so I decided to try it. I added one cube of sugar and a little bit of milk (I'm not sure if it was dairy or plant-based, but it was more like cream than milk) and it was surprisingly delicious. The waitress who took our order didn't ask about sugar or milk, but the other one did. So next time I go, I'll make sure to specify one sugar cube and milk. They brought two sugar cubes last time. The hot coffee was 540 yen.

I found this place while walking around Kuromon Market. It's time for coffee after a meal. I was surprised to see that it was a non-smoking area, which made me happy as I dislike smoking. I ordered the Blend Coffee for 520 yen. Just one sip and I was amazed by how strong and bitter it was, with an herbal-like aroma. It was the real deal! I took a few more sips but even as a black coffee lover, I had to surrender and added some milk and sugar. And oh my, it was so delicious! Maybe this coffee was meant to be enjoyed with milk and sugar? It was truly a delicious coffee. There are so many great coffee shops in Kansai. I used to go to cafes more often, but this experience reminded me of the charm of traditional coffee shops. (Rated 4 stars for being non-smoking) Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Osaka Kuromon Market - Ibuki Coffee Shop, the world of amber♪ The atmosphere of the counter makes you want to dance with joy. The items displayed in the showcase create a unique and flavorful world. The morning service until 11am offers egg toast and coffee for 580 yen, both of which are delicious. This spacious cafe has a smoking area in the back and a non-smoking area in the front. It's a great coffee shop.

I visited all three locations of Ibuki Coffee in Osaka city, but this one and the one in Nishinari Ward are my favorites in terms of atmosphere. The coffee is strong and wakes you up with a punch, delicious ⭐︎ I could relax and unwind in the retro-themed interior. It's a smoking-friendly cafe with smoking and non-smoking sections, but it doesn't make much difference (haha). If someone smoking is nearby, the smoke drifts over to the non-smoking section mercilessly (TT) Thank you for the meal ^ ^

I visited the coffee shop "Ibuki Coffee Shop Kuromon Market" in Kuromon Market in Osaka Nipponbashi for the first time for breakfast. It opens from 7 AM and has a retro Showa era atmosphere. I ordered the egg toast and hot coffee set for 580 yen. The coffee was quite strong and delicious. The hot sandwich with a hint of salt was also tasty. Although there are fewer places now, smoking is allowed, so it is a good place for smokers.

"I took a break at Ibuki Coffee Shop in Kuromon Market. The coffee was rich and flavorful, not too bitter but with a deep taste that was delicious. It's no wonder this café has high ratings on food review sites for its tasty coffee. The atmosphere inside was nostalgic with a retro Showa vibe. I usually don't add milk or sugar to my coffee, but even without them, this coffee was still incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal!"

On my first visit to this accommodation, I decided not to have breakfast at the hotel and instead wanted to try a local morning meal at a place frequented by locals. We found this retro-style cafe at Kuromon Market. We sat at a table near the entrance where it was designated as a non-smoking area. There might have been smoking allowed in the back, but thankfully no one was smoking at the time. We ordered the "Set A" (560 yen) with both of us choosing coffee as our drink. The coffee was strong and bold, which was a nice change from the usual light and easy-to-drink coffees. It came with two sugar cubes, so I added one sugar and some milk. The egg toast sandwich had a gentle flavor, creating an interesting contrast with the coffee. It was a relaxing morning in Osaka.

First time visiting this cafe in Nihonbashi ( ╹▽╹ ) I searched for a coffee shop and found this one nearby, so I decided to check it out (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ It's quite close to Kuro-mon, making it easy to access from Namba area as well! When I entered the shop, it had a classic coffee shop vibe, a bit retro and slightly old-fashioned (lol). But let's get to the main point - the coffee!!!! It had a strong bitterness and acidity (☆▽☆)www Some people might like it, but personally, I found it too strong for my taste (´;︵;`) They didn't have many dessert options, mostly toast items! It's easy to visit, so if you're curious, give it a try ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

Marufuku Coffee Shop was founded as Marufuku Coffee Shop, but in Kuromon Market, it was named Ibuki Coffee Shop using the president's surname Ibuki. If you are a frequent visitor to Marufuku Coffee Shop, you will immediately recognize Ibuki Coffee Shop's coffee and say, "Oh, it's Marufuku Coffee!" It is rare to see two pieces of sugar on a saucer in recent cafes. Coffee was not originally meant to be drunk black. In the Showa era, coffee was typically enjoyed with sugar and cream. Some people may drink Ibuki Coffee Shop's coffee black until the end, but I prefer to first enjoy three sips black to savor the deep flavor and bitterness, then add cream and mix in one sugar cube. This way, the sweetness deepens towards the end, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. It's worth noting that cream is a plant-based oil, not milk. For a delicious coffee with cream, I recommend using animal-based oil.

I stopped by in the morning for breakfast. I was planning to work for about an hour while drinking coffee, but since I hadn't eaten breakfast, I decided to order a morning set. I chose the A set with an egg sandwich and a hot coffee. The coffee came with sugar cubes and milk in a small metal pot. The sandwich and coffee arrived at the same time, which was nice. The sandwich was a toasted sandwich with thick bread that was toasted to a nice golden brown, filled with egg salad and cucumber. I couldn't tell if the cucumber was warmed up by the toast or if it was toasted after being sandwiched, but it had a nice soft texture with just the right amount of saltiness. The thick bread made it feel more like a toast with egg salad on top rather than a traditional sandwich. The coffee had a strong bitterness to it, which I really enjoyed. It seemed like they recommended it for milk coffee. I tried one sugar cube, and it made the coffee even better. That's why they make it strong.

After shopping at Kuromon Market, take a break at the old-fashioned café "Ibuki". The interior is like stepping back into the Showa era. Nowadays, more trendy cafés are popping up, so places like this are becoming rare. The lighting, with multiple light bulbs lined up like a chandelier, was probably popular back in the day. I order a hot coffee. It arrives, jet black. There are two cubes of sugar on the spoon. It's been ages since I've seen sugar cubes served like this. I start by trying the black coffee without creamer. Wow, it's bitter. This strong, bitter coffee reminds me of the coffee I had as a child. I enjoy about a third of the bitter coffee, then add the creamer and finish it off.
