We used the 2-hour all-you-can-drink course for 4,400 yen. The menu was impressive from the appetizers to the main dishes. The creativity in the appetizers is something you would expect from a proper izakaya. The sashimi and salad were delicious, and the grilled fish was cooked perfectly. The pork cutlet was thick and juicy, very satisfying and incredibly tasty. The stewed pork offal, grilled yam, liver, all were great. Even the mixed rice at the end was delicious without any flaws.

At a company drinking party, a young female staff member was in a bad mood from the start and had a very dry attitude throughout (until the end). It was uncomfortable for us, who came with the intention of having fun. The food was incredibly delicious, and there was a unique sake called "Bamboo Sake." Although I couldn't take a photo, the super tender pork cutlet was a big hit with everyone.

It was a holiday so I thought it would be crowded, but luckily I was able to enter at the right timing. However, it seemed crowded because it took some time for the food to be served, with the second dish arriving one hour after entering the restaurant. The first dish, the tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette), was to my liking with a slightly sweet taste and satisfying. The robatayaki (Japanese charcoal-grilled food) had the perfect amount of salt and was delicious. I wanted to try more dishes but this time I just had a quick drink, so I'll save that for next time. Even though it was a quick drink, I couldn't resist ordering the shime (finishing dish) ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it) and I was happy to see Akahoshi (a brand of sake) on the menu. ✨✨

The atmosphere of the staff was nice and it was a pleasant place to drink. The food is cooked on an open hearth, giving a unique sensation. The salt-grilled sweetfish is just right when eaten without the salt. The new potato miso dish is recommended to order first as the miso goes well with other dishes. The taiyaki ice cream with red bean paste and vanilla is a perfect combination. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the stylish interior gives off a cozy, hidden gem vibe. Despite it being a Sunday, the fact that it was fully booked proved it's a great restaurant.

Visited with colleagues. We were seated at the counter. Despite it being a bit late, the restaurant was still lively. We ordered a la carte dishes: mapo tofu, grilled flounder, pork cutlet, stir-fried ginkgo nuts, and fried smelt. We had to wait quite a bit, but all the dishes were delicious. The grilled flounder, in particular, was a must-try. Although the flounder was a bit small, the flesh was tender and tasty.

This is a shop located a little away from the station on a bus street. The food is decently delicious. The best thing is the wonderful atmosphere of the shop. The interior is very clean and the counter is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. You can also see the teppanyaki cooking from the counter.

I wanted to go to an izakaya where I could also eat fish, so I found it on Tabelog and visited for the first time! The phone service was good and I had high expectations. They were accommodating when I needed to change the reservation time, which I appreciated. I chose the 4980 yen course with grilled golden snapper in the middle, as I wanted to try it. The course included seasonal appetizers, tuna and avocado salad, tender pork cutlet, grilled chicken skewers, grilled golden snapper, seasonal seafood clay pot rice, and dessert. However, the actual dishes were quite different. We had seasonal appetizers (octopus, roast beef, eggplant), a sashimi platter (probably tuna, sea bream, and mackerel), tuna and avocado salad, and then there was a long wait with no food coming out. Eventually, we were served miso-marinated grilled fish, which was supposed to be from the 4400 yen course, not the 4980 yen course we ordered. When I asked about the golden snapper, they said they had run out. I was upset that they changed the main dish without asking us. We ended up having the miso-marinated fish. The tender pork cutlet was indeed tender but had a strange smell. The grilled chicken skewers were tasty. The clay pot rice was supposed to have clams and bamboo shoots, but they substituted it with eel and egg, which was a disappointment. I struggled to eat the eel due to the numerous bones. Overall, I was not satisfied with the experience, especially being charged the full price for a course where the main dish was changed without consent. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Course meal with all-you-can-drink option for around 5000 yen. The portion is generous and the taste is great. The seating arrangement is perfect for entertaining clients, and the staff provides a sense of security with their excellent service. There is also dessert, so even women will be satisfied. I wish there was a similar restaurant in Minato-ku, Mita, or Yokohama instead of Mitaka.

Located on the outskirts of Mitaka, just a 5-minute walk from Mitaka Station, this restaurant stands quietly away from the hustle and bustle of the station. They offer reasonably priced dishes like sashimi, and their specialty, robatayaki chicken, was delicious. It's a nice touch that they also serve bamboo sake.

I finally went to Robata 2nd Generation, which I had been curious about! The restaurant has private rooms visible from the outside, an open kitchen counter, and a separate room with seating for about 30 people, including tatami mats, sunken kotatsu tables, and regular table seats. It didn't seem that spacious from the entrance, but it was actually quite a large restaurant. Since I was dining alone, the staff kindly offered me a half-size portion. I was soothed by their cheerful and thoughtful service. It's a very friendly place where you can chat with regular customers and feel at home. The food is all carefully prepared, with seasonal dishes, and the specialty is the robatayaki. This time, I tried the sweetfish, but I also wanted to try the Robata chicken! However, the portion size was too much for one person, so I had to give up this time, but I'll definitely try it next time! The grilled yam dish, with its crispy skin, was a delicious accompaniment. I'll definitely go back to get another boost of energy from the food!

A few minutes' walk from Mitaka Station's south exit is a restaurant. You can find the location on a map. I had made a reservation for a private room, but they said it wasn't available and seated me at the counter instead. I wish they had contacted me in advance. However, I was personally very satisfied with the atmosphere, food, and drinks at the restaurant. I had reserved a 4000 yen course, and it was very delicious. The dishes kept coming one after another, and I ended up feeling very full. The drinks were also to my liking, and I enjoyed them. The staff were friendly and left a good impression on me. I would definitely want to go back again.

The prices are a bit higher compared to chain restaurants like Otoya, but the flavors are good. The counter seating provides ample space for each person, allowing for a relaxed dining experience even without tables. This restaurant seems capable of meeting a wide range of needs.

There were many out-of-stock Japanese sake options, and it was difficult to order what we wanted. The timing of food and drink service was quite sporadic. It's not ideal for business entertaining due to the irregular timing. The food itself was delicious, so it felt a bit wasteful.

However, it was a bit disappointing that they got not a single character of my last name (kanji) correct. The food and drinks were delicious, and I had a great time.
