We already have a ritual at IY Musashikoyama store (lol). My wife and I had lunch together on a holiday. ◆ Gomoku Ankake Yakisoba (firm fried noodles) 1,529 yen (mine) ◆ Chicken Yuzu Noodles 835 yen (wife) ◆ Addictive Gyoza 396 yen It's probably been a while since I ate Gomoku Ankake Yakisoba here. First of all, I'm happy that the sauce is hot. And there are plenty of vegetables and seafood, so there is a lot of umami. When the completion level is this high, I don't mind the price. I raised my rating by 1 point from usual. It was a nice service that they brought a lot of karashi (spicy mustard) in a separate dish when I asked for it. It's hard to underestimate the cooking training system of Zai Corporation. Thank you for the meal.

There is a Chinese restaurant on the basement floor of Ito Yokado. It is connected to the food court but also has indoor seating. I had the five-ingredient ankake yakisoba, and stir-fried mushrooms and eggs. Each dish costs around 1,000 yen, so it's a bit pricey. The ankake yakisoba looked rich but tasted quite light. As a fan of strong flavors, I found it a bit lacking and ended up adding soy sauce.

When choosing a restaurant, I go on an adventurous journey with my ultra-conservative wife. So, we have lunch at Kurenai Tiger Gyoza-ya.
- Spicy Sichuan-style tantan noodles for 990 yen. The four spicy marks indicate the spiciest dish in the shop, and it truly lives up to its reputation. My lips were numb after eating, but surprisingly, I didn't sweat much.
- Chicken yuzu noodles (for my wife)
- Addictive grilled dumplings
Thank you for the delicious meal.

I came to IY for shopping and visited the popular restaurant "Kanko Gyoza-Bo." I was a bit hungry, so I ordered the unusual half fried rice set. It was too much for my middle-aged body (I was full). The tantanmen at this restaurant is not too spicy, so it's suitable for everyone. Recommended set menu at Kanko Gyoza-Bo: - Choice of noodles and half fried rice set: Black sesame tantanmen 1,375 yen (mine) - Chicken yuzu noodles 935 yen (wife) - Addictive grilled gyoza (5 pieces) 396 yen

I came to Ito Yokado Musashisakai store for shopping and had lunch at this restaurant as usual. I visited on Saturday at 11:45 am and it was full, with a wait of 2 groups, but I was able to enter in about 5 minutes.
- Tar miso simmered noodles 1,408 yen (mine)
- Shrimp wonton noodles 1,100 yen (wife)
- Grilled dumplings 5 pieces 396 yen
I ordered the Tar miso simmered noodles, which is recommended for winter (limited time for winter?). It is served in a pot, so it is piping hot. It has quite a lot of fluffy pieces of cod. And the noodles are thick flat noodles, which I really like. They have a rich flavor with the miso broth. The leftover miso broth is also delicious, and I had to resist the temptation to drink it all. I imagine it would be delicious with rice added. I also had a piece of my wife's shrimp wonton. The wonton filling is packed with shrimp and has a good aroma. Thank you for the meal.

Dinner on October 5, 2022 (Wednesday). I worked in Higashimurayama all day. For dinner, I got off at a stop along the Chuo Line. I decided to try a restaurant located on the basement floor of the west building of Ito-Yokado's south entrance in Musashisakai. This restaurant is separate from the food court and I had been to a similar one before. I remembered my experience at Tiger Tei in Kokubunji in September, which wasn't bad. I ordered the recommended set menu, which allowed me to choose noodles and half-fried rice. I chose the black sesame tantanmen (1250 yen, tax included 1375 yen). Unfortunately, the black sesame tantanmen wasn't good. It tasted like typical chain restaurant food, lacking in flavor. The noodles were too soft, and the fried rice was also disappointing. I suspect that Tiger Tei in Kokubunji might be one of the better restaurants under Saiko Corporation. Perhaps it's a matter of the chef's skills?

I went to Ito Yokado Musashisakai store for one reason, to get the Calpis Butter for business use. Once you try this butter, you can't stop, it's irresistible. After finishing my errands, it was already 1:30 pm, time for a late lunch. I remembered there was a Red Tiger Gyoza restaurant in the underground food street. I entered and saw a noodle dish I had never tried before - high vegetable and pork. After waiting for about 10 minutes, it arrived. The soup was a dark brown color, not spicy but flavorful. The high vegetable was crunchy and the pork was thinly sliced, making it easy to eat. It was a generous serving of noodles. I highly recommend this high vegetable pork noodle dish, it's wonderful! The black sesame tantan noodles are their specialty, but this high vegetable pork noodle dish is also excellent.

It's been 2 months since our last visit. I ordered the Seafood Ankake Yakisoba with Firm Noodles for 1529 yen, just like last time. It was delicious. My wife, feeling hot, had her eyes set on the old-fashioned Cold Noodles for 1221 yen even before entering the restaurant. She was satisfied with the generous amount of toppings. Thank you for the meal.

It's too hot! So we decided to come to the nearby restaurant called "Kohot Gyoza-Bo". I was thinking of getting cold noodles, but when I looked at the menu, there were two options: cold Chinese noodles and spicy cold noodles. My wife said she could handle level 2 spiciness, so she chose the spicy cold noodles, while I decided to go with the soup-less tantanmen to avoid overlapping with the cold noodles. It turned out to be the right choice! My wife found the spicy cold noodles spicier than expected and gave up, so we switched dishes. The soup-less tantanmen, even at level 3 spiciness, was not as spicy as the spicy cold noodles! The spiciness of the cold noodles hits directly without the miso or sesame mixing in, accumulating as you eat. It's manageable for me, but for the average person, it would be considered extremely spicy. The chicken breast was moist with the spiciness seeping in, while the watercress provided a refreshing touch, making it very tasty and easy to eat. However, it's spicy. When I tried the leftover soup-less tantanmen and meat miso that my wife couldn't finish, it tasted slightly sweet in comparison. Overall, everything we tried was delicious.

My wife loves this store, so whenever we go to Ito Yokado Musashisakai store for lunch, we always end up here. I usually go for spicy noodles, but today I felt like having crispy yakisoba. I ordered Seafood Ankake Yakisoba with crispy noodles for 1529 yen (for me) and Chicken Yuzu Noodles for 880 yen (for my wife). We also got Addictive Grilled Gyoza for 396 yen. The seafood dishes at Koutora Gyoza-ya are known for having a lot of ingredients, allowing you to enjoy plenty of vegetables. The Seafood Ankake Yakisoba was consistently delicious. My wife praised the Addictive Grilled Gyoza for its thin and easy-to-eat skin. I personally prefer the gyoza from Tetsu-nabe Bo Gyoza, but oh well. Thank you for the meal.

It's been quite a while since I last visited Benitora Gyoza-ya. It's a holiday at 1 pm, but it's not crowded. I was tempted by the Shanghai Yakisoba, but I decided to go with the Beni Mala Tan Tan Men. The soup is more black than red, with a spicy aroma. If you're not careful, it will make you cough. It's not as spicy as Nakamoto's Hokkyoku, but if you eat it carelessly, you'll hurt your throat and suffer. I eat it like an Italian eating pasta, not slurping it. The numbing sensation of Sichuan pepper and the spiciness of chili peppers come attacking. There's plenty of meat miso, and this is definitely the one to go for at Benitora. The soup is so delicious that you can't stop drinking it. My wife ordered the Black Sesame Tan Tan Men, but she tasted the Beni Mala soup first and her mouth got numb, so the Black Sesame Tan Tan Men tasted sweet to her for a while.

Today was the birthday of the Emperor. We were just lazing around, but decided to take a walk to Musashisakai for some shopping. After getting everything we needed, we had quite a few bags. We thought about having a late lunch at Marukoh, but the bags were a hassle, so we went to Itoyo's Koutora Gyoza instead. It had been years since we last visited. It was quite empty inside due to the time of day, with plenty of space between tables. We placed our bags down and quickly placed our order. About 5 minutes later, my fried rice arrived, followed by the other dishes. The Koutora Gomoku Fried Rice was generously portioned but lacked flavor. The soup, made with corn, was bland. The fried rice was neither fluffy nor moist, more like plain rice mixed with fried rice seasoning. The Gomoku Toromi Noodles ordered by my friend lacked the expected thickness, disappointing them. The ingredients were good, but the lack of thickness was a letdown. Lastly, we had the Iron Pot Stick Gyoza, a signature dish of Koutora. The meat filling was a bit sparse, but the crunchy texture of the pickled vegetables and glass noodles was addictive. Overall, I usually prefer Tsukemen, but when you have a lot of bags and just want to sit and relax, it's not a bad option. And with that, we left the restaurant. Thank you.

Visited this store multiple times while shopping at Yokado. Saw the winter menu sign and immediately decided to try it out - after all, I love oysters! And I also love shrimp chili, so the winter menu item "Oysters in Chili Sauce" was like a dream menu for me. It was a standalone menu item, but I decided to go for the Oyster Set Meal which came with fried rice, siu mai, soup, and pickles. The oysters in chili sauce were delicious, with plump oysters and a tasty chili sauce. The fried rice was simple but paired well with the chili sauce. The shrimp siu mai was also delicious with a nice shrimp texture. The egg soup was comforting and complemented the bold flavors of the chili sauce. As a fan of oysters and chili sauce, this meal really excited me. The price was a bit high at 1628 yen including tax, but with the generous amount of oysters and the delicious taste, it was worth it! I will definitely come back to try more oyster dishes. Thank you for the meal!

Today at my usual favorite restaurant, I decided to go for the usual (although I do rotate) soupless tantanmen because it was hot outside. After mixing it well, I enjoyed the usual numbing spiciness along with the smooth noodles. However, something felt lacking. It seemed like the saltiness and the seasoning were not enough. It was tasty but the flavor felt a bit weak. Maybe there are times like that too.

It's been a while since I visited Benitora Gyoza-ya for a holiday lunch. It's hot today, so they are serving chilled dishes, but I couldn't resist trying their Red Oil Noodles, along with the classic warm Black Sesame Tan Tan Noodles. The Red Oil Noodles were topped generously with cilantro and radish sprouts, giving a great value for money! The soup had a spicy and numbing flavor, with a sprinkle of white sesame seeds on top. The combination of Sichuan peppercorn numbing sensation and the heat from the chili peppers was delicious. The soup was a bit strong in flavor, making me want to order an extra serving of noodles. The Black Sesame Tan Tan Noodles, as always, were delicious and comforting. Thank you for the meal.

In July 2021, I visited the restaurant again after a disappointing experience in May where the noodles in the soupless tantanmen dish were clumped together and too thin. However, during my recent visit, I noticed that the noodles had returned to their original form - firm and separate. I tried the black sesame tantanmen and it was delicious! This positive experience encouraged me to try the soupless tantanmen again a few days later, and I was pleased to find that the noodles had indeed returned to their former quality. I am relieved and happy to be able to visit this restaurant again, especially since it is conveniently located.

The weather is nice and I want to go out and play, but it's a period of self-restraint so I guess I'll have to hold back. Besides, it seems like everywhere is crowded, so I decided to have lunch locally at my usual spot, the "Red Tiger Dumpling House". I wanted to try something different this time, so I ordered the Shanghai-style fried noodles for the first time. Wow, it's delicious! It's full of ingredients and the portion is generous. I added some chili oil and vinegar halfway through, making it refreshing and slightly spicy, and finished it all. Towards the end, I felt the taste was a bit strong, but I balanced it out with the light egg drop soup. It was a feast. Everything here is delicious.

It had been about a month since I last visited Koutora Gyoza-ya, and I decided to order the soupless tantanmen, which I hadn't had in about six months. My wife ordered the black sesame tantanmen. I noticed that the menu had been slightly updated since my last visit, with additions like chicken yuzu men and pickled mustard greens with shredded pork noodles. My wife tried the black sesame tantanmen first and commented, "The noodles have changed." What? They changed the noodles? I wondered how the soupless tantanmen would be, and when it arrived, it looked delicious with plenty of chili peppers on top. However, when I tried to mix it, the noodles were clumped together and wouldn't separate. In the past, even with soupless tantanmen, there was some liquid at the bottom that made it easier to mix, but today's noodles were thin and soft, sticking together tightly and not separating no matter how much I mixed. The flavor was very good, but these noodles just don't work. Finally managing to mix it, the noodles still clung together and had a slimy texture when eaten. It's a shame. I hope they go back to the original noodles.

On Sundays, I often come to this popular restaurant, Red Tiger Dumpling House, for lunch. I usually order spicy noodles like tantanmen, mapo noodles, and hot and sour soup noodles, so I rarely try non-spicy dishes like noodles or fried rice. However, this time a new menu item caught my eye and I was intrigued, so I decided to order something not spicy for a change and share it. The clam fried rice was delicious. It was refreshing, so I added some pepper as usual! The shrimp wonton ramen had a traditional soy sauce ramen soup. It was slightly sweet and had a soft texture. It was a comforting and delicious taste.

I came back to my usual favorite, Koukou Gyoza-en, for lunch. I was just here last weekend, but I come here quite often. I wanted to try the vegetable-packed Chanpon at Ringer Hut in the same food court for a change, but my wife loves this place. Well, I like it too. So this time, after a long time, I had the Spicy Tantanmen. I had been eating the White Sesame and Black Sesame Tantanmen consecutively, so I slurped it down without thinking and the spiciness got stuck in a weird place in my throat because it was really hot. Just like the North Pole, you shouldn't slurp it down. The Sansho pepper was also strong and the soup and ingredients were delicious!! I always enjoy it without getting tired of it. Thank you for the meal.
