- Food, impressions ⬇ ★Potato Salad ¥350 Egg-based potato salad with a nice touch of black pepper. The crunchy texture of the boiled egg is good! ★Grilled Chicken Thigh ¥780 Crispy skin, tender meat with bursts of flavor in every bite. Eating it alone, you can taste the saltiness. Eating it with onions, bean sprouts, and garlic chips disperses the saltiness perfectly and makes it very delicious. ★Bamboo Shoots Not on the menu, but recommended by the staff. Large and fluffy, a must-try seasonal dish! ★Lamb Skewers Must be pre-ordered via DM. Has a fragrant cumin flavor, juicy and tender. ★Egg and Leek Skewers Also must be pre-ordered via DM. Rich and chewy "egg" with a flavorful and tender "leek," perfect as a snack. ★Hormone Skewers Also must be pre-ordered via DM. Has a firm and bouncy texture, the rich sauce complements the green onions and sesame seeds perfectly. Goes well with sake. The skewers are larger than expected and perfectly cooked, very delicious. It's clear why this is a popular and hard-to-reserve restaurant. - Ambiance, clientele, service ⬇ The restaurant has a counter with 11 seats and a table at the back that can accommodate up to 3 people, although it might feel a bit cramped with 3. The cozy atmosphere is calming. The clientele is diverse, with couples in their 40s and groups of office workers enjoying themselves. The service is friendly and welcoming, with the owner and staff exuding a likable aura and leaving a good impression. - Recommended for ⬇ People who want to enjoy hearty grilled chicken, those looking for good value grilled chicken, and those who want to taste delicious grilled chicken. Definitely worth making a reservation and trying it out. - Reservation method ⬇ Reserve via DM from the restaurant's account @takeya0708! Reservations for the following month are accepted on the 3rd or 4th Thursday of each month starting at 12:00. Provide the desired date and time, number of people, name, and phone number in the DM. If you want to reserve skewers (egg and leek, hormone, lamb skewers), do it at the same time! Check the restaurant's account regularly for available reservation dates. Thank you for reading until the end! I have an Instagram account @pochi_gourmet, feel free to check it out!

Takeya is now a super popular restaurant where you can't get in without a reservation. On the day reservations open, they receive over 100 DMs, which is crazy! I went to Takeya after a long time and had a great time. Here are some of the dishes I tried: - Sliced green peppers and dashimaki tamago: Crispy green peppers with a flavorful dashi-filled rolled omelette. A must-try! - Seseri charcoal-grilled: Tender and flavorful seseri grilled over charcoal. Perfect with some drinks. - Sasami (chicken tenderloin): A large piece of rare sasami with various flavor options. I chose wasabi, and it was amazing! - Tsukune cheese: A classic dish at Takeya with juicy tsukune and melty cheese inside. - Chicken liver: A thick and juicy piece of chicken liver with a great texture. - Kinkan (kumquat): A must-order dish that needs to be pre-ordered. It's soft and flavorful, with a great visual appeal. Takeya also offers dishes like extra-large grilled rice balls and creamy oyakodon, which I love. I'll definitely make another reservation soon to enjoy more delicious food at Takeya!

Fukushima's popular yakitori restaurant with hard-to-get reservations posts their monthly reservation opening date on their Instagram account, where they also accept reservations via DM. Despite being an affordable yakitori restaurant, the food is incredibly delicious with generous portions and a wide variety of rare cuts. The grilled Soliles, recommended by the chef, is a must-have when available. The chicken tataki with sweet garlic soy sauce is also delicious. The rare breast meat skewers with wasabi were great, but I'm curious about the yuzu mayo and plum flavors. Whether it's tsukune, negima, liver, cartilage, gizzard, or heart, everything is delicious, so make sure to come with a big appetite and try the grilled rice ball as a finale.

☆彡I wanted to go to a popular yakitori restaurant in Fukushima-ku, known for its voluminous portions and reasonable prices, but reservations have been made in advance for months. On the reservation day, I eagerly awaited the 6:00 PM opening along with regular customers, with four of us entering the restaurant. Since we were all beginners at Grilled Takeya, we left everything from reservations to ordering to the regular customers. When I heard the familiar yakitori skewer menu, I couldn't help but raise my hand for additional orders. Later on, I realized that the volume of yakitori was unimaginable, and eating all of it would make me really full. ○ Soriresu Aburi (913 yen) ○ Momotataki (913 yen) ○ Dashimaki (605 yen) ○ Zuripon (605 yen) ○ Age-yamaimo (605 yen) [Skewers] ○ Tsukune ○ Negima ○ Seseri ○ Sasami ○ Kokoro ○ Nankotsu ○ Tebasaki ○ Aka wiener ○ Shiitake ○ Shinkokumotsu ○ Tamahimo ○ Hormone [Drinks] ○ Asahi Premium Draft Beer ○ Sapporo Lager Red Star ○ Shinomine Junmai Ginjo Yumachi Natsurin Unfiltered Sake ○ Sanchimori Natsunigori Active Sparkling ○ Masumi Dry One ○ Ganse Junmai Ginjo Muroka Jukuseishu ○ Sanchimori Junmai Daiginjo Dry Beer After toasting with beer, we were served with finely chopped green peppers as a casual dish. It was unexpectedly delicious and addictive with olive oil. Any restaurant that serves delicious appetizers and side dishes can be expected to be good, right? I was shocked by the size of the yakitori, which was delicious and surprised me twice. Each skewer was so voluminous that the skewers were heavy. The chicken meat was difficult to cook, but the grilling was excellent. The tamahimo hanging down looked great on Instagram, but the volume was too amazing. If you hold more than three, it just looks like a lump of meat, but with only two, it's suitable for a cover photo shoot. The yakitori with a mountainous volume for only two skewers was unique. The brand of chicken meat was unknown, but the umami overflowed from the inside when grilled over charcoal. I was so absorbed in the salt and sauce that I devoured it eagerly. I wanted to eat more variety, but with 12 skewers, I was almost full. The last thing I had reserved was a super-sized grilled rice ball of 600g, but the grilling was magical. The rice ball with plenty of meat miso and green onions was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. My friend who can eat a lot finished half of it, and the rest was shared by three of us. Even so, we were too full to move. Despite eating and drinking all the time, the bill was less than 10,000 yen, which was reasonable. It's understandable why reservations fill up quickly due to its popularity. [Reservation for the next month is accepted on Instagram once a month] Instagram @takeya0708 Reservations not available after 8:00 PM. If there are vacancies on the day, you can use them. Thank you for reading to the end. Your likes, saves, and follows are encouraging. Please check out my Instagram @ginjirou.star if you'd like. Thank you!

Grill Takeya is a hidden gem located a 6-8 minute walk from Fukushima Station, offering generous portions of yakitori at a reasonable price. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance as they tend to fill up quickly, especially during early hours. The friendly owner often prepares special dishes for regular customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere. During my visit, I enjoyed dishes such as grilled sori slices, fried yam, zuri pon (a type of vinegar-based dish), sliced bell peppers, thick fried tofu, grilled rice balls, and several chicken skewers. The grilled sori slices were perfectly cooked, showcasing the quality of the chicken meat. The bell peppers were light and refreshing, while the fresh sori sashimi was delicious even on its own. The fried yam had a nice texture, and the tangy zuri pon paired well with sake. The yakitori selection was impressive, with options like plum and shiso, yuzu mayo, and large cuts of sand liver. The skewers were all delicious and complemented by the generous portions. The special grilled rice ball with meat miso had a crispy exterior and a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. Overall, the restaurant offered a satisfying dining experience with a variety of high-quality dishes. I highly recommend visiting Grill Takeya. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The prices were revised from June. #Grilled Takaya, but still such a generous portion! Considering the taste, I think it's cheap (as shown in the 7th photo). The chicken bones that not many people would choose are ( ゚∀゚)! The chicken bones here are big and I really like them. The tsukune, grilled rice balls, and soliles are all good, but I also recommend the chicken bones m(__)m I enjoyed the meal this day too! Thank you very much!

One day, pe_chan messaged me on LINE. "Want to go to Grill Takeya? It's a hard-to-reserve yakitori restaurant in Fukushima!" "Yes, let's go!" And so, we visited Grill Takeya. Reservations can only be made once a month through Instagram. Reservations are limited to 18:00-20:00. For limited menu items like chicken sashimi, hormone, and lamb skewers, you need to order the required quantity when making a reservation. If there are seats available after 20:00, you can also walk in. It's best to check the restaurant's Instagram for more details. We arrived at 18:30 for our reservation. The friendly master and mistress were the only staff working. We started with the toribi skewer. Here's what we ordered: [Food] - Chicken thigh tataki - Chicken tenderloin seared - Whole chicken leg with bone - Grilled chicken skin - Soriresu seared - Chicken liver skewer - Grilled green pepper slices - Chicken breast skewer - Soriresu sashimi - Chicken neck skewer - Chicken heart skewer - Chicken wing tip - Fried yam - Chicken tail skewer - Lamb skewer - Chicken meatball plain [Drinks] - Draft beer - Gohyakumangoku Taratan sake - Highball x2 - Sanchisakari Natsu ni Gori Active Sparkling Overall, the dishes were delicious and the chicken was of high quality. We may have ordered too much this time, but with around 5000 yen, you can enjoy a good meal. The large grilled rice balls also caught our eye. A wonderful restaurant that I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Negima, gizzards, and chicken tenderloin are priced at ¥180 per skewer, while the hamburger-like tsukune is ¥250 per skewer at the Grill Takeya, which offers carefully selected chicken at very reasonable prices. Today, four of us visited the restaurant aiming for delicious carb dishes such as the ultimate oyakodon! If we share, we should be able to try a variety of dishes without overordering. The skewers are large, so be careful not to order too much! We started with some small dishes: - Grilled chicken skin skewer for ¥780 - Sliced green peppers for ¥350 - Potato salad for ¥350. The grilled chicken skin skewer was chewy and flavorful, while the sliced green peppers were simple but a good accompaniment to the yakitori. The potato salad was simple yet delicious. Moving on to the skewers: - Chicken cartilage for ¥210 - Chicken liver for ¥180 - Chicken tenderloin (seseri) for ¥180. The portions of each skewer were generous, with the chicken cartilage having plenty of meat attached. The chicken liver was tender and melted in the mouth, while the chicken tenderloin had a luxurious amount of meat. The restaurant strives to keep prices low despite the rising cost of chicken in Japan. We switched to sake and ordered: - Iwase sake for ¥900. It paired well with the yakitori. For the main dishes, we ordered: - Chicken tail skewer (market price) - Chicken heart skewer (market price) - Tsukune with cheese for ¥300. We also made a reservation for chicken tail, chicken heart, and lamb skewers. The chicken tail skewer had a unique texture and a variety of flavors. The chicken heart skewer was a mix of seseri and liver, offering a delightful texture. The tsukune with cheese was a must-try dish that made us smile. To finish off, we ordered: - Oyakodon for ¥780 - Chicken soup noodles for ¥550. Personally, I also wanted to try the red wiener for ¥180. The oyakodon was a hearty dish with grilled chicken, leeks, and plenty of egg. The rice was generously portioned and the rich, creamy egg made the dish stand out. The chicken soup noodles were comforting and soothing, with a rich yet gentle broth and straight noodles. A simple and satisfying way to end the meal. Personally, I recommend the red wiener as a final dish. Grilled over charcoal, it had a special taste that made it stand out. Overall, the meal was delicious and satisfying, and the prices were very reasonable. Next, we headed to Ekinox, a wine bar in Fukushima, only to find it closed. Following our drinking instincts, we found another place to continue our night out. Enjoy your meal!

Fukushima: Osaka Grill Takeya @takeya0708 A great value yakitori restaurant that I keep coming back to. You can make reservations for entry between 6-8pm, but after 8pm it's more of a first-come, first-served situation. This time, I was determined to try the soup noodles with chicken, and it did not disappoint! The yakitori skewers are big and delicious. The cheese tsukune skewer is a must-try! We also ordered yakionigiri in both regular and small sizes. Once again, the food was incredibly tasty and the value for money was excellent! They accept reservations via Instagram or phone, but they fill up quickly, so I recommend making a reservation as soon as they become available! #GrillTakeya #FukushimaGourmet #OsakaGourmet #UmedaGourmet #OsakaYakitori #HardToGetReservation #FoodiesConnect #FoodieGirls #Foodstagram #YakitoriLovers #OsakaTravel #OsakaEats #UmedaSkyBuilding #UmedaEats #RecommendedByTakarogu

Visited the popular yakitori restaurant Grill Takeya in Fukushima after not being able to go in December and January. Finally, after a long time, I was able to visit. Ordered: Seared chicken neck (780 yen), Sliced green pepper (350 yen), Fried mountain yam (500 yen), Plain tsukune (250 yen), Chicken tenderloin (180 yen), Gizzard (180 yen), Liver (180 yen), Heart (180 yen), Skin (180 yen), Cartilage (210 yen). Chouchin (specialty chicken part), hormone, and lamb require advance reservation. Unfortunately, my favorite Soliles seared chicken wasn't available due to avian influenza, but the liver was delicious! Gizzard, tsukune, and cartilage are must-haves! Everything was delicious as always. Also ordered a grilled rice ball (350 yen) which was over 800g! Surprisingly, I was able to finish it all. The fact that it was cooked perfectly was impressive. All in all, everything was delicious!

I finally visited the long-awaited and admired yakitori restaurant, Grill Takeya, about an 8-minute walk from JR Osaka Loop Line, Fukushima Station! I was determined to eat plenty of yakitori today. The yakitori at Grill Takeya is huge and the zuri and kokoro were seriously the most delicious I've ever had. The lamb skewers, horumon, and tamahimo require reservations, and they were also incredibly juicy and substantial. The satisfaction from these dishes is hard to find elsewhere. The karaage, dashimaki, and other side dishes were also delicious, and I had already decided to order the grilled rice balls as a finisher. Despite their huge size, I devoured them easily because they were so tasty. It was absolutely fantastic. It was so great that I immediately secured my next reservation. I will definitely be visiting this place many more times! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The yakitori restaurant serving Miyazaki Jidori chicken is located about a 10-minute walk from Fukushima Station, with few people passing by. Most of the seating is at the counter, with only 1 or 2 tables. The tsukune cheese was really delicious, with the perfect combination of the size of the tsukune, the sweet and savory sauce, the fluffy meat, and the stretchy cheese! The charcoal-grilled local chicken was even more delicious when dipped in yuzu pepper.

[Received Menu] - Sliced bell peppers (¥385) - Grilled chicken thighs (¥858) - Soriresu (¥858) - Cheese tsukune (¥330 per skewer) - Negima (¥198 per skewer) - Liver (¥198 per skewer) - Heart (¥198 per skewer) - Skin (¥198 per skewer) - Chicken wings (¥231 per skewer) - Chouchin (price not specified) - Lamb (price not specified) - Heart leftovers (price not specified) - Chicken soup (¥385) [Impressions] First, I tried the bell pepper slices that I often saw on Instagram. The thinly sliced bell peppers tasted like a light pickled dish, with no bitterness and perfect for refreshing the palate. The grilled chicken thighs had a nice texture and the flavor intensified with each bite. The Soriresu had a smoky charcoal aroma at first, followed by a rich chicken umami taste. You can order skewers individually, and they all come in generous portions! The sauce was not too sweet and had a refreshing taste. I highly recommend trying the liver. Its shiny texture and slightly rare quality are irresistible. The famous cheese tsukune was surprisingly large, almost like a hamburger with cheese oozing out from the inside. The combination of meat juices, cheese, and sauce was delicious and a must-try dish. Next, I tried the lamb, chouchin, and heart leftovers, which you need to order in advance. The lamb was seasoned with various spices, masking the typical lamb aroma, making it easy to eat. The chouchin had a perfect combination of egg yolk and sauce inside, while the heart leftovers are a must-try for offal lovers. I wanted to try the grilled rice balls, but I was too full to order them. I'll definitely try them next time. Overall, this restaurant offers affordable, generous, and delicious dishes. It's no wonder it's popular. Don't forget to order the lamb, chouchin, and heart leftovers in advance if you want to try them. Definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant has become so popular that it's difficult to make a reservation. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, so it's understandable. I asked the chef to squeeze us in for a second round, and we enjoyed the large and delicious skewers starting from there. Each skewer costs around 150 yen, which is like convenience store prices, but the portions are big, fresh, and the sauce is tasty. The shiitake mushrooms are thick and delicious. The grilling over charcoal is perfect, and there are plenty of photogenic menu items. The chicken cartilage, liver, and cheese meatballs are must-tries. The huge meatball, when split open, oozes out gooey cheese. The hidden menu items like tamahimo, kokoronokori, and lamb need to be ordered at the time of reservation. The tamahimo is photogenic, so be ready to snap a picture. The closing rice dish, if the chef is in a good mood, is incredibly large, so be prepared. The grilled rice balls look like something out of a manga. Personally, I love the chicken and egg bowl for 650 yen. Okay, next time I'll make sure to reserve for the first round. To make a reservation, check the Grill Takeya Instagram at the end of the month for next month's schedule. If the timing works out, you might still be able to get a reservation. Enjoy your meal!

Fukushima: Osaka Grill Takeya @takeya0708 I've always wanted to go to this restaurant. I made a reservation for August but couldn't go, so I had a rematch in September. The staff at the restaurant were very nice. Here's what we ordered: - Chouchin - Tsukune Cheese ¥275 - Negima ¥165 - Seseri ¥165 - Sasami (Ume Plum/Yuzu Mayo) ¥165 - Zuri ¥165 - Kimo ¥165 - Kokoro ¥165 - Kawa ¥165 - Nankotsu ¥198 - Hormone - Lamb skewer - Momo Yaki (medium) ¥770 - Tori Yukke ¥770 - Potato salad ¥330 - Zuri Pon ¥495 - Grilled rice ball - Tori soup ¥330 *Note: Prices are per skewer. We ate a lot! The prices were unbelievably cheap and the skewers were large. And delicious! It's no wonder it's so popular. Personally, I found the sasami and kimo to be quite rare, so I prefer them a bit more cooked. The tsukune was huge, like a hamburger. Lastly, when we ordered the grilled rice ball, it was the size of a rice bowl and we ended up really full. When we asked, they said they made it bigger assuming we were sharing. Even though the sign outside says "Fully booked with reservations," there were still several groups trying to walk in and getting turned away. I think reservations are a must. It seemed like you could walk in after 8pm if there was availability. I will definitely go back!

I made a reservation about a month ago and finally got to go! There were many rare bird dishes on the menu and the cost performance was great. The chicken sashimi and hormone I reserved were delicious, and the unusual parts of the chicken were also very tasty. The skewers were cheap too! The grilled rice ball was huge, even when shared among three people, it was more than enough.

I was impressed by the rareness and volume of the tender and juicy chicken liver and gizzard, so I decided to revisit! However, the different dishes I tried during my second visit were also delicious. The grilled chicken liver skewers (770 yen) with sweet sauce and garlic, as well as with ponzu sauce and mustard, were both excellent. The aroma and flavor of the grilled chicken liver were amazing. I highly recommend trying both the grilled chicken liver skewers and sashimi! The cheese-stuffed meatballs (250 yen) tasted even better when eaten last, with a fluffy texture despite being meaty. The grilled rice balls (330 yen) with plum and bonito flavor were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the plum and bonito flavor was just right. The grilled hormone (650 yen) was thick and chewy, with a generous amount of mustard and served with ponzu cabbage. The chicken breast (150 yen) was lightly grilled with wasabi and yuzu mayo, and was fluffy and large. The wasabi had a strong kick, but I preferred the yuzu mayo. The special hormone dish (reservation required) was a rare cut that is not commonly found in other restaurants, and it had a unique taste and texture. The volume and rareness were impressive, and it was cooked perfectly rare. The chicken liver (150 yen) was large and rare, but it was not served hot, which was disappointing. The gizzard, triangle, and seseri skewers (each 150 yen) passed the test in terms of volume, saltiness, and juiciness. We had a full meal for two people for a total of 7200 yen! I was surprised by the cost performance of this place. The volume and rareness of the dishes are unparalleled. I recommend trying the grilled chicken liver skewers and sashimi, cheese-stuffed meatballs, and chicken liver. The reservation for next month starts on the last Thursday of each month, so be sure to check their Instagram for announcements!

I finally tried the restaurant I had been curious about for a while, and the result was very satisfying. The seared "toro" (fatty tuna) at Soraless was amazing, with a perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. The option to enjoy it with either ponzu sauce or sweet Kyushu-style soy sauce was a nice touch. The "seseri" (chicken neck) was huge and had a great chewy texture. The "sasami" (chicken breast) with plum and wasabi was also delicious, with a perfect cooking technique. The classic "negima" (chicken and green onion skewers) did not disappoint. The "dashimaki" (rolled omelette) was gentle and tasty, and the "ponjiri" (chicken tail) was juicy and flavorful. The cheese-stuffed meatball was huge and satisfying. I ended the meal with chicken soup noodles. In addition to what is shown in the photos, I also had another cheese-stuffed meatball, along with draft beer, lime shochu highball, and oolong tea. All of this for only 4730 yen? It was delicious, filling, and affordable. Definitely worth it. I visited in mid-July and was told that reservations for the first half of July were already full. It's a popular spot for good reason. I will definitely be coming back, although it might be a bit challenging to get a reservation since I prefer to drop in spontaneously.
