Hello. I'm Keinsuke. Today, I will introduce a cafe called "stove" in Fukushima, Osaka. It is a small cafe located north of JR Fukushima Station, just a short walk from the station. Make sure to check if they have the "Dragon Egg Pudding" displayed outside before entering (as it often sells out). The pudding costs 450 yen, but the drinks are a bit more expensive. Still, it's around 1000 yen for both, which is nice. The atmosphere of the cafe is welcoming for solo male customers, but it's small and quiet, so it's better to avoid large groups. [FOOD] - Dragon Egg Pudding (450 yen) The visual appeal of this pudding is mesmerizing even before taking a bite. It looks cute and fantastic, with a dark caramel on top of the pudding. The cream and cherry on top add a cute touch. The texture is as expected, firm and the taste is rich in egg flavor. If you prefer a classic pudding with a strong egg flavor over a sweet and creamy one, you will surely enjoy this pudding. I paired it with a mixed juice, which complemented the pudding well. If you like rich and egg-flavored pudding, be sure to give it a try. Thank you for the meal. [Shop Information] - Name: stove - Address: 2-10-3 Sagisuzu, Fukushima-ku, Osaka, Osaka - Nearest Station: Fukushima (JR), 5-minute walk - Phone: 06-4981-0875 - Hours: [Mon-Wed, Fri] 11:30-18:00, [Sat/Sun/Holidays] 11:00-18:00 - Closed: Thursdays - Customer Base: Men Alone, Men Only, Women Alone, Women Only, Students, Families, Elderly, Couples, Salarymen/OL - Age Group: 10-20s, 30-50s, 60s and above - Notes: No Private Rooms, No Scenic View, No Power Outlets, WiFi Available, May Have Lines, Reservations Recommended, Station Nearby, Instagrammable, Quiet, Suitable for Long Stays, Fun Atmosphere, Hidden Gem *Please note that the information is based on the experience at the time of visit. Continuing with tea time, the famous pudding was sold out, so I had the baked cheesecake instead. The coffee and desserts were both on the mellow side, which was not bad. Most importantly, it met my personal criteria for a good cafe, which is feeling like you're relaxing at home. I'm not sure if it's always like this, but the small shop was overflowing with customers.

I ordered hot coffee and Basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was smooth and very delicious. The coffee was a bit dark roasted, which I liked. The cafe was full of young women and had a nice atmosphere. I would like to stop by again.

Rich! Dragon Egg Pudding Fukushima [Cafe Stove] @kissa.stove✎︎__________◎Dragon Egg Pudding ¥500◎Slightly Dark Roast Blend (Regular) ¥550*1 drink minimum☕️I've been wanting to try this pudding since I found it before. The visual is amazing and you can tell it's rich just by looking at it. When you taste it, you can really feel the egg texture in this firm pudding. The slightly bitter caramel does a great job❤️‍It's so delicious~♪ I had a cozy time in the cute cafe☺️Next time, I want to try the Basque cheesecake too♪#CafeStove #DragonEggPudding #DragonEgg #Pudding #PuddingLovers #FukushimaGourmet #FukushimaCafe #OsakaCafe #KansaiGourmet #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch #CafeHopping

Fukushima Station is about a 10-minute walk from a cozy and stylish café called Kissaten Stove. I remember passing by it before and being intrigued by it. The pudding looked delicious, so I kept it in mind. When my friend mentioned wanting to go to a café in Fukushima, we ended up at the same café by chance. Luckily, there was a table available, so we went in right away. I had black tea, and my friend had coffee. Of course, we also tried the pudding. The pudding was made with the famous dragon eggs and cost 500 yen. It looked rich and delightful. The Earl Grey tea was 550 yen. The pudding was nostalgic and rich, with a hint of cherry on top. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that the Basque cheesecake at Cafe Stove is delicious, so I decided to visit. The cakes, including the popular pudding, are made with high-quality eggs called "Ryu no Tamago." The cafe is located slightly off the main street of Seiten-dori Shopping Street. Nearby, there is also Tenerezza, known for its pizza baked in a stone oven. The cafe has a simple and clean exterior with white walls and a warm and cozy interior filled with tasteful decorations. The female owner's customer service is polite and kind. The cafe has a total of 3 counter seats and 3 tables for 2 people and 2 tables for 4 people. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday and was able to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with only a few other customers. The cafe is open from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays and 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends (closed on Thursdays). They also offer a lunch set on weekdays (12:00 pm onwards, available until sold out). Today's lunch set is priced at 1,000 yen (1,200 yen with a drink, cake can be ordered at a discount of 100 yen). It includes teriyaki chicken, kinpira burdock, tamagoyaki, miso soup, and fruits. The food menu includes special Basque cheesecake, Ryu no Tamago pudding, Victoria cake with strawberries, Calpis butter toast, cinnamon toast, maple butter toast, and French toast. The cafe serves coffee from Oita's Bean Mine Coffee in 6 varieties and tea from Ashiya Uf-fu in 5 varieties, along with flavored teas, herbal teas, banana juice, and mixed juices. The blended coffee comes in three varieties: dark roast, slightly dark roast, and light roast, each made with different beans. The dark roast has a deep and rich flavor with a hint of bitterness, while the slightly dark roast is well-balanced with hints of acidity and fruitiness. I ordered the dark roast blend coffee and the special Basque cheesecake. The coffee was meticulously brewed and served in about 10 minutes along with the cake. The special Basque cheesecake is a delicacy from the Basque region. It is baked at high temperatures for a short time until the outside is slightly burnt, resulting in a caramel-like bitterness and a fragrant aroma. The cheesecake inside is incredibly smooth, creamy, and melts on the tongue. The use of Ryu no Tamago eggs gives it a rich eggy flavor with a subtle cheese richness. The acidity and nuances of the cheese are understated, allowing the gentle sweetness of the eggs to shine through, reminiscent of pudding or custard. The cake is rich and creamy without being overwhelming, with a fantastic mouthfeel. The raspberry sauce adds a sweet and tangy touch that complements the cheesecake beautifully. The dark roast blend coffee has a full-bodied and deep aroma with a pleasant nuttiness and moderate bitterness. It is indeed a dark roast but not overly bitter, offering a rich bean aroma and sweetness that is soothing. The combination of the melting Basque cheesecake and the dark roast coffee is pure bliss. While there are other renowned places in the area that serve Basque cheesecake, such as La Patisserie KATSURA in Temma-bashi and the Spanish bar TXAGORVA Chagoruba, Copito, this cafe's Basque cheesecake is also exceptional. The mouthfeel and flavor are reminiscent of the authentic Basque cheesecake, and the harmonious pairing with the sweet and tangy berry sauce is a unique charm of this place. The delicious coffee, the calm and friendly service of the owner, and the cozy atmosphere make it a delightful dining experience.

In the middle of Osaka Fukushima's Seiten shopping street, you walk while crossing the signal a few times along the main street. There isn't a standout landmark, as there are many shops lined up and it's easy to overlook. The small shop has 3 counter seats and 2 two-person seats, with a casually dressed older sister managing it. I ordered black tea and apple cake. The black tea is from Ashiya's Woof, and it was poured generously into a mug. Appreciated. The apple cake has apple compote on top of the sponge, not too sweet and refreshing. The background music is bossa nova, stylish. There is no foot traffic here, so the atmosphere is calm. Just quiet. It's a shop suitable for a relaxing time.

I visited this cafe based on a recommendation. I ordered the recommended cheesecake and it was incredibly moist and rich in flavor! The atmosphere of the cafe was very relaxing, with only one female staff member working, making it a comfortable place to spend time. I would love to go back again!

Dragon egg pudding 450☑ Lightly roasted blend 550 A cafe located in Seiten-dori shopping street *This is a picture from November 2022. Last time was a Basque cheesecake, but this time it's pudding made with nutritious dragon eggs, known for their rich egg yolks. This pudding is quite firm and has a restrained sweetness. They top it with whipped cream after you order. They also use Calpis butter on their toast, indicating a preference for higher quality ingredients. They offer a choice between dark roast and light roast coffee, as well as a variety of tea options. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Stove, a cafe I had been curious about for a while, during a weekday afternoon. The cozy atmosphere of the small cafe with about 10 seats is just my style! I love the warm orange light from the light bulbs. Although the sweet potato muffins I saw on Instagram were sold out, I ordered the Basque cheesecake and a tea latte. The cheesecake had a mild tanginess and a very smooth texture - it was delicious! I enjoyed it with a hot tea latte. The lunch menu also looked appetizing, and I still want to try the sweet potato muffins. I will definitely visit again soon!

JR Loop Line A cafe located about a 10-minute walk from Fukushima Station! The shop is small, so there may be a wait on holidays. I love the atmosphere♡ What I ordered this time: ▶ Mixed Juice 600 yen ▶ Cheesecake 500 yen ▶ Pudding 450 yen It was delicious✨✨ The mixed juice was a bit sweet, so maybe an iced cafe au lait would have been better with the cheesecake☺️☺️ I would love to visit again if I have the chance!

Visited shortly after opening on a Sunday. There were two groups of customers already there, who seemed to be students of a flower arrangement class. Since the seating was limited and three seats were occupied by the flower arrangement class, I was seated at a table in the back of the restaurant. I placed my order at the table and paid at the counter afterwards (cash only). I ordered two items that day: - Iced Tea / Ceylon (500 yen) - Dragon Egg Pudding (450 yen) The iced tea came with milk and syrup on the side, which was a nice touch. The pudding had a vibrant yellow color and a smooth and bouncy texture, which was delicious. I felt a bit hesitant to relax and enjoy my time there with the flower arrangement class going on, so I finished quickly and left. I would like to visit again another day to try their set menu, as it seemed interesting.

Before visiting my favorite Japanese restaurant, I stopped by a café that I had been curious about after visiting a gelato shop. The café is located on a famous street in the Fukushima area, known for its fortune-telling shops. It is a small and quiet café run by a woman. It was around 3:30 pm on a weekday, and the café was relatively empty, with a few solo customers coming in later. The atmosphere is such that it feels like a café you would want to casually drop by if it were in your neighborhood. We ordered drinks and the pudding and basque cheesecake we were looking forward to. The coffee only had one type, but the blend was to my liking with a good balance of acidity, bitterness, and richness. The pudding was a hit! It had a firm texture with a strong egg flavor, smooth like silken tofu, and the bittersweetness of caramel was excellent. The whipped cream was also high in milk fat. I love custard pudding, and this one was definitely one of my favorites. The basque cheesecake was incredibly smooth and creamy, with a high level of cheesiness that I like. The melt-in-your-mouth texture was amazing. The burnt surface also had a good flavor and provided a clear contrast. Both the coffee, pudding, and basque cheesecake were a great find, and I was very happy about it. If this café were in my local area, I would definitely be a regular customer. I look forward to finding another opportunity to visit. I have a few favorite puddings, cheesecakes, or basque cheesecakes in Osaka that have become fixed in my mind. This café has also made it to the list. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The café Stove, known for its delicious Basque cheesecake, surprised me with a unique dessert on their menu - Dragon Egg Pudding. I was initially planning on trying the Basque cheesecake, but couldn't resist the temptation of the Dragon Egg Pudding. The pudding was made from Dragon eggs, and it had a rich and intense flavor. Topped with whipped cream and a bright red cherry, the pudding had a cute and appealing presentation. The caramel was on the darker side, giving the pudding an adult taste. The cherry used was from Tohoku, adding a nice touch. Along with the pudding, I also enjoyed an iced coffee, which was delicious. The coffee was served in a cute glass from the KINTO "CAST Double Wall" series, which not only looked adorable but also had excellent cooling properties and was stackable. I was so impressed by the glass that I want to purchase one for my home use as well. Overall, a delightful dining experience at Stove.

It is located a 7-8 minute walk from Fukushima Station, along the shopping street. The exterior is simple and stylish, all white. It may seem slightly mismatched with the shopping street. They also offer a limited lunch menu. The interior has a wooden design with wooden tables and chairs. The operation is run by a woman alone, keeping things minimalistic. I ordered the "Stove Blend Coffee" for 550 yen and the "Dragon Egg Pudding" for 450 yen. Since it's a one-person operation, it may take some time. The coffee has a nice aroma as they grind the beans for each cup, but it's a bit acidic, possibly due to light roasting. The pudding has a dark orange color, made from the expensive "dragon eggs" which I found out later cost over 100 yen each. Despite the color, it has a light taste and a firm texture, similar to a crème caramel. The homemade caramel adds a touch of luxury. Overall, it's a great place to relax alone with a cup of coffee. Thank you for the meal.

I searched for a cafe near Fukushima Station where I could have afternoon tea, and discovered a cafe that also serves bento boxes, so I had lunch there. It was a good value for money, but the only downside was that it allowed smoking. Since I have visitors coming in the afternoon, I chose a non-smoking cafe and decided to stop by. Although it was already past lunchtime, the cafe was full. I thought we wouldn't be able to get in, but luckily someone was just finishing up their meal, so we were able to take their place. There was only one male customer, a couple, and the rest were all female customers. I hope us two middle-aged men won't make them uncomfortable. It took about 5 minutes for the water to be served, and I ordered an iced coffee. Each customer's drink was individually brewed, both hot and iced. It was a meticulous process, so it took some time, but it was understandable. The iced tea arrived 15 minutes later. It wasn't very dark in color, but when I took a sip, the aroma of the coffee reached the back of my nose. There was a hint of sweetness lingering at the end, so I didn't need any milk or sugar. It was a delicious coffee.

There is apple juice available in kids size, served in a glass. They offer straws, but I decided not to use it because my child might spill it while playing. They allow strollers, but the space is small so it might be difficult for two moms with strollers. There are no sofa seats, so I don't think it's suitable for mom gatherings. The cheesecake is delicious, and I want to try other baked goods as well.

The interior of the shop is cute yet stylish, with customers coming in one after another. The owner seemed to be very busy handling everything alone. Despite that, the service was attentive and I felt very comfortable. Surprisingly, there were more male customers than I expected. I visited the shop alone this time, but since the shop is small, I might feel a bit conscious about conversation if I were to go with someone else. The caramel bitterness of the dragon egg pudding and the gentle sweetness of the whipped cream were amazing. The pudding itself was slightly firm, giving a nostalgic feel. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I heard that you can eat delicious Basque cheesecake here, so I came to visit. The rumors were true - it was delicious. The rich taste of eggs and cheese in the creamy cheesecake made me want to have seconds. I didn't have seconds, but I did try the pudding. The pudding here also had a strong egg flavor, which paired well with the slightly bitter caramel. The pudding had a nice firmness with a good amount of elasticity. It was delicious!

Located about an 8-minute walk from Fukushima Station, this café is situated in the Stove shopping street. On this day, I ordered a Basque cheesecake and a pudding. The cheesecake had a firm surface and a moist interior, making it easy to eat. It was not too sweet, which paired well with the iced tea I had. The pudding had a rich caramel flavor and a strong taste of eggs, creating a well-balanced dessert. The café is very bright with large windows facing south. It has around 15 seats, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
