I went to Yoshinoya for the first time in a while. You can go there without getting wet even in the rain under the elevated tracks at Kasai Station. I was surprised that Yoshinoya's ordering system is now touch panel style. I ordered a large beef bowl, salad, and raw egg for 871 yen. It would have been more cost-effective to order the beef plate set with salad. You have to think carefully before ordering, right? (^◇^;)

It was delicious. I went to Yoshinoya and ordered using a touch panel. I had the large size. I tried it with extra sauce, and I realized that I really like extra sauce. For health reasons, I chose the salad and miso soup set for 830 yen, which was a good deal.

I visited around 6:00 PM on a regular day. There weren't many customers at first, but there was a constant stream of takeout and Uber Eats orders. I had a Family Pack with enough beef bowls for 3 people and a side dish set, along with a beer. I was really hungry since I hadn't eaten anything all day, but I'm on a low-carb day so I only ate the Family Pack. However, it was a lot for one person, and I got a bit tired of it. The extra-large beef bowl with raw egg and miso soup at a restaurant near Shinbashi was quite mild in flavor compared to the soy sauce spicy seasoning. The miso soup had a classic taste. However, I had a dilemma this time and really wanted to address an issue for improvement. It's about the seating arrangement. The place also serves as a spot for the barcode scanner, and every time the bill is paid, there's a loud "thud! thud!" as the scanner is placed. Do they have to do this in front of people eating? It's like the miso soup is being disturbed. Maybe the design of this restaurant is old? Lately, it seems like there are more places where you end up feeling uncomfortable. I usually refrain from posting about such places, but this time I felt like they might not be aware of it, so I decided to share my feedback.

Slow, slow lunch in Kasai. There are quite a few shops in the Metrogourmet shopping center at Kasai Station, which can meet various needs. I often used it when I wanted to grab a quick bite and get back to work. There are two entrances, one on the center side and one on the road side, making it convenient when you suddenly feel like having a beef bowl. You can order what you want to eat at the counter. - Beef bowl There are several chain stores that serve beef bowls, and this one seems to be the classic choice. For me, the quality of the meat, the sauce, and the rice are consistent and satisfying. There are toppings like kimchi and cheese, but I prefer the normal bowl. When eating, I often ordered pickles and miso soup, keeping it simple. - Pork bowl The pork bowl is lighter than the beef bowl, which I like. The taste of the pork is also good. - Beef yakiniku set sizzling hot on the hot plate. The flavor is rich and the meat is tender and delicious. When I go to a beef bowl restaurant, I tend to eat quickly, so I may miss out on the finer details of the taste, but being able to eat quickly and enjoy the meal is a good thing. I apologize for being a bit silly, but I wrote in my past logs "ma-su-yo" for beef bowl chain restaurants. I completed the challenge at Yoshinoya, the "yo" part, in a silly victory scene. The "ma" and "su" parts are left to your imagination. The interior of the restaurant consists of a counter in the shape of the letter "字". The service was good. Due to the current situation, there were many takeout orders, but the staff efficiently handed them out quickly.

Located near Katsushika Station, this Yoshinoya at Metro Center is a clean and popular spot. The interior is nice, and on a busy afternoon, the counter seats were mostly full. Surprisingly, they have charging stations at the counter seats. There was a constant flow of takeout customers as well. I ordered a regular beef bowl with a half-cooked egg, which arrived in just a few minutes. It was delicious as always. And all of this for just 469 yen. What a great deal. Thank you for the meal.

At Kasai Station, the Yoshinoya has transformed into Black Yoshinoya. What's different now is that they have added fried foods like karaage and aji fry to the menu. I arrived at Kasai Station on the last train and visited, finding out that the fried food menu is available until 11 pm, so I settled for the beef kalbi and beef plate set meal. Next time, I will challenge the fried food menu.

I felt like eating a beef and salmon set meal for the first time in a while, so I stopped by. Eating it after a long time made it taste delicious as usual. There were many new menu items that I didn't know about before, and even the way to order a beef bowl had options like extra large size, so it felt fresh and exciting. Maybe I'll go back again soon. The thickness of the onions caught my attention. The sauce was a bit heavy. Is this really a chicken bowl? It lacks the sukiyaki essence. Is everything okay, Yoshinoya?

No, I did it again! To finish off, I thought ginger pork would be refreshing. I can't resist eating during this time of year! It's the end of the year after all! On a regular day at 11:40 PM, I was feeling hungry after work. I decided to visit Yoshinoya. Even though it was late, the place was almost full. I ordered a regular-sized beef bowl (380 yen) and enjoyed it. In May 2016, after returning from a business trip abroad, I was a bit hungry and craving something Japanese. The first thing that came to my mind was Yoshinoya's beef bowl. While fancy dishes made with high-quality ingredients are nice, the combination of fast, cheap, and delicious is truly great. I appreciate how often I rely on Yoshinoya. This time, I got a takeout beef bowl. The way the sauce soaked into the meat, the amount of fat in the meat, and the hot rice soaked in the sauce - with each bite, I felt like I was truly back in Japan.

Founder Eikichi Matsuda established Yoshinoya in 1899 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo (now Chuo-ku, Tokyo). Since then, Yoshinoya has spread throughout Japan, overcoming many difficulties to now even expand globally with Japan's food culture of "gyudon" (beef bowl). Today, I had breakfast at Yoshinoya and in my personal opinion, it has the best taste among all gyudon chain restaurants. The secret taste of Yoshinoya cannot be replicated. When eating gyudon, it has to be Yoshinoya. PS: There is a story that the founder of Matsuya became a regular at Yoshinoya because he was impressed by the taste.

I went to Yoshinoya under the elevated structure at Katsushika Station to have a beef bowl late at night and received a NEW breakfast service voucher, so I decided to try it. First, I tried the Tofu Bukkake Rice for 290 yen, which is white rice topped with tofu, tempura scraps, green onions, and dashi broth. It also came with a side of rolled omelette. It's not bad for breakfast, but it seems like something that could easily be made at home. I would rate it around 2.8 out of 5. The next day, I tried the Chicken Soboro Rice for 290 yen, which is just white rice topped with canned chicken soboro. It's not a product that I would pay money for, but since I love Yoshinoya's beef bowl, I will include that in my overall rating.

At the Metro Center in Kasai Station, there is a Yoshinoya. Today, for some reason, I bought a takeout gyudon and enjoyed it at home. It's the first time I've taken gyudon to go. I bought the large size (460 yen). When I eat gyudon, I always pour raw egg over it. This has not changed since my 20s. In fact, I have never eaten it without pouring raw egg. I poured the raw egg over it and took a bite. It's delicious! Yoshinoya is really different. It always maintains this taste. Other gyudon places are not good. Yoshinoya is the best after all. I don't eat it often, but Yoshinoya is still great. I love Yoshinoya.

At the "Yoshinoya" located in the Katsushika Metro Gourmet Shopping Center under the elevated Katsushi Station, I tried the summer limited-time menu as it was coming to an end. I ordered the "Unagi Donburi (Eel Bowl) Regular 730 yen + Oshinko (Pickles) 100 yen (tax included)". The eel in the donburi was thick and the portion was sufficient for the price, but it was too soft with no chewiness, and the sauce was too strong with a lack of eel flavor. It seemed like the eel had soaked too much in the sauce due to the limited-time menu coming to an end and the passage of time since it was made. Compared to the eel bowl I had at "Sukiya" for 740 yen (excluding tax) this summer, the one from Yoshinoya was clearly inferior. I received a 50 yen discount coupon at the time of payment and I am grateful for the service. Thank you for the meal.
