Do you know that there is a fully membership-based yakiniku restaurant in Fukushima? The exterior is impressive and luxurious, with a special feeling when entering the restaurant as there is a verification process at the intercom. I had the privilege of visiting on their 4th anniversary! It was an honor to attend the anniversary event. As soon as I entered, the proprietress welcomed me warmly, treating me like family. I chose the "Musubi Course" priced at 6,600 yen, which does not include alcohol to allow guests to enjoy the delicious meat and rice without distractions. The restaurant offers free refills of tea and rice at a very reasonable price, making it accessible for members. Since it was the anniversary, the rice served was Matsutake and beef shigure rice, which was incredibly delicious. The meat selection included various cuts like skirt steak, tongue, and ribeye, with unique sauces to accompany them. My favorite was the tongue and lamb loin. Overall, the meal was delightful, and I highly recommend this place.

Even though there was no alcohol, I was impressed by the rice haha The meat was delicious as expected! I love the green onion salted kelp. Maybe it's because of my age, but I started to feel heavy towards the end, and the cold noodles were the best. The dessert monaka was incredibly delicious! I'm so full now ♡ Thank you for the meal ♡ I was surprised to see many Korean people. The hospitality of the staff was wonderful ♡

I highly recommend this place when you want to seriously enjoy meat and white rice. The white rice cooked perfectly in the pot is firm and you can eat as many bowls as you want. The meat varies depending on the course, but all of them are tender and delicious. You can choose between ochazuke or sudachi cold noodles for the final course. I was full and satisfied.

The presentation was great for photos and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. However, there were insects flying near the moss and the smoke was heavy, especially when the restaurant was full, making it hazy overall. One of the main selling points may be that celebrities have visited. The salt koji marinated hormone was delicious!! But for an 8000 yen course, considering the quality of the meat, there are other places where you can find cheaper and tastier yakiniku, so I probably won't go back a second time. The meat itself was a bit tough and had a miso flavor to it.

I was taken to this membership-based restaurant by an acquaintance, and to put it simply, it changes the concept of yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). The quality of the meat is so exceptional that it almost feels presumptuous to give my impression. The focus here is purely on enjoying the taste of the meat, and they generally do not serve alcohol. Everything was delicious, but what truly impressed me was the cut called "Koune". There is a sense of awe that you can only experience by tasting it. If your acquaintance has a membership card, I would recommend asking them to take you there at any cost. It will change your life once you try it. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I thought about having yakiniku without alcohol, but the meat was delicious and I was very satisfied with the freshly cooked rice! I was a little hesitant about eating it with miso instead of sauce! I think it's a matter of personal preference! I wish there were more options for hormone menu!

And guess what, this time they had alcohol on the menu!! Apparently, they offer alcohol on limited days throughout the year. It was a pleasant surprise. I forgot the details of the course, but we also got some yukke on the side. I always thought their rice, kimchi, and scallion salted kelp were delicious, but the meat was also very tasty. Especially the hormone marinated in sake lees was exquisite. They had three types of miso-based sauces. Personally, I prefer to enjoy it simply with scallion salted kelp or just salt. I will definitely visit again if I get the chance. Thank you for the meal.

It has been 4 years since it opened and became a hot topic. Finally, I was able to visit. Although it is open to the general public, it is primarily a membership-based restaurant. It's wonderful to see a yakiniku restaurant that is particular about rice. I chose the weekend-only special "En Course" where they cook rice near the entrance. The steam and the aroma of freshly cooked rice stimulate the appetite. The Koshihikari rice from Mie and the glossy rice from Fukui are sweet and irresistible. The homemade kimchi is slightly spicy and goes well with the rice. The salad with dried pumpkin has a great texture. The charcoal fire and the shichirin create a great atmosphere. The yakiniku platter is incredibly luxurious and gets you excited. The "Kouni" is also known as brisket, a part that becomes tough if overcooked, allowing you to savor the meat as you chew. The "Hanesita Abara" is a part around the ribs with a balanced marbling that lets you enjoy the sweetness of the fat. The small intestine is marinated in sake lees, which makes it flammable due to the high fat content, so be careful of splattering fat. Although you can't taste the sake lees, it eliminates the odor of the offal, which is good. The "Torotantan" is a part near the buttocks with a good amount of fat and is served with salted kelp and green onions, which are incredibly delicious. Although it is meant for the tongue, I ended up putting it on other meats and enjoying it. The traditional miso is used to eat the other meats. The "Ichibo" is a cut from the rump with a lot of marbling, making it soft and loved by many due to the good balance of lean and fatty meat. The grilled vegetables, including snap peas, are cute with their open lids. Other grilled vegetables include pumpkin, eringi mushrooms, purple sweet potatoes, and eggplants. The dessert is a mix of "wa" (Japanese) flavors with vanilla ice cream, sakura mochi, sweet red bean paste, and condensed milk. Additionally, outside of the course, there is the "Wappa Bento," where for every adult, one child under 3 to elementary school age eats for free. The beef rice was delicious and had a good portion size. Also, there is the membership-exclusive "Yukke," which is not raw meat but low-temperature cooked meat. It is served with Ranou and mashed potatoes, wrapped in Korean seaweed, and comes with complimentary oolong tea on the table, which was greatly appreciated. It was a restaurant that showed consideration for families and children, being kind to the common people.

A clean restaurant that only serves meat and rice. They don't have alcohol, so there are no drunk customers and the atmosphere is comfortable. The friendly hostess guides you through unlimited delicious meat, amazing kimchi, and rice that makes you grateful to be Japanese. I always end up eating too much, but I have to visit twice because I couldn't pace myself the first time. I ate too much rice right from the start and couldn't finish. So, I will go again.

It's a members-only shop, but you can make a reservation if there's availability. The friendly mama welcomed us, and the Yukhoe (raw beef) in the photo was surprisingly delicious, melting in the mouth. I was so amazed that I almost forgot to give my feedback. I was so focused on pointing at the meat that I didn't even need alcohol as a side dish. It's a good deal to become a member. The rice cooked in a clay pot is served, and I feel like I could get full on rice before the meat, which is dangerous. Everything was delicious. Will definitely come back.

However, even non-members can make reservations, so I finally visited for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. We grilled the meat on a shichirin charcoal grill and enjoyed it with delicious condiments and sauces. A pot of freshly cooked rice was also served at the table. At first, I thought I couldn't eat much, but once I started eating the meat, I ended up having multiple servings. The restaurant does not serve alcohol, so you can enjoy your meal in peace. The quality of the meat was also outstanding in this stylish yakiniku course ☺️ I tried both the 6000 yen course and the 10000 yen course (on separate days), and I think women can be satisfied with the 6000 yen course alone! I have been interested in a restaurant in Osaka's Fukushima ward called "Sandaime Wakihiko Saketen Honten" since it opened. It is a new style of yakiniku restaurant that only offers rice and meat, with the aim of letting people experience the true taste of yakiniku. The menu consists of only two courses, and the rice, cooked in a pot, is served in a traditional wooden rice container with free refills. The restaurant is located near Fukushima Station on the Hanshin Line, and even closer to Shin-Fukushima Station on the JR Tozai Line. It is a members-only establishment, but my friend made a reservation for us this time, and I was thrilled because I really wanted to visit this restaurant. Apparently, there are also slots available for non-members. This time, we reserved the "Hospitality Course" for 8,800 yen, which included homemade kimchi, vegetable salad, black wagyu beef yukhoe-style, and unlimited servings of rice. The rice, a blend of Koshihikari varieties, is served in a shiny wooden rice container and is incredibly delicious. The meat assortment came in a lovely wooden box, featuring specialties like kasuzuke intestines, kasuzuke pork belly, premium torotan, and wagyu Harami. The three types of miso-based sauces - black, white, and red miso - paired perfectly with the meat and rice, making it hard to stop eating. The tongue with green onion salted kelp was recommended by the proprietress and it was indeed a perfect match with the rice. Grilled over charcoal, everything tasted even better. The meal also included grilled items like tare-yaki, mizuki, top loin, and skirt steak, as well as grilled vegetables and a special ichibo (ribeye). The special ichibo was quickly grilled, then cut and served with egg yolk - it was delicious! The meal ended with a choice of warm soba noodles with beef shigure sauce or ochazuke, and for dessert, we had sakuramochi ice cream. We also received onigiri as a souvenir, which turned out to be incredibly delicious with the tangy green onion salted kelp from the tongue dish. It was a delightful experience, and I went home feeling happy and satisfied!

The restaurant is called Sandaime Waki Hiko Shoten Main Store, located near JR Tozai Line Fukushima Station. It operates on a membership system, but there are non-member slots available for reservation. The menu offers 6 course options ranging from 6,600 yen to 11,000 yen, providing a wide variety of choices. This time, I reserved the "Hospitality" course for 8,800 yen. The meal included: - Homemade kimchi - Vegetable salad - Black Wagyu beef tartare-style - Kama-cooked Koshihikari rice (unlimited refills) The kimchi was plentiful and deeply flavored, the salad was fresh, and the beef tartare-style dish was delicious. The rice, a blend of Koshihikari varieties from Fukui Prefecture and Mie Prefecture, was exceptionally tasty. The main meat dishes included specialty items like Kashiwa-zuke intestines, Kashiwa-zuke pork belly, Wagyu harami (skirt steak), and premium Toro Tan (tongue and cheek meat). It was a nostalgic experience for me, as I used to enjoy meat and rice in a similar way in the past.
