At a sushi restaurant with a counter-style ordering system, you can order different cuts of meat listed on cards on the wall. There are descriptions for nearly 50 cuts of meat, but you can only order the ones listed on the cards. Each piece of meat is quite thick, so even ordering about 8 types should be satisfying. This time, I ordered 14 types and ended up very full! 😄

I visited this place for the first time. The prices are written for each piece of meat, which may seem cheap at first glance, but the pricing can be a bit confusing. I started off by entering, but the staff seemed to be new as they were slow in taking orders and explaining things, which was a bit stressful. The meat is served cut and as is. As for seasoning, there are three types of natural salt, two types of sauces, and lemon juice provided at the table. However, the meat itself lacks flavor as it is not marinated. The meat has a nice marbling, but lacks depth in flavor. Particularly, the lean meat had an unnecessary acidity. The higher-priced cuts like sirloin were decent. If I happen to visit Koenji again, I might consider going back. It could be a good spot for those looking for a meal like a "yakiniku set" with extra rice, or for those who want to have a few drinks with some meat before moving on to the next place. If you're curious, give it a try!

The small shop in Koenji where you can choose your favorite meat was lively with friendly staff welcoming you at the counter! Even though some popular meats were sold out, I enjoyed the tongue and tripe which were delicious. The lemon sour was made with pure lemon juice and was very tasty. I also had a raw egg to enjoy the meat in a sukiyaki style, making it a night of overeating.

Koenji Niku Gassen is a yakiniku restaurant located near Koenji North Exit. It has only counter seats, making it suitable for individuals or couples. This restaurant offers a variety of 90 different cuts of meat, including some unique and unfamiliar ones. You can enjoy hormone dishes starting from just 10 yen. The quality of the meat is surprisingly good for the price, and I find myself visiting about once a month. I will continue to be a regular customer in the future.

I was taken to this restaurant by a gourmet friend. The quality of the meat is good and the prices are reasonable. They offer a wide variety of cuts including lean meat, marbled meat, and rare cuts, and you can order just one piece. Since there are only counter seats, I don't recommend going alone.

I visited "Koenji Niku Gassen" at the north exit of Koenji Station for the first time. It is a solo yakiniku restaurant with only a counter, specializing in grilled meat. The glass case in front of the grill is filled with various types of meat, similar to a sushi restaurant. I started with an Ice Lemon Sour and a simmered dish. The Ice Lemon Sour was refreshing and easy to drink, with a nice balance of acidity and sweetness. I ordered a platter of 10 types of meat, including grilled Kujyo leeks, A5 rank Wagyu beef, and various cuts of beef and pork. Each piece of meat was delicious. The only disappointment was that the Chateaubriand, liver, and sirloin I had planned to order were sold out. It was a bit questionable that they were out of stock from the 6:00 PM opening. However, the quality of the meat and the attentive service made the experience enjoyable. If you want to enjoy solo yakiniku, this is a place worth trying.

Basically, it's a yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy with one roaster per person, making it easy for solo diners to casually drop by. They offer consistently delicious A5 wagyu beef. We start with the "Horumon Choi Nomiset" and draft beer at our house, then move on to tongue, lean meat, and kalbi. Personally, I recommend the "Sirloin Sukiyaki-style." You can't share this dish with others, but it's a fantastic menu item where you can enjoy a large piece of sirloin all by yourself. All the lean meats are fresh, but the "Hire" in particular is outstanding.

I watched Onikoshi Tomahawk's YouTube and then met him on the train on the way to the restaurant (lol). The smoke is intense and the tables are close, so it's hot, but it's nice that you can choose your favorite cuts. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good. I will go again.

I can't believe this shop, which offers great value for money, only has a 3-star rating! Is today's Tabelog okay? It's a popular place where you can enjoy high-quality meat at a reasonable price. The staff are all friendly. Every meat dish is delicious, but I highly recommend trying the specialty liver. Please give it a try! *Usage Scene* The interior is clean and beautiful, but it's a casual place with only a counter, so it's better suited for close friends or solo diners.

In the Yakiniku Warring States period of Koenji, there is a counter-style restaurant where you can grill meat by yourself. You can choose from a la carte options or various set menus ranging from a little bit of meat to a lot of meat. It's great that you can choose based on how hungry you are that day. It's really appreciated that you can eat this level of meat at a reasonable price according to how much you want to eat.

This restaurant is usually visited alone. Sometimes when I go with a friend, that friend ends up going alone next time, haha. As you can tell from this, it's a casual yakiniku restaurant where you can easily dine alone, yet the atmosphere is excellent. The interior is counter-style, with a friendly manager and calm staff. The meat itself is really beautiful. Prices range from 10 yen to 20 yen per slice, with my maximum eating price being around 400 yen per slice. All the meat looks beautiful. I like the Chire cut, which is like a liver without any strong flavor, and I recommend it. You can eat as much of your favorite cuts like Tongue, Tomosankaku, and Mino as you want. I love the rare menu item called Senbonsuji, but I've only encountered it once and haven't seen it since. Even when I'm feeling down about work, I can have a drink for around 2000 yen, choose some sparkling meat to eat, and go home feeling great. This makes my day perfect.

Today, I visited this restaurant which was on my list. I couldn't come here before because it's quite expensive. Well, when you think about it, isn't 250 yen or 300 yen for a piece of meat expensive? But I thought I should come at least once. Even though I've been to more expensive yakiniku restaurants, I get nervous when it comes to calculating per piece. There seems to be a lot of rare cuts here. I love horumon (offal), but I was disappointed that they were sold out of liver. Seriously? But the maruchou was delicious! The best cuts this time were harami, sasami, maruchou, lamp, and I forgot the other one. Oh, the kimchi soup was also delicious! The price was not as high as I thought, it was similar to a regular yakiniku place. Actually, for A5 rank wagyu, it's quite affordable. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

It's clear that this is a newcomer in the solo yakiniku scene, but perhaps that's why it has some good points! I visited for the first time and found the atmosphere to be average, but what really stands out at this place is the service from the staff! However, there were not enough condiments and sauces for the variety of meats, so I got a bit tired of the flavors towards the end. The lean cuts were tasty though! And the lemon sour was quite nice too.

A new yakiniku restaurant has opened in Koenji! Since it just opened in April 2019, the place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. You can order 1-2 pieces of meat (usually 1 piece) for prices ranging from 10 yen to 500 yen (lean meat is around 300 yen). The menu includes 21 cuts of marbled meat and 37 cuts of lean meat, all of which I've never heard of before.

Just the other day, a "solo yakiniku" restaurant opened in Koenji where you can order one piece of your favorite cut at a time. They have a wide variety of cuts thanks to their commitment to sourcing, buying a whole Japanese cow. I've been to many famous yakiniku restaurants, but there were still many cuts I had never heard of. They have a great selection of rare cuts, and the taste is outstanding. My favorites were the inside skirt, tenkaichi, tripe, and tongue. The cuts available may change depending on their sourcing, so I promised to try the Chateaubriand next time. I can't wait! Also, the drinks are really stylish (see photo). The restaurant has great cost performance, a convenient location (30 seconds from the station), and is open until late at night. There's no reason not to go! By the way, we had a wonderful time with my colleagues after an internal meeting this time. ✨

It was my third visit of the day, and I was able to order a rare cut of meat in just one piece, with each dish being perfectly cooked at this restaurant.

I don't know any other yakiniku restaurants in Koenji that offer such good value for money and delicious food haha. Each dish is very cheap and they only have counter seats, but you can easily drop by alone after work. The staff are also friendly, so I recommend it. ☺️

I was able to place orders quickly, and the staff were friendly. Everything was good, so even though I only planned to have one drink and leave, I ended up having one more. It's easy to visit alone, but I would recommend it to others because it's so nice.

The best cost performance. Perfect for enjoying yakiniku alone. It's close to Koenji Station and the turnover is fast. It may feel a bit cramped as it has counter seats, but it's a yakiniku restaurant that you'll want to drop by casually.
