This place offers a new gourmet experience called "Sukiniku." Sukiniku is a new type of hot pot originating from Kagoshima, Japan. It uses a special iron plate with a hollow center, where a special broth is poured in. Around the broth, slices of beef and vegetables are arranged, and you eat by dipping them in the broth as they cook. As you eat, the flavors of the meat and vegetables blend into the broth, making it more delicious with each bite. It's also a healthy option, so even women on a diet can enjoy it guilt-free! The dish originated from a restaurant called "Gyuchan" in Kagoshima, and this restaurant, "Wagyu Maru," is the only place in Tokyo that still serves Sukiniku after Gyuchan left the city a few years ago. I visited the Kagurazaka branch and enjoyed a light meal before the Sukiniku. The menu is diverse and delicious, with a wide variety of dishes and a great selection of drinks, making it a good spot for a second round of drinks. Personally, I liked the "Wagyu tendon ponzu" and the "Special negi-tama" dishes! As for the main Sukiniku dish, I tried the premium option with shoulder loin meat. The type of meat used may vary depending on availability. The flavor is quite rich, making it a great companion for drinks! However, since it also includes vegetables, you can enjoy a healthy meal until the end. The desserts were also very tempting! - Mozzarella cheese risotto - Wagyu tendon black curry rice porridge - Wagyu tendon black curry udon I was already full from the Sukiniku, so I couldn't try the desserts this time, but I would love to try the cheese risotto next time. The interior of the restaurant is also clean and inviting, so I would definitely visit again! I'm also curious about the Ebisu branch. They also have a menu called "Sukisuki," which uses a sukiyaki-style broth and involves dipping the food in egg while eating, giving it a slightly different twist. I'm intrigued by that too!

It was delicious! The photos didn't turn out well because it was dark, but I had beef skewers (various cuts), beef tongue, hamburger, and a rice dish with raw meat on top. The service was a bit slow, maybe because there was only one server inside and one outside. I only tried the menu items mentioned above on this day, but they also had other options like sukiyaki and motsunabe. I liked the atmosphere! Sitting at the counter was relaxing. Thank you for the meal!

There are several meat restaurants in Kagurazaka, but none of them stand out as particularly famous. So, let's discover some lesser-known restaurants with few reviews and low ratings! This particular restaurant mainly serves cooked meat dishes, but we ended up having shabu-shabu because of the preferences of the people I was with. When we entered at 8 pm on a weekday, the restaurant was empty... even though it's in such a prime location! We enjoyed leisurely having shabu-shabu and the meat was delicious. The only downsides were that there weren't many vegetables and the meat at the back was a bit tough. I'd like to try their cooked meat dishes next time!

A restaurant where you can eat A5 rank meat. Visited at night. The interior of the restaurant was empty and very cozy. The first photo is sukiyaki and the second one is a dish called nikomi (simmered meat). Be careful, the sukiyaki was cooked too much, personally I think it would be better to add water at the beginning for a milder taste. The nikomi was a dish that was between grilling and simmering. Both meats were tender and incredibly delicious! It's a bit pricey, so I recommend visiting for a special occasion like an anniversary.

I arrived at the restaurant with a somewhat full stomach and had already had some drinks. I asked for wine, but had trouble deciding between heavy or light, which made me a little uneasy. The meat sushi was delicious, but the menu seemed to have fewer options for those who want to eat more meat. It would be suitable for those who want a hearty meat dish.

The meat quality was good, so the fat didn't feel heavy. The broth had soaked in well, and the meat was very tender and delicious. The rice was also delicious! Other dishes like vegetable teppanyaki and homemade tuna were also very tasty! The staff's service was very polite!

■Order: Special Sukiyaki-style Lunch Set (1480 yen) "Sukisuki" is an original dish, described as a Sukiyaki-style version of cooked meat. It's like a mix of hot pot and teppanyaki. The meat and vegetables are placed on a sunken iron plate in the center, where you cook them yourself before dipping them in raw egg. The vegetables included lotus root, potatoes, and pumpkin, and the flavor is reminiscent of Sukiyaki - rich and savory. The salad consisted of vegetables topped with kimchi seasoned with sesame oil, which was delicious. ■Random Note: This restaurant originated in Kagoshima and specializes in cooked meat dishes. This time, I ordered the "sukisuki" instead of the regular cooked meat.

Rating: 3.4 [Casual Dining: Yes, Couple/Spouse Lunch: Yes] On a holiday afternoon, we visited the restaurant "Wagyu Maru" that we had been curious about after seeing it on TV. We made a reservation and arrived at around 12 o'clock. The table seats were fully occupied, and the counter seats were also quite busy. There were three of us on this day, and we ordered the popular Sukiyaki lunch set for two and black curry. (We also ordered drinks, so the total amount was on the higher side.) The Sukiyaki is described as "a new sensation Japanese cuisine where ingredients are arranged in a circle along the pot, dropped into the hollow at your own timing, and 'cooked' to eat" (from the restaurant's website). The staff explained it to us, so we dropped each piece into the hollow, cooked it, and dipped it in egg like Sukiyaki. The taste was gentle, like a Sukiyaki with a light seasoning. The premium lunch set comes with 100g of meat, plenty of vegetables, and it felt good without being too heavy. The meat is cut quite thinly, probably to cook easily, so it may suit those who prefer to eat meat with vegetables rather than just focusing on the meat. As for the black curry, the roux was delicious from the bite I had. I did not try the meat in the middle. We ordered the premium lunch set on this day, but if you're okay with less meat, the cheaper set may be more suitable. (Personally, I could do without the salad and dessert that come with the premium lunch set.) Also, on this day, the pace of serving the dishes was slow. We were not in a hurry, so it didn't bother us, but please be aware if you are in a rush. Personally, I prefer Sukiyaki with a stronger flavor, but if you're in the mood for a gentle and flavorful lunch, the Sukiyaki may be suitable. Thank you for the meal! I visited the restaurant after seeing the signboard for "Seared Sirloin Beef Rice" and ordered it as planned. The dish consisted of rice rolled like onigiri, topped with two pieces of seared sukiyaki beef, egg yolk, and green onions. The sukiyaki beef itself was not very flavorful, but they provided a black sugar soy sauce that was delicious. The meat was tender and tasted high-quality, but I wished there was a bit more volume for the price. However, the rice was quite hard, which was disappointing. The green onions had dried out and lost their freshness, which was also disappointing. Despite the delicious meat, the overall experience left something to be desired.

Here you can enjoy the local specialty dish of Kagoshima called "sukiniku". This dish originated from the long-established Kagoshima restaurant "Ushichan"! ✔︎ Odashitomato (¥530) ✔︎ Special Nira Tamago (¥520) ✔︎ Master Wagyu Seared Sushi (¥380×2) ✔︎ Colorful Vegetable Teppanyaki (¥980) ✔︎ Meat Sushi Umi (¥710×2) ✔︎ Meat Sushi Nikura (¥710×2) ✔︎ Sukiniku Assorted 3 items (¥2,720) ✔︎ Today's Pudding (¥460) Sukiniku is a special dish cooked on a slightly concave iron plate with a special sweet and savory sauce, topped with meat and vegetables. You cook the meat and vegetables while breaking them apart little by little. It's a new sensation! Plus, it's healthy with plenty of vegetables, making it great for women as well ✨ The appetizers were all creatively prepared and delicious (^^) Especially the Nira Tamago, with a sunny-side-up egg on top, looked amazing! It also had spicy chili oil on top, making it irresistible! I'm not a big fan of chives, but this was delicious! I discovered that I can enjoy chives when eaten this way! ✨ I didn't try the desserts this time, but they all looked tempting... I want to try them next time! The restaurant was clean yet cozy, making it a comfortable place to dine! It seems suitable for casual dates, gatherings, and various occasions!

I was wandering around Kagurazaka trying to decide where to have lunch today, and I was drawn to the outdoor sign advertising "Seared Sirloin Black Curry Rice" at "Maru" for my first visit there. This chain restaurant is known for its specialty dish called "cooked meat" made with famous Wagyu beef. The Kagurazaka branch opened in December 2020, and I was surprised that I hadn't noticed it despite being in Kagurazaka almost every day for the past six months. They also offer raw meat dishes, such as meat sushi and "Uni-kun & Nikura," which is sea urchin and salmon roe on meat sushi rolls (one piece for 710 yen, but 400 yen during lunchtime), which seemed to be popular menu items. But I'm a curry lover, so I stuck to my plan and ordered the Seared Sirloin Black Curry Rice. As you can see in the photo, it looked undeniably delicious, and it tasted great too. If I had to nitpick, I would have liked the meat to be a bit thicker and more seared...but then again, that would go against the concept of enjoying raw meat with curry, and the portion size was small, so it was easy to finish. This dish came with soup for 1180 yen. Next time, I'd like to try the cooked meat made with the famous Wagyu beef! Thank you for the meal!

[Kamakura Butcher Maru Kagurazaka Branch] Located in Kagurazaka (Tabelog rating: 3.18) A shop where you can enjoy A5-ranked simmered meat!!! Simmered meat is a specialty dish from Kagoshima Prefecture, cooked in a concave iron pot where vegetables and meat are simmered in a special broth, allowing the flavors to blend even more. ★I tried simmered meat for the first time and the broth was delicious, blending well with the meat and vegetables. The cheese risotto made with simmered meat broth was excellent as a finishing touch. Additionally, each dish like the salad was delicious, and the drinks were also great!! ★Menu options include early bird course meals, the exquisite "Premium Simmered Meat Course," and not just simmered meat but also a higher level "Simmered Sukiyaki." They offer a wide range of dishes such as seared sirloin rice, uni (sea urchin) and meat, and premium wagyu beef for yakiniku. ★The atmosphere of the restaurant is great! The staff's service was also good, so be sure to visit when in Kagurazaka!!! Another great thing about this place is that they pay attention to not only the meat but also the vegetables and rice, sourcing them from a farm in Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture! ★Store Information★ [Nearest Station] Iidabashi Station (5-minute walk) [Address] 1F Kagurazaka K Building, 3-2 Kagurazaka, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo [Budget] Around 4,000 yen [Rating] Tabelog: 3.18, Google: 4.3 [Business Hours] [Shortened Hours] From August 2021: 11:30-20:00 (L.O 19:00) ☆Lunch service only from August 1st to August 31st. ☆Closed all day on August 13th, 14th, and 15th. 【Lunch】11:30-15:00 【Dinner】17:00-23:30 (Food L.O 22:30, Drink L.O 23:00) Alcohol is not served. I was walking in search of yakiniku when I stumbled upon this restaurant. However, instead of yakiniku, they served a delicious dish with a variety of vegetables and meat cooked together. I had it with sukiyaki sauce. The broccoli was particularly good. If I had more room in my stomach, I could have easily eaten two bowls of rice with the meat. It was relatively quiet as it was after the pandemic, which was nice. There were two other groups who had made reservations besides us.

Early bird special course♪ The visual impact is huge! Sizzling meat~~!!! Delicious wagyu beef on a large hot plate with a slight indentation in the middle to cook slowly. The salad, appetizers, and seared meat sushi were also delicious. The addition of sea urchin and wagyu beef battleship sushi was amazing!!! For the finale, we had porridge~~~ where you can savor the meat flavor until the end. After that, we ordered uni and ikura tea pickled rice as an extra. Sea urchin with salmon roe and meat is the best... The dessert was yuzu sherbet for a refreshing finish!

I walked around Kagurazaka and came across a unique restaurant called Wagyu Maru. They had a dish called "Sukiyaki-style hot pot" on their menu, so I decided to try it. The dish came with a side of pickled cabbage, which was a nice appetizer. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a date. The Sukiyaki-style hot pot was made by creating a dam with vegetables and meat in a hot plate-like pot, and cooking it in the center. It included high-quality lamp meat and a variety of vegetables. You could dip the cooked vegetables and meat in egg and enjoy the sweet soup that was left in the pot. It was more like a vegetable fondue than a traditional sukiyaki, with a variety of fresh vegetables adding different textures to the dish. I also tried dipping the egg in the sweet soup and it was delicious. The restaurant also offered other dishes like curry, and there were many solo diners enjoying their lunch there.

This shop is located on the main street of Kagurazaka, about a 3-minute walk from the station. I heard that they serve "cooked meat" and I was excited to see what kind of dishes they offer. I ordered: - Colorful vegetable teppanyaki (980 yen) - Special leek tamago (520 yen) - Master Wagyu nigiri sushi (one piece 380 yen) - Meat sushi with sea urchin (one piece 710 yen) - Meat sushi with kura (one piece 710 yen) - Cooked meat assortment of 3 special selections (2720 yen) - Mozzarella cheese risotto (1080 yen). As a fan of meat sushi, I couldn't resist ordering all the meat sushi options. The colorful vegetable teppanyaki I had first was delicious with big chunks of vegetables and perfectly seasoned. The special leek tamago, a specialty of the shop, was visually appealing! Breaking the egg yolk on top was a delight, and the spicy oil underneath combined with the leek was a great combination. The highlight of the day, the cooked meat, involved cooking the black wagyu beef on the side and eating it. It was not greasy and I could eat it endlessly - so delicious! For the finale, I ordered the risotto, which the staff prepared right in front of me. Even the pudding at the end was delicious. The staff was friendly and the cozy atmosphere made it a great dining experience. I will definitely be back!

I went for the boiled meat, but it took a very long time to come out! It took about 45 minutes. The dishes I had before that were delicious. Especially the sea urchin. The sea urchin sushi was probably the best I've ever had. The squid ink was also delicious. And the leek and egg was tasty too. Naturally, my expectations for the main boiled meat dish were high. But, it took forever to come out. The complexity that could cause delays didn't seem to be in the dishes. I ordered the special selection of three items and the top selection of three items. When the dishes arrived, there was only one type of meat, so I asked what the other two were. I was told they were underneath, but I could only find meat slices, not minced meat. This was terrible for a dish advertised as a selection of three. Finally, when the boiled meat arrived, I was told to wait 5 minutes before eating it, but I didn't know how to eat it as there was no sauce or plate provided. I finally received the sauce after 5 minutes had passed. It was a bit much. And the boiled meat had no volume. We ordered two portions for three people so we could try other dishes, but it was gone quickly. With a regular hot pot, you could order more at this point, but waiting another 45 minutes was too hard so we gave up. The boiled meat itself was delicious, but the cost performance is the worst. It's not enough for one person with one portion, so if you're only going to eat the boiled meat, it's better to order two portions per person. It will cost 5000 yen per person for a pot, so the cost performance is terrible. The female hall staff were working hard with a smile.

Today, I walked up Kagurazaka (^○^) and saw a sign for "Meijin Wagyu" at a place called Wagyu Maru. I entered the restaurant around 12:00. I think I might be the first customer? I sat at the counter and ordered the seared sirloin black curry rice... Oh? They don't have curry (°▽°). So, I went with the seared sirloin meat rice for ¥800! First, a salad arrived after waiting for about 12 minutes (⌒▽⌒). It was elegantly arranged with miso soup on the side. The meat was so tender, topped with egg yolk, and a drizzle of black sugar soy sauce... Even though it's seared, it's almost like raw meat (⌒▽⌒). No need for teeth (laughs). It was really delicious!

This time, I visited "Sukiniku Meijin Wagyu Maru Kagurazaka Store," located about a 2-minute walk from Iidabashi Station. The restaurant is actually between Kagurazaka and Iidabashi, but it's closer to Iidabashi Station. The interior has a counter and table seats, with warm lighting and lively, friendly staff. I visited at 5:00 PM, with no waiting time due to a reservation. I ordered: 1. Meijin Wagyu Sirloin Rolls - healthy cabbage rolls with sirloin. 2. Sukiniku Assortment - top-quality sirloin, harami, and misuji cuts. 3. Refreshing Beef Tongue - tender and flavorful. 4. Special Wagyu Selection - a mix of kalbi, momo, and sankaku bara cuts. 5. Special Leek and Egg - a recommended dish with assorted vegetables. 6. Meijin Wagyu Seared Sushi - seared sushi with a choice of salt or wasabi. 7. Daily Ice Cream - vanilla. 8. Daily Dessert - homemade tiramisu. The A5 grade "Meijin Wagyu" used in the "Sukiniku" dish is a new, healthy meat dish where Wagyu and local vegetables are cooked in a special sauce. The staff was friendly and entertaining, and the restaurant's atmosphere was great. The food was delicious, especially the healthy and flavorful Sukiniku dish. Overall, a highly recommended spot for a date night or special occasion. Thank you, "Sukiniku Meijin Wagyu Maru Kagurazaka Store"!

I made a reservation for lunch at 11:30 on a Sunday to use up my remaining GOTO campaign points. The restaurant, which opened in the winter of 2020, specializes in cooked meat. The interior is clean and beautiful. I ordered the special cooked suki lunch for 1480 yen, with an additional 400 yen to change the white rice to sirloin beef rice and 400 yen for sea urchin. The sea urchin and kakuteki arrived about 4 minutes after ordering. It was a simple dish of cold sushi rice wrapped in meat and topped with sea urchin, but both the sea urchin and meat were delicious. After about 5 minutes, the cooked suki arrived, and it was more than I expected. The sirloin beef rice also arrived, and both dishes looked delicious. I tried the sirloin beef rice first and it was tasty. The tender meat was delicious, especially when mixed with the egg and special sauce. Next, I tried the cooked suki, which was also delicious. It was described as sukiyaki-style cooked meat, but it was more like 95% sukiyaki. Everything was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

"Kama-niku Meijin Wagyu Maru" @wagyumaru @wagyumaru.kagurazaka Not yakiniku, not nabe‼️ What is "kama-niku"⁉️ I love this popular restaurant with its main store in Ebisu, so I'm thrilled that it has opened in Kagurazaka. The food is even more delicious than I imagined, and it has become one of my favorite places. ---------------Orders--------------- Special Negi-Tama (leek and egg) 520 yen Kimchi Assortment 800 yen Angel Shrimp Teppanyaki 650 yen Meijin Wagyu Salad Meat Rolls 850 yen Filet Meat Teppanyaki 2150 yen Kama-niku (boiled meat) Today's finest Wagyu 2980 yen Wagyu tendon black curry zosui (finishing dish) 650 yen ------------------------------------ Before the main dishes, let's have some a la carte!! Everything is so delicious and full of flavor. The Negi-Tama is not the usual one you see, it's more like a snack with a runny egg yolk adding richness. The angel shrimp is plump and the homemade tartar sauce is amazing! What impressed me the most was the Salad Meat Rolls. Not only is it visually appealing, but the lettuce is packed full and very satisfying to eat! Even those who don't like salads will love it. The Filet Meat is tender and the fat is delicious. Also, I encountered something new for the first time... you can drink "raw" sake (9th photo). Has anyone tried it before? It's like pouring beer from a tap, but with sake. You can taste it straight from the brewery, and the aroma is so good, like a champagne-like sake with a fresh sensation. And now, the long-awaited kama-niku! They use a brand of meat called "Meijin Wagyu" and slice the meat with a slicer, which is a unique feature. The top-notch meat of the day includes [Misuji/ Tomosankaku/ Zabuton], all of my favorite cuts. Unlike yakiniku, you cook it little by little on a special plate with vegetables, breaking it apart as it cooks, which is a distinctive feature. The presentation is powerful and the volume is there, but surprisingly, I finished it all easily. It was delicious, and although it looks like it has a lot of fat, it's not heavy at all and doesn't cause indigestion. I asked why, and they said it's because it has a high content of oleic acid, so it feels less fatty. The richness pairs well with vegetables, making it healthy yet satisfying, which is great. Of course, I had the finishing dish too! The Meijin Wagyu special black curry is the ultimate finishing dish. It's incredibly rich and goes well with red wine. I didn't know about kama-niku before, and many people still don't, so I really want everyone to go and try it! They offer great lunch options and also offer Meijin Wagyu for takeout, which is impressive. Also, I'm happy to have another favorite restaurant in Kagurazaka. There are so many more menu items and photos that I couldn't fit here, so check out my food blog for more details. ----------------------- ...Food blog search... 『にゃああも』.... ----------------------- by: @annnnyannnn2 YouTube: @harapeko_fufu #KamaNikuMeijinWagyuMaru #WagyuMaru #KagurazakaGourmet #IidabashiGourmet #UshigomeKagurazaka #EbisuGourmet #TokyoGourmet #Meat #Curry #Negi-Tama #LunchExploration #Takeout #InstagramGourmetAward2021 #SoloDining #Foodie #Sake #CraftGin #FoodBlog #MealRecord #FoodWalk #Foodstagram #JapaneseFood #Tokyo ===========
