When the inside of the restaurant cleared up, they invited me to move inside. I appreciated that. It took a bit of time for my order to arrive, but the quiche was piping hot and the coffee freshly brewed. I was very satisfied. They also mentioned that I could purchase some coffee beans to enjoy at home. I plan on enjoying my monkey time at home as well.

In the morning, I wanted to eat before 11 am and arrived at the restaurant. There were already 2 groups waiting, and it was very crowded because it was Saturday. The restaurant had seats on both the lower and upper levels, and they were all full. We had to wait outside in the scorching sun with very little shade. It was extremely hot, and we were sweating a lot. After about 15 minutes, a table finally became available, but the staff seemed too busy to clean it up. Even though there were 6 empty seats for our group of 4, they didn't clean up the table. We were sweating so much that we felt like we might faint. It took 30 minutes before we were finally seated inside. The efficiency was very poor. There were 3 staff members on the lower level, but none of them seemed to notice the situation. We were looking forward to our meal, but the initial experience was disappointing. We ordered an iced Americano and French toast. The Americano had a nice balance and was easy to drink without being too bitter. The French toast was fluffy and generously sized, and it was delicious. It had a sweet flavor, but it was not overwhelming, making it easy to eat. Overall, the food was great, but I hope the service can be improved in the future. Thank you for the meal!

A cute cafe with a monkey theme. You have to take off your shoes on the first floor, which helps you relax. As soon as you walk in, you can feel their dedication to coffee. I was torn between getting the cold brew iced coffee and the coffee banana shake, but because it was so hot today and the atmosphere in the cafe was so inviting, I decided on the coffee banana shake. It was delicious. The coffee flavor was strong, but it didn't overpower the banana. The shake wasn't overly sweet, so I could drink a lot of it. Thank you for the meal.

I have a strong preference for coffee and dislike acidity, so I chose a refreshing water drip or hand drip coffee that has a strong coffee flavor. The coffee had no acidity and a rich taste, which was delicious. I visited around 10:30, and luckily there was one seat available, but it seemed like other customers had been lining up since the morning. The morning menu is available from 8:00 to 11:30. I ordered a salad & toast (750 yen as of July 2023) and coffee, which cost me 1300 yen. I was able to pay with PayPay. Next time, I plan to try the French toast. The cafe is a little over a 5-minute walk from JR Namba Station. From JR Namba Station, go up to OCAT on the 1st floor, exit from the south side, walk southeast, and you will see Super Kohyo. Continue south past Kohyo and you will see Osaru Coffee on the left corner. It's a small cafe with one four-person table and three two-person tables. The two-person tables require you to take off your shoes, so it's not ideal for long stays, but it seems like a cozy place to relax. Since I was alone, I left the shop right after eating.

The coffee shop near the office is mainly for takeout, but on this day, I decided to dine in. I had the "Roast Ham and Crushed Egg Sandwich" for 850 yen and an "Iced Americano" for 550 yen. The sandwich had chunks of roast and ham with a generous amount of scrambled egg spilling out, making it a messy yet delicious meal. The bread from "Karabina Bread Stand" was light, fluffy, and slightly sweet, complementing the sandwich fillings well. As I was leaving, I noticed that they have opened a second floor as well. The interior of the cafe was smaller and quieter than I expected, so be careful because conversations might be overheard by the person next to you! I went cafe hopping in Osaka. I visited this shop just a few minutes' walk from JR Namba Station. It was bustling inside on a weekend just before lunchtime. Since the first-floor seats were full, I was guided to the second floor. The second floor has fewer seats and feels spacious with large windows providing an open atmosphere. I ordered: - Pudding 800 yen - Cafe Mocha 650 yen The firm pudding was smooth and had a simple deliciousness with a distinct egg flavor. The caramel and whipped cream were a good match, and I wished it was a bit bigger because I wanted more! The Cafe Mocha was a light latte with plenty of chocolate sauce. Cocoa powder on top added a sweet chocolate flavor when mixed. It was tasty without being overly sweet, even when paired with the pudding. I feel like I'm coming here too often in a short period of time. I want to explore different cafes, but my visits are too frequent. Today, I visited at 2:30 PM. The affogato here is my favorite so far. It has a strong milk flavor in the ice cream, which pairs perfectly with the espresso. I want to eat more of it. I was seated in the tatami room, and I was surprised to see various SNK games displayed on the shelf behind me, like KOF'99. I wonder how many people here actually know about KOF...? For reference, my favorite characters were Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui (I love the Fatal Fury team). I've always wanted to visit Osaru Coffee, and luckily, it was not crowded when I went. I chose the Kenya Pink Flamingo coffee, which was fruity as described in the menu. As it cooled down, I could taste the richness. The baked pudding was firm with a strong egg flavor, complemented well by the bitter caramel and rich sweet cream. It was a perfect match for the coffee. The size of the pudding was generous, which was a pleasant surprise. The Osaru-designed mug was cute, but I found the thick round rim a bit difficult to drink from without spilling. The atmosphere of the shop was nice, but I wish they had thinner cups. There were three two-seater tables in the sunken seating area where you take off your shoes, and one large table on the floor. Even though I had been curious about this place for 6 and a half years since it opened, I finally went and was impressed by the lovely decor and the attentive service of the owner. The seating is limited, but if you come at a different time, you should be able to get a seat, or you can also get your order to go.
