I casually went for a walk in Iidabashi to look for a Chinese restaurant, and I found a dumpling shop that caught my eye underground! It was a weekday night, we were seated right away, and we ordered kimchi, sweet and sour pork, and three types of dumplings! We planned to order more even though there were only two of us, but the dumplings were quite filling, and we ended up feeling full...haha The skin was chewy, and the filling was full of meat, so we were very satisfied! We couldn't try other things we were interested in, so we will definitely go back!

Around 7 pm on a regular day, I made a reservation and visited with two other people. I first visited this place last year and couldn't forget the thick gyoza here, so I came back after a year. I highly recommend the gyoza here. In particular, the shiso gyoza (4 pieces for 480 yen) has a shiso leaf inside each gyoza, and the filling is packed and delicious. The black pork gyoza (6 pieces for 480 yen) is a classic menu item that you must try. This time, what I really liked was the crispy gyoza (8 pieces for 480 yen), which is not wrapped like traditional gyoza. It is really crispy and well-filled, making it delicious and a great snack. The pickled vegetables here are not spicy but have a unique umami flavor, so if you're interested, be sure to try them. A glass of beer costs around 550 yen, and sour drinks are in the 400 yen range, I believe. By 8 pm, the restaurant was almost full. The portions of each dish are quite generous, so it might be more enjoyable to go with a larger group. There are several table seats, but no private rooms, so it's recommended for a lively drinking atmosphere.

I visited the restaurant at 11:40 on a regular day. There was one group of customers already there, and more people were coming in, showing that it's a popular place. I ordered the black pork dumpling set meal. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The dumplings were huge and very satisfying to eat. They were filled with a lot of vegetables and minced meat. I enjoyed them with vinegar soy sauce and pepper. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Visited this restaurant for a farewell party. It was a bit of a challenge to find the place from Iidabashi Station as there were many tempting restaurants along the way. The restaurant was quite busy, and it's no wonder since they offer a wide variety of gyoza dishes. We had a course menu, and I believe we were served about five plates of gyoza alone (I lost count as I got drunk midway). The food was delicious, perfect for those who enjoy hearty meals. There was even dessert, and by the end of the night, I was stuffed. The table setup is great for small group gatherings, although there are plenty of tables available. The food and drinks came out really quickly. Thank you, Hiroko-san, for organizing the event.

I ordered the crispy yakisoba for 800 yen and the original vegetable dumplings for 420 yen, both looked delicious in the photos. The crispy yakisoba had crunchy noodles with a savory topping that paired well with beer. The original dumplings were your standard vegetable dumplings, with a crispy skin and juicy filling. There is a gyoza restaurant in Iidabashi. It was quite crowded on Friday night, maybe because of that. You can enjoy Chinese food with good value for money. The gyoza is the most famous dish, with various options like black pork gyoza. The skin is chewy and the size is big and delicious. We also ordered shrimp chili, shredded pork with green peppers, and fried rice, but the number one was the fried rice. It seems like there are affiliated stores in various places, so I would like to try them out too!

I think this amount of food is reasonable for the area near Iidabashi Station! The original gyoza is slightly smaller and has a healthier feel to it, similar to "Yukimatsu's gyoza." On the other hand, the black pork gyoza is meaty and has a rich flavor, similar to "Ichidai Moto." Both have a chewy and crispy skin and the filling is very delicious. The fried rice is packed with eggs, char siu, and green onions, and the flavors of the ingredients come through beautifully. When you dip the gyoza in the sauce and take a bite, it transforms into a luxurious taste that really stimulates your appetite. It's almost like cheating. Personally, I definitely prefer the black pork gyoza! I highly recommend trying the black pork gyoza. Thank you for the delicious gyoza and fried rice. I will definitely come back soon. Located on the south side of the east exit of Iidabashi Station, this Chinese restaurant is situated on a back street. When I visited on a weekday evening, there were a fair number of customers. The restaurant has plenty of seating, so there was no wait. I ordered the black pork dumpling set meal in a regular size, and upgraded the rice to half-fried rice for an additional 110 yen. I also ordered a lemon sour. First, the lemon sour arrived. It had fresh lemon in it, which was nice, but the taste was a bit unusual. The fried rice came before the dumplings. It had a nice fluffy texture and was seasoned well. The dumplings were larger in size, with a slightly thick and crispy skin. The filling didn't really stand out as black pork, so I would have liked to compare them to regular dumplings.

I came here after a long time. During the weekday lunchtime around 12 o'clock, it is always almost full. The customers are mostly people working nearby, so they quickly go back to work after finishing their meal. The turnover is fast, so you may have to wait a little to get a seat. On this day, I had the Cantonese noodles with 4 original dumplings for 957 yen. It came with a side of cold tofu and soup. The Cantonese noodles had large ingredients scattered throughout, with mostly leafy greens on the edges (laughs). The 4 original dumplings were very filling.

There are several branches in Iidabashi, Kanda, Yurakucho, etc. I used to often have the lunch set with shrimp and chive dumplings and boiled dumplings, which was quite delicious. This time, I visited for dinner. The jellyfish, mapo tofu, original dumplings, and highball are of higher quality compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. The interior is also beautiful, the service is good, and the taste is consistent. It's nice that the highball comes with lemon.

Here is what I ordered: [Food] - Dan Dan noodles with extra noodles, served with 3 black pork dumplings (Before ordering, I was served water, tofu, and soup, which made me feel efficient. The soup for the Dan Dan noodles was thick, allowing me to eat it hot until the end. The black pork dumplings had a chewy skin and a flavorful filling, so I ate them all without any additional condiments. Although it wasn't listed on the menu, I actually wanted to have rice as well. I wonder if not many people order it.) Thank you for the meal.

Our go-to restaurant for banquets. The gyoza is delicious, as well as the stir-fried vegetables, egg with wood ear mushrooms, and mapo eggplant. This sister restaurant of Kanda Gyoza Honten in Jinbocho never disappoints. The gyoza taste is consistent! It's always packed after 7 PM, so we recommend making a reservation.

An eternal classic. I always end up ordering the "Today's Manpuku Set Meal" B【Extra Spicy】Szechuan Mapo Tofu Set with an additional 3 pieces of black pork dumplings. I've had this combination countless times since my days working in Iidabashi. Even though there are always other dishes I want to try, I end up ordering this B every time. Now it's more like once every 2-3 months. I always have a craving for dishes like leek soba or spicy hotpot noodles, but I still end up going back to this B.

This is a large restaurant, but during weekday lunch hours, there is a high chance of sharing a table with someone if you dine alone. Before ordering, you are served water, tofu, and soup. On this day, I ordered the mapo noodles with 4 original dumplings set for 950 yen. The mapo noodles were more sweetly flavored than spicy. The tofu had chunks in it, giving it a satisfying texture. The noodles were thin. The dumplings had a crispy skin. Being a specialty store, the food was quite delicious. It was a very filling lunch.

It's past 1 o'clock, so the lunch rush should be over... but the restaurant is still packed, with a line outside waiting. I've been craving sweet and sour pork since morning, so I'm trying to decide where to eat it... looking at today's schedule, I thought this place might be good for it. Sweet and sour pork can taste completely different at each restaurant, so I was hoping it would suit my taste here. As expected, it was a perfect match for me, and when I added vinegar halfway through, it became so refreshing! The deliciousness I was hoping for, and the efficient and wonderful staff that I imagined, made me think I couldn't let the heat get to me... This is what I call a power lunch!... Even though that's not the original definition, haha.

A must-visit gyoza restaurant! They have a variety of gyoza with chewy skin, both hearty and refreshing options available. My son even says he can just have gyoza and rice here. While we enjoy making gyoza at home, this restaurant is our go-to for eating out. And the cost performance is amazing! It has a local Chinese restaurant vibe, but the taste is solid and not just the gyoza, other dishes are delicious too. The locations in Kanda and Ochanomizu are famous, but the one in Iidabashi is also fantastic!

I visited because my 50 yen discount coupon was about to expire. I ordered the Szechuan-style noodle soup with shredded pork and original dumplings (4 pieces) for 891 yen. Even though I don't like Szechuan vegetables, I somehow ended up ordering it. There were a lot of ingredients, and my stomach was in bad shape, so I couldn't finish it. I added garlic miso and vinegar halfway through to change the taste. The place is always crowded, but there is always a lot of smoke at the entrance, and as soon as I left the restaurant, I was hit with a lot of cigarette smoke. I felt down after being exposed to the smoke after eating. I wish there was a way to do something about that smoke hell.

I found a Chinese restaurant in a building with many food establishments just before my meeting at 15:30. I didn't have much time, so I ordered the curry fried rice and 4 dumplings set from the lunch menu. The staff were very friendly and served me soup and cold tofu before I even ordered. The cold tofu was seasoned with sesame oil and Chinese broth, and the default soup was also good. The main dish, curry fried rice, was similar to curry pilaf but had a good portion size. I added some extra pepper to suit my taste. And the highlight was the dumplings. I went with the default option instead of the black pork, and they were incredibly delicious. Getting four tasty dumplings with curry fried rice for 890 yen is a great deal! The staff's service was excellent, so I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant in Iidabashi once a week!

In my log as a drinker, I sometimes... well, quite often? forget to take important photos... please forgive me... m(_ _)m There is no photo of the dumplings, but let me tell you clearly that this is one of my best dumplings! The key to my best dumplings is the balance between the skin and the filling, but in many cases, the richness of the filling surpasses the skin, and vice versa... In the case of local varieties, the emphasis on rotation is also important, and it is difficult to serve voluminous dumplings. A while ago, there was a boom in dumplings with solidified soup in the filling to make them juicy like xiaolongbao, and I also enjoyed them for a while... lol Among them, these dumplings are really satisfying for lunch even without alcohol! They are wrapped in a thick, chewy skin that can compete with the hearty filling, and they are baked firmly, so they are perfect not only with beer, but also with white rice! Among them, my personal favorite is the shiso dumplings! They are exquisite! As mentioned above, they have a hearty finish, so they are just right for a drinker at night. Well, I tend to use them more for izakaya-style dining at night lol, but in addition to the exquisite dumpling series, I can't do without the Lajiaoji (stir-fried chicken and chili. Surprisingly not spicy!), Ebi Mayo Mapo Tofu... and the extra edition Lemon Sour... are indispensable delicacies for me here. The meal included a side of chilled tofu and soup. The noodles had large ingredients, with some leafy greens on the side. The original dumplings were served in a set of four. Perhaps it's because I'm getting older, but I felt that the food was a bit greasy this time. I should have tried the "Black Hot and Sour Noodles" from the special menu. I always wonder why soup is served even when you order ramen here. I didn't drink any this time. Thank you for the meal. There were many men around me who ordered extra-large portions.
