SUSU
Osaka, visited the sushi restaurant "Taisuke" near Kintetsu Nipponbashi Station with a friend. We didn't have a specific restaurant in mind, so we decided to just walk around and see what we find. My friend seemed reluctant to walk too much, so we ended up entering a random restaurant nearby. It was a small place inside a building, without prices listed, so it took some courage to enter, but my friend was eager to eat, so we went in. Surprisingly, when I searched on Tabelog, the restaurant was listed with reviews, and it seemed quite popular. The staff, including the chef, his wife, and a male apprentice, were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The best part was that the restaurant was completely non-smoking. We enjoyed sake, wine (half bottles), and had a great time chatting with the chef about food and drinks. The pace of the meal was fast, and I ended up getting quite tipsy towards the end. We tried dishes recommended by the chef, such as marinated golden snapper and grilled sardines, which were delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, and we had a great time discussing various topics with the chef. The food was excellent, including dishes like mackerel, young yellowtail, tuna, spring snapper, squid, boiled conger eel, and homemade omelette. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
