I was completely amazed by this sushi restaurant located in the Umeda area, specifically in the Ohatsu Tenjin-dori shopping street. The name of the restaurant is "Umeda Sushi Nogizaka Feu". When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised to see digital art covering the walls. I thought it would be a trendy and modern sushi restaurant, but the dishes that came out were incredibly authentic. Here is a summary of the course I had: - Three kinds of appetizers (sea grapes, nagaimo and ankimo, firefly squid with miso) - Sashimi - First sushi plate (red snapper, amberjack, bluefin tuna, medium fatty tuna, firefly squid) - Specialty dish (simmered octopus with seasonal new ginger) - Chawanmushi (savory egg custard) - Second sushi plate (golden eye snapper, horse mackerel, ark shell, spot prawn, sea urchin) - Tekkamaki (tuna roll) - Tamago (sweet rolled omelette) - Red miso soup - Assorted fruits The sushi was divided into two parts, with a side dish in between, which I found to be a nice touch. The vinegar rice was slightly acidic and firm, which I really enjoyed. The toppings were delicious, with unique touches like kelp-cured red snapper and citrus soy sauce for the ark shell. The egg was also incredibly tasty, almost like a pudding. The attentive service, along with the unique digital art display, created a great atmosphere that felt like a different world from the bustling streets outside. Overall, I was very impressed with this sushi restaurant. They offer an "omakase nigiri (upper level)" course for 9,800 yen (tax included), but they also have lunch menus priced at 6,000 yen and 4,500 yen, which seem like good deals.

Omeda Sushi's omakase nigiri course special top course for ¥12800 includes three appetizers: mozuku vinegar, Nara pickled foie gras, and boiled bay scallops. It also includes first bonito, marinated mackerel, seared hataisaki, red tuna lean, fatty tuna, fresh squid with vinegar and salt, tender octopus simmered in vinegar, pickled conger eel, steamed egg custard topped with salmon roe, golden eye snapper nigiri with ponzu sauce, horse mackerel with a mixture of green onions and ginger, ark shell with citrus soy sauce, simmered spot prawn, eel soup, red miso soup, torotaku roll, seasonal dessert (orange, golden kiwi, cherries). Enjoy sushi while watching digital art on a large screen. The chef's culinary skills shine through from the appetizers. Even those who don't like mozuku vinegar found it delicious. The combination of foie gras and Nara pickles is a perfect match. The carefully selected seafood showcases the chef's dedication and skill, each piece bursting with deliciousness. The firm texture and flavor of the boiled bay scallop nigiri, the way the conger eel nigiri melts in your mouth, the tender octopus simmered in vinegar with a hint of suction cup texture - all were simply irresistible. The chef's explanations and service were wonderful, and my wife and I had a thoroughly satisfying time. Just looking at the ark shell nigiri's curve conveys the quality of every ingredient. I can't stop praising how delicious everything was. I would love to try their lunch menu next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I had the chef's choice sushi set for lunch. At the counter, the chef makes sushi at a pace that matches your eating speed. They also accommodate any ingredients you may not like. The food is delicious, the chef is friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. However, some of the other staff members seemed a bit unfriendly, which was a little disappointing.

I visited this place for the first time because I heard you can enjoy digital art while eating sushi in Umeda. The restaurant is located underground and it was clean. However, I was a bit disappointed with the digital art as it was just regular digital signage. The sushi was delicious, but the pace of serving was a bit fast. We finished dessert in about 45 minutes. We ordered a course meal for two and had some drinks, which cost around 18,000 yen. It felt a bit pricey for lunch, considering there were no other customers and the dishes were served quickly. It might be better for dinner. I would recommend it for young people who want to try something a bit fancy!

I made a reservation for the omakase sushi course (7,678 yen) at 12:30. It was my first time visiting, so I relied on the map on the website and wandered around the area several times. However, I couldn't find any sign or curtain that said "Umeda Sushi Wataru" on the map. Eventually, I found a lattice door that seemed like a sushi restaurant after going down the stairs following a sign for a different sushi restaurant. I opened the door and informed the chef-like person inside about my reservation, but he responded rudely, saying "Oh, it's from 12:30" and immediately asked me to leave. It was exactly 10 minutes before the reserved time, and despite finally finding the place and entering, his attitude made me feel like I had walked into a snack bar by mistake. I was really worried if everything was okay with this place due to this terrible first impression. I went back up the stairs, returned to the street, and re-entered the restaurant on time. The meal started with yellowtail sashimi, followed by 8 pieces of nigiri sushi, chawanmushi, and red miso soup. The sushi served did not give a good impression as it seemed like they were made from pre-cut pieces rather than being freshly prepared with a knife. I didn't show any obvious dissatisfaction in front of my companion, but if asked if I would visit again, I could answer immediately.

The signboard was the same as before, so I was a little hesitant, but when I went down to the underground and entered the store, it was a wonderful space separated from the outside. The dishes had just the right amount of volume and everything was delicious. The prices were also reasonable. The only thing that was disappointing was that the seasonal small dish, which was the most enjoyable part, was skipped, perhaps because the staff was handling everything from ordering to payment alone. When I pointed it out, they immediately made a wonderful dish for me, but aside from this one point, it was a very satisfying restaurant. If I have the opportunity to visit Kansai again, I would like to revisit this place.

I was surprised as soon as I entered the sushi restaurant in Umeda where you can enjoy digital art! The interior was fantastical with beautiful digital art on the counter. I chose the "Chef's Selection Nigiri Course [Upper]" and every dish was delicious, starting from the appetizer. It was amazing to enjoy sushi while surrounded by such a surreal atmosphere. The scenery of the ocean and cherry blossoms, which I love, was continuously displayed. Not only that, but the food was also great. I opted for the intermediate course this time, so as a big eater, I felt a bit unsatisfied, but I had a wonderful and enjoyable time.

The restaurant is called "Umeda Sushi," but officially it seems to be called "Umeda Sushi Nogizaka Style." I was invited to go there while talking about sushi. I didn't know anything about sushi restaurants, but I was interested because the Tabelog rating was high and Google had a low rating. First of all, it's disappointing that the entrance on the 1st floor is a bit tacky. This entrance might not be ideal for a date. However, once you go down, it's just a normal sushi restaurant. The interior is unique with several large monitors displaying a Japanese atmosphere, which foreigners would probably enjoy. Even though the person I went with was Japanese, they were oddly excited by the monitors (laughs). I had reserved a sushi course, so I didn't know the details beforehand, but the timing of serving was good. Each piece was explained carefully, and they answered questions, which was nice. Most importantly, everything was delicious! The content was good, and the portion size was sufficient. The course lasted about 2 hours, and since there were only two groups, the staff kept the conversation going and the level of service was just right. The only downside was the shared, old, and dirty restroom in the building. For couples or those who prioritize ambiance, this might lower the rating. However, personally, thanks to the owner, I would rate this restaurant highly.

Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station / JR Osaka Station, about a 7-minute walk, located on Ohatsu Tenjin Street, there is a sushi restaurant called "Umeda Sushi" on the Tabelog reservation, but the building sign says "Umeda Sushi Nogizaka feu", so I was a little worried, but when I went down to B1, the curtain said "Umeda Sushi", so I confirmed that it was correct. When I visited on a Saturday night, the restaurant was almost full, so it seems to be popular. There are several large LCD screens lined up behind the counter, showing scenic videos, but I didn't feel a sense of satisfaction to come and enjoy them. The atmosphere, taste, and service in the restaurant were all satisfactory, but I didn't feel a sense of satisfaction either. I felt that if I'm going to pay this price, there might be other options available. Thank you for the meal.

Good evening. This is Shun Mama. On this day, after work, I met up with my husband and went to a newly renovated sushi restaurant in Higashi Umeda. Going down the stairs of the Otemma Street Shopping District, we opened the frosted glass door and passed through the curtain of "Umeda Sushi". The sushi chef himself guided us to our seats at the counter, where we started with a refreshing beer. We ordered the omakase sushi course: - Appetizers: mozuku seaweed vinegar, ankimo (monkfish liver), Nara pickles, boiled bay scallops. The appetizers showcased the chef's dedication and creativity. - Sashimi: bonito and marinated mackerel, both fresh and delicious. - Sushi: gizzard shad, seared horse mackerel, lean tuna, fatty tuna, firefly squid (with yuzu and salt). The lean tuna and fatty tuna were particularly impressive. - Other dishes: tender simmered octopus, vinegar-marinated conger eel. The octopus was surprisingly tender and well-seasoned. - Vinegar dish: vinegar-marinated conger eel. The perfect balance of vinegar made even my husband, who usually dislikes vinegar dishes, enjoy it. - Steamed dish: chawanmushi (topped with salmon roe). The chawanmushi was incredibly delicious. - Sushi: golden eye snapper (with ponzu), horse mackerel (topped with grated ginger and green onions), ark shell (with citrus soy sauce), shrimp, simmered eel. The ark shell had a great texture and flavor. - Soup: red miso soup. - Roll: fatty tuna and pickled radish roll. The nori (seaweed) was exceptionally tasty. - Seasonal dessert (orange, golden kiwi, cherries). Throughout the meal, the chef's skills and creativity shone, with perfectly timed dishes that impressed us. My husband kept enjoying his drinks, and we savored every bite from the rolls to the dessert. It was a delightful dining experience at a sushi restaurant in Umeda. The fact that we could enjoy drinks there was thanks to not having to pay for our children's cram school anymore. It's hard to find such a nice restaurant like this one. We kept exclaiming "delicious!" with every bite, and we left with smiles on our faces. Papa, let's come back again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited Umekita Sushi, a sushi restaurant located on Ohatsu Tenjin Street, after making a reservation. As I descended the stairs, I was greeted by a lovely space that was quite unexpected for Ohatsu Tenjin Street. The wooden counter was charming, and the skilled chef prepared authentic Edomae sushi right in front of me. I ordered the Omakase course, which included a variety of dishes such as appetizers, sashimi, nigiri sushi, and dessert. The quality of the sushi was excellent, especially the seared dishes which were my favorite. The vinegar rice was seasoned with red vinegar, and the toppings were fantastic. The restaurant also featured digital art showcasing various scenes from Japan. The Omakase course in the evening cost 9980 yen, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the high quality of the food. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy authentic sushi at a great price. They also offer Omakase courses starting from 4500 yen and have affordable lunch options as well. The drink selection was reasonably priced and diverse. Overall, Umekita Sushi is a great value for the quality of food they offer!

[Umeda Sushi in Osaka Umeda] This time, I visited a restaurant called "Umeda Sushi" located in a building on Sonezaki Ohatsu Tenjin Street. Being underground, the lack of windows may give a sense of confinement, but as soon as you enter, you'll see a large screen with beautiful landscapes from various parts of Japan constantly playing, creating a surprisingly open atmosphere. [Omakase Nigiri Course - 9,800 yen] This is a course at a mid-range price point at this restaurant. Even though I don't drink much, I always feel like having sake with sushi! The sake menu is categorized based on "Sake Meter Value" and "Acidity," making it easy to imagine what kind of sake it is and choose one. - Appetizers (3 types): Mozuku vinegar, pickled conger eel, and ankimo (monkfish liver). - Sashimi: Starting with bonito! The seared skin adds a nice touch, and it's served with freshly grated new onion and ponzu sauce. - Nigiri Sushi: The sushi is rhythmically served by the chef. - Red Seabream: The vinegared rice slightly tinted with red vinegar crumbles softly, complementing the fish. - Grilled Horse Mackerel: Thick slices with a crispy skin. - Lean Bluefin Tuna: Melts in your mouth. - Fatty Bluefin Tuna: The fat distribution is different, making it unique. - Bigfin Reef Squid: Enjoyed with salt and sudachi citrus. - Octopus Stew: Incredibly tender! - Chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) with salmon roe: A luxurious touch. - Nigiri Sushi: Various types including golden eye snapper, horse mackerel, seared scallop, spot prawn, and conger eel. - Rolls: Kanpyo (gourd strip) and Tekka (tuna) rolls with pickles and tamagoyaki (rolled omelette). - Red Miso Soup: Rich and delicious. - Dessert: Seasonal fruits. I was able to enjoy the sushi in a relaxed manner, chatting with the chef without any tension. It seems like a good place for a second round of drinks as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I discovered a wonderful underground shop! When you pass through the curtain, you are greeted with a counter surrounded by nature. A fantastic digital art display expands right in front of you when you sit at the counter. The large screen is a feast for the eyes! It was especially helpful after a study session. The stylish atmosphere is perfect for dates or hanging out with friends. The authentic sushi crafted by experienced artisans was exquisite, made with fresh fish that was simply delicious. There was also a great selection of tasty sake, which was a nice bonus! I had a course meal, which included: Small dish - Spring vegetable ohitashi, 4 pieces of nigiri sushi - flounder, lean tuna, scallop, horse mackerel, Seasonal delicacy, Steamed dish - chawanmushi, 4 pieces of nigiri sushi - shrimp, golden eye snapper, conger eel, squid, Roll - kampyo roll, tamago, Soup - red miso soup, Dessert - fruit. The course meal was very satisfying and had a good amount of variety. I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I'm in the area! I visited Umeda Sushi at Ohatsu Tenjin in Osaka for the first time! It's only a 1.2-minute walk from Higashi-Umeda Station, so the access is great! Digital art and sushi? It's hard to imagine! I was curious even before going there! Today, I ordered the Omakase Nigiri Course [Upper] for 9800 yen. It was a full course meal with appetizers, sashimi, nigiri sushi, a hot dish, dessert, and it was quite filling! The appetizers included ankimo, long yam with wasabi soy sauce, simmered abalone, and pickled conger eel. The sashimi was bonito with grated onion and ponzu sauce. The first round of nigiri included red snapper, bluefin tuna, seared saury, fatty tuna, and firefly squid. The hot dish was tender simmered octopus. The second round of nigiri included golden eye snapper, horse mackerel, marinated scallop, sweet shrimp, simmered conger eel, fresh sea urchin, and rolled sushi. The dessert was served at the end. I personally prefer courses with more nigiri, so this was a hit for me! The sushi rice had red vinegar which made it slightly sour. It was different from Kanto-style sushi rice, I think. My companion was drinking alcohol, so he had his sushi rice in smaller portions, but I managed to eat all 20 pieces and was quite full towards the end! The sushi toppings were fresh and delicious! While waiting for the nigiri and hot dishes, we enjoyed the digital art which was very soothing. It was a beautiful and unique sushi restaurant! I have a feeling that it will become popular in the future! It's located in Ohatsu Tenjin, so it's not extremely cheap, but they offer reasonably priced courses suitable for the younger generation. I highly recommend it for dates and special occasions! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I went to a sushi restaurant with my husband. I don't get nervous when eating conveyor belt sushi like at Kura, but I do get nervous when it's not rotating. The sushi restaurant is located underground on Higashi-dori in Umeda. It was a bit confusing to find the entrance inside an izakaya! We sat at the counter, and there was a screen behind us showing digital movies like Las Vegas, creating a unique atmosphere to enjoy sushi. We had the omakase sushi course [upper] for 9,800 yen. The sushi, including anago and kinmedai, was all delicious. It was so luxurious! For dessert, we had fruits, which were sweet and delicious. It was the height of happiness. They also offer lunch courses for 4,500 yen and 6,500 yen, so I will definitely go back. With this quality, it's definitely worth the price of 10,000 yen. I became addicted to the delicious food. Service: Excellent, Price: Good, Taste: Excellent, Atmosphere: Good. I will definitely visit again when I want to eat sushi in Umeda.

I went to eat sushi at Ohatsu Tenjin in Umeda! At first, it was a bit confusing to find, but there was a video store next to it with an entrance downstairs. When you go downstairs, the atmosphere changes completely with large digital art and a counter seat surrounding it. I had the Omakase nigiri course for ¥9800, which included appetizers, simmered abalone, firefly squid namero, foie gras and grated nagaimo with wasabi, saba sashimi, seared madai and isaki, hotsugatsuo, octopus simmered until tender, ikura chawanmushi, sushi with kinmedai, aji, akagai, shako, anago, tamagoyaki, bettara-zuke, kanpyo-maki, tekka maki, red miso soup, and a seasonal fruit platter. The combination of art and sushi was innovative and interesting, perfect for when you want to indulge a little. Check it out if you get the chance! 😊

Recommended for dates and anniversaries, this sushi restaurant offers delicious sushi at a reasonable price. They will customize the size of the sushi rice to your liking, all seasoned with red vinegar. The counter is decorated with digital art, creating a stylish and relaxed atmosphere. The lineup for the day included items such as ankimo, Nara pickles, saba sushi, tai, bonito, chutoro, horse mackerel, horse mackerel, and more. The top 5 recommended items by the reviewer were: 1) Kinmedai - sweet and goes well with red vinegar, 2) Kanpachi - rich flavor and a crunchy texture, 3) Hatsukatsuo - topped with fresh onion for a nice kick, 4) Shime-saba - not too salty with a rare sweetness, and 5) Ankimo - tried for the first time with Nara pickles. The reviewer also praised the excellent service and the rare Junmai sake offered. Overall, a hidden gem in Umeda where you can enjoy delicious sushi and drinks. The reviewer tried the omakase sushi course priced at ¥6500.

【Umeda Sushi】2-11-20 Senzaki, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Haruki Senzaki Building B1F-E. The owner of the shop personally selects seafood at the market and creates delicate and beautiful dishes that are like works of art. We tried the Chef's Choice Nigiri Course [Upper] 15 items - 6500 yen (tax included). The highlights were: Firefly squid namero, swordfish, grilled frost ikura chawanmushi, red miso soup with egg. The sushi included red snapper, grunt, bonito, tuna, horse mackerel, big sweet shrimp, scallop, seared gourd roll. Everything was delicious, but the most impressive was the horse mackerel nigiri topped with a combination of green onions and ginger, which was amazingly delicious. The giant sweet shrimp was the largest I've ever seen, with a satisfying texture. The tuna was incredibly fresh and shiny. The squid was served with rock salt and vinegar with yuzu, enhancing its sweetness. It was tender and flavorful. The egg at the end was incredibly smooth and felt like a dessert. Overall, the quality and price of the food make it a great value for the location. There are also more affordable courses starting from 4,500 yen. They offer a variety of drinks, so you can enjoy both sushi and drinks. The counter seats were nice, but they also have private rooms perfect for entertaining important guests. Highly recommended, so be sure to visit when you're in the area.

【Great Value Red Vinegar Sushi Course Meal!】I made a reservation for Friday at 12:00. Although there were customers in the private rooms, the counter was quite empty. They mentioned that weekends are busy, but weekday lunches are still quiet. The standout feature in the calm interior is a large monitor displaying digital art. Enjoy various landscapes from different countries while dining! ・Omakase Nigiri Course 15 items ¥6500 In conclusion, this lunch course is quite a great deal and will leave you feeling satisfied. The course itself takes about a little over an hour. ◼️I'm sorry for drinking in the afternoon, I'm clumsy ◆Omakase Nigiri Course 15 items ¥6500 (tax included) ・One Dish: Firefly Squid Namero, Cutlass Fish, Grilled Frost, Ikura Chawanmushi, Red Miso Soup, Egg (treated as a dessert) ・Sushi: Madai, Isaki, Hatsukatsuo, Maguro Akami, Aoriika, Kinmedai, Aji, Extra Large Sweet Shrimp, Scallop, Seared Gourd Roll ・Drink: Bottled Beer (Asahi, Kirin, Ebisu) ¥800 Highball ¥900〜¥1500 Starting with namero, the course offers elegant flavors from the first dish. I love grilled frost, so the cutlass fish was a hit for me! The sushi with red vinegar was perfect, with a hint of citrus aroma and excellent Isaki! The MVP of the day was the horse mackerel. The green pickled ginger with negi on top was the perfect accent, matching the richness of the horse mackerel. The large sweet shrimp, visibly large, had a great taste but a firm texture that was different from what I usually have, making it incredibly delicious. The scallop, marinated and then seared, had an extra touch to enhance the delicate marinated aroma. The ikura chawanmushi that came in the middle not only added color but also had a delicious taste and a popping texture, making the chawanmushi even more enjoyable. They asked about the shari (rice) portion and were able to adjust accordingly. The location is in Otemonjin, and with private rooms suitable for dates or for two people, why not consider it for a date?

A sushi restaurant in Omi Tenjin. They have a counter as well as private rooms, so you can enjoy your meal in various ways. Especially, there is a large screen behind the counter showing digital art, making you feel like you're in Las Vegas or another foreign place while enjoying delicious sushi in front of you! It's amazing! The course I had this time was the Chef's Choice Nigiri Course for 9800 yen, which included appetizers like grated yam with wasabi soy sauce, ankimo (monkfish liver) and pickled nara, simmered abalone, firefly squid with miso, and soft-cooked octopus. All of them go well with alcohol! The best part is that you can enjoy a variety of dishes in small portions. The course also included sashimi of fresh bonito and mackerel, sushi with red sea bream, seared saury, bluefin tuna, fatty tuna, and firefly squid, salt-grilled beltfish, red clam vinegar with liver, chawanmushi, sushi with golden eye snapper, horse mackerel, red clam, spot prawn, and eel, red miso soup, and a rolled sushi with fatty tuna. The ingredients were all fresh, and red vinegar was used for the sushi rice. The toppings were also unique, like grated green onions and ginger on the horse mackerel, and citrus soy sauce on the red clam. Usually, sushi courses have a small number of pieces, but this one had 10 pieces and additional dishes, so I was very satisfied with the portion size. The courses start from 4500 yen, so you can enjoy sushi at a reasonable price here.

Located in the middle of Ohatsu Tenjin Street, this restaurant is situated in a corner on the basement floor of a building, surrounded by other izakayas. As you descend the stairs and enter, you are greeted by a large monitor displaying digital art, showcasing various scenes like underwater, mountains, and even Disney worlds. The reviewer found it intriguing, despite the high price. The restaurant was playing scenes of Las Vegas during their visit, which brought back memories of a trip there 20 years ago. They enjoyed a smooth and cold draft beer at the counter, where they could watch the chef prepare sushi in front of them. The chef was kind and accommodating, even inquiring about the reviewer's appetite. The reviewer started with three appetizers - sea grapes, ankimo, and firefly squid namero - all of which were delicious. They also had bonito sashimi with grated onion, followed by a selection of sushi and dishes like simmered octopus and steamed rice with white fish. They paired their meal with Japanese sake, carefully selected to complement each course. The sushi included dishes like red snapper, tuna, and sea urchin, ending with tamago and bettara-zuke for dessert. The reviewer praised the attentive service and the relaxed atmosphere, enjoying a moment of escape from the bustling Umeda district. Overall, they had a delicious dining experience and were grateful for the hospitality.
