JR Tozai Line, just a short walk from Kitashinchi Station. This is a teppanyaki restaurant where anyone can enjoy yakisoba, okonomiyaki, and wine. If someone asks me for a delicious place in Kitashinchi, I always recommend this place. It's a great spot for girls to accompany as well, reasonably priced and everything on the menu is delicious. For people who don't know each other well, it's better to choose a la carte options rather than course meals. That way, you can adjust for likes, dislikes, and portion sizes. That's why I recommend Tanpopo for men, dates, or friends. They have counter seats, tables, and private rooms, so you can choose your seat according to your needs. The seasonal homemade fuki no tou and Akashi octopus tempura is delicious and my personal recommendation. Although I didn't have it this time, the different noodles in the pork kimchi yakisoba for 1,550 yen is also my top pick. The seasonal tempura, lotus root stuffed with meat, grated yam with cherry shrimp and dried squid, special thin noodle yakisoba, and pork kimchi yakisoba are the dishes I recommend for first-timers. Tanpopo is a famous okonomiyaki restaurant known for its wide variety of wines. The okonomiyaki was delicious and had a nice three-dimensional shape. Despite serving a large number of people, the staff, consisting of just two people, were very busy but still managed to provide great service. I had a course meal this time, but I would like to visit again for a la carte next time.

July 2023, we had a teppanyaki dinner at a popular restaurant. We sat at the counter and ordered the chef's recommended course, where we could enjoy a variety of dishes. The mozzarella cheese salad with Italian dressing was delicious, and the grilled yam with squid was a refined twist on a common dish. The scallops and shiitake mushrooms with spicy bean paste and breadcrumbs had a unique flavor that we loved. The teppanyaki beef steak was simply delicious. For the main course, we chose between yakisoba and okonomiyaki. The yakisoba had a crispy texture and was cooked with vegetables and pork belly separately before being combined with a special sauce. It was like something you would find at a specialty yakisoba restaurant. The okonomiyaki was also meticulously prepared and incredibly tasty. We couldn't resist ordering the additional fluffy and creamy crab omelette, which was a real treat. The reasonably priced and delicious wine served by the glass added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. It was another fantastic dining experience. Thank you for the delicious meal! ❤️

I made a reservation for a shared course with 5 girlfriends. Although we didn't specifically request it, we were able to enjoy our meal in a private room. It was nice to be able to relax and chat while enjoying the food. The grilled green asparagus salad was surprisingly flavorful, perhaps due to the moisture being removed well on the teppanyaki grill. The homemade hanpen with octopus and sansho pepper was chewy yet fluffy, with the texture of the octopus and the spicy kick of the sansho pepper adding a delicious accent. The scallop and shiitake mushroom dish with Mao's spice was perfectly cooked. The meat, yakisoba, and okonomiyaki were all very tasty as well. And all of this for just 5800 yen, which I think is a great deal. Next time, I think I'll try ordering a la carte.

I had made a reservation in advance at the #tanpopo restaurant that I had been wanting to visit. I informed them about my wheat allergy, so they made the entire course gluten-free for me. It was a teppanyaki restaurant, and even though I know gluten-free is not the traditional way, as someone with allergies, I was extremely happy. They even had a sommelier, but I was in a hurry so I couldn't have any wine. The pork kimchi yakisoba and the shiitake scallops with chili oil powder on top were incredibly delicious. #KitashinchiGourmet #KitashinchiDinner #GlutenFreeDinner

Located inside a building in Kitashinchi. The orange door stands out. The counter is spacious and there are windows, so there is no sense of oppression. Even with a large group, the atmosphere at the table seats was comfortable. I had the night course, and the Buta-Tama Half with Fukui Prefecture Jigaraishi was deliciously fluffy. I thought it was an interesting concept for a restaurant.

I had always wanted to visit Tanpopo-san before they moved, and finally, I got the chance! Everything I tried was delicious. The thick asparagus and lotus root stuffed with meat were tasty. From cheese to beef, scallops, chicken, and yakisoba, everything was delicious. The thin noodles in the yakisoba were especially good. It's dangerous because you can eat it like a snack! I was so full that I couldn't eat the okonomiyaki, but I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much!

"A stylish space where you can enjoy exquisite okonomiyaki and teppanyaki with seasonal ingredients. This time, we sat at the counter where you can enjoy teppanyaki. This is a well-known restaurant that food enthusiasts are familiar with. It's a popular place, so early reservations are a must. The menu all looks delicious. I can't decide, I want to try everything. For starters, I went with the spicy konjac. It's irresistible for konjac lovers. The homemade seasonal satsuma-age is fluffy and incredibly delicious. The grated yam okonomiyaki with Akashi octopus and green onions is truly delicious. The okonomiyaki (pork, squid) with Kachokavalo cheese from Yoshida Ranch is a rare gem because it's so delicious. The special thin noodle yakisoba (pork) is a unique and incredibly tasty dish that you can't find elsewhere. There are still so many dishes I want to try. The menu composition is wonderful, surrounded by all my favorite dishes, it was a fantastic dining experience. Delicate seasoning, quality ingredients, and the skill to bring out the flavors to the fullest. This is one of the top restaurants. I don't think any more explanation is needed. I just want people to come and taste it for themselves."

I made a net reservation at 18:15 on a regular day. It is a popular restaurant in the Michelin Guide Osaka 2023 - Bib Gourmand, located about a 2-minute walk from JR "Kitashinchi Station" on the 6th floor of Eiraku Building, boasting "Teppanyaki and Italian wine in a stylish space". It was chosen as the second best in the MBS program "Mizuno Maki's Magical Restaurant: Really Delicious Okonomiyaki in Keihanshin" aired in November 2022. The restaurant, opened in November 2017, has a modern atmosphere with a total of 16 seats in a small store equipped with a wine cellar. The kitchen was run by 2 chefs and 1 staff member for customer service. This time, I ordered the "Large Plate Share Course: Grilled dishes, two main dishes of fish and meat, okonomiyaki or yakisoba, a total of 5 dishes for 5800 yen". The content and evaluation are as follows. [◎, ◯, △] Appetizer ◯ Red oysters from Sakoshi, Akashi octopus and butterbur sprouts cooked on a copper plate, Fish dish ◎ Shrimp mayonnaise with cilantro and chili, Meat dish ◯ Medium rare Miyazaki beef steak with onions, garlic, and shallots as side dishes, Okonomiyaki ◎ Pork okonomiyaki cooked on a teppan, served with mayonnaise and Fukui's local hot sauce. The beer was Carlsberg for 700 yen. The BGM was good jazz music. The customers were mostly adults from Kitashinchi (couples, madam groups, companions), with about 80% occupancy rate and a 70% female ratio. The current Tabelog rating is 3.54. The staff's sincere and friendly service was a plus. It was a creative teppanyaki restaurant that focused on meticulous and delicate work. It would have been perfect with some baguette and dessert. It was a stylish teppanyaki and okonomiyaki restaurant. Every dish was delicious, and the okonomiyaki was especially tasty. It had a crispy texture on the outside, firm but not burnt. The inside was not too dense, not too packed, and very flavorful. I usually prefer softer okonomiyaki, but this balanced texture made me appreciate the firmer style as well.

Tanpopo in Kitashinchi. It's a hidden gem of a restaurant that I don't want to tell anyone about. - Asparagus and pork salad: The acidity of the dressing, the richness of the pork, and the crunchiness of the asparagus make it delicious! - Lotus root stuffed with meat: Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and delicious! - Tanpopo pork okonomiyaki: Fluffy and with a gentle taste, it's delicious with a hint of fat! - Pork kimchi yakisoba: The richness of the pork kimchi, the acidity, and the chewy flat noodles all come together to make it delicious! It was a stylish and wonderful restaurant.

It's been a while since I found a restaurant with good value and delicious food. This place offers okonomiyaki and yakisoba paired with Italian wine. They also have a variety of appetizers. They have a walk-in cellar where they bring out a few bottles based on your preferences and provide detailed explanations. I definitely want to go back! Thank you for the meal!

I visited a high-class okonomiyaki restaurant in Kitashinchi for the first time. It was listed in the 2022 Michelin Guide. I enjoyed wine and various dishes along with the okonomiyaki. I ordered their homemade sweet potato tempura, which was delicious. I ordered corn, pork, kimchi, sakura shrimp, and shredded yam okonomiyaki, seafood casserole, omusoba, and banana crepe. Everything was delicious. The texture of the cabbage in the okonomiyaki was just right, and the omusoba was excellent.
