I had delicious yakitori at Matsuming. It was our second stop and we hadn't made a reservation, but they kindly welcomed us. Every skewer was tasty, and I enjoyed a good time with a glass of orange wine. The hospitality was excellent and wonderful. Thank you for the meal.

The interior of the restaurant was surprisingly stylish and not at all formal. When I went with a pregnant friend, they took good care of us and were very considerate, which was nice. However, if you come as a couple or with someone of the opposite sex, be careful because the skewers can get stuck in your teeth (they're really delicious though). I went with a female friend and we both ended up really full and satisfied.

I went to the Ichimatsu series again. The entrance was stylish. Inside, it was dimly lit like a bar. The skewers and grilled vegetables that kept coming were all exceptionally delicious. Even the matcha at the end was delicious. I had 3 drinks without any additional course, and it cost around 12,000 yen per person, which is quite reasonable for Kita-Shinchi. Perfect score.

<2023.2> Exploring new places ❤️ I visited all the restaurants in the beloved Ichimatsu group (*´ー`*) I went to Ichimatsu, Matsusato, Zenzai, and Kachigarasu, and Matsuyaki was the last one (^-^) With this, I have conquered all of the Ichimatsu group♪ It's in Kitashinchi, but Matsuyaki is a pretty easy place to enter for a first visit, you can even go alone♪ The head chef is very kind ❤️ This area truly lives up to the Ichimatsu group's reputation (^ー^) While they have similarities, each place has its own unique charm. The yakitori is delicious, but the other dishes are also really tasty ❤️ The curry was super delicious, and at the end, they served dessert and matcha (*’ω’ノノ゙☆パチパチ I ended up ordering a lot more (lol) because it was so delicious♪ Thanks to the perfectly balanced service from the head chef, I had a great time enjoying the delicious food. I will definitely come back♪ Thank you for the meal ⭐

Today's dinner: It's haircut day for my child, so the family went to Osaka. We had dinner at "Yakitori Matsuming" in Kitashinchi. This restaurant uses a rare chicken from Akita called "Hinai-jidori" for their yakitori. The course menu includes appetizers, grilled dishes, skewers, and creative dishes using seasonal ingredients. We had ricotta cheese oden, tebasaki (chicken wings), zuri no engawa (flounder fin), chawanmushi with Ama-no-nori seaweed and lily root, toritaku (chicken tenderloin wrapped in shiso and seaweed), kurokawa (black skin), Shizuoka onion nouveau, tebasen (chicken wing tips), wasabi-yaki (grilled with wasabi), negima (chicken thigh and leek skewers), Osaka Kawachi duck tsutegayaki, mame cabbage, sekan (back liver wrapped in lettuce), tsukune (chicken meatballs), wasabi-yaki (additional order), kokoro to kimo (heart and liver, additional order), grilled cheese (additional order), bonjiri (chicken tail, additional order), soup curry with ginger pickles, and matcha with raw chocolate. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere and chef were great. Highly recommend this yakitori restaurant. Sister restaurant of Ichimatsu. Since Ichimatsu is very difficult to make a reservation, I thought it would be fine to try this place. Managed to slip in for the second round by calling on the same day. You can enjoy a high-value yakitori course here. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side, so if you're a drinker, it will be a normal value for money. They focus more on the quantity rather than quality. You can try various creative skewered dishes. The main seating in the restaurant is at the counter with about three 4-person seats. It can be used for various occasions. It seems suitable for dates and even business entertainment. The difficulty in reading "松明" as "タイマツ" is quite high. Thank you for the meal.

If you're looking for a nice atmosphere for a yakitori restaurant, this place is recommended! The courses are elegant and the taste is great. It's similar to Ichimatsu's chain, and I've been to other places in the chain, but they're all delicious. Even in a nice atmosphere yakitori restaurant, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, which is good. I think we drank and it was under 10,000 yen that day. I want to go back here again.

I went to Matsuming with a gourmet friend for the first time, and it was truly high quality. The staff were friendly and the yakitori was consistently delicious. We also enjoyed unique dishes like cheese oden and ended up ordering several more. The total cost was around 10,000 yen per person, which was great value for the quality we received.

We used this place for a work celebration. The yakitori here is delicious! It may just be yakitori, but it's exceptional yakitori. The carefully selected chicken and the chefs who prepare it are truly wonderful. We had a course meal, and it felt like we got to know the personality of this restaurant. The shochu "Chun Chun" that we had with it was a perfect match for the refreshing yakitori, with a pleasant aroma that lingered in our noses. Finally, we were served matcha tea, which was a nice way to finish off the meal. Tonight, we enjoyed the best of Japanese cuisine, and through the yakitori, we experienced the hospitality of Japan.

Oh, it was so moving! The course was incredibly delicious. The attentive service made it a pleasant experience. Every yakitori dish was impressively tasty, and even the vegetables were delicious. The chawanmushi was interesting and tasty too! After finishing the course, we ordered more yakitori, and it was definitely worth it. I was so happy and full. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This is a yakitori restaurant located in Eiraku in Kitashinchi, a sister store of the famous Ichimatsu. Just like Ichimatsu, they mainly grill local chicken, with a focus on Hichinai Jidori. When you enter, you start by taking off your shoes at the entrance. Inside, there are 8 counter seats on the left and table seats on the right, all with sunken kotatsu tables, making it very comfortable to sit. The counter is quite close to the kitchen, giving it a powerful and appetizing atmosphere. The menu and flow are similar to Ichimatsu, but unfortunately, they didn't have sandwiches this time, which was a shock. The course included appetizers, ricotta cheese, oden skewers, Hichinai Jidori raw ham skewers, shoulder skewers, sandfish skewers, Sasataku (sasami and pickled radish), Hichinai Jidori chawanmushi skewers, Manjyuuji skewers, tebasaki skewers, chicken liver and sake steamed skewers, seseri skewers, negima skewers, bonjiri, corn skewers, kokoro skewers, tsukune skewers, shirokimo skewers, additional Kawachi duck belly skewers, and additional Chouchin chocolate matcha. This is my first visit. I passed through the curtain with excitement. The service was very gentle and kind... it was wonderful. It started with ricotta cheese oden, then moved on to shoulder meat, stomach, nori-wrapped chicken breast, Hichinoshiki chidori chawanmushi, and sweet long peppers. From around this point... I started to feel the greasiness. Maybe they used too much olive oil...? I started to feel disappointed because I couldn't taste the goodness of the ingredients. Then, there were chicken wings, negima, Kawachi duck doteyaki, and Sanchez-wrapped back liver... the greasiness was starting to bother me. I couldn't eat anymore. The dishes lacked the juicy and natural flavor that chicken meat should have... I started to feel heartburn... I just wanted to take one bite and finish. I managed to eat a bite of rice as well... and finally, matcha and dessert were served, but the dessert was a chocolate terrine... I wished for a refreshing dessert. It was a bit tough with the limited taste variety and the heartburn... it ended up being a disappointing dinner.

Market Matsuo's sister restaurant. The menu consists of courses only. We were able to enjoy yakitori slowly over about 2 hours. The chicken itself was delicious, but the grilling, salt, and flavors were all exquisite and simply delicious. They came to refill our drinks at the perfect timing and provided us with matcha tea after the meal, making it a satisfying course overall.

I visited Matsuming for the first time. I have been to Ichimatsu a few times, but this was my first visit to Matsuming. Just like Ichimatsu, the dishes at Matsuming were unique and of high quality, with a strong sense of dedication in each dish. The atmosphere was also great, a bit livelier than Ichimatsu, making it suitable for dining with a group or for a meal with a few people. I think this restaurant will be particularly useful during the upcoming season.

First time at this restaurant, a branch of Ichimatsu ( ╹▽╹ ). The interior was surprisingly narrow, but elegant! The oshibori was not the usual kind from a supplier, but a unique hand towel instead (•‿•). The course menu consisted of dishes served in order, like chicken and vegetables. The quality of the chicken and ingredients was definitely good (・∀・). However, while the yakitori was good, the chicken course seemed a bit simple. But it was still delicious! The dessert was chocolate, with a nice touch, but it looked a bit plain with just a piece of chocolate on the plate (´;ω;`). Overall, it was average. Maybe my expectations were too high, so I can't say it was amazing! (。•́︿•̀。)

I visited a yakitori restaurant that was not part of the Torishiki group for the first time in a while. While the yakitori couldn't quite compare to Torishiki in terms of cooking technique and portion size, it was still delicious. If you don't know the peak of yakitori, you'll be satisfied with this level. Additionally, the side dishes served as great accompaniments to the drinks, which is rare to find in Tokyo. The chicken ham, chicken tenderloin and shiso leaf wrapped in seaweed, and grilled chicken neck with skin were memorable. The rice porridge at the end was a bit of a waste... The course meal with three refills and four drinks came to 12,000 yen.

Today, I visited a yakitori restaurant called "Matsumei" in Kitashinchi. This place is affiliated with the famous restaurant "Yakitori Ichimatsu" also located in Kitashinchi, with a similar menu structure and only offering course meals. Unlike Ichimatsu, Matsumei is relatively easier to make reservations for, even on the same day, as it is not as well-known yet. The course content, grilled items, and daikon radish slices served as palate cleansers are almost the same as Ichimatsu. If you're still hungry after the course, you can also order additional items a la carte, just like at Ichimatsu. I love both Ichimatsu and Matsumei, so I always leave satisfied and will definitely visit again!

The course menu with three drinks for 10,000 yen was a great deal. The dishes were all fantastic, especially the grilled items which were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is more of a creative chicken cuisine place rather than just a yakitori spot. Some of the highlights were the chicken prosciutto, grilled chicken wings, and chicken meatballs. The dashi chazuke was a delicious way to finish the meal. The chocolate cake with salt and pepper was a unique and tasty dessert. I left feeling very satisfied after enjoying beer, champagne, and sake. The restaurant has a high-end feel but the staff creates a casual and friendly atmosphere. I also tried their take-out curry made with Hinai chicken, which was recommended as better than their rival restaurant's curry, and it was indeed delicious.
