The other day, I went out for a drink at a restaurant called "Kohaku Hankyu Sanbangai Branch" in Osaka City. It's a French-style teppanyaki restaurant. I hadn't been to Osaka in a while, so I decided to stop by. The restaurant is always crowded, and I waited about 20 minutes to get in, but it ended up taking 40 minutes to be seated. The interior has a long counter with only counter seats. The drink menu offers a wide variety of wines at affordable prices. I started with white wine and ordered dishes like Daikon Porcini Mushroom Cream Sauce, French Oden, Petit Savoy Cheese Okonomiyaki, Onion Gratin with Gruyere Cheese, Beef Tendon and Tripe Stew in Red Wine Hachimitsu Miso Sauce, Beef Fillet Steak with Japanese Truffle Butter Sauce, and Pumpkin Pudding with Cinnamon Cream for dessert. The food was delicious, and the wine was great. I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. I definitely want to visit this place again when I come back to Osaka.

Whenever I come to Osaka, I always make sure to eat here. I usually try to be careful not to drink too much for the second round, but this time I decided to indulge and ordered various dishes. I ended up finishing two bottles of wine. The daikon radish in oden, chawanmushi, beef lamp steak, onion gratin, and okonomiyaki were all delicious. The variety of sauces were tasty, and the baguette was also very popular.

I used it for a date.
【Good points】
- Great cost performance. The food is delicious and they have a wide selection of wines. It's a great place for wine lovers!
【Points to consider】
- You can't make reservations, so you have to wait in line. The atmosphere inside is bright and lively, more of a place to hang out and have fun with 2 or 3 people rather than a moody vibe.

I arrived at the Sanbangai store, leaving behind the bustling crowd at the lively Rukua store. It was past 1 pm on a weekday, and although there was a line, I was able to enter the store fairly quickly as the bell rang at the door. The Sanbangai store is calmer and the staff are polite. Now, onto ordering. I placed my order using the touchscreen panel: Daikon with porcini mushroom cream sauce, veal marinated sauté, Masumasu Muscat (white wine), and Raspberry Chocolate (red wine). First, the Daikon with porcini mushroom cream sauce and Masumasu Muscat (white wine) arrived! This wine, a slightly sparkling white wine, is said to go well with the Daikon. It is sweet, very easy to drink, and goes down smoothly. The delicious wine boosted my mood. The Daikon is clearly a popular dish. The cream sauce complements the Daikon well, and it's so tasty that it makes you want to eat it with plain rice. Next, the veal marinated sauté and Raspberry Chocolate (red wine) were served! The scent of the Raspberry Chocolate was exactly as its name suggests. The veal is paired with a refreshing yogurt sauce that cleverly masks any strong flavors. The crispy fried potatoes on the side are also delicious. Ah, it was so delicious! I ended up getting a bit tipsy in the middle of the day. It would be great if there were more casual dining places like this where you can enjoy a glass of wine without breaking the bank. Thank you for the meal. I'll be back soon.

It's been a while since I visited this place. Visiting a little late means less waiting time, so I recommend it. Today, I ordered mango and peach soup, spicy leek and tomato cold oden, beef cheek, onion gratin, lamb, pasta, and more. I forgot to take a picture of the popular porcini oden. The quality of each dish is really high, and the portion size is quite generous. The cost performance is excellent. If you're looking for a place where you can casually enjoy French-inspired food and drinks, this is the place.

I have visited Tennoji Mio store many times, but today it was closed so I lined up at the 3rd Street store at 5:00 PM and entered at 5:30 PM. I had the usual Daikon's Western-style Daikon with Foie Gras Chawanmushi. The baguette is a must, and wiping it with the Western-style Daikon's Porcini Mushroom sauce makes it exquisite. The cold tomato jelly was delicious, and the beef tendon tripe matched well with red wine. The only disappointing thing was that they were out of draft beer as soon as I entered.

I went for a quick wine and French food after my esthetician appointment! I didn't want to walk in the scorching heat after getting out, so it was perfect that it was only about a minute from the Hankyu station exit. However, it's currently 11:30 am. We just started the first rotation and ended up waiting for an hour and a half in line ( ; ˙꒳˙ )ハァ…ハア It was so hot. Hurry up and bring me some bubbly~ ♣︎ Food List ♣︎
☆Dishes☆

♢Seafood Marinade with Mustard Vinegar Miso Sauce: Shrimp, scallops, octopus. A refreshing flavor.
♢Beef Red Wine Stew with Butter-Scented Mashed Potatoes: Tender beef and rich sauce mixed with mashed potatoes. The perfect match for red wine.
♢Refreshing Lemon-Scented Fresh Tomato Pasta: The perfect acidity of tomatoes. This goes well with white wine.
♢Lamb with Herb-infused Sour Cream: Served with potatoes, it was crispy and delicious.
♢Baguette (2 slices): Ordered to dip in porcini sauce or red wine sauce. Delicious enough to eat on its own.

Whenever I go, there is always a line at "Akashiro" ♬.*゚ On this day, by lucky chance, I passed by when there was only one group waiting, so I decided to visit. The Sanbangai store requires waiting outside, so the hurdle was lower compared to other stores? When I visited in the afternoon, everyone seemed to have already finished eating, still looking delicious and everyone seemed to be having a good time ♬.*゚ The staff at this store were also exceptionally friendly compared to other stores. First, cheers with a cold beer~ Orders are placed individually using a touch panel. ◎ Daikon with Porcini Mushroom Cream Sauce 200 yen This is a must-eat item ♡ The combination of the dashi-flavored daikon and the Western-style porcini cream sauce is always a mystery, but I end up eating it all in one go! It was delicious as always. ◎ Izumi Nasu with Genovese Sauce Izumi Nasu is in season now. As expected! The hand-torn texture feels like Izumi Nasu. The juicy Izumi Nasu is paired with a rich and punchy Italian Genovese sauce. It instantly transforms into an Italian dish. I want to try making it at home too ♡ ◎ Baguette 240 yen The baguette was so delicious with the porcini cream sauce that I couldn't help but order it. The crumb is fluffy and the bread is easy to eat with no strong flavors. The 2-kire size was just right in terms of quantity. ◎ Beef Tendon and Tripe Stew with Red Wine Hachimitsu Miso Sauce 410 yen I have tried this before. A fusion of Japanese and Western flavors ♬.*゚ The demiglace sauce simmered in red wine with sweet Hachimitsu miso added depth to the flavor. This also goes well with baguette and surprisingly white wine ♡ ◎ Teppanyaki Onion Gratin with Gruyere Cheese 480 yen A luxurious dish where you can enjoy the sweet and tender onions. The sweetness of the onions is directly experienced, and on top of that, the gooey cheese stretches out, raising the excitement with a fun and delicious plate. ◎ Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Foam 780 yen The mushroom risotto is pretty normal, but the truffle foam still does a great job, spreading its aroma in the mouth, giving it a luxurious feel. If I were to be greedy, I would like it a bit firmer and with more cheese flavor. Still delicious ( ˶¯꒳¯˵)。o♡ It's nice that there are seasonal menus, and no matter how many times I eat it, I always want to eat the delicious daikon again. It's also nice to have a variety of glass wine options, so I would like to stop by again if it's not too crowded (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

I went after a long time. Around 4:30 on Friday, I waited for 20-30 minutes. I ordered wine and daikon, which came out quickly. Then I ordered a salad and other dishes, but they never came out. I asked if they were still coming because it was taking so long. They said maybe the order didn't go through. I waited another 1-2 minutes. The salad came out, but then another dish was delayed. I decided I didn't want it anymore and asked for the bill. I probably won't go back. I couldn't get into Lucua for lunch, so I tried again in the evening. Very disappointing.

I went around 3:00 PM on Sunday and had to wait in line for about 15-20 minutes because there were 4-5 people ahead of me. The classic daikon dish never fails to impress with its deliciousness. The excitement builds up from the moment you order dishes like tomato with consommé jelly or French-style okonomiyaki, and they taste even better when you eat them. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy sparkling wine in the daytime and keep wanting more.

On Friday at 7:00 PM, I was prepared for a long line, but there were only two groups ahead of us. This place in the Umeda area is a hidden gem. This was my second visit, and we mainly tried the new items on the menu. This place is affordable, delicious, and has a welcoming atmosphere where people of all ages can enjoy. I hope they open a branch in my hometown of Nagoya.

I went to a restaurant that I had visited many years ago. It's always crowded, but I felt like going back after a long time, so I went for lunch on a weekday. I lined up around 10:50 and was the first in line because they open at 11:00. On weekdays, you can usually get in without waiting until around 11:30. The tables are quite close together, so it's not a place to relax and chill, but more of a place to enjoy the food. They have a 2-hour time limit, and the remaining time is displayed on the order touch panel. There were many dishes with names I had never heard of, and since there were no photos on the touch panel, I showed the staff pictures of the dishes I wanted to try and asked for the names. The daikon French oden was delicious. The sauce was quite leftover, so I ordered some bread and dipped it in, which was a double treat. The Petite Savoie (cheese okonomiyaki) was quite small and could be eaten in two bites. Overall, the portion size of each dish was small, so it's nice that you can order a variety of dishes. This place has unique menu items, so it might be a good option when you're tired of the usual dining options. We didn't drink alcohol, and it cost about 6000 yen for two people. I would like to go back again when I remember it!

I've always wanted to go to this place, but it's always crowded on weekdays and weekends, so I couldn't make a reservation and just hoped to go there someday. After finishing half a day of work, I went with a colleague and luckily it wasn't busy and we were able to get in smoothly. The recommended white wine was so easy to drink, almost like juice, and delicious. I heard that it's dangerous to drink too much because it can make you very drunk. The dishes were all reasonably priced and incredibly delicious. It might feel like a lot for two girls, but with three of us, we were able to try a variety of dishes in smaller portions, which was great. It was like the perfect early dinner. It's frustrating that you can't make reservations and there's always a line, but it's definitely worth it. I would love to visit this place again if I have the chance. There were other menu items that caught my eye, so I hope to go back someday when the timing is right.

A famous French izakaya in Umeda. I had heard that it was delicious, but I always avoided it because there was always a long line. Finally, I visited for the first time. First of all, the wine is cheap. Bottles are in the 2000 yen range and there is a wide variety, which is great for wine lovers. There are a lot of food items that can be enjoyed as snacks, and the popular porcini daikon oden and foie gras chawanmushi are delicious! (I loved the chawanmushi so much that I ordered two.) Personally, I think the beef red wine stew really shows the effort of this restaurant. It's amazing how they can make beef, which might not be that delicious, taste so good. A place where you can drink wine and enjoy delicious food. I would definitely go back (if it's not too crowded).

During a business trip, my colleague took me to this place around 4 pm on a weekday (before closing time). I was truly surprised!! Everything was delicious! And the prices were really reasonable! The taste was amazing for the price. I forgot the official name, but the dish with daikon radish in porcini sauce was outstanding. I wanted to lick the plate clean.

I went to Akahaku after a long time. When I arrived at 10:50, there was already one group waiting in line. This place is really fun because everyone is drinking from noon. The foie gras menu has been gone for a while, so I hadn't been here in a while, but the food is still delicious. The daikon and porcini mushroom stew and the red wine stew are a must-try. I even had seconds of the daikon. The lunch on weekdays offers a 20% discount on wine bottles, which is nice. The wine is ordered through an iPad, and it shows the discounted price, making it easy to understand. Definitely recommend for a daytime drink!

I arrived at the store 10 minutes before it opened at 11 o'clock and there were only 2 people in line ahead of me. But by 5 minutes before opening, there were about 15 people in line. I was glad I came early. When it opened at 11 o'clock, the restaurant was about 70% full. I ordered daikon radish and beef stew in wine sauce. Both were great value for money! The wine was also 20% off on weekdays, making it even more affordable! I will definitely come back on a weekday!

A casual French restaurant where you can enjoy French-style oden and okonomiyaki. Their specialty is so delicious that you could even drink the sauce on its own. They offer a variety of options that are perfect for sharing with a friend. I finished with a delicious lean steak. It's always busy, so be prepared to wait!

After 4pm, there was a wait for one group. The restaurant was about half empty, but I waited for about 10 minutes. I wasn't very hungry, but I had been wanting to go back for a while when it's not too crowded, so I decided to line up. I ordered the usual foie gras chawanmushi and daikon porcini, and since I don't drink much alcohol, I ordered grape juice. The total was 1122 yen and there is a 2-hour time limit for seating. Orders are taken on tablets. It's always crowded because everything is delicious, so I understand why it's popular.

Arrived at 17:30 on Friday. Waited for about 45 minutes to be seated. There is a 2-hour time limit. The drink I had was a white wine with muscat flavor, costing around 500 yen. The must-try daikon dish is highly recommended. The sauce is very delicious. The daikon is a bit firm. The zucchini and potato fritters were also tasty at 470 yen. The sauce is rich, so it's best to dip generously. The beef red wine stew with buttery mashed potatoes was average. Although I wanted to eat the beef stew with a fork or knife, I was told to use a spoon. It was a bit difficult to eat with a spoon... Overall, I think the cost performance is good.
