Sakura, peach, and strawberry mochi are more delicious than the strawberry king! The Ama-Daira orange daifuku is a bit bothersome because of the skin.

The horse meat was delicious and the portions were huge! The anko was also great! I went on a weekend evening and there were about 20 people in line. My wife wanted to try it, so my 4-year-old daughter and I came to Umeda to buy it. We waited in line for about 20-30 minutes. I wanted to get pineapple as well as strawberries, but my daughter, who loves strawberries, insisted on getting 3 strawberry ones for our family of three. I would definitely like to visit this shop again.

"I lined up at Hankyu and got them!" said my mother proudly. Oh, these must be expensive. They all have a fruity and elegant sweetness in the red bean paste, delicious as expected. Personally, I think the strawberry one is the best. The person who first put strawberries in them should be awarded the honor prize. They were delicious, Mom! (゜∀゜) Thank you for the meal.

Hankyu Umeda Main Store, Sakai has a popular store called "Isshindo" that always has long lines. They use seasonal fruits to make delicious daifuku. On this day, there was no line in front of the store, so I took the opportunity to buy some. I bought Peach Daifuku, Crown Melon Daifuku, and Red Melon Daifuku, all made with my favorite fruits. The peach daifuku needs to be eaten on the same day as it is very juicy and moist. The Crown Melon Daifuku, which is a June limited edition product, was a bit disappointing as it lacked the expected sweetness. However, the Red Melon Daifuku was sweet and delicious. The mochi of the daifuku was soft and the white bean paste was creamy, complementing the fruits well. Overall, it was a satisfying treat. One Isshindo is located at Hankyu Umeda Main Store in Osaka.

I was finally able to buy fruit-filled daifuku that I've been wanting to try. I purchased the "Strawberry King" and musk melon flavors. The musk melon daifuku had a refreshing melon flavor that spread in my mouth, and it was really delicious. The strawberry one had a whole strawberry inside, and the sweet and sour taste spread in my mouth. I would love to eat them again.

On a regular day around 11:30, it was not crowded at the popular fruit daifuku specialty store. It is a chain store that offers takeout only and is often lined up. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Osaka Umeda Station on various train lines. The store is located on the basement 1st floor of Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store, in the Japanese sweets zone. The showcase is large with a wide variety of daifuku, including the classic strawberry and seasonal limited edition fruits. The strawberry daifuku (with red bean paste) priced at 368 yen including tax was decently tasty. It is a bit on the smaller side for the price, so it may not be worth waiting in line for. Thank you for the meal.

I have always loved Daifukuya, and used to buy their products often when I was in Osaka. Since it was around 7:30 PM, they only had the Ichigo no Ousama (King of Strawberries) daifuku (430 yen) left. It was wrapped around a big strawberry with red bean paste and mochi, giving it a satisfying texture. The price was reasonable too. It was as delicious as ever. They sell daifuku with seasonal fruits, so you can enjoy different flavors depending on the time of year. Highly recommended!

White Day Daifuku Gift. This gift set includes the King of Strawberries Daifuku, White Chocolate Strawberry Daifuku, Chocolate Strawberry Daifuku, and Musk Melon Daifuku. One day in March, at the basement floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store, I came across some sweets that caught my attention. It seemed like a shop specializing in "ripe fruit daifuku". I had a chat with the shop staff and decided to purchase two items that piqued my interest. When I got home, I put them in the fridge and opened the box when I started craving something sweet. Each piece was carefully individually wrapped, with the wrapping colors reminiscent of the fruits inside and even had a photo mark for easy identification. Now, let's dig in!
"Strawberry King" (430 yen excluding tax) ... This seemed to be the shop's signature product, so I decided to try it first. At first glance, it looked quite ordinary. I took a big bite as I usually do with daifuku, and...!!! "This is amazing." The moment I bit into it, an overwhelming amount of strawberry juice flooded into my mouth, creating a flood-like sensation. Unfortunately, I can't show you the cross-section because I devoured it in one go, but inside the daifuku skin was a whole strawberry. What sets it apart from the typical "strawberry daifuku" is the refreshing juiciness of the fruit. It felt as if I was eating a freshly harvested fruit straight from the tree. The sweetness of the skin complemented the fruit perfectly! I was so surprised that my eyes widened. It was incredibly delicious. This truly has the "King's presence".
"Dekopon Daifuku" (450 yen excluding tax) ... This was a seasonal limited "premium" daifuku recommended by the staff, so I decided to try it. Just like the previous one, this was also amazing. It had a refreshing acidity typical of Dekopon. Be careful not to spill the juice as it is so juicy. This one also had plenty of juicy fruit flesh. It was so delicious that I finished it in no time. This is going to be a hit! (probably already is). The box said "hand-picked fruit" and it was indeed true. I made a great purchase.
After enjoying them, I looked at the enclosed "shop overview" (see photo 2) and found out that you can also buy them at Kobe Hankyu if you're not in Osaka. This is convenient. I highly recommend it to those who haven't tried it yet because you can easily get your hands on it.

Ichigodou Hankyu Umeda Main Store! The King of Strawberries has a thin skin with white bean paste inside and a large strawberry! The sweetness is incredibly sweet and delicious! It has the typical acidity of strawberries, making it delicious! The bean paste is also sweet, which is great! I tried it for the first time and receiving it really lifted my spirits! Thank you for the meal!

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, I had the opportunity to enjoy the famous fruit daifuku from Isshindo. I have had it several times before, but this time I tried it again after a long time at the Hankyu Department Store in Umeda, Osaka. I made a reservation and purchased it before my afternoon drink, and picked it up before heading home. I bought the strawberry daifuku, including the "Strawberry King Daifuku" which uses strawberries 1.5 times larger than usual, priced at 456 yen tax included for two pieces. I also got a pineapple daifuku for 357 yen tax included, and a mango daifuku (I can't remember the price, but I think it was the most expensive). I enjoyed them the next morning, and the mochi was soft and not too firm even when refrigerated. The fruits were juicy and delicious, with the strawberry daifuku being my favorite. Thank you for the delicious treats!

On our way back from an outing with my wife, we stopped by Isshindou Hankyu Umeda Main Store to get souvenirs for our kids. They had a variety of fully ripened fruit daifuku lined up - mango, muscat grape, orange, and strawberry. I saw that they were tied with a string and cut to reveal a beautiful cross-section, but before I could try them, I realized that I'm not a big fan of this type of sweets, so I didn't end up eating them. My favorite place for fruit daifuku is Isshindou ♥︎ Peach season has started again (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ During peach season, I always have to eat this at least once. It's usually around ¥500-600 per piece, so it can get quite expensive every year, but it's just so delicious❤︎/// Also, compared to other fruit daifuku shops, the ones here are generally bigger!! The mochi is soft and chewy, not too thin, and the fruits inside are incredibly sweet and juicy. It was delicious as always this year ♥︎ The pineapple, which I've been buying every time recently, is consistently good, and the Miyazaki mango I bought for the first time was also really tasty (๑´ڡ`๑)♡ Even though I never get full from fruit daifuku, I always feel satisfied after eating two from Isshindou haha ♡ I've tried fruit daifuku from various shops, but this one is still my favorite (๑´ڡ`๑)■Peach daifuku ¥561■Mango ¥648■Pineapple ¥496

It's a visit on a regular day. There's always a long line no matter when you go. The photo shows ◻︎ Yubari melon ◻︎ Shine Muscat, both are seasonal limited items. Personally, I really liked the Yubari melon. It has a small amount of white bean paste so you can taste the original flavor of the melon. Thank you for the meal ☺️

I received a super rare cherry daifuku! It's wrapped in white bean paste and mochi, with the cherry intact. This year, it comes in two varieties: Sato Nishiki and Beni Shuho, both known for being large and delicious! You can casually compare the two while eating. Both are sweet and sour, and go well with the white bean paste. Cherries are in season for a short time, so if you're interested, get them soon! One Heart Do is famous for being the original fruit daifuku shop from Osaka and Sakai, known for long queues. They offer a wide variety of fruit daifuku, each with a fresh sweetness. Just like the main store in Sakai, it's recommended to visit on weekdays as weekends and holidays tend to have long lines.

Gifted items ♥ I often purchase them as well, but usually only get 3 pieces, so seeing such a wide variety really gets me excited ♥ The lineup includes... ▫️Strawberry (white bean paste) ▫️Muskmelon ▫️Mango ▫️Dekopon ▫️Pineapple ▫️Watermelon Daifuku, with a thin and soft outer layer, which I prefer ♥ I like the elegant white bean paste that doesn't overpower the fruit ( •̀֊•́ ) ♥ I've also tried peach, mandarin orange, and Shine Muscat before, and they were all delicious, never disappoints *̩̩͙⸝⋆ The muskmelon with cream cheese inside was a unique touch·͜· My personal top 3, including past flavors, are... 1st place: Strawberry (white bean paste) & King of Strawberries 2nd place: Peach 3rd place: Mandarin orange Since they are mostly fruit-based, you can eat them without worrying about calories, get your vitamins, and boost your immune system, right? d(˙꒳˙* ) #Yui-chan's recommended treats ♥ Highly recommended for souvenirs, self-rewards, or for the upcoming Golden Week holiday travel, so give them a try ·͜·

When it comes to "Fruit Daifuku" in Kansai, it's not in Nagoya or Kanazawa, but in Sakai! This is the origin of a traditional Japanese confectionery shop in Osaka and Sakai. One of the most famous shops is "Isshindo," located in Hankyu Umeda. They are known for their impressive Fruit Daifuku, with whole strawberries as the highlight. They also use a variety of fresh fruits like watermelon, peach, kiwi, melon, pineapple, mango, and more in their Fruit Daifuku. The size of their Fruit Daifuku is quite large, making it a perfect treat to enjoy by taking a big bite. The soft and chewy texture of the mochi enveloping the juicy fruits inside makes it impossible to eat elegantly with a fork or chopsticks. You have to just take a big bite and enjoy the overflowing juiciness. The white bean paste that surrounds the fruits complements the sweetness of the fruits perfectly. In addition to the strawberry Daifuku, they also offer sakura mochi and uguisu mochi. The prices are reasonable, making it easy to purchase and enjoy. The strawberry Daifuku is definitely the king of Fruit Daifuku, especially during spring when strawberries are at their best. Although my personal favorite strawberry Daifuku is from a place in Kagawa, I couldn't get it this year, so I indulged in plenty of them in Osaka. Recently, strawberry Daifuku is available all year round, but nothing beats the taste of spring strawberries.

I have visited the main store at Hagiwara Tenjin several times, but this time it was a gift. I usually make purchases while considering the price, but there are many generous and expensive fruit daifuku. ⭐️ Strawberry Daifuku The small strawberries and white bean paste blend well together ⭐️ Mango Daifuku I ate it the next day, and it was overly ripe with plenty of fruit juice... should be eaten on the same day! ⭐️ Strawberry King As the name suggests, the strawberries are big! This might be the best with white bean paste ♪ My daughter ate it first. I didn't get to try it this time ⭐️ Condensed Milk Strawberry Daifuku I tried it for the first time, and there is condensed milk on top of the strawberry, wrapped in white bean paste. The sweetness of the condensed milk mixed with the sweet and sourness of the strawberry is a delicious sweetness ⭐️ Mandarin Orange Daifuku This was my first time trying it. The mandarin orange did not disappoint with its acidity and the sweetness of the white bean paste, making it a nice combination. It was a deliciousness that made me want to go buy it again.

I tried comparing different strawberry daifuku in Osaka! One of the best fruit daifuku you must buy when you visit Osaka! They have the King of Strawberries, Sakura Strawberry Daifuku, and Matcha Strawberry Daifuku. The fruit daifuku from Isshindou are all delicious and I love them all. The mochi is so soft and chewy, wrapped around ripe and sweet fruits, making it the best in terms of sweetness and softness. Besides the classic strawberry daifuku, they also have a seasonal limited edition "Rare Strawberry Daifuku" which I tried. They were all delicious, but my favorite was still the classic "King of Strawberries". The Sakura Strawberry Daifuku has a hint of cherry blossom fragrance in the mochi with sweet and sour strawberries inside. It smells of cherry blossoms and tastes deliciously sweet and salty. The Matcha Strawberry Daifuku uses Matcha from Nishio, Aichi Prefecture, and the rich flavor of Matcha combined well with the sweet strawberries. The fruits change depending on the season, so it's fun to think about what they have today. It's located in Hankyu Department Store in Umeda, so it's very accessible. It's definitely a great choice for souvenirs that will be appreciated.

A popular shop known for their fresh fruit-filled daifuku. During the winter, the strawberry daifuku is recommended, but this time I tried the chocolate-covered strawberry daifuku. I chose one with milk chocolate and one with white chocolate. While the original fruit daifuku's deliciousness remains, the chocolate coating makes it irresistible for chocolate lovers. However, after trying it, I personally feel that it might be better without the coating. If asked to choose between milk chocolate and white chocolate, I prefer the milk chocolate!

I had been curious about a shop that always has long lines, so I finally tried their fruit daifuku other than strawberry. I bought the mandarin orange daifuku, which was as fresh and delicious as I had hoped. The balance between the daifuku and the fruit was perfect. I also tried the limited edition white chocolate strawberry daifuku, but I didn't think the crispy chocolate texture went well with the daifuku. Overall, I would like to try other fruit daifuku in the future. Thank you for the meal!
