Meat lovers will love this place! The quality at this price point makes it the best cost performance restaurant in my opinion! I gave my first ever 5-star rating on Tabelog for this place haha. The hot charcoal grill allows you to cook incredibly delicious and tender meat, and the seating is spacious and comfortable, the place is clean and amazing! There are about 5 course options, and since it was my first time, I ordered a set menu for around 5,000 yen. But if you're going to this restaurant, I highly recommend choosing this set menu! There were different types of meat like Nakaochi, Sakibara, Sirloin, and other meats I haven't tried before, but they were all tender and delicious! The staff were efficient and friendly. I will definitely go back!

This yakiniku restaurant is delicious from start to finish. It's truly exceptional. Yakiniku Bokuya Nippori branch serves delicious meat, namul, and cold noodles. The cold noodles are a must-try, so be careful not to overeat (especially for those in their 40s with limited stomach capacity). The recommended cold noodles are the Morioka-style hand-pulled cold noodles: - Large size: 1,430 yen - Regular size: 1,100 yen - Small size: 770 yen The noodles have a strong texture, flavorful soup, and special kimchi, making it a satisfying dish after yakiniku. I personally like to add plenty of vinegar instead of kimchi. Even the small size portion is generous, so be prepared. The meat, especially the thick-cut special tongue, is a great choice. I prefer to order it with fresh lemon and a side of green onions. Despite various recent unpleasant experiences (dealing with a rebellious child in their teenage years...), moments like these bring me back to life. Tongue is justice! And the special tongue is delicious! I usually order the "Bokuya Assorted Cuts [4 types]" with one cut per person to also enjoy some hormone. Grilling the hormone on the tabletop stove is a delight! I always leave Bokuya feeling satisfied, even though I tend to overeat every time... But no regrets!

I visited the restaurant on Sunday at 7:00 PM after making a reservation. The place was fully booked, and without a reservation, the wait time for a table was around an hour. The restaurant has storage space under the seats, so you can store items that you don't want to smell. I ordered the meat set with four varieties of meat, napa cabbage kimchi, chorogi salad, and cold noodles. There are many different types of sauces for the meat, which makes choosing fun. I had ordered individual pieces of meat on a previous visit, but the meat set was much more delicious, so I recommend getting the set. I remember seeing on a daytime TV show that the meat set was recommended at this restaurant. The cold noodles come with all-you-can-eat kimchi. It seems like this restaurant has many events because on this day, they had games like "Chinchirorin" and "Garagara," and you could order a lemon sour at double the normal amount for double the price, and I also received a drink ticket. I will definitely visit again.

I visited "Yakiniku Bokuya Nippori Branch" around 7 pm on a certain day in March 2023. The restaurant is located about a 2-minute walk from Nippori Station. The small dining area was almost full with customers. After informing them of my reservation, I was made to wait for almost 10 minutes before being seated. We sat at a table for 2 and started with a toast of "Super Dry (draft beer)" for ¥630. We enjoyed the fresh cabbage kimchi (Kkotcholli) for ¥480, which had a nice combination of crisp cabbage and a sweet sauce. The spiciness was not too strong, making it a delicious appetizer. We also had a generous plate of fresh green onions for ¥400, which paired well with the meat. The highlight was the Maru Toka 4 kinds platter for ¥4,480, which included various cuts of beef with different sauces. The meat was thinly sliced and packed with flavor. We also tried the "Raw Beef Sear (Yukke-style)" for ¥1,280 and the "Top Skirt" for ¥980, both of which were delicious. Overall, "Bokuya" offers a good value for money with its meat quality and variety of dishes. The hospitality may be average, but the taste of the meat makes up for it. It's a convenient and enjoyable yakiniku restaurant near the station.

I ordered the year-end and New Year course at a cost-effective yakiniku restaurant with high satisfaction. The course started with delicious meat soup and offered plenty of high-quality meat to enjoy. The quality of the meat was outstanding, especially the beautifully marbled meat was exquisite. The special sesame and green onion sauce was delicious.

Today, I had yakiniku again! The sirloin is the best, with no greasy feeling and it disappears as soon as you eat it. Everyone enjoyed the sirloin without any complaints. After that, I ate a lot of zosui. Thank you for the delicious meal!

We had lunch with our family at the Bokke restaurant in Nippori, about a 5-minute walk from Nippori Station. We ordered haneshita, special kalbi, special harami, tongue with salt, top mino, negi sashimi, and Morioka-style hand-pulled cold noodles. All the meat dishes were ordered with salt and had a good amount of fat, making them delicious when eaten with wasabi and salt. The cold noodles were chewy and had a refreshing texture, making them very tasty. We enjoyed our meal today as well.

I visited the "Yakiniku Bokuya Nippori" in Nippori for the first time. It was just before 8:30 PM. We ordered what you see in the photo. By the way, I had 3 glasses of draft beer, and my friend had 2. The course in the photo was quite interesting and of good quality. It was just right for two people to share. The sushi was also nice. We devoured it all. Ah, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back here from time to time.

"Tokyo Arakawa-ku" About a 3-minute walk from JR Nippori Station, you can enjoy high-quality courses at the yakiniku restaurant "Yakiniku Bokuya Nippori Store" [Visited on March 14, 2020]. This day, we were treated to a feast! I rarely eat yakiniku, so I'm excited! We ordered the "5000 yen course with all-you-can-drink" which was of high quality. It's not a lot in terms of quantity, but it's delicious. I was captivated by the first dish - seared sirloin hand roll. It had a fluffy texture and a melt-in-your-mouth taste. So delicious! The rare cuts of meat that followed - tomobara, shikimibara, uchibara... not names you hear often, but as long as they're tasty, that's what matters. Each cut comes with a recommended sauce, showing the attention to detail at this restaurant. The cold noodles served as a palate cleanser were also delicious. They had a great elasticity and texture. I wish I could eat more considering the portion size, but in terms of taste, I am satisfied. Thank you for the meal!"

My partner really wanted to eat yakiniku, so we visited this restaurant that was right in front of us. We were asked if we had a reservation. We said no reservation, and they checked the reservation status on a tablet and said it was okay for 30 minutes. We still entered. My partner really loves yakiniku and horumon. The small interior of the restaurant had the kitchen on the left as soon as you entered, with two-person tables opposite it and a narrow aisle. Towards the back, there were 5 tables for 4-6 people each. We were short on time, so my partner quickly placed an order. Horumon, liver, beef tendon... rice, and wakame soup. Wait a minute! I can't eat horumon... I asked for some kalbi to be added. The dishes were brought to us. Wow, it's horumon... The kalbi had beautifully marbled fat and was very delicious. We quickly started grilling the dishes on the shichirin. The flames were blazing. The kalbi was sweet and delicious! The melting fat was exquisite!!! I wanted to have more, but we ran out of time... Oh, the wakame soup, was the wakame blended in a mixer? There was no original shape. It tasted like aosa soup. It had a strong taste of seaweed, but it was still delicious. My partner put horumon and liver on my plate (even though I didn't want it...). I topped it with plenty of wasabi from the table and had it. It was still too much for me. The kalbi was really delicious. Next time, I want to make a reservation and have a leisurely meal with my usual partner in crime. Thank you for the meal.

On October 30, 2019 (Wednesday), I returned from Ibaraki to Tokyo and decided to go for yakiniku. I tried to go to Uguisudani-en without a reservation, but couldn't get in. Since it was too much trouble to move one station by train, I walked to Nippori. I heard there was delicious and reasonably priced yakiniku there. I also went without a reservation, but luckily got a table as they were just switching customers. We ordered the 6 kinds of assorted meats for 5,580 yen. Then we had Marunaga Kalbi and Nakao, and couldn't resist ordering rice as well because we were so hungry. As expected, we got full quickly and ended up eating only a moderate amount of meat. It cost us 13,000 yen for three people, which was not bad. The taste was decent, so I think it was pretty good overall. Since we were so full, we couldn't try the seared large-sized yukhoe, so we promised to come back next time to try it.

It's a fiercely competitive area for yakiniku in Nishi-Nippori to Nippori, with 14 or 15 stores in the vicinity. I've been to most of the shops, but my husband seems to like this one the third best. The interior is somewhat compact but the cheerful and lively staff make it a pleasant atmosphere. This is a yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy the melting fat. They recommend eating with salt instead of sauce. When you order with salt, you will be served with various colored sauces such as brown, black, and mimosa, so please enjoy them. Oh, a word from a housewife... When eating yakiniku with salt, instead of sprinkling salt on the meat while grilling, I would like you to rub the salt on the meat just before grilling. The effect of salt before grilling and after grilling is completely different, so if possible, rub the salt just before grilling. By mixing the salt with the meat, it brings out a sweet voice and the meat tightens up, locking in the umami flavor. You must like it when the meat tightens up, right?

They serve delicious meat! I had been ordering the special assorted platter recently, but this time I decided to try the house assorted platter! I went with someone who likes to eat a lot, so we opted for the larger portion. We ordered the portion for 4-5 people, but the taste and quantity were perfect! For those of us who are starting to prefer leaner meat, the mix of lean and fatty meat in this platter was just right! We also used a coupon to get a kimchi assortment for free! The only downside was that you have to print out the coupon.

Whenever I meet a certain friend, we always end up at a restaurant in Nippori/Nishi-Nippori because I'm not very familiar with the area. I leave it up to my friend to choose, and we usually end up at this place. The food is delicious, so it's not a problem, but this time we ordered: - Prime Kalbi for 1580 yen - Prime Loins for 1480 yen - Prime Harami for 1580 yen. I feel like we always order the same thing, but this time the Loins were the most delicious. I like the lean taste of the Harami, but I somehow feel like it would be tastier with a bit more fat.

The meat was reasonably priced, high quality, and delicious! I especially liked eating it with grated sauce. One thing that surprised me was that the noodles in the cold noodles were quite firm. I always order cold noodles when I go to a yakiniku restaurant, but this was the first time I had such firm noodles. (It seems like they specialize in hand-made cold noodles, so I think this firmness is intentional.) One disappointing aspect was that I arrived right at the 5:00 opening time, and when I ordered matcha almond jelly around 6:30, I was told, "We're sold out of matcha today," so I ended up ordering plain almond jelly. However, after ordering, they told me, "The plain almond jelly hasn't set yet, so we can't serve it." I wanted something sweet after the meal, and since the only dessert options were matcha and plain almond jelly, it was disappointing...

Great taste, friendly staff! That's already amazing, but the only downside is the cost... The 4 kinds of rare cuts platter for 4980 yen was really delicious, but if they could lower the price a bit, I would want to come back more often.
