I revisited Instagram in March 2023, https://www.instagram.com/xiaoshan7910/?hl=ja, thank you for your continued support! After a year, I went back to the hotel and took the elevator to the 39th floor lobby, where I visited 'THE LOUNGE.' The lounge is described as a refined space that expresses Japan's tranquility, offering a view of the Imperial Palace and the best time for guests to enjoy. I was seated at a table and ordered the seasonal parfait for 5,200 yen (including service charge). The parfait, created by Executive Pastry Chef Aoki Yusuke, was a photogenic and elegant deep red creation with various components such as raspberry coulis, sugar tuile, Italian meringue, yuzu lemon tart, sablé, raspberry, grapefruit rosemary compote, strawberry and basil sorbet, Greek yogurt sorbet, raspberry sauce, almond crumble, rhubarb compote, rhubarb confiture, verbena jelly, pistachio crème pâtissière, and fromage blanc cream. Each element had a unique texture and flavor, making it a top-notch dessert. The combination of flavors, especially the basil sorbet and the rhubarb, stood out and made the parfait a delightful experience. The use of rhubarb added a distinct presence to the dessert. I look forward to trying more of Chef Aoki's creations in the future!

Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel Otemachi. I made a reservation through Ikyu for a free-flow aperitivo plan. The amount of food was light as it was an aperitivo, but you could add more from the regular menu, which was nice. The view was incredible. Before sunset, Mount Fuji was visible. The staff were attentive, and there was live guitar music, which made for a very satisfying experience!

I visited the Mango Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Otemachi. I applied for the Cartier event at Four Seasons but didn't win. I still reserved the Afternoon Tea, which turned out to be a great deal with a 20% discount through a special plan. The savory and sweet items were all mango-themed, and I especially enjoyed the mango parfait and mango tart. The scones with mango jam were also delicious. The drink selection was great, and I tried various mocktails. Overall, it was a satisfying Afternoon Tea experience. Looking forward to trying the Shine Muscat theme next month! #AfternoonTea #HotelLounge #SoloDining #MangoLover #FourSeasonsOtemachi #MangoAfternoonTea

I received an afternoon tea as a birthday celebration. It was a mango-themed afternoon tea, all of which were delicious and just the right amount. The mocktails were especially refreshing, perfect for the hot summer. The lounge had a nice open atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing time. I was very satisfied.

After a long time, I went to have afternoon tea. The theme for the day was mango. The Parmesan panna cotta salad in the savory section was delicious. In the sweets section, the mango pudding was very tasty. There were also various drinks to enjoy.

This hotel is my favorite, and I have used their afternoon tea several times. This time, I tried the melon afternoon tea. The scones were melon bread style, fluffy and chewy, which was impressive. I also added my usual truffle potatoes a la carte.

I had afternoon tea at the lounge on the lobby floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Otemachi. On a sunny day, you can enjoy the view of Mount Fuji, creating a lovely and open atmosphere. All the restaurants in this hotel are child-friendly, with spacious seating arrangements that make it comfortable to dine. The drink selection is great with a variety of options available through a cup service, and the speed of service from ordering to delivery is notably fast compared to other hotel lounges. There is also a focus on Japanese flavors in the drinks. The Melon Afternoon Tea I had included one type of scone and melon bread. While I preferred the scone over the melon bread, everything else was consistently delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Melon Afternoon Tea was fantastic. The savory dish with foie gras confit was the best, and the dessert, like a parfait, was also excellent. We were served warm scones and melon bread as well. The presentation of each dish was meticulous, and the view was great, making for a truly elegant and enjoyable time.

This is a cafe located within the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi. A friend highly recommended it, so I visited for the first time and tried the Melon Afternoon Tea available from May onwards. From start to finish, it was like Disneyland in my mouth! The flavors were interesting and delicate, like high-end French cuisine. You can encounter flavors like Melon x Dill, Melon x Basil that you've never experienced before. Everything was delicious, but my favorites were: - Foie Gras Confit: A cute tart with smooth, high-quality foie gras and a perfect match of maple sweetness. Tastes like an amuse-bouche from a high-end French restaurant. - Cream Cheese Mousse: The contrast between the crispy chocolate on the surface and the soft mousse inside was excellent. - Melon Tart: The tart base was deliciously crispy, and you can feel the natural sweetness of the melon. - Coconut Mousse and Melon Jelly: Make sure to have it in one bite! It's tropical with plenty of sweet melon jelly inside. - Basil Pound Cake: The combination of basil and melon was shocking. It enhances the sweetness of the melon with a refreshing flavor. - Melon Bread/Scone: Found my ideal melon bread, with a moderately sweet and crispy cookie dough. The bottom dough was baked crispy and the inside had a chewy layered texture. The drinks were my favorite among all the afternoon teas I've tried so far. The mocktail was perfectly crafted and tasted like it would cost 1,500 yen per glass. The Floral Ginger had a prominent sweetness similar to elderflower muscat. On the other hand, the Botanical Garden had a subtle sweetness in the refreshing taste of green tea. The herbal tea was also delicious. The cafe is located on the 39th floor of the hotel. The contrast of the Imperial Palace and the sky, greenery, and blue was a beautiful view when getting off the elevator. There are regular table seats and sofa seats. I chose the sofa seat, which felt more luxurious than the table seat. The only downside was that the service staff didn't pay much attention and a few times the drinks ran out. The restroom design in the hotel is always something I enjoy, and it was sparkling and luxurious, like a photo spot. I would like to visit every season. Highly recommended even for those who are not fond of sweet treats. Menu on the day: Melon Afternoon Tea - 8,800 yen - Drinks: Floral Ginger, Sunny Tea Aid Botanical Garden - Savory: Pork Ham and Cucumber/Melon Puree Sandwich, Foie Gras Confit/Maple Cream and Melon Tartlet, Zucchini Flan/Melon Coulis and Ricotta Cheese/Dill and Mint Oil, Melon Gazpacho and Tomato Mousse/Marinated Squid/Crispy Quinoa, Smoked Salmon Rillettes and Spinach/Cherry and Sour Cream - Sweets: Melon and Citrus Opera/Orange Passion Cream, Cream Cheese Mousse/Red Melon Confiture, Melon Tart/Custard Cream, Coconut Mousse and Melon Jelly/Dried Coconut, Basil Pound Cake/Vanilla Cream and Pistachio/Melon Confit, Melon Shortcake/Apple Sauce/Melon Custard and Chantilly Cream, Melon and Strawberry Vacherin/Vanilla Cream and Dried Raspberries, Refreshing Red Melon, Scones: Raisin Scone, Melon Bread, Clotted Cream/Lemon Jam/Raspberry Jam [Opening Hours] 11:00- / 13:30- / 16:00- [Closed] None [Reservation] Required [Budget] Up to 10,000 yen [Address] 1-2-1 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo Thank you for reading until the end. If you liked the post, I would be happy if you could like and follow me! I post gourmet content every day on Instagram. I would be grateful if you could check it out: @mogu.gourmet

I visited the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi for afternoon tea at the lounge. I love cherry blossom sweets, so I revisited in April when they were offering a cherry blossom afternoon tea. You can make reservations through the Ikkyu Restaurant website. The cherry blossom afternoon tea on weekends and holidays includes a welcome drink (with or without sparkling wine) and costs 10,800 yen including tax, which is similar to the price of a French lunch. However, the afternoon tea here has a good variety of savory items, almost like appetizers in a French meal, so it can be a sufficient meal replacement. Since I had a 4:00 pm reservation, I skipped lunch and just had one arancini. There are standard drink options as well as a tea menu in collaboration with SABOE. I love HIGASHIYA tea, so I was happy to see SABOE tea available. In April, you can enjoy the refreshing blend tea called "SOU" (a blend of green tea with lemon balm and lemongrass) from HIGASHIYA. I loved this tea so much that I had a second cup. The afternoon tea is on the pricier side, but it is definitely worth it! I plan to revisit when they have a theme that interests me.

I visited "THE LOUNGE" on the 39th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, directly connected to exits C4 and C5 of Otemachi Station. The view from the glass walls overlooking the Imperial Palace and on clear days, even Mount Fuji, is breathtaking. I tried the seasonal parfait for April, featuring rhubarb, pistachio, lemon, and tart. The parfait was beautifully presented with various components like raspberry coulis, tuile, Italian meringue, yuzu lemon tart, sablé, raspberry, grapefruit rosemary compote, strawberry basil sorbet, Greek yogurt sorbet, raspberry sauce, almond crumble, rhubarb compote, rhubarb confiture, verbena jelly, pistachio pastry cream, and fromage blanc cream. The rhubarb added a crispy texture and a refreshing touch. As expected, Chef Aoki's creations were delicious and delightful.

I was originally planning to go on a trip to Taiwan this month and had taken time off for it, but the doctor told me that X-rays are not safe during pregnancy, so I decided to relax and spend time in Tokyo instead. My husband and I were looking at an afternoon tea special feature and made a reservation for this place that caught our attention the most. When I called to confirm some details, the staff was very friendly and made me feel at ease, so I was looking forward to this day. The hotel was decorated with cherry blossoms, which was lovely! The chocolate afternoon tea had delicious savory and sweet treats, and we were both very satisfied. We couldn't finish all the scones, but we loved the moist texture, which is our favorite type. The mocktail with honey and ginger had a delicious aroma and flavor, and the herbal teas with flavors like black letter and red shiso that we don't usually see were enjoyable. My favorites were the Earl Grey and berry mousse cake, and the lobster marinated in bisque cream with cocoa shortbread, which had a light texture that I liked. I was also happy that we were seated on a sofa with a great view. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I ordered the Berry Choco Punch afternoon tea, which is chocolate-themed. It was delicious and satisfying, with a cute name like "Manny Poco Pants." The course included three types of appetizers, three types of meat, and then cake. I was so full and it was amazing!

The scenery was beautiful and perfect for a stylish girls' gathering. We used it for afternoon tea, and it was strawberry season, so the presentation was cute. The original drinks, both hot and cold, were delicious. Freshly baked scones were served later with three types of jam, and the royal jam was especially tasty. Although the price was a bit high, it was worth it for a satisfying afternoon tea experience.

I often crave sweets and end up making a reservation for afternoon tea. I go to the lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, where you can enjoy a luxurious afternoon tea experience. It's quite pricey at around 10,000 yen, but they use high-quality ingredients like foie gras and offer a wide variety of drinks. You can't make a reservation through Tabelog, but you can through Ikkyu Restaurant. Not every day is available, but there are days when you can make a reservation for one person. The photo is from my visit in January, during the Strawberry Afternoon Tea. Every item, from scones to desserts, is delicious and meticulously prepared. Perfect for those who like to try a little bit of everything. The theme of the afternoon tea changes with the seasons, with Chocolate Afternoon Tea in February-March and Sakura Afternoon Tea in April. I love sakura sweets, so I've already made a reservation for Sakura Afternoon Tea!

I had a mini afternoon tea set. The first photo shows the sweets and drinks, all-you-can-drink, for 5500 yen per person (the photo shows servings for 2 people). The Mont Blanc had a crispy meringue base, providing a fun texture. The financiers had a buttery aroma that wafted through the air. The duck dish combined the richness of duck with the freshness of muscat grapes, all brought together nicely by the pumpkin paste. Each item had a unique flavor, despite their similar appearances, and all were delicious. Enjoying these tasty treats and tea in a beautiful setting made for a lovely overall experience.

I used the happy hour from 6:30 pm. The restaurant is usually full even on weekdays during the day, but it's quiet on weekend nights. The night view and live guitar performance create a nice atmosphere. The course includes a choice of two drinks. I also ordered the Wagyu beef burger and a lovely dessert plate separately. I've tried high-end burgers at various luxury hotels, but personally, this one ranks in the top three in Tokyo! The buns are fluffy but also moist and slightly chewy. The Wagyu beef is juicy and flavorful. The American-style burger with mustard and spices is delicious. The dessert did not disappoint either (thanks to Chef Aoki!). I forgot to take a photo, but the citrusy and moist financier was particularly tasty. It seems they also offer dinner at night, which is another attractive feature. I will definitely come back for a full meal next time!

In Tokyo, where the self-restraint due to the coronavirus has mostly been lifted and many foreign visitors can be seen, it's still a bit challenging. Today, I made a reservation to have afternoon tea at this hotel in Otemachi and went there. Taking the direct elevator to the 39th floor, I arrived at the lounge with a view of the Budokan arena below. I ordered the Shine Muscat afternoon tea. The weather was nice today and the view was beautiful. The lounge isn't very large, but there is enough space to relax. The afternoon tea selection isn't extensive, but each item is satisfying and enjoyable. The sweets, in particular, were delicious - Mont Blanc, caramel mousse, walnut cake, all were tasty. It was nice to be able to choose the cup and pot for the tea. The scones were also large and filling. The service was good with many foreign staff members who were smart and efficient. I had mentioned my dislikes in advance, but there was a mix-up and the wrong item was served. The staff quickly corrected the mistake, but I felt bad for causing them trouble. I received a souvenir on my way out, which was very much appreciated. Overall, I had a great time and was impressed by the level of service at the hotel.

I don't usually use afternoon tea at this price, but I visited for my mother's birthday. Everything was delicious. The weather was nice, and the view was very open and enjoyable for a girls' gathering. We enjoyed all the original teas here. The subtle sweetness was also good. It's nice to have such a luxurious time once in a while. The only thing is that it was difficult to get someone's attention when we wanted a refill of tea. I wish they would be a bit more attentive.

The muscat parfait was irresistible for grape lovers! Especially the Kyoho grape sorbet (not visible), muscat, coconut meringue, and honey sorbet were delicious. The overall taste was filled with grape flavor. I enjoyed it more than last year's muscat afternoon tea, with a satisfying grape sensation! I had always wanted to try the parfait here, so I was happy to finally go! Recently, there are many parfaits combining fruits and vegetables, but I prefer the classic type with various fruits and layers of sorbet and jelly without much whipped cream. It's my favorite type of parfait. I want to go again when my favorite fruits are in season! I also tried a bit of the mango afternoon tea my mother had, but I love the savory items and elaborate scones in their afternoon tea!
