The restaurant had a few empty seats and no line. I was quickly seated and decided to try the limited menu item, the teriyaki minced chicken bento, at the Tenjin store. Originally meant for takeout, it became a popular limited menu item available for dining in. The bento had three beautiful colors with green shishito peppers as a nice accent. It also came with chicken soup and pickles. The hot chicken soup had a smooth texture and rich flavor, maybe from collagen. A thin film formed on the surface of the soup. The teriyaki minced chicken was moist and tender, easy to eat with chopsticks. There were about 4 pieces of teriyaki chicken, which I found to be a sufficient amount. The chewy teriyaki chicken, when paired with the rice and shredded omelette, created a nice balance. You could also add some spice with the table shichimi and sansho peppers, but the shishito peppers provided a more impactful spiciness.

At noon, on my way back from the bank, I was craving eggs so I couldn't decide between omurice and oyakodon, but then I found it! Rice porridge at a sukiyaki restaurant. I couldn't resist and went in. Despite coming for egg dishes, I changed my mind before entering and had the rice porridge instead. It came with pickles, sesame tofu, and chicken soup. The porridge was light and not too salty, with a perfect match with the pickles and side dishes. Even when I added a little salt, it was delicious! The amount of rice was generous and tasty. The egg yolk was cooked just right. I'm sure I'll crave this again. Thank you for the meal!

I had never had delicious water hot pot at a restaurant before, but it was so delicious that it changed my concept of water hot pot. The soup, which condensed the umami of the chicken, was truly amazing when I added a little salt and drank it. The soup rice for finishing the meal was also delicious.

Located a 2-minute walk from Tenjin Parco, this place is a hidden gem. It's great that you can avoid getting wet in the rain by entering from the underground. It's not too crowded, which is a plus. The yakitori bowl is delicious, and the chicken soup, although a bit heavy for my taste, is tasty with its rich and cloudy broth.

As it is an office building, I lined up around 12:00 on a weekday. However, there are many seats and the turnover is fast, so there is not much waiting in reality. The service is also fast, so it's good not to give up just because there is a line. It's always satisfying to come here for lunch with consistently delicious food.

I used it to invite people coming to Fukuoka for a trip. It was Friday night and as expected, it was full. I'm glad I made a reservation in advance. I chose the simplest course, but it was quite filling. Each dish was carefully prepared. The service was also elegant and polite like an established restaurant. My companion was also satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat oyakodon, so I went for lunch. I waited a little bit, but was able to get in fairly smoothly. The taste was not too sweet and rather light. The chicken soup was also hot and delicious. I was greedy and had the large serving, but regretted it because there was too much rice.

My friend made a reservation at a famous water hot pot restaurant. Thanks to the reservation, we were able to get in right when they opened, but there was a constant line of people waiting outside. The staff were very kind and attentive, which alone made ordering the course worth it. The water hot pot was amazing - you can really taste the broth in every sip. The appetizers were also excellent. Overall, this restaurant is top-notch.

I visited Fukuoka for the first time with my daughter in her 20s during the second half of the Obon holiday from Tokyo. We wanted to try Mizutaki for sure! So on the second day, before heading to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, we went to Shin Miura, which had a good reputation. We were aiming for the Mizutaki set meal, but it seemed like we could only order a course meal with a reservation, so we decided to visit directly. We arrived a little before the opening time, and there was already a line of customers entering one after another. We were able to get in on the first round, and we ordered the long-awaited Mizutaki set meal and beer. The milky soup with tender chicken meat, dipped in ponzu sauce, was very delicious. Finally, we poured rice into the remaining soup. It was also delicious! The soup was not at all heavy, and I drank it all up in no time. Well, when I returned to Tokyo, I suddenly realized something. "Did I eat the sesame tofu that came with the Mizutaki set meal?" I love sesame tofu, and I was looking forward to it with the Mizutaki set meal. Excitedly, did I forget to eat it or was it not served? I looked back at the photos, and indeed, it was not there. I also remembered that there was a small dish of konjac. I must have missed the sesame tofu that day! I laughed when I realized it after returning home. If I have the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely like to try the Mizutaki set meal with sesame tofu next time. Thank you for the meal~

I am very satisfied! I ordered the hot pot course and everything, from the side dishes to the hot pot, was delicious. It was one of the best dishes I have had in Fukuoka. I was very full, but couldn't resist ordering the oyakodon as well. Despite being full, I couldn't help but want to keep eating because the dishes were so appealing. I would definitely want to visit again when I go to Fukuoka.

Visited during a business trip to Fukuoka. Searched for a place to eat water hot pot and found this restaurant where you can easily have it for lunch. The bone-in chicken floating in the pure white soup looked amazing. I usually make chicken hot pot at home with kelp broth, but there's something special about chicken cooked in chicken broth. There was a separate soup for drinking in a small cup, but I ended up finishing the soup in the pot as well. Although it was a bit pricey, it was a very satisfying lunch experience.

I came back again within a week. This time, the soup was even better than before, with a chicken bone base that was rich and creamy. I noticed for the second time that the sesame tofu here is amazing and just to my liking!

I saw a post from someone I follow and found a restaurant that I really wanted to try. The atmosphere is completely different from the main store, but it's perfect for when I want a slightly healthy lunch in Tenjin. I finished off my meal by pouring the cloudy soup over the leftover rice and enjoying it with pickles. It was really delicious.

I had never tried Mizutaki before, but I went to this restaurant while sightseeing. It was healthy and the chicken was really delicious. The next day, my skin felt smoother. The staff at the restaurant were all very kind and it was a lovely place. The Oyakodon was also excellent. It's not easy to find in Sapporo, so I will look for it and go back again.

When I casually mentioned that I wanted to go to Lunch Shinmiura at Tenjin, surprisingly they were open to the idea. Looking at the menu, I saw they had a Chicken Hot Pot Set for 2500 yen. Feeling a bit hesitant, I suggested trying something else, but the response was firm, "If you want to eat the hot pot, then brace yourself!" So, we went all out and ordered the Chicken Hot Pot Set for lunch! And of course, the boss generously shared some of his food with me, which was much appreciated. We were seated in a private room on a raised tatami floor, which was a nice touch. First, we had the soup, which was rich and flavorful. The side dishes of sesame tofu and simmered vegetables were delicate and delicious. And then, the main event, the Chicken Hot Pot! The chicken was tender and melted in your mouth, especially when dipped in ponzu sauce. Surprisingly, there was a generous amount of chicken in the pot. Adding some yuzu pepper for extra flavor was the perfect touch. To finish off the meal, we had a delicious rice soup. One bowl of rice was free for refills, and mixing it with the soup was incredibly tasty. We left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal! On a side note, it was my first time having Chicken Hot Pot, and even the boss seemed pleased. Although he initially ignored the rice, once it was turned into rice soup, he couldn't stop eating.

I ordered a 3900 yen course and the vinegar dish, chicken ham, and chicken soup at the beginning were all delicious! Despite feeling bloated from eating late-night ramen the night before, I couldn't resist eating it. Be careful not to put too much yuzu pepper in the pot as it is spicy! It tastes better with salt added! I was too full to finish the porridge, but it was delicious! I want to eat it again.

It's been a while since I visited my favorite restaurant, Sanmiura, where I have been going for years. Recently, there has always been a long line so I avoided it, but today I happened to arrive when the line was gone. As soon as I wrote my name down, I was called and guided to the back room. I ordered my usual "oyakodon," which is probably ordered by more than half of the customers, as it is a popular menu item. It's been a while since I last came, and the price has finally reached 1000 yen! The cost of eggs has gone up, but the taste is exceptional, so I understand. During lunchtime, there are more people having chicken hot pot and beer! Beer tastes great in this heat, right? I wanted to have a drink too, but unfortunately, I had a busy schedule afterwards, so I only had the oyakodon. After a short wait, it was brought to me. Yes, it looks beautiful as always! I'll start by breaking the egg yolk. I try to replicate this style at home, but the rich egg yolk and the umami of the broth make it so enjoyable. The soup is piping hot, which is tough for someone with a sensitive tongue like me. When it cooled down a bit, there was a layer of collagen on top, which seems good for the skin. It was a delicious lunch today too. Next time, I'll definitely have the chicken hot pot and beer! I'll visit again, thank you for the meal!

After a long time, I had a solo lunch ❤️ I was torn between the popular oyakodon and something else, but I went with the sukiyaki and it was amazing ❤️ The soup was unbelievably delicious! I've tried various sukiyaki before, but this old-established place is my favorite. I'm so glad to be alive. I'll definitely come back here after working hard!

I lived in Fukuoka for 28 years and probably never tried Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) before. I often heard that Mizutaki in Fukuoka is delicious when living in Tokyo, so I decided to go try it despite the hot weather. I went to Shinmiura in the Tenjin area, which had good reviews for their Plum course priced at 3,900 yen. The course included appetizers, salad, and Mizutaki, a simple course. The staff kindly taught me how to eat Mizutaki, so even as a beginner, I felt comfortable trying it! I learned that you start by eating the chicken in Mizutaki. I always thought Mizutaki was expensive and never tried it, but in reality, it's not that bad in terms of cost performance. Among them, Shinmiura offers Mizutaki at a reasonable price, so I recommend it.

Searched for Hakata Oyakodon and went to this restaurant. Had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table during lunchtime. Ordered the regular Oyakodon (1000 yen). They accept electronic payments. The Oyakodon was made with fresh local chicken that had a nice texture. The egg was so rich that it felt like they used a lot. However, I didn't really taste the deliciousness of the broth or anything like that. The accompanying soup seemed to be for Mizutaki, so it didn't have much flavor before adding the ingredients. I guess I had too high expectations for an amazing Oyakodon.
