The restaurant is located in a quiet area a short walk from the station. It is recommended to make a reservation as most of the seats were taken. We ordered the grilled motsu nabe with miso and soy sauce (around 2000 yen for 2 people), beef tataki, horse meat yukhoe, and rice and thick noodles for the finish. The flavors were rich and delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and meatiness in the tataki and yukhoe. The motsu nabe was very flavorful with a strong sweetness, and the grilled aroma and taste were excellent. The cabbage was also very sweet and delicious, making us want to order more. We enjoyed beer and sweet potato shochu as drinks. Overall, we were impressed by the delicious motsu nabe and would love to visit again next time we are in Fukuoka.

This was my first time trying motsunabe at a motsunabe restaurant. I had always avoided it before because I had a smelly and dirty image of it, but this restaurant was clean and modern. There were many autographs of famous people displayed, showing how popular it is. The dishes other than motsunabe were also very delicious, and I was quite satisfied before the motsunabe arrived. In particular, the salad topped with vegetable pickles was unusually tasty. I ordered the classic soy sauce flavored motsunabe, which was refreshing and easy to eat. I wish there was a bit more motsu in it. I should have ordered extra.

In the midst of the summer heat in August, I stayed in Fukuoka for the first time in a while and decided to have dinner with motsunabe, of course! I came across the mention of seared motsu during my search and decided to make a reservation and visit on the same day. It was still early, but about half of the customers were already there, most of them enjoying motsunabe. We had the option to choose between shoyu, miso, or a mix for the broth, and since it was my first time, I chose shoyu for a lighter taste. The seared motsu was indeed seared before being added to the pot, giving it a slightly charred flavor and a chewy texture that complemented the rich flavor of the motsu. It was fresh and delicious. The other dishes we ordered were also tasty and satisfying. When we entered, the air conditioning was blasting and it was freezing, but once the pots started boiling, it became just right. If you're not afraid of garlic, I recommend adding extra garlic when you order more motsunabe. It was so delicious that I ended up adding a lot of garlic! In fact, I could live off this garlic and rice forever! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

A popular motsunabe (tripe hot pot) restaurant located a short 10-minute walk from Nakasu near Canal City. It's a bit away from the bustling downtown area, so the surroundings are quiet. The restaurant itself is not very big, but the seating is spaced out well, so even when it's full, you can enjoy your meal without being bothered by others. The atmosphere is cozy and the prices are reasonable. There are not many loud, young customers, making it a comfortable place to dine. We ordered the seared motsunabe, choosing both miso and soy sauce flavors. The clear soy sauce was light and tasty, but personally, I recommend the rich miso flavor. The sesame amberjack was average, but the horse sashimi was authentic. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

This restaurant serves grilled motsu nabe (offal hot pot). I have tried various motsu nabe restaurants, but I think this one is the most delicious. Whenever I visit Hakata, I always come back here or recommend it to others. They usually serve the dish starting from two portions, but when I went alone and ordered, they served me just one portion. The grilled motsu nabe is unique and definitely worth trying.

Fukuoka's popular motsunabe restaurant ✨✨ Motsu-nabe Ikkei, where many celebrities visit and has been featured in the media! They offer a specialty seared motsu-nabe that is worth a visit! I was recommended to visit here by the owner of the Tokyo charcoal-grilled meat restaurant Nakahara, so I decided to visit during my trip ☺️
- Vinegared motsu
- Beef liver foie gras sashimi
- Horse meat yukhoe
- Seared motsu-nabe (for 2 people)
- Champon noodles
- Mentaiko takana rice
They offer three types of broth: soy sauce, miso, and combined. The soy sauce broth is the most popular, with a refreshing flavor that complements the crispy vegetables, garlic slices, and slightly seared motsu perfectly, making it incredibly delicious! This may be the best motsu-nabe I've ever had. The garlic flavor was strong, to the point where the smell even stuck to my underwear (lol), but it was so delicious that I want to go back again. They open from 3 pm, making it perfect for early drinking parties. The restaurant is adorned with many signs, showing how beloved it is by everyone ☺️

Hakata seems to be overwhelmed with tourists, including inbound travelers. The popular motsunabe restaurant I wanted to go to was fully booked, with a 2.5-hour wait for walk-ins. I gave up and called this restaurant, and was able to make a reservation right away! About 15 years ago, this place used to have long lines, so I consider myself lucky. I ordered the grilled motsunabe with soy sauce, and I was very satisfied with the large and plentiful portions of motsu. I wanted to add more dishes, but I restrained myself as I planned to visit a food stall afterwards. I would like to come back here again. Thank you for the meal! ✌️

Located in Fukuoka City, this place is famous for its seared motsunabe (tripe hot pot). I visited at night and tried the 4000 yen course, which came with horse sashimi and mentaiko, making it a good deal. The miso flavor in the seared motsunabe was delicious. Personally, I found that the soy sauce version was not much different from a regular motsunabe. ★ If you could like this post, please follow me as well (^^)

The restaurant has been visited by celebrities like Sanma-san and Matsumoto Hitoshi, and the interior is very clean with a good atmosphere. There are also many autographs from famous people. The motsunabe (tripe hot pot) was delicious and we were able to relax. However, there were few menu options other than motsunabe, so it may be a bit limited for using as an izakaya (Japanese pub).

My younger brother who runs a dairy farm in Hokkaido really wanted to eat motsunabe, so the three brothers and their families visited this restaurant for the second time. The grilled motsunabe here is always delicious as usual. They were satisfied with the thick noodles for the finishing touch, and ended up ordering additional thin noodles. It seems like they really enjoyed it. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Onekei in Fukuoka Haruyoshi is known for its seared motsu nabe (tripe hot pot). They have recently expanded to locations such as Hakata Station. It had been a while since my last visit. I ordered the 3800 yen course. The meal started with horse sashimi and other dishes served all at once. The seared motsu nabe was fragrant, juicy, and absolutely delicious. We finished the meal with champon. Thank you for the feast!

The waitress recommended the soy sauce seared motsu nabe, which was perfect since I had miso motsu nabe the day before. The soy sauce broth was light and refreshing, different from the miso broth. It was delicious in its own way. Maybe because I'm not very experienced with motsu nabe, but everything tasted so good that I couldn't stop smiling. I wonder what kind of delicious food people in Fukuoka eat on a regular basis! I couldn't imagine getting tired of it. I thoroughly enjoyed it until the very end! Oh, as for the difference between seared and regular motsu... I couldn't tell... (bitter smile)

I visited this restaurant for the first time in about 10 years and was surprised to see that the interior had changed! This time, I had the 2500 yen course which included appetizers, Hakata mentaiko, vinegar motsu (offal), soy sauce simmered tebasaki (chicken wings), seared motsu nabe (offal hot pot), and champon as the finishing dish. The highlight here is the seared motsu that is served. It is really delicious! Some may think that motsu is greasy, but I highly recommend trying this flavorful seared motsu nabe. The soy sauce flavored soup is recommended! There are many motsu nabe restaurants in Fukuoka, but personally, Motsu Nabe Ikkyo is one of the top choices for me!

I visited many restaurants in Fukuoka, but when it comes to motsunabe, there really isn't a bad place. I also tried the popular dish "Seared Motsu with Soy Sauce". It was slightly spicy, but the seared motsu was incredibly delicious and unique. They serve one portion per person, which is convenient when dining alone.

I visited a motsunabe restaurant in Hakata with my former colleagues. We have been coming here for over 10 years whenever we visit Hakata. We had the seared motsu nabe, which had a deliciously crispy texture. For the finale, we enjoyed champon noodles. The side dish we had was not sesame-flavored but sesame amberjack. The firm texture of the amberjack and the aroma of sesame were irresistible. We ended up getting three refills. I have another business trip to Hakata next year, so I am looking forward to visiting this restaurant again.

This was my first time dining in Hakata. I asked the hotel staff for recommendations on where to have motsunabe, and this restaurant's name was the first one listed, so I decided to make a reservation there. It seemed to be a popular place. I arrived in Fukuoka in the evening, dropped off my luggage at the hotel, and rushed to the restaurant after stopping by a cake shop. I had to take a taxi to get there on time, as it was located in a narrow alley that I wouldn't have found on my own. The entrance had a great atmosphere. We ordered the recommended soy sauce flavored seared motsunabe for two, along with some appetizers. Everything from the complimentary dish was delicious. The vinegar motsu had the perfect balance, and the chicken wings were tender with just the right sweet and savory seasoning. When the motsunabe was ready, we dug in and it was incredibly delicious! The searing process eliminated any unpleasant odor, and the soup was unbelievably tasty. The thin noodles for the finale were also excellent. This dinner on the first day of my trip set the bar high for the rest of my meals. I'm so glad I was recommended this restaurant. It truly stood out among the many motsunabe places. I had other dishes in mind to try, but I left feeling satisfied after enjoying the main course. I'll have to come back next time to try the dishes I missed out on because I was planning to have ramen afterward!

Located at 2-10-14 Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, this restaurant is a 15-minute walk from Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station on the Nishitetsu line and about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin Minami Station on the subway. It is operated by Nakao Co., Ltd., which has 3 "Motsunabe" restaurants in Fukuoka City and 2 in Tokyo, as well as other establishments such as "Sukiyaki," "Yakiniku," and "Udon Izakaya." The exterior is a one-story house, and the interior has spacious table seating and semi-private table seating. The walls are adorned with autographs and photos of celebrities. We tried the "Course Menu/3500 yen" along with some a la carte items. The course menu includes dishes like "Sumotsu," "Seared Wagyu Beef," "Horse Sashimi," "Simmered Chicken Wings in Soy Sauce," and "Mentaiko." For Motsunabe, you can choose between two types: "Seared Motsunabe" in soy sauce or miso flavor. Both were quite delicious and satisfying. The seared Motsu in the Motsunabe was seared with a burner, giving it a savory and substantial taste. The soy sauce flavor was light and the seared Motsu blended well with the soup, making it highly recommended. While there are many Motsunabe restaurants in Fukuoka, this place stands out as a good option when you're unsure where to go. The seared Motsunabe is a rarity in Fukuoka and definitely worth trying. This is a Motsunabe restaurant that you'll want to visit occasionally. Thank you for the delicious meal. Enjoy Fukuoka Life☆

No smoking. There are ashtrays in front of the store. I made a reservation for the same day! I wanted to try the motsunabe that Mr.Children had eaten, but I ordered soy sauce motsunabe, chicken wings, and mentaiko rice. Of course, it was delicious! The boiled chicken wings were so tender! The staff was kind! People in Hakata provide warm customer service. Thank you for the delicious motsunabe.

I had to go to Fukuoka for work. My schedule was tight, but I had 2 hours before my flight, so I decided to go to a famous motsunabe (tripe hot pot) restaurant. Motsunabe is delicious. It already smells delicious, but this restaurant also serves seared motsu, which adds a flavorful touch. The vegetables in motsunabe are surprisingly delicious.

It was a popular restaurant with many celebrity signatures. We had the seared motsu nabe for ¥1380 and finished two servings for two people in one hour. It wasn't too heavy and the motsu was so delicious that I thought about adding more. I wish we had made a reservation to enjoy our meal more slowly.

Famous motsunabe restaurant's curry! Haruyoshi "Motsunabe Ikei" Haruyoshi's "Motsunabe Ikei" has started serving lunch during the pandemic. It's a bit of news. It's hard to go at night. The interior is surrounded by signatures of famous people. It seems like there are a lot of comedians. I ordered the beef tendon curry. It's a thick curry with a little extra rice. It may not be much for 650 yen, but I hope they do well. Restaurant Information: Motsunabe Ikei 092-731-3999 2-10-14 Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka
