I went to a concert at the Hoshino Hall in Mitaka, where musical actors and a mini orchestra performed. On the way there, I drove through Hitonogai Road and found many nice shops. This is one of the places I discovered on my way there. It was a very luxurious concert, so I was very satisfied and decided to stop by here on my way back. It was past 9 o'clock, but there were quite a few customers. Everyone seemed to be ordering a sashimi platter, but since it was a cold day, we wanted something warm, so we only ordered one type of sashimi. It's a common thing after watching a concert or something similar to feel very hungry, and tend to order too much, and that's what happened this day as well. We ordered: Ankimo with ponzu sauce, Katsuo Yukke, Nagaimo fritters, Kamasu sashimi (seared), Ebi Mayo, and an appetizer. The Buri Daikon had a lot in the bowl, with burdock included, and it had a good taste. The Ankimo had a homemade feel to it, no unpleasant smell, but the taste was lighter than expected. The Katsuo Yukke had a taste that made you want rice, so we ended up ordering some. The Yukke was delicious, but there was a lot of green onions which made it quite strong. The Nagaimo fritters had a junky seasoning but were delicious. The rare Kamasu sashimi was seared and very tender. It was my first time trying it. The Ebi Mayo took a bit long to arrive, and by the time it did, we were already full. It had a soft-boiled egg on top, and it would have been better if they peeled it more carefully. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer good quality food at a reasonable price. The variety of dishes on the menu was impressive. I would definitely visit again, but next time, I'll ask for the green onions to be served on the side.
