Tempura and soba set for 1,200 yen. Arrived at 11 o'clock, already about 10 people waiting. Before 11:30, there were over 20 people waiting. The restaurant opened a little earlier. Tea is self-service. After ordering, the food took a long time to come out, apparently they can only make about 4 servings at a time. Waited for 40 minutes for the food to be served. The soba had a clean appearance with no buckwheat husk, and the noodles had a strong texture, which I personally liked. The tempura had three large pieces (shrimp, squid, asparagus), and there was too much rice for the amount of tempura. Three rice balls were too much. It would be nice if they could soak the rice a bit more in the dipping sauce. Overall, for 1,200 yen, I was satisfied with the meal. I would recommend it, but the slow service was a downside. It took about 1 hour and 30 minutes from lining up to leaving the restaurant, which was tough. Additionally, the fact that the restaurant is only open on weekends is also a downside.

It's a delicious soba restaurant! The noodles have a slight green tint. I ordered the Mori Soba (750 yen) with a large serving for an additional 350 yen. It's not cheap, but it's delicious. I also ordered the Mori Soba and Tempura (800 yen) - unfortunately, they don't have chicken tempura. The soba has a good texture and is easy to swallow. The tempura consisted of two large shrimp tempura. The broth was light and elegant, although I personally prefer it to have more broth considering the price. Most customers were ordering the tempura bowl set or tempura soba. Next time, I might try the tempura rice balls! Thank you for the meal! ✨

I always wanted to go but there was always a long line and the parking lot was always full, so I had to give up. But today, miraculously, there was a parking space available and only one person waiting, so I was able to get in. The tempura set was 1200 yen. Even though just three rice balls would have been satisfying enough, the soba was incredibly delicious. It was the best.

I heard that this soba restaurant was quite challenging, so I decided to visit during Golden Week. I arrived an hour before opening time and was able to secure a parking spot, but there were already customers ahead of me. Thirty minutes before opening, people started lining up, so I joined the queue. As the opening time approached, the line grew longer with customers waiting outside. Popular places like this are best visited early! After a short wait, the visually appealing soba was served. The thin noodles had a strong aroma and flavor, indicating they were skillfully made. The texture was rough, showing that the soba was delicious. The crunchy mountain vegetables paired well with the dipping sauce. Despite being delicious, the prices were reasonable, which may be one of the reasons for its popularity. It was a great experience!

At Ishikura, the soba lunch was incredibly quiet inside the restaurant. Customers were also speaking in low voices. It has an atmosphere where people speak softly. Is it because of the pandemic? Or is it the ambiance created by this restaurant? They create an atmosphere where you can sincerely focus on the soba. I ordered the soba and tempura set. The soba noodles were thin, and despite being in Hakodate, the soba flour was from Higashikagura today. It's still from Hokkaido, so it's fine. It was sharp and delicious. The soba dipping sauce also had a good aroma. It's a well-known restaurant that shows a difference from regular soba shops. The tempura with squid, shrimp, and asparagus was crispy and delicious! It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived just after 11:30 am when the store had just opened, but it was already full. I waited for about 15 minutes before being seated and placing my order, but it took nearly an hour for the food to arrive... I was starving. The tempura in the tendon set was crispy, the rice was a bit small in portion but the sauce was plentiful. The soba noodles were light green and had a good texture. Despite the long wait, I would like to come back again.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a regular day. It's a very popular place, and if you come after 11:30, you might miss out (the next group was refused extra noodles due to running out of soba). The tempura is also delicious, so I wanted to order the Tenzaru, but thinking ahead, I chose the Mori Soba instead. It's thinly cut, but has a nice texture, and the aroma of soba that hits your nose before you even take a bite, along with the slightly spicy dipping sauce, is just to my liking. Another reason I came was for the soba ice cream, which is specially made by Fuji Reikai, a popular ice cream shop in Hakodate. It's really delicious! It's only 300 yen, and I thought it would be a small portion, but they were generous with the serving, more than a cup's worth. The customers were also eating quietly, and the waiting time was peaceful, so in that sense, it's a place where you can feel at ease.

This is in Hakodate. The location is one street away from Hakodate Technical High School, with a few parking spaces in front of the shop and a few more a little further away. It was a weekday lunchtime and I managed to get a seat without waiting, but most of the people already seated hadn't received their food yet. I ordered the Tempura Set (cold), Tamago Toji, and Soba (hot). After about 40 minutes, the Tempura Set arrived first, followed by the Tamago Toji. The Tempura in the Tempura Set was clearly popular, and the Soba was delicious. The pickles were also good. The Tamago Toji Soba had a light broth, and it seemed like the Tempura was the crowd favorite.

Today's lunch was at "Teuchi Soba Ishikura." I had been wanting to visit for a while, but due to their limited hours, I couldn't make it until now. Finally, I had the chance to go before leaving Hakodate. The place was packed, but luckily I found a seat right away. I ordered the "tanuki seiro set" for 950 yen, which came with both cold and hot soba. The soba was thin and green, with a strong texture. The cold dipping sauce was light and slightly salty, while the hot dipping sauce was richer. The tempura bits added a nice crunch. I left feeling satisfied and would definitely visit again if I come back to Hakodate.

This is one of my favorite soba restaurants in the local area. We arrived about 10 minutes before the 11:30 opening time, and there were already 3 groups of people waiting in line, showing how popular it is. I had the squid tempura soba, and my companion had the soba with egg topping. The squid tempura was huge, probably using one whole squid, which was amazing for squid lovers! The soba noodles had a nice aroma and the broth was to my liking. It was a delicious meal.

There were a lot of reviews so I decided to go ^ ^ It's located in a residential area! The portion is a bit small. The soba has a good texture and is delicious. The tempura was also delicious with just the right amount of salt ^ ^ The duck soba is small with four pieces. If I go again, I want to try the tempura rice bowl set (o^^o) As others have mentioned, there was a reasonable wait time.

I visited the restaurant right after it opened. It wasn't full, but almost all the tables were taken. I was seated without waiting. It had been about 5 years since my last visit, and the reason I hadn't come back sooner was because of the long wait times. I ordered the cold tempura for 1600 yen that was posted on the wall, and waited for over 30 minutes... Finally, it arrived. Something felt off. The tempura was delicious, but was it always this small in portion? The soba noodles looked thin but were firm with a good texture. When I went to pay, I realized what was wrong. They had served me the 1200 yen cold tempura that was written on the table menu. The wait time was long, and the service felt rushed. I don't think I'll be returning for a while.

Located just off Hakko-dori street, between Kashiwagi-cho and Fukahori-cho on the Hakodate City Tram Yunokawa Line, this restaurant has ample parking in front and to the left of the building. Inside, the seating is arranged in an L-shape with a counter and kitchen area. They offer only one type of soba, with a lunch set option that includes tempura. I ordered the dipping soba. The soba noodles seemed to contain some starch, as they had a firm texture with no visible uneven cuts or scraps. The flavor and aroma of the soba were decent but not outstanding. The dipping sauce consisted of duck meat slices and green onions, with the duck meat being a bit thin but well-prepared. The soba broth, made in a kettle, had a good aroma but was not exceptional. Despite being crowded during the Hakodate horse racing season, the staff always take their time to prepare each dish carefully. They recently extended their weekend hours to three days a week, but they only serve lunch, so weekends can get quite busy. It may be a good idea to visit during off-peak hours to avoid the crowds.

I visited on Saturday afternoon. It was very crowded, but I had made a reservation in advance by phone, so I was able to get in just in time after waiting for about an hour. I was craving natto, so I ordered natto soba. It was light and the soba was smooth, making it refreshing to eat. My partner had the tempura and zaru soba set shown in the picture. They enjoyed a few bites of the tempura, which had a sweet sauce and tasted like a typical tempura dish. Despite being in the midst of morning sickness, we were able to enjoy the meal and felt happy. Thank you for the meal.

I used to love coming to this place and Kishindo, but Kishindo has closed down. Now this place is only open on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's always crowded, so I recommend arriving early. If you come at a random time, it gets really busy and takes longer.

Ishikura Tempura in Bakki-cho is a popular restaurant known for its crispy tempura and deliciously chewy soba noodles. The cost performance is also great. In my personal ranking of Hakodate soba, Ishikura is number 1, followed by Kuruba at number 2, and Kishindo at number 3. #Hakodate #soba #Ishikura

Since the closure of Okidoro, Ishikura has become the most popular soba restaurant in town. It opens at 11:30 am, but there was already a long line forming. The soba had a great texture, flavor, and was very smooth. #Hakodate #Ishikura #Kashiwagicho #soba

"I thought soba was delicious! The tsuyu sauce is not too sweet or salty, and the 100% buckwheat noodles have a rich flavor, thin and firm. The heavenly tempura side dish is perfectly seasoned too! In Hakodate, where seafood dishes like sushi are famous, soba restaurants are just as impressive with their delicious offerings. There are many delicious soba restaurants, but this one stands out from the rest!"

A hidden gem of a place. However, it's best to do some research before going because they are closed on certain days. The food is delicious and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. But when you're with a group, it can be hard to have a conversation. I think I would prefer going alone for a more relaxed experience.

Hakodate is known for its B-class gourmet food, and while Western cuisine is good, there are also many delicious soba noodle shops. When visiting a soba shop for the first time, I usually order cold soba noodles. Depending on the shop, the sauce is already poured over the noodles. The dish also comes with myoga (Japanese ginger) and ginger, giving it a slightly mature flavor. The soba noodles were delicious. The restaurant had a cozy, homely atmosphere with many locals dining there.
