It's convenient that they are open late (until 1 am). I stopped by after drinking, but most of the other ramen shops in front of the station were already closed. However, there were also many sold out menu items. I chose the 780 yen salt pork bone ramen. It had a gentle taste like champon. It felt more like a ramen with a strong buttery taste than a pork bone ramen. I ordered the abura soba, which seemed like the flagship product before, but it was just average. Personally, I prefer the tsukemen for the portion and the ramen for the taste. Rice used to be a free service in the past, but now it costs 50 yen. They have raised prices for various items, and the PayPay regional return festival is no longer eligible. The staff are always foreigners, but they are quick and efficient in serving. The store is bright and clean, with high partitions, and free Wi-Fi (town Wi-Fi) and outlets are available. It's convenient like the Skylark group. Payment is cash or PayPay only.

I used this place as my second dinner spot. I had the soy sauce chicken broth ramen. I found that compared to the salt version, the soy sauce one was more refreshing and delicious. The portion size is not big, so men might want to go for the large size. When I went, there were still dividers in the restaurant.

Ramen Master Torigin - Abura Soba
Here you can find a variety of ramen options such as soy sauce, miso, salt, house style, tsukemen, tantanmen, black, and chicken oil! This ramen shop caters to all preferences. The abura soba I ordered this time was a large serving for only 750 yen, which is incredibly affordable compared to nearby ramen shops! Thank you for the meal. #lunch #rameninstagrammer #rameninstagram #ramen #ramenstagram #aburasoba #aburasoba #mixingramen #ramenclub #ramenlovers #oily noodles #soba #gourmet

Since the pandemic, I've really cut down on eating out. Today, I had a rare drinking party with my colleagues, and on the way back home, I suddenly felt a craving for ramen. To alleviate some guilt, I chose a place where I could enjoy a light and refreshing bowl of ramen. I went with the Chicken Shio Ramen (600 yen), which is reasonably priced. The soup was clear and transparent, with a gentle saltiness that was quite delightful. They use eggs from Oku-Kuji in Ibaraki Prefecture, which is a nice touch. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the delicious chicken white broth ramen shop in Hoyasu! I went to Men Shou Toragin for lunch, just a 1-minute walk from Hoyasu Station. I recommend the flavored egg chicken white broth ramen for ¥880! You buy a ticket from the machine and then take a seat. You can choose between soy sauce and salt, and this time I chose soy sauce. It didn't take long for the ramen to be served, but the bowl felt small. I thought maybe I should have ordered rice too. The soup had a rich chicken white broth flavor with a strong soy sauce taste, which was delicious! It had a milky feel that warmed my stomach. The noodles were medium thickness and flat, perfectly blending with the soup. The chashu was tender and melted in my mouth, a flavor I really enjoyed. The egg yolk was creamy and added a nice touch. As I continued eating, the rich soup made me feel full, so the bowl size was just right. I finished every last bit. Thank you for the meal. #HoyasuLunch #HoyasuGourmet #HoyasuRamen #MenShouToragin #SeibuLineGourmet #SeibuLineLunch

- Pre-visit evaluation: ★3.06
I visited on a Friday around 10 pm. About 80% of the seats were taken, so it was quite crowded.
- Atmosphere/Service:
Among the surrounding shops, this place is the one that stays open the latest. It's like a sanctuary when you can't find anywhere else to eat late at night. It operates on a food ticket system, but you can use PayPay if you ask the staff. The narrow rectangular interior is packed with seats, which may be a concern during the pandemic. There is no extra space in the shop, making the layout efficient.
- Order:
I ordered the recommended "Ajitama Tori Paitan Ramen (Shoyu)" with rice for ¥850, as it was my first visit.
- Taste/Cost performance:
The ramen bowl provided was quite small, but the portion turned out to be just right. The chicken paitan broth was creamy and rich in flavor, with a strong punch. The noodles were medium-thick with a high water content. The two slices of chashu were tender and delicious, especially when eaten with rice. The rice was reasonably priced at ¥50. Towards the end of the meal, the richness of the chashu and chicken fat in the soup started to make my stomach feel heavy. To avoid feeling sick, I mixed the soup with rice and added chili bean paste and garlic for a different flavor. The initial portion of the ramen seemed small, but any more would have made me feel too full. This amount was just right.
- Overall:
I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be delicious. They have other types of ramen on the menu, so I will definitely revisit in the future.

I had some errands in Hoyasu that day, so I decided to have lunch at "Men Shokun Toragin" located in front of the station. I arrived at the restaurant around 12:30, and there were already two other customers. Although there weren't many people inside, delivery guys were coming in and out frequently, so it seems like a lot of people prefer to eat at home. I ordered the salt-flavored ramen with seasoned egg in chicken white broth. The rich and milky chicken white broth was the highlight of the dish, as advertised. It was flavorful and just the right amount of saltiness. The noodles were medium-thick and flat, with a smooth and chewy texture. I think thin noodles might have been a better match for this soup, but perhaps thicker noodles would work better with a soy-based chicken white broth. Overall, it was a slightly junky but well-executed chicken white broth ramen that I enjoyed. It's a good choice for a satisfying meal after a drink. Thank you for the meal.

This is a chicken soup ramen restaurant located right near Hoya Station. The slightly narrow interior is divided into table seating and counter seating. You purchase your meal using the ticket machine inside the restaurant. In addition to various toppings, they also offer oil noodles and dipping noodles, as well as rice dishes like grilled chicken bowl and gyoza, so they have a wide selection of items. I tried the spicy miso chicken ramen. The spicy flavor blends well with the rich miso soup and goes nicely with the flat noodles. The soup seems to be their specialty and it was delicious.

There is a shop at the south exit of Hoya Station, and it was my first time visiting. Lately, I have been going around trying different oil soba dishes nearby. So, I ordered the oil soba (700 yen, with free extra noodles). It came with a raw egg, and they recommended sprinkling it with chili oil and vinegar before eating. I followed their advice and it was slightly spicy but delicious. They also offered a free serving of rice.

Last time when I tried the noodles for the first time, they were even more delicious than I expected, so this time I brought my dad♥︎(。☌ᴗ☌。)♥︎(。☌ᴗ☌。) I wanted to have some drinks on the way back, so I had a highball and a little snack(๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑). My dad had something like tantanmen, and he said it was delicious‼️ I also enjoyed slurping up the soup♪ It's so tasty ( •ॢᴗ•ॢ⋈) Although it's not a place with long lines, having a restaurant of this quality with long opening hours is really helpful in these times. Thank you❤ I will definitely visit again. Gotamaー

Rest day for my liver. After my esthetician appointment, I couldn't resist the temptation and came to eat forbidden ramen. I just really wanted to eat ramen ( ˃ ⌑ ˂ഃ ) I couldn't control my feelings anymore. The ramen I ate on this day was... how do you read it, chicken clear broth ramen with a salty flavor~~ It was a beautiful broth that I enjoyed... No, no! The broth was beautifully finished ❤ After that, I added a lot of ginger and garlic from the table ❤ Ah, happiness ❤ Gotta-maー

Yesterday, I went to Hoya Station on the Seibu Line for the first time in a while. I decided to have lunch at a place with a menu displayed outside. They seemed to specialize in chicken broth, offering tsukemen, kae-dama, shoyu, and abura soba. I felt like trying something from the chicken broth category, so I ordered the chicken and niboshi ramen for 600 yen. The soup was a dark soy sauce color with flat noodles, topped with seared chashu, menma, nori, and onions. When I tried the soup, the flavors of niboshi and soy sauce were excellent. The onions, although typically refreshing, were in small quantities and didn't add much freshness. The flat noodles had a smooth texture and were cooked perfectly. There was some oil on the surface of the soup, so it stayed hot until the last bite.

I had a rich chicken white broth with black garlic ramen. It was like a blend of white broth and black garlic at Higashimurayama's Torigin. The three slices of chashu and seaweed topping were impressive. There are few chicken white broth shops in Higashimurayama, so Torigin is a valuable find.

This time, I went to the Hoya area in Tokyo for business. After 2 pm, I was looking for a place to have lunch and found a newly opened ramen shop called "Nokou Tori Shiratama Menshou Torigin." You choose your meal using a ticket machine inside the shop, and the recommended dish is the rich chicken white broth ramen. I chose the salt flavor of the rich chicken white broth and a side menu of grilled chicken bowl. The rich chicken white broth was a bit strong in flavor, and the grilled chicken bowl had a sweet sauce.

Visited in the afternoon. There were about two other customers and the restaurant was not crowded. I ordered the medium spicy tsukemen. It took about 5 minutes for my order to arrive. The first thing I noticed was that there was very little dipping sauce in the bowl. As you can see in the photo, the dipping sauce was less than half of the bowl. After a few bites, the dipping sauce ran out, so I had to finish the noodles without it. This was the first time I experienced something like this when eating tsukemen at a restaurant. It might be a cost-cutting measure to prevent customers from using too much dipping sauce. The taste of the soup itself was average. It had some spiciness but lacked depth of flavor. The lemon didn't really add anything to the dish. The noodles didn't have a strong wheat aroma and lacked chewiness, which was disappointing. The flavored egg was too salty. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

The most delicious ramen in Hoyasu, it's been a while since I last visited. There are well-known ramen shops like Inoshoya and Daishoken in Hoyasu, but personally, this is my favorite ramen shop. They have various types of ramen, but as usual, I ordered the chicken white broth ramen with salt. The soup is incredibly smooth and I couldn't help but take a few sips. I prefer noodles that are a bit firmer, but these noodles go perfectly with the soup. The staff are always energetic and the atmosphere is great. Considering the quality, the price of 700 yen is cheap.

I had chicken broth ramen. The creamy soup had a strong chicken flavor that was better than it looked. The medium-thick noodles were smooth and slid down the throat easily. The char siu was flavorful, crispy, and tender. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.
