I revisited the restaurant in August 2023 around 9:10 am on a weekday. I went for breakfast. The restaurant was about half full. This time, I ordered a "Plenty of Iced Coffee Black" verbally. It was brought to me as soon as it was ready. The Plenty of Iced Coffee Black was easy to drink and came in a large cup. When you mention Komeda, you think of their breakfast menu. If you order a drink, you will get complimentary bread. This time, I chose the loaf bread. I am likely to visit again in the future.

On a weekday afternoon in July 2023, I visited this Komeda Coffee shop for a little break by myself. The shop is located a short walk from JR Hachioji Station North Exit. It is situated in a lively area with many restaurants and shops, and is just a few minutes' walk from the station. This was my first time visiting a Komeda Coffee shop. Upon entering, I was greeted by a staff member who led me to a square table in the middle of the store. Despite being crowded on a weekday afternoon, I was seated within about 10 minutes. I ordered an iced coffee (540 yen including tax). The iced coffee at Komeda Coffee shop is delicious with a hint of sweetness. I might become a fan of this place.

In the morning, if you order coffee, you will get a free an butter toast. The interior of the restaurant has comfortable seats and many seats with outlets. There is also free Wi-Fi available. The only downside is that refills for coffee are not free.

I entered Komeda Coffee for breakfast. When you order a drink, you get bread with it, which is exciting. I ordered the Komeda Blend coffee, and chose the set with roll bread, sweet red bean paste, and butter. The red bean paste and butter were delicious! The coffee was also tasty. I drank about half of it before adding milk. The coffee with lots of milk was also delicious. By the way, the person sitting next to me ordered coffee but said they didn't need breakfast. I wonder if they already ate or if they're on a diet. If it were me, I would still order the set even if I were full (laughs). It's a happy morning moment for just 500 yen. They also have power outlets and Wi-Fi, so you can spend time here for various purposes.

It was our first time at this Komeda location. The interior was calm and surprisingly quiet. We apologize for our voices echoing in the peaceful environment. One of our companions was quite drunk and out of control. We sat at a table in the back and ordered various sweets and drinks. I chose the Choice of dessert set (Set B) with smooth chiffon cake and ice soy milk latte. The chiffon cake had a nice balance of bitter matcha and sweet whipped cream. The ice soy milk latte was not too overpowering with soy milk flavor. We quickly finished our treats and left to avoid causing any disturbance. Thank you for the meal.

I rode my road bike from Futakotamagawa to near Hachioji Station, passing through the Tamagawa and Asagawa cycling roads. I was surprised by how urban the area around Hachioji Station was. I felt a bit hesitant entering this urban-style Komeda Coffee shop in my road bike attire, but I was tired and needed a break. I usually associate Komeda with free breakfast with coffee, so I decided to try their meal offerings this time. I ordered the generously topped egg pizza toast and a large iced coffee. The "generous" series at Komeda is always good, and the egg pizza toast was indeed generously topped with eggs and cheese, making it quite filling. Sharing it with someone is just the right amount. The taste was excellent, with crispy toast, plenty of eggs, and gooey cheese - it's hard not to enjoy Komeda's dishes, which have a slightly junk food vibe that adds to the deliciousness.

I visited the restaurant around 13:40 on a weekend in May 2021. It was about 70% full inside. I went there for lunch and ordered the "Fish Fry Burger with plenty of Iced Coffee". The food was brought to me as soon as it was ready. The Fish Fry Burger had a good amount of filling, just like before. I don't usually eat burgers, but this one was different. It had cheese and tartar sauce, and it was delicious. The restaurant is quite spacious, with many table seats and some counter seats at the back of the restaurant.

We open at 8 am. Lately, I've been using morning sets more often than lunch, so I've been going to places that offer morning sets. The main reason I come to this place is that they accept the Hachioji Premium Voucher, which can only be used at Komeda's. I really enjoy having bread with my morning set. The coffee is easy to drink and the bread is soft and has a delicious buttery aroma when you bite into it. Unlike the atmosphere at XX Coffee, where you savor the taste, I like the quick and easy feeling here.

I thought they only served coffee, so I was hesitant to come in, but it turns out they also offer food. I tried their rice bowl beef hamburger, but the bun was dry. The filling was like sweetened beef bowl toppings, with a teriyaki flavor. There was a lot of shredded cabbage, but overall the taste was a bit too strong. It's almost like eating a hamburger makes you crave rice (laughs). They also offer a double meat option, but that seems like it would be too much. They could consider adding more cabbage. Surprisingly, they have a wide variety of lunch options, but the coffee choices are limited.

It's been a while since I visited Tokyo, and it's my first time in Hachioji. I'd love to leisurely explore Hachioji city, but I don't have much time, so I'll take a break at this shop for now. "Komeda Blend plenty size" - coming to Komeda always makes me feel relaxed. I'm not the type to stay long, but I strangely feel comfortable here. I'll continue my Komeda Coffee shop tour. A few minutes' walk from Hachioji Station North Exit. There are three types of morning sets, A, B, and C, but I ordered my favorite B set. When ordering, they asked about the drink, but didn't ask what to put on the toast... They asked other customers, but not me. While wondering why, the morning set arrived. The homemade egg paste on toast is indeed the best. It reminds me of my late mother's taste. By the way, I noticed a father coughing about 5 meters away from me. I decided to leave the restaurant promptly.

The only coffee I can drink as someone who can't drink coffee is the milk coffee at Komeda's. I wanted to take a break after lunch, so I stopped by. The milk coffee here has a lot of milk in it, so I can drink it! For those who don't like coffee, give it a try. I also added the seasonal shiro noir.

It was fully booked, but weekdays seemed busier. Despite it being Golden Week, the restaurant was quiet with many solo customers. I tried ordering black tea with lemon, and the thick-cut lemon was a nice touch. The coffee was delicious as always. The initial service felt a bit cold when I sat down. The seats were a bit cramped, so I left early. I wanted to have a hearty meal, but it was a bit pricey. In the end, I didn't eat. I'll come back when I can relax in a more spacious seat.

During a break from work, I visited Komeda Coffee Shop at Hachioji Station North Exit for a lunch meeting. I used to think Komeda Coffee was only in Nagoya, but now it seems to be everywhere! Personally, I'm happy about that. The interior of the shop is spacious, and it was quite busy during lunchtime with many ladies and people having lunch. The separation of smoking and non-smoking sections is a good feature. I ordered a generous hot coffee and a hot sandwich. The coffee was indeed generous as stated in the menu, and it was great! As for the hot sandwich, I didn't have high expectations (I just ordered it on a whim), but I was surprised. The bread was freshly baked, crispy, fluffy, had a lot of volume, and tasted delicious! The mustard mayo added a nice touch. I finished it in no time. I had plenty of time, but I didn't need a coffee refill (it was so filling), so I was able to relax. Thank you for the meal!
