I used to often go to City Shop in Shibuya and Omotesando! I knew there was one in Tokyo Station, but I never had the chance to go until the day I had a quick lunch there. I went around 12 pm on a Saturday and was able to get in without waiting, but it was almost full! The lunch deli at City Shop is usually around 1800 yen at other places, so you can't customize your meal here, but I thought the cost performance was good considering the portion size! I ordered the Salmon and Mushroom Salad for 1300 yen, Bread for 60 yen, and the Vegetable-packed Champon Udon for 1180 yen! I had the salad, which came in a plate bigger than my face and was quite filling! Among the four options, this salad seemed to have the most variety of vegetables! It's really a portion that could satisfy even if shared by two people (we actually got small plates to divide and share). If you go with someone who's okay with sharing, ordering two salads and two udon dishes to share might be a good idea to try a variety of dishes! City Shop never disappoints with its delicious food! I felt like trying a deli with options again, so I'll go to one with deli options after a long time! Thanks for the meal!

■ Perfect Salad (single item) ¥1,100 Kale, green kale, sunny lettuce, trevis, avocado, boiled egg, red core radish, carrot, roast chicken, cottage cheese, quinoa, pressed wheat, wild rice, red rice, black rice, almonds, walnuts, dressing: Signature French dressing It was a healthy lunch with a good balance of vegetables, nuts, and rice. The dressing was delicious. ■ Toriten Oroshi Hiya Udon ¥1,232 ■ ICE Soy Latte (drink set) ¥363 The grated udon was cool and delicious. The portion may look small in the photo, but when it was served, I was surprised by how much there actually was. *Visited on a weekday around 12:30 PM, no waiting time, no line. Payment method: PayPay. Thank you for the meal!

The color tone of the photo is quite strange, but the food was delicious. I passed by this place about 100 times before and had udon once in the past (it was delicious). Recently, a person who became a Tokyo Station user mentioned that the soft serve ice cream here was delicious, so I decided to try it. It was around 600 yen... quite expensive, but it had a good portion size and was tasty, so it's okay. This is a mix of white peach and vanilla. The color tone is really strange, isn't it? It looks a bit off-putting. It tastes four times better than it looks. It's a good option for the way back home on a day when something unpleasant happened.

I visited this restaurant for lunch and ordered the Perfect Salad with bread and soup. The salad had a variety of vegetables and grains that went well with the dressing and was very delicious. The portion was generous, and after having the bread and soup, I was very full. I thought it was a great place to have a healthy lunch when you want to eat something substantial.

Mix of white peach and milk (550 yen). I was worried that the flavors would be blurred when mixed, but both the white peach and milk had distinct flavors and were delicious even when eaten together. The white peaches from Okayama Prefecture seem to be limited time only.

Lunch with a group of guests from Taiwan at a udon restaurant in Tokyo Station. We were in a hurry due to limited time for transit, so we decided to have lunch inside the ticket gates at the station. It was our first time at this udon restaurant, which had a wide variety of udon dishes on the menu. For lunch, you could choose to add tempura, mixed rice, and salad to your order. We ordered the spicy champon udon with mixed rice and salad set. Everyone enjoyed the udon. The menu also offered a variety of salads and other options, so it seems like a place where you wouldn't get tired of dining even after multiple visits. It was delicious, we will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal!

I went to CITY SHOP inside Tokyo Station and had steamed chicken and 8 kinds of vegetable salad udon with jasmine tea. The healthy and stylish menu not only tasted good but also had a satisfying portion. The steamed chicken was tender without any strong smell, and the fresh vegetables paired perfectly with the thin udon noodles underneath the salad. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy plenty of vegetables in a delicious way. ☺️

Stylish udon restaurant. The interior was crowded with a mix of foreigners, office workers, and many other people, but we were able to enter smoothly. The udon we ordered came quickly. I had the udon with dipping sauce and grated daikon, which was refreshing. My friend had the bolognese udon. The soft serve with Chiba pear after the meal was more voluminous than it looked in the photo, with a light and delicious taste.

(I) Croissant 200 yen (Friend) Pain au Chocolat 300 yen Bought before boarding the Shinkansen. Every time I come to Tokyo Station, I buy the croissant☆ I always go for the usual croissant, while my friend chose the Pain au Chocolat that they liked last time. We had them the next morning. They were cheap, just the right size, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and easy to eat. I will buy them again when I come to Tokyo Station♫ Thank you for the meal ( ╹ ▽ ╹ )☆

I ordered soy sauce udon and iced coffee. You can add for an additional 150 yen. The udon noodles are thinner than Sanuki udon. They are firm and very smooth and delicious. The iced coffee has a strong acidity and sweetness. Since I was feeling cold, maybe hot coffee would have been better. When I have room in my stomach, I want to try the salad set or udon with toppings!

I was overwhelmed by the increasing number of new restaurants, but since I was in a hurry, I chose to have some quick udon noodles. It was my first time at this restaurant near Tokyo Station's Yaesu exit. I ordered udon with shrimp, vegetables, mentaiko cream, and tempura. The watercress was a bit difficult to eat, but the shiso leaf added a nice touch and it was delicious. I was hoping for a half-cooked egg in the tempura, but it turned out to be a fully boiled egg.

Located inside Tokyo Station on the first floor near the north corridor, CITYSHOP opened in August 2020. They have a variety of delicious pastries displayed at the storefront starting from 7 am. I purchased a croissant (200 yen + tax) and a pain au chocolat (300 yen + tax). The croissant was crispy, flaky, and filled with a juicy flavor, reminiscent of those from BOUL'ANGE. The company operating CITYSHOP is FLAVORWORKS, a part of the same BAKECRUISE group as BOUL'ANGE. I have been a fan since the days of Gontarancherie. The pain au chocolat had a generous amount of chocolate, providing a satisfying taste. I enjoyed a delicious croissant and pain au chocolat in the morning.

A shop located inside the JR Tokyo Station ticket gates. They mainly serve udon and salads. I visited for the first time and ordered the champon udon for 1073 yen. It had unique ingredients like a red boiled egg and large wood ear mushrooms, but the taste was simple and delicious.

I've been waiting for a place in the station where I can get a lot of salad and have a quick lunch. It seems like a young lady is cooking, but the hot sandwich was delicious enough. Recently, the food and beverage outlets in Tokyo Station have become much more fulfilling than before, and I'm surprised. I'll explore it again.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be delicious and satisfying in terms of both portion size and price! There were a few other restaurants with lines, so I chose this one because it seemed easy to get into. I knew this place was known for its salads, and I was a bit worried about getting full. However, the way they baked the bread was great and became addictive. The acidity of the salad dressing stimulated my appetite and was very good. I even felt like I became healthier. It was clear that this popular restaurant lived up to its reputation.

(I) Croissant 200 yen (Friend) Pain au Chocolat 300 yen Decided to buy it again! (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)♫ I ate it the next morning. It was big but not too heavy, easy to eat. It had a moist and slightly crispy texture. I was torn between this and the Kouign-Amann, but went for the more affordable Croissant. My friend said the Pain au Chocolat was delicious. I love Kouign-Amann, so I might buy it next time, but I'll probably end up getting the Croissant again. The Salmon and Mushroom Salad also looks delicious, so I want to try it someday! I might get some soft serve ice cream in July or August when I go to Tokyo Station. I always go there whenever I visit, but I'm not confident in navigating alone (I'm bad with directions). Thank you for the meal! (╹▽╹)☆

I love the morning plate at this restaurant and I occasionally visit. It's located in a corner of the station so there's not much of a line, which is nice. For lunch, I had the large bowl of smooth and beautifully presented udon noodles, which was really good! Last time I had mentaiko cream, and today I had tantan vegetable toppings, which made for a spicy and satisfying noodle dish. Even though the main dish is noodles, it's filled with plenty of condiments and vegetables, so you can chew and enjoy it thoroughly. Although it's a bit pricey because it's in the station, it's one of my favorite places.

The entrance was smooth, and the ordered items came out quickly, which was nice. The tempura set with pumpkin, chikuwa, and boiled egg for 300 yen was a good deal. Although it was written as "raw soy sauce udon," the soy sauce was sweet again this time. For us country folk from Kanto, this sweet stuff doesn't seem like raw soy sauce... This is more like a dipping sauce... It varies by region, doesn't it? It's too sweet. Thank you for the meal.

Instagram also posting ▷@_currynyann_ 〈Visit date〉 - May 17, 2023, 7:00 PM - No wait - About 70% full 〈Inside the restaurant〉 - Half of the customers are dining alone - Many counter seats available - Located in the station area, so not a very relaxed atmosphere, more like a quick eat and go vibe 〈Ordered items〉 - Classic Salad Udon 980 yen 〈Impressions〉 - Looks like a small portion but surprisingly filling - Fresh vegetables provide a satisfying crunch - The French dressing is quite rich, may be higher in calories than expected - Salad menu looks vibrant! I remember previously going to a tonkatsu restaurant along the concourse for a quick lunch, but this time I decided to try something new. I soon noticed a sign that caught my eye and decided to give it a try. The seasoning and ingredients were overall good, but unfortunately the noodles were a bit soft. It was a bit disappointing as I was expecting a firmer texture. I ordered the champon udon, which seemed like a fairly normal item on the menu. When it arrived, it looked like a typical champon dish except for the noodles. The broth had a strong pepper flavor and was quite tasty, but the noodles were softer than expected. As I started eating the toppings, I noticed that the boiled egg was pink. I was surprised at first, but it didn't really affect the taste. Perhaps the target audience is mainly women? Overall, it was a decent meal.

Croissant 200 yen each x2 I bought them before getting on the Shinkansen. I had some time to spare, so I was wandering around and noticed that these croissants were big and a good deal for 200 yen each. I think it's a good deal to find this size at Tokyo Station. They are slightly bigger than regular croissants. I also noticed the Kouign-Amann next to the Pain au Chocolat. There was soft serve ice cream too. I ate them the next morning with a friend. They were moist and fluffy, not dense, with a light and airy texture. They didn't taste greasy, probably because they didn't use butter with a strong flavor. They were lighter than regular croissants. I might buy them every time I come to Tokyo Station. They were delicious, so I want to eat them again. They also had sandwiches and salads. I might buy them again on my way back. Thank you for the meal.
