I explored a shop that I had been interested in. It turned out to be a fantastic surprise in a hidden location... It's about a 5-minute walk from Naka-Meguro Station, tucked away from the famous street lined with cherry blossoms♀️ Although the location is a bit hard to find, the place was fully booked even on a weekday. I managed to squeeze in between reservations for a short visit... The interior of the shop is quite small, but they utilize the space well with counter seats, table seats, and I could hear lively voices from a group on the second floor, showing how popular the place is... I had limited time so I quickly placed my order. The service was prompt and I appreciated the efficiency... The highlight was the assorted sashimi platter, a must-try❣️ Tuna, salmon roe, octopus, shrimp, all beautifully arranged in a box for only 500 yen‼️ Was the price a mistake? It's limited to one set per group, but it was more than enough and delicious✨... The delicious dishes kept coming. The "Kaiho Yaki" featured scallop shells filled with a luxurious combination of scallop meat, crab, salmon roe, and sea urchin, all grilled to perfection. The Oden had a clear and gentle broth that was heartwarming, and the addition of grated radish was excellent... The drink menu had a variety of lemon sours, and I was drawn to the seasonal limited edition Sakura Salted Lemon Sour. It had a subtle pink color, a good balance of acidity and saltiness, perfect for spring... The shop is named "Uo Uorou" (Fish Fish Old Man), and there were Totoro decorations scattered around the place, creating a relaxing atmosphere. There were also cute Snoopy dishes that added to the charm... Time flew by quickly, and as I left with a lingering feeling, I realized that reservations are a must. If you love fish and Japanese cuisine, this is a highly recommended restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
